You've spent years believing you're undisciplined, inconsistent, bad at adulting. But what if you've been white-knuckling undiagnosed ADHD this whole time? More than half of my clinic has some form of attention deficit, and I see the impact on health every day: the routine slips, appointments get missed, workouts fall off, and healthy habits never quite stick. Then comes the shame: Why can't I just get it together? In this episode, clinical psychologist Dr. Ida Salusky explains how executive function and undiagnosed ADHD can derail your health goals, especially for women who've spent years being told they're “not trying hard enough.” You'll learn why consistency can feel so difficult, and how to start working with your brain instead of against it.ReferencesDr. Salusky's practice websitePSYPACT map link Want the complete resource list? Send me a Text Message! What if I only had one day, one day to live, one day to give, or just one day to do whatever my heart desired to do? What would you do with one day to do whatever you wanted to do?The average lifespan in the United States is 29,200 days (give or take). My mother-in-law recently celebrated her 32,872nd day. My mom and dad are both over 30,000 days old. In a few weeks, I will celebrate my 23,376th day! In Psalm 84, David says that one day in God's presence is worth a 1000 anywhere else. One day in God's presence is better than 1000 of my best days anywhere else. Which causes me to pause and ask, "Would I give my life for 23+ days in God's presence? Or let me make it more immediate and practical. Would I give God an hour of my day today, if I thought it was that good?Psalm 84 is an encouraging and convicting Psalm that causes me to ask the question, "What would I do if I only had one day?"

Nothing says summer like a nice, crisp white wine, and in this episode, we cover one of the greats that you may never have heard of called Vermentino. Vermentino is a fabulous wine most famously from the island of Sardinia that is a perfect summer sipper. Vermentino is also likely to be a wine that you start seeing more often because it comes from a grape that creates these crisp, high acidic wines, but can take the heat in warmer climates and keep its acidity. In addition to digging into Vermentino and tasting and reviewing a couple of great wines you should be on the lookout for, we also talk about the criteria that make a great summer sipper and we give you a short list of some other wines to look out for. Summer isn't over yet! Enjoy it while it's here! Most energy retailers earn more the more you use. Octopus Energy built its business on the opposite idea — that a utility should help you spend less. Eric Davids, who leads US strategy, explains how: "plunge pricing" alerts at 50–70% off when renewables are abundant, EV tariffs that cut peak demand 42% and save around £650 a year, and the striking claim that a simple behavioural nudge, at scale, can replace a gas peaker plant. Figures are from Octopus's UK operations. Connect with Sohail Hasnie: Facebook @sohailhasnie X (Twitter) @shasnie LinkedIn @shasnie ADB Blog Sohail Hasnie YouTube @energypreneurs

Send me a Text Message! What would you think if I told you that I believe "play" is in the very heart of Father God. I love how the prophet Isaiah describes this play-full God in Isaiah 29:13-14:"The Lord says: 'These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder." Did you catch that? God is bummed because people's hearts are all bricked up and their worship is filled with dry rules. There's no joy, no fun. So what does God decide to do? "Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder..."I'm gonna blow their minds, knock their socks off, I'm gonna bring a smile to their faces, if it's the last thing I do. Let me ask you... when is the last time you let God astound you?
Send me a Text Message! We are going to talk about the spiritual practice of play. U knew this was coming, but still you're tempted to ask, "Did he say play or pray?" Play? Why would we talk about play on the sabbath? Play is not really a spiritual practice is it? Good question! That a Christian should be a great worker, a blessing to every boss is easily defensible. That a follower of Jesus should be willing to sacrifice, even suffer for their faith. I've said that, more than once. That a Christian should be known for their love. Of course...almost goes without saying. How about no one in the world should be known for their playfulness like followers of Christ? How does that sit with you? In this episode I'll start to make the case that the Kingdom of God is for kids who love to play and there's no better time to play, than on God's stop-day!

Send me a Text Message!God made "stop-day" (the sabbath) a rule, because He loves delight. He loves to delight us. I think I could even say, He loves to have fun. Sabbath is God saying, hey what I have made for you is so cool, I'm gonna insist that you enjoy it." Remember how we described sabbath in the last episode? Basically God has said, "Once a week I will carve out a day for you. I'm going to remove it from the curse; call it holy so that Satan can't mess with it and I'm going to fill it with blessings. Primarily the blessing of me. And I am so good, you don't want to miss this day. It'll be like the old days, back in the garden."So practically speaking how do we do it? How do I have a "be-with-God" day?

When projects begin piling up and every decision seems to depend on you, hiring can feel like the obvious next step. But what if overwhelm isn't actually telling you that you need another employee? In this episode, I explore why hiring is often used to solve the wrong problem. Before you write a job description, learn how to think like a CEO and diagnose the real source of the pressure. In This Episode Why overwhelm is information, not a hiring strategy The difference between capacity problems and systems problems How to identify what's really creating pressure in your business Why organizing work should come before creating a position Choosing the right level of support for your business Preparing your business for delegation and future growth Thinking like a CEO when making hiring decisions Hiring isn't about escaping overwhelm. Send me a Text Message! When it comes to keeping the sabbath, basically God has said, "Once a week I'm gonna to carve out a day for you. I'm gonna remove it from the curse; call it holy so that Satan can't mess with it and I'm going to fill it with blessings. Primarily the blessing of me. And I'm good. I'm so good. You won't regret this day. It'll be like the old days, back in the garden. It's gonna be a day where I can remind you that I love you and I actually want to spend time with you. You are my delight."What if that was what the Sabbath was all about? And if that's what it's all about…would you really want to miss it? Wouldn't it be your best day of the week?
A genetic connective tissue disorder deemed incurable by medicine improved dramatically through carnivore nutrition and structural medicine that conventional practice overlooks.DESCRIPTIONAt 16, Edward Goeke developed debilitating symptoms that left him bedridden: crippling pain whenever he felt emotion, constant tachycardia, and progressive deterioration. For two years, doctors dismissed him. Medications failed. Plant-based eating worsened his condition. By 18, he was losing vision and preparing to die. Then came diagnosis: Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a genetic connective tissue disorder affecting his ligaments throughout his body. Told it was permanent. Told he'd never fully recover. But something shifted when he eliminated plant foods entirely and adopted a carnivore diet. Combined with targeted structural therapies—PRP prolotherapy and deep tissue tendon needling—his symptoms stabilized, then reversed. Now 22, he walks, trains, and functions normally. More provocatively, he's built a research-backed argument that "genetic" and "incurable" aren't the same thing, and that nutritional intervention can fundamentally alter gene expression.Edward's now creating content to challenge mainstream health dogma, particularly for younger audiences conditioned to accept conventional medicine's failures as inevitable.Edward Goeke: ContraindicatedYouTube: Edward A. Angelos Iatridis has a philosophy that stuck with us: if you want to be a better man, you make better wine. That's the kind of thoughtful conversation we get into in this special episode, a deep dive into PDO Amyndeon and PGI Florina, two of Greece's protected wine designations, with Angelos from Alpha Estate. He talks about Xinomavro, the region's signature red grape, which is often described as sitting somewhere between Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir, but shaped entirely by Amyndeon's high altitude, its ring of three mountains, and two nearby lakes that keep the climate in balance. He explains why the sandy, limestone soil left behind by an ancient lake gives the wine its acidity, and how that same acidity lets Xinomavro age for decades, slowly turning from red fruit into notes of dried tomato and olive paste. Angelos also opens up about how climate change has actually helped ripening in Amyndeon over the last 30 years, why he believes the best winemaking technology should be invisible in the glass, and how his own daughter's research helped preserve the purest expression of the grape for the next generation. By the end, he's picked the exact bottle he'd bring to a big Sunday family dinner, one he says carries both place and memory. It's a warm, generous conversation with someone who clearly loves what he does, and you'll come away wanting to track down a bottle of his Xinomavro for yourself.Send us a Text Message and we'll respond in our next episode!Contact The Wine Pair Podcast - we'd love to hear from you!Visit our website, leave a review, and reach out to us: https://thewinepairpodcast.com/Follow and DM us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thewinepairpodcast/Send us an email: joe@thewinepairpodcast.com

The OG Regular Joes are back, together again…kind of like the Avengers, sort of. This week, Dave, Barry and Tod kick it off with some random topics and then share their thoughts on the newly release Avengers Doomsday trailer. Also, the Joes have watched all of Apple TV's For All Mankind spin off series, Star City…the bleak but likely accurate view of what the Soviet Space Program might have been like if Russia was the first to lan on the moon and the chaos and paranoia that ensues. There's also a round of What's in the Box. And dont forget to check out this weeks sponsors, Fanboy Collectibles, Danger Island Models and From Dave's Workshop, links in the description below. Send me a Text Message! The sabbath is a way of saying, "God it's not just a matter of time, if I had all the time in the world, I still wouldn't be able to finish. I need help. I'm limited." I think one reason we don't sabbath well is because we haven't accepted our limitations. We need to develop a theology of limitations. The sabbath call in Psalm 46 is "Be still and know that I am God." Usually when we think of the word stillness, we think of quiet. Stillness is a lack of noise and sometimes we desperately need times of solitude and silence. But God is notsaying, "Be quiet and know that I am God." The Hebrew word means stop or simply cease. Cease striving. Hands up. Give up. Let Him be God!
Send me a Text Message! We are starting the second mini-series of spiritual practices that bring God's gracious hand upon us. For the next 8-10 episodes we're going talk about keeping the Sabbath. The Sabbath is God's stop-day. And let's be honest, it's so hard. And if you ask why is it so hard to slow down? Isn't the most common answer, well 24/7 living and 24/7 work is what it takes to get ahead. I mean there is so much todo. It's like, "God, if you want to take a day off, that's your business, but you can see that I just don't have time to stop."But here's my question, the sabbath question. What if getting ahead is the wrong race? What if getting ahead is really falling behind and we have to stop in order to catch up with the life that really matters? What if getting ahead is the wrong race?

Send me a Text Message!Remain. Mostly what I want to talk about, in this last episode of the series, is that word "remain." In Biblical Greek, it's the word meno. It means to take a stand against difficult circumstances. But it was also used to refer to relationships, close personal relationships. So maybe the sense of the word meno in John 15 is "to stick close even when it's difficult."Stick close to me and I will stick close to you. Regardless of how hard life is, let my words stick close. Stick close to my love. If you stick close, you will live a life that thrives, so stick close. See, if want to breakthrough to a life that thrives, we need to remain!
Send Katie a Text Message!! What happens after a client asks you to expand the scope of a project? For many interior designers, this is where profitable projects begin to lose momentum. Without a clear process, additional work can quickly turn into unclear expectations, shrinking margins, and unnecessary stress. The way you respond in that moment says far more about your business than the email itself. In this episode, I break down the one email I wish every interior designer would send when a client wants to add another room or phase to a project. More importantly, I explain the systems, contracts, communication, and leadership that need to exist behind that email if you want to build a profitable, scalable design firm.In This Episode Why project expansion should never feel chaotic The client email every designer should have ready How to confidently manage additional services Why contracts should support long-term client growth Turning expanded scope into profitable opportunities The systems that create trust and strengthen client relationships How professional firms make growth feel seamless Business growth doesn't come from constantly finding new clients. It comes from serving your existing clients so well that they continue choosing you again and again.Connect with KatieLinkedInBusiness Strategy Sessions for Interior Designers Free Resources for scaling your interior design firmWebsite
Send me a Text Message! In John 15 there is a serious call to love God's Words, to make them an always-there part of our hearts. Jesus uses the word, "remain." Remain in me. Let my words remain in you. Remain in my life. Remain. What we will find in this episode is that there is a connection that goes beyond metaphor into the land of mystical, a connection between Jesus, who is called "The Word" and the Word which we call our Bible. It's almost like God speaks and every time God opens his mouth, Jesus comes out. Here's the point, "I can't love Jesus, if I don't love the Word!
Your body cannot release stored fat or heal itself when it perceives threat; gratitude is the measurable physiological switch that lowers cortisol, raises oxytocin, and allows metabolic transformation.DESCRIPTIONBen Azadi lost 80 pounds and reversed suicidal depression through metabolic healing. His father wasn't as fortunate—a preventable decline into type 2 diabetes, neuropathy, and stroke in 2014. That loss forged his purpose: reach one billion people and reverse type 2 diabetes in a million within a decade. But Azadi's message diverges sharply from the biohacking mainstream. While cold plunges and red light have their place, they're secondary. The foundation is unglamorous: gratitude, sunlight, grounding—all free, all measurable in blood work and heart rate variability. The science is stark: stress elevates cortisol; cortisol packs visceral fat around your organs. Gratitude does the inverse. Peer-reviewed research shows intentional gratitude practices reduce all-cause mortality by 9 percent and cardiovascular death by 15 percent.KetoFlex Revised, his new book, merges this psychological work with metabolic flexibility—teaching your body to burn fat instead of remaining locked into sugar dependence. His thesis: most people major in the minors, chasing complexity while overlooking what actually works.Ben Azadi Contact Info:https://KetoFlexBook.comSocial Media LinksInstagram: instagram.com/thebenazadiFacebook: facebook.com/thebenazadiYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@KetoKampTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thebenazadiSend Dr. Ovadia a Text Message. That 45-minute workout plan feels completely doable when you're making it on a Sunday. Same with the meal prep, the protein goals, the whole “this is the week I get it together” plan. And then Tuesday hits…Your sleep is off, work is a lot, someone in the house gets sick, and suddenly the routine that looked so reasonable a few days ago has completely crumbled. Then comes the “why can't I stick with anything?” feeling that you failed. But what if the plan was just never built to survive a hard week?In this episode, we're talking about why the health routines that look best on paper often fall apart the second life gets messy. Plus, we'll get into the “survival test” every routine needs to pass, and how to make the healthy choice the easy choice before your mood has a chance to talk you out of it.ReferencesAmy's KitchenSecure your spot for the September round of The 30/30 Program now (spaces limited).Get the free podcast roadmap for The Obesity GuideSubscribe to my Youtube channelAll of the information on this podcast is for general informational purposes only. Send me a Text Message!Well this isn't the message I preached last Sunday on the Psalms, but it is the Psalm I would have preached on if I wasn't on vacation. :) Psalm 77 is a powerful Psalm on gratitude in the midst of hard times. Few spiritual practices are as easy to understand, and require so little "practice" as gratitude, but honestly it is so powerful, so helpful, so refreshing. Maybe this Psalm will spur us on to gratitude!

Every SMS marketing platform is pushing something called RCS right now, telling you it's the future of texting your customers. And the upgrade is real - but the pitch is leaving out a few things worth knowing before you make any decisions. RCS, which stands for Rich Communication Services, isn't actually new technology. It was standardized back in 2007. The reason everyone is suddenly talking about it in 2026 is that Apple only added support for it in iOS 18, which came out in fall 2024. Once iPhone users were covered, rich messaging across both major platforms became possible for the first time - and that's what's driving all the noise. The difference between SMS and RCS is genuinely significant. Instead of a plain text from a string of random numbers, your customers see your actual brand name, logo, and a verified badge. Instead of compressed, blurry product images, they see high-res photos. Instead of a link, they get tappable buttons - Shop Now, Track Your Order - right inside the message thread. It's a real upgrade in how branded and trustworthy your texts look and feel. But there's an approval process, a waitlist with no guaranteed timeline, a country availability limitation, and a few things about how to measure performance that most platforms aren't mentioning. And none of it matters if your SMS foundation isn't solid first. In this episode I break down what RCS actually is, what it takes to get set up, what it genuinely does better than SMS, and my honest take on whether it's worth pursuing right now. ✨ In this episode, you'll learn: Why RCS isn't new - and what actually changed to make everyone talk about it now What the difference between an SMS and an RCS message actually looks and feels like as a consumer What the approval process involves and why the timeline is unpredictable Why RCS has an automatic SMS fallback - and why that matters for your reach Which 10 countries RCS is currently available in Why RCS delivery reporting is actually more reliable than SMS - and what that means for your data The trust and anti-phishing benefits that come with being a verified RCS sender Why click rate isn't the right metric to compare RCS and SMS performance How to think about RCS as a layer on top of SMS - not a replacement for it This isn't hype you should ignore. But it's not an emergency switch either. Get your fundamentals right first - and then RCS can be a genuinely good next layer. Work with Joy Joya: https://joyjoya.com

Mackenzie Shirilla killed two young men. A lot of people, including the courts believe that a part of Mackenzie's motive was her longterm, hostile relationship with Dominic that he, supposedly, wanted out of. Mackenzie and her parents deny any intent at all. They go so far as to allege that Mackenzie and Dominic's relationship wasn't perfect but it also wasn't that bad. We will be chronologically recounting their fights throughout the years and leading up to the murders. 30k pages of texts between Mackenzie and Dominic from 2020 to July 2022.
