What does it actually take to keep your body healthy through rehearsals, performances, flights, hotels, and the demands of life on the road? Athletic trainer Adam Quigley has supported artists and tours including Post Malone, Lorde, Tyla, Karol G, the Jabbawockeez, 5 Seconds of Summer, plus broadway tours like MJ the Musical and Moulin Rouge, helping performers care for their bodies through the unique physical demands of touring. In this conversation, Adam shares practical strategies for staying healthy on the road while challenging dancers to think of themselves as athletes. We discuss how to build a warm-up that supports the demands of dance, what to pack on tour, navigating time zone changes and travel fatigue, fueling your body while traveling, and why recovery deserves just as much attention as performance. Adam also shares his philosophy of care, explains why movement is medicine, and offers practical advice for preventing small issues from becoming bigger ones. The conversation also explores the physical and mental comedown after tour - something many dancers experience but rarely discuss, despite how important it can be for long-term health and performance. Whether you're touring internationally, teaching on weekends, traveling for work, or simply want to build a longer, healthier dance career, this episode is packed with practical tools to help you take better care of your body. Post Malone Biography Flash: Trap Post Returns, World Cup Stage Awaits

Post Malone

Play Episode Listen Later Jul 19, 2026 3:11

Post Malone Biography Flash a weekly Biography. Post Malone has spent the past few days quietly but decisively reshaping the next chapter of his biography. The biggest development is music: People magazine reports that he just teased a new hip hop track from the studio, captioned on social media with the line “That one mofo that don't know when to leave,” a clear wink that he is not done with rap despite his recent country pivot. Complex adds that this preview is tied to his upcoming double album The Eternal Buzz, a 40‑song project he has discussed on Twitch, saying he hopes to release two albums in 2026 if everything goes his way, signaling a major creative inflection point likely to define this era of his career. Whiskey Riff and other music outlets note that fans are now convinced he will straddle both genres, with The Eternal Buzz widely speculated to be split between rap and country; that split is still unconfirmed and remains fan theory rather than verified fact. AllHipHop and B87FM frame the teaser as the return of “Trap Post,” marking a narrative in hip hop media that he is reclaiming the sound that made him a star, which could have long‑term implications for how his genre‑bending legacy is written. On the business and touring front, SeatGeek and Logjam Presents show that the BIG ASS Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll and Carter Faith is in full swing, with dates across the U.S. and Canada through late July, including stadium stops like MidAmerican Energy Field in Ames and Washington‑Grizzly Stadium in Missoula. These massive venues underscore his ongoing status as a stadium‑level draw and reinforce the touring side of the Post Malone brand. Vivid Seats and Hypebot listings for later 2026 dates, plus Kai Tak Sports Park promotions for a Hong Kong stadium show, point to a sustained global touring strategy that extends well beyond this summer. In a headline with more cultural than musical weight, ESPN reports that FIFA has tapped Post Malone to headline the World Cup closing ceremony, putting him on one of the biggest live stages on earth alongside names like Tom Cruise and streamer IShowSpeed. That booking, confirmed by sports outlets, is poised to be a milestone performance that cements his crossover appeal to a worldwide audience. On social media, the studio teaser clip is the dominant storyline, amplified by music blogs like InMusicBlog and fan chatter interpreting every bar and beat as evidence of a full hip hop comeback. As of now, there are no credible reports of major personal life changes, controversies, or new business ventures beyond touring and the forthcoming album; anything suggesting otherwise appears to be speculative and not backed by reliable outlets. That's your latest installment of Post Malone Biography Flash, tracking the moves that will matter in his long‑term story. Carter Baldwin was on the same hunt, going back to his college days in '90s Austin, and eventually decided to make the shirt himself. Brazos Fine Shirts is the result: 100% cotton, mother-of-pearl snap, made in the Los Angeles Garment District — and it took roughly six years, a career's worth of DTC marketing know-how, and one catastrophic run of 1,000 shirts with the snaps pressed on backwards to get there. Carter walks Scott through why a Western shirt takes 24 hand-cut pieces and can't be automated, how NAFTA hollowed out El Paso's garment district, and how Post Malone's stylist found the brand a month after launch.

Welcome back to this week's episode of Trudge Report. Thank you for supporting the show. This week we recap Corey's quick trip to Jersey for his father in law's 65th birthday and his run in with World Cup traffic. Danny P's new cornrows, Maya's birthday celebrations, a Harry Potter bedroom makeover, Post Malone reviews, Fourth of July plans, and epic golf trips, and America's birthday. In the recovery segment, Corey brings a social media post that claims addiction is simply a choice, sparking one of our more honest and straightforward conversations. We unpack the difference between making the first choice to use and reaching the point where that choice no longer exists. We share when each of us realized we couldn't stop on our own. Why recovery demands accountability without living in shame. We also explore whether recovery itself is a choice, the importance of taking responsibility for our actions, and why making amends is about healing rather than making excuses."I used to think freedom was the ability to do whatever I wanted. Now I know true freedom is the ability to choose not to do the things that destroy me."— UnknownDon't forget to like, share, rate, and download the podcast on all of your listening platforms. We start things off learning who took Moon's Blue Angel seat. Does he spend an impressive amount of time talking about it? Absolutely. As the crew breaks down the story, they somehow end up discussing social media influencers, science teachers, childhood dreams, and the emotional support system required to survive a week without Moon in the studio.Do electric bikes actually count as riding bikes? The crew dives into new enforcement efforts targeting certain high-powered e-bikes and electric dirt bikes around the St. Louis area. What starts as a conversation about public safety quickly becomes a nostalgic trip through mini bikes, neighborhood troublemakers, and the legendary Harold Mansfield—a man whose life story somehow includes cigarettes, football pads, and enough old-man energy to power an entire town.Unfortunately for Rafe, this episode lands directly on National Cheese Day. The result is a nearly impossible challenge as the crew debates America's favorite cheeses, reminisces about government cheese, argues about Parmesan, and watches Rafe slowly spiral into what can only be described as a cheese-related existential crisis. The food news doesn't stop there. The team puts on their completely unqualified legal hats to discuss a lawsuit involving a woman who slipped on mashed potatoes at an Outback Steakhouse and is seeking serious damages. Could mashed potatoes really change someone's life forever? The crew investigates the case with all the professionalism you'd expect from people who spent ten minutes ranking cheese. You'll also hear discussions about Cheesecake Factory's return to West County, dangerous summer bacteria lurking in the water, lake season traditions, childhood adventures, weird news, celebrity-level aviation envy, and the everyday chaos that somehow becomes a radio show. The apocalypse is trending again, which means naturally The Rizzuto Show spent way too much time discussing celebrity bunkers, survival plans, and exactly how many canned goods Moon would trade for a VIP pass into Post Malone's luxury doomsday compound.Meanwhile, we uncover one of Hollywood's greatest mysteries: Why does Matt Damon constantly need rescuing? From Saving Private Ryan to The Martian to Interstellar, movie studios have spent hundreds of millions of dollars bringing Matt Damon back home. At this point, it may be more cost effective to simply stop letting him wander off.The gang also gets sidetracked debating Father's Day, celebrity prepper culture, militia-friendly states, and whether Moon can somehow charm his way onto someone's apocalypse guest list before society collapses. Spoiler alert: he's already working on it.A Houston 911 dispatcher who admitted she hung up on thousands of emergency callers because she simply "didn't want to talk to anyone." The gang dives into the unbelievable details, the real-life consequences, and the even more unbelievable punishment she received. It's one of those stories that leaves everyone asking the same question: "Wait... that's it?"The crew gets into a surprisingly honest conversation about grief after a listener asks whether using dark humor to cope with losing a parent is normal. What follows is a heartfelt, hilarious, and occasionally concerning discussion featuring dead-dad jokes, funeral stories, family reactions, and proof that sometimes laughter is the only thing keeping the wheels attached. Somehow, this emotional conversation also leads to a search party for a missing Jeff Burton cardboard cutout. Because of course it does. And just when you think things can't get any weirder, the conversation shifts to a life-changing offer: one million dollars tax-free—but your legal name becomes "Shart" forever. No nicknames. No take-backs. Just Shart.
