Send Bidemi a Text Message!Across Apple's wearables, GLP-1 drugs, academia's AI pivot, IP fights, new crime patterns, and the dating-app slump, there is one through-line: resilient trust. In this episode, host Bidemi Ologunde maps how innovation and human values can move in step—arguing for stronger privacy rules (especially for biometrics), smarter AI oversight (think “FDA for algorithms”), real digital literacy, and business models that earn a social license to operate. It's a playbook for policymakers, tech leaders, academics, and the rest of us to design for well-being, not just engagement—so our tools save lives, our institutions keep credibility, and our relationships (online or offline) stay authentic.Support the show
Send me a Text Message! In this episode, Mike breaks down one of the most important — and misunderstood — principles of manifestation: you don't get what you want… you get what you expect. He dives deep into how expectations are wired into your nervous system, why your ego, subconscious, and body are the same thing, and how negative expectations sabotage success even when you're doing everything “right.” This is a masterclass in energetic alignment and internal reprogramming — straight from the front lines of personal evolution.Key TakeawaysYou Don't Get What You Want — You Get What You Expect Until your nervous system believes it's safe to receive, it will sabotage anything that doesn't feel familiar.Your Nervous System, Ego, and Subconscious Are All the Same Thing They're just different words for the same internal wiring — the filter through which you create reality.Your Nervous System Was Formed Before You Could Choose Childhood beliefs and family patterns shaped your expectations — and they still run the show.Self-Sabotage Is Just Expectation Misalignment If you want more than you expect to receive, you'll subconsciously push it away when it shows up.The Work Is in the Body Shadow work, meditation, future embodiment — these aren't mindset tools, they're nervous system tools.Notable Quotes“You can't have whatever you want, because you get what you expect.”“Your nervous system, your ego, and your subconscious are all the same things.”“If you're used to struggling financially, your nervous system literally wants to keep you there because it knows how to operate there.”“What I haven't done a great job of is, what do you want? And then dig a layer deeper and say, listen — what do you really expect to have?”“In the battle between your wants and your expectations, your expectations will win every time.”Call to Action
Send Kris and Rob a Text Message! The Lindbergh Kidnapping: Timeline, Evidence, Theories—And the Aviator's Secret Children The 1932 Lindbergh kidnapping changed U.S. law and still sparks debate. We walk through the timeline from the nursery note to the fatal discovery, examine the money trail and the famed forensic ladder analysis, and revisit the Bruno Richard Hauptmann verdict alongside competing theories (lone actor vs. accomplices, the Fische box explanation, and inside-help rumors). We close with a careful look at the aviator's later-revealed secret children in Germany—what's DNA-confirmed and what remains unverified. What you'll learn • Key locations, dates, and the ransom hand-off to “Cemetery John” • How marked gold certificates and the “wooden witness” shaped the case • Why the Federal Kidnapping Act (the “Lindbergh Law”) mattered • Which theories persist—and why historians still argue If you enjoy historically grounded, non-sensational true crime, follow and rate the show—it helps others find us. Send Krystal a Text Message.Stepping away from something you've built for over seven years isn't easy. After 500+ episodes and countless hours behind the microphone, I've made the difficult decision to take my first-ever break from this podcast for the remainder of 2025.The journey of content creation has been incredibly rewarding, but also challenging in ways I hadn't anticipated when I started this adventure. Week after week, month after month, year after year—this community has grown alongside me, and I'm profoundly grateful for every single one of you who's tuned in, whether you discovered the show last week or have been here since day one. This pause isn't a goodbye; it's a necessary step back to reevaluate, recalibrate, and potentially reimagine what comes next. While no new episodes will be released during this hiatus, our extensive library remains at your fingertips. When you think of red wine from Piedmont, you likely think of Nebbiolo or Barbera, but did you know that for a long time, Grignolino was the preferred red wine from the region? Wait, you've never heard of Grignolino before?!? Well, that is the perfect reason to go on this Italian Wine Adventure! A light red wine from maybe the most revered wine region in Italy, Grignolino is a wine some are saying is the hidden gem of Piedmont. The name of the wine comes from the fact that it has more seeds than most wine grapes, which doesn't sound important but actually is when you consider that tannins and some flavors come from the seeds themselves. It is a great red wine to chill, and the combination of crunchy red fruit and grippy tannins is an experience to help you stretch your wine horizons. We also talk to listener Justin about his name for our wine tribe and we talk about wine in French prisons in our Wine in the News This Week section. You fought so hard to become a mom, but why doesn't every moment feel magical? Parenting after infertility comes with hidden challenges that most people never talk about. In this episode of Motherhood Intended, Jacqueline opens up about the invisible baggage many moms carry after infertility treatments, loss, NICU stays, or surrogacy. She shares her own story of bringing home her children after years of heartbreak, and why the pressure to feel grateful every second can actually make motherhood harder. With honesty and encouragement, she reveals how infertility trauma doesn't just vanish once you become a parent, it simply changes shape. You'll hear why it's normal to feel anxious, tired, and imperfect even after your miracle arrives, and how you can give yourself permission to show up as a real mom instead of a “perfect” one. This conversation will reassure you that gratitude and grief can coexist, and that being human doesn't make you ungrateful...it makes you a mom.Questions answered in this episode:What does parenting after infertility really feel like, and why do joy and grief often coexist? How can NICU trauma, recurrent loss, or IVF shape postpartum anxiety and hyper-vigilance?What is gratitude guilt and how do you break the cycle when hard days hit?Which simple grounding tool helps calm the “what ifs” in real time? How can you build your village and give yourself permission to be an imperfect, amazing mom?Send us a Text Message with questions, suggestions, or to just say hello!Support the showIf you're interested in helping give the absolute greatest gift to deserving intended parents, learn more about becoming a surrogate (and earn up to $650 just for taking the first few simple steps!): share.conceiveabilities.com/hello12

Send me a Text Message! In the last episode we ended with the question, "What is righteousness?" Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. So what is righteousness? That's a key question right? I know what food is and I hunger for it. I know what success is, I have hungered for it, along with friendship and affirmation. But what is this righteousness that we should hunger for? We're going to deepen our definition of righteousness as we look at the beatitudes as not just a listing of eight different blessings, but as a pathway, a process for finding a life that thrives, a Kingdom-Life. So are you hungry for life? If you are, let's dive in!

Send me a Text Message! The beatitude for today is, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be satisfied." So the question that I will ask us is "Are you living a satisfied life?" Are you satisfied with what you have? But for the purpose of the notes here, I'm going to print the prayer I close with, just in case you want to pray for more than you have. It's a prayer from A. W. Tozer; the response of a heart with a deep longing for God. O God, I have tasted Your goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, the Triune God, I want to want you. I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Your glory, I pray that I may know You indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul ‘Rise up my love and come away.' Then give me the grace to rise and follow You, up from this misty lowland where I have wandered so long. In Jesus' Name, Amen. In today's episode, Todd dives into the shocking evidence revealed by prosecutors in the case of Charlie Kirk's alleged assassin. Despite the immediate spin from some corners of social media claiming this was the work of a “MAGA extremist,” newly released text messages tell a very different story. The accused killer's own words paint the picture of a young man who had turned sharply to the political left, even clashing with his conservative Republican family.Todd walks listeners through the disturbing text exchanges between the alleged shooter and his transgender roommate-partner. These messages show the assassin plotting, justifying his actions as retaliation against “hatred,” and struggling with the fallout once his family quickly suspected his involvement. The evidence reveals not a conservative activist, but a leftist radical whose ideology fed his violence.Todd also challenges those who rushed to blame conservatives for Kirk's murder, reminding us that evil individuals can emerge from any group—but the real question is whether an ideology fuels violent behavior. He argues the rhetoric of the radical left, which demonizes conservatives as Nazis and threats to democracy, creates a climate that justifies violence.Later, Todd plays a fiery Senate exchange between Senator Cory Booker (“Spartacus”) and Kash Patel over the Epstein files, exposing the political theater and hypocrisy on display.Authentic, unapologetic, and always conservative—not bitter—this episode confronts the lies of the media and the dangerous propaganda of the left, while reminding listeners that the real fight is at the ballot box, in schools, and in the culture.Freedom Marketplace: https://freedommarketplace.net The Stack: https://www.toddhuffshow.com/stack-of-stuff Email: todd@toddhuffshow.comPhone: 317.210.2830Follow us on…Instagram: @toddhuffshowFacebook: The Todd Huff ShowTwitter: @toddhuffshowLinkedIn: The Todd Huff ShowTikTok: @toddhuffshowSupport Our Partners:https://www.toddhuffshow.com/partners Show Sponsors: https://www.mypillow.com/todd Promo Code: TODD Red, White, & Brand – Text TODD at 317-210-2830 for a 10% discount.SolTea – Heart health made simple. Send me a Text Message!Jesus' mountain-top message is a blueprint for a life that thrives. And as I've been studying it this time around, I've also run into a number of pastors and theologians who think of the Sermon on the Mount as basic training for people heading into a spiritual battle. Knowing what his followers were going to face in the days and years to come Jesus took them on the mountain and said, “This is how you fight my battles.” Blessed are the meek. Not much like any battle strategy we'd consider on our own, but I believe it's crucial to understanding how we need to respond to the spiritual battle in our days. And there is a spiritual battle taking place! So the question for this episode is, "Are you seeking meek?"

Send Krystal a Text Message. What happens when you actually reply to my welcome emails? Your questions might turn into an entire podcast episode! That's precisely what happened when a new subscriber sent in some thought-provoking questions about content creation that I knew would benefit everyone in our audience.Starting your content journey can feel overwhelming, particularly when faced with decisions like whether to begin with audio-only or video podcasting. Drawing from my experience of publishing over 1,500 episodes, I share why I recommend starting with whatever format makes you most comfortable. I began with just a $20 microphone (which now sits on my mantle as a reminder of how far I've come), and there's no shame in starting simple. The key is getting started and building confidence before adding complexity. We also dive into crucial strategic questions, such as when to start monetizing your content (hint: make small asks from day one), what consistency really means for different creators, and whether platforms like Patreon are worth exploring. I share candid insights about why I've never used Patreon myself but know creators who've found great success with it. Additionally, I share my favorite content planning system—the PrepEm method—that helps creators integrate content into their lives rather than letting content creation dominate their schedule.Whether you're just starting out or looking to elevate your existing content strategy, this episode offers practical advice without the fluff. If your structure is perfect on paper, but your story still falls flat, this might be what you're missing.Have you ever structured a story with all the right pieces, but something still feels flat? You check all the boxes on paper:✅ Inciting incident✅ Progressive complications✅ Turning point✅ Crisis✅ Climax✅ ResolutionAnd yet it still falls flat. They mostly align, probably, you're pretty sure. But somehow, they're not working together the way they should. The turning point doesn't pack the right punch. The crisis doesn't feel devastating enough, even though all is technically lost. The climax doesn't feel like a cathartic payoff, but a gentle womp-womp.All the pieces are there. So what went wrong? Here's the thing: in order for the six elements of story to work, you have to understand your character's goal. Most writers have a vague sense of what their protagonist generally wants. But that's not enough. You need to know specifically the thing that they want—and the thing they don't want.So in this episode, I'm putting the goal under the microscope. You'll learn:Why it's not enough to know what your character wantsA super-simple framework for a character's goal (seriously, it's ridiculously easy)How that framework summarizes the meaning of the entire storyAnd how the goal glues all six elements of story together, driving the entire story from inciting incident to resolutionWithout a clearly defined goal, all the structure in the world won't make your story come alive. With it, everything else falls neatly into place.Dig deeper with these related episodes:Inciting incident (qualities & traps)Progressive complications (qualities)Progressive complications (traps)Content genresSend me a Text Message!Support the showRate, Review, & Follow on Apple Podcasts "I love Alice and Your Next Draft." Send me a Text Message!Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth! Be honest, when is the last time you prayed for meek? Are you seeking meek? What comes to mind when you paint a picture of meek? Well meek is weak right? Blessed are the weak for they shall become the doormats of life and everyone will walk all over them. In fact Webster defines meek as TOO submissive. Blessed are the spineless, for they never stick up for their rights. Blessed are those who never take a stand. Webster calls them spiritless and deficient in courage. But Jesus calls them blessed.Perhaps as much or maybe even more so than a heart that leans toward mourning today, we need a heart that leans towards meek. But maybe, meek is a bit different from what we think? Maybe it really is true, mighty are the meek.
Dr. Ravi Kamepalli made a startling realization that changed everything: bacteria aren't the enemy. As both an infectious disease specialist and wound care physician, he witnessed firsthand how traditional medicine's war on microbes was failing patients catastrophically. In this profound conversation, he unveils his revolutionary "disease triangles" framework that connects our immune system, lipid metabolism, and microbiome in ways that transform how we understand healing. The statistics he shares will shock you: diabetic foot amputations have a higher five-year mortality rate than breast cancer. While diabetes costs healthcare systems $237 billion annually compared to cancer's $80 billion, we're attacking symptoms instead of root causes. Dr. Kamepalli explains his concept of "energy toxicity" - how excess stored energy triggers inflammatory cascades that turn our own immune systems against us.Through his personal journey of losing 50 pounds and dramatically reducing his LP(a) levels, he demonstrates that supposedly "genetic" markers are actually nutritionally modifiable. His approach integrates metabolic interventions with wound care, using continuous glucose monitoring, food logging, and remote patient tracking to address the underlying metabolic dysfunction that prevents healing. This isn't just about wound care - it's about reimagining medicine itself. Dr. Kamepalli advocates for moving beyond "mass medicine mindset" toward personalized, n-of-one healthcare that empowers patients with tools, tracking, and understanding rather than simply prescribing interventions. His vision extends from revolutionizing American healthcare to building sustainable systems in rural India.BIG IDEA"We cannot kill bacteria and keep the humans alive - we need to learn how to survive together, and that survival depends on fixing our metabolic dysfunction, not declaring war on microbes."Dr. Ravi Kamepalli Contact InfoWebsite: https://nobadbugs.com/Social Media: @WoundPhysicianWebsite: ColigoMed.comSociety for Metabolic Health Practitioners SMHP.orgSend Dr. Ovadia a Text Message. When we think of grief, we often think of death. But grief can take many forms, whether it's the end of a relationship, a change in health, or simply realizing life doesn't look the way we hoped. Yet most of us were never taught how to navigate it.Instead, we're left feeling overwhelmed, broken, and pressured to “move on.” The truth is, grief is part of being human. It touches our minds, bodies, and spirits, and it doesn't follow tidy stages or timelines. Without understanding this, we risk judging ourselves and suffering more than we need to.In this episode, master certified life coach Krista St. Germain shares how the sudden loss of her husband transformed her understanding of grief. Together, we explore why grief isn't one-size-fits-all and the practical tools that can help you ride the waves when it feels unbearable. Send me a Text Message!Hey Folks, for those of you who download early, sorry this is coming a little bit late. It's the message from yesterday (Sunday) on Matthew 6 and it's all about fasting. Fasting focuses our hunger on Jesus. Fasting is a humble cry for Jesus. Fasting is a hopeful cry for more. But I also believe that there is a sense of urgency that fasting brings, that is desperately needed in our times. We need a heart that urgently desires more God, now, for us and others! We are hungry for more, sometimes we just don't realize it.

Send me a Text Message! (I can't directly respond, but I can answer questions and share comments in upcoming episodes! As we see the fruit of wickedness unfold each day in our nation I have to truths to give balm to the soul and sobering perspective as we live in our small window of time. In Job 21:14-15 Job says of the wicked: "They say to God, ‘Depart from us! We do not desire the knowledge of your ways. What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? And what profit do we get if we pray to him?'"All of our days are numbered. Yours. Mine. Our children. The wicked. The difference is that when our day comes and our breath is cut off, we will be with God. Fully healed whole justified.
