Warehouse 13 Fancast Lead Agent Shannon loves her zombies and Agent Carolyn loves her food trucks while Janitor SP is worried about the mole on this face - thanks Sallah. The Agents review and rewatch the Warehouse 13 season 3 tenth episode S3E10 "Insatiable." The Agents review the episode, enjoy the 15 year anniversary of the premiere of Warehouse 13, talk about the Donner Party, discover who would go to third base with Myka, enjoy the great episode dialogue, speculate on how spending time with Allison Scagliotti would go and take many tangents including: how Shannon was right about Fringe, how the Orphan Black-Expanse wager is going, how the agents HATE dark scene filming, terrible movies and the House Of Dragons. The hosts also run down all the artifacts of the episode and give some nods to the episode creative team. Stay after the credits for some bonus content. "I am beyond grateful for the growth we've experienced since Ghostwriter was founded in 2015,” says Founder and CEO Chris Bragg. Founded in 2015, Ghostwriter Music has placed music in many of the most anticipated film campaigns, advertisements, video games, and TV promos in modern media. Honored with a 2019 Music + Sound Association (MASA) Award for Best Record or Adaptation in a Film Trailer, and in 2020 for Best Original Composition in a Film Trailer, and a 2020 Mark Award from the Production Music Association (PMA) for Best Use in a Theatrical Trailer, the company continues to expand with creative and efficient sonic solutions for an expansive roster of high-profile clientele. "I am beyond grateful for the growth we've experienced since Ghostwriter was founded in 2015,” says Founder and CEO Chris Bragg. “We've built an amazing team over the past six years with some of the hardest working people in the industry, and I'm so excited for our future!" Among the first companies to offer custom music composition for trailers, Ghostwriter is the go-to source for music and sound design that highlights upcoming feature films and television programmings from studios like Amazon, Apple, FX, HBO, Hulu, and Netflix, across all mediums of advertising. Recent titles Ghostwriter has worked on include: “Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard,” “Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” “RAYA and the Last Dragon,” “Cruella,” “Cherry,” “Army of the Dead,” “Nevers,” “Mare of Eastown,” “Ted Lasso,” “Borat 2,” “Mitchells vs. Machines,” “The Unholy,” “Tomorrow War,” “Quiet Place 2,” “Forever Purge,” “Call of Duty,” “Soul,” and “World of Warcraft.” The company retains major film studio clients, including Marvel, Disney, Sony, Paramount, 20th Century Studios, LEGO, Warner Bros., and Universal Pictures. Ever-expanding, the company also encompasses a publishing division, Astral Music, and Mantis, the firm's video games division. Ghostwriter Music is now bringing Hollywood projects to Nashville. With offices, a mix stage, and full post-production capabilities, the company's the founder/CEO Chris Bragg and COO Travis Michaud are spearheading the new location. Nashville's extraordinary pool of diverse musical talent is a crucial factor in Ghostwriter Music's expansion, as is a wealth of creative resources, recording facilities, and qualified associates, including the company's most recent hire, a Belmont College graduate. The Nashville location will concentrate on catalog growth and new artist development. In contrast, the Los Angeles location— managed by Bryan Nguyen, Partner, and Director, Creative Sync, and Paige Mount, Producer and Sync Manager—remains focused on custom music production. A Serious Disc Agreement is the only "serious" podcast on the Australian Internet about "Movie Disc Culture."Alexei Toliopoulos (Finding Drago, Total Reboot) and Blake Howard (One Heat Minute) are expanding their IMPRINT COMPANION podcast to include the best physical media releases worldwide. For this episode, we're discussing Umbrella Entertainment's SUNBURNT SCREENS label so far, THE LAST WAVE, DINGO, SUNDAY TOO FAR AWAY, WE OF THE NEVER NEVER, and BREAKER MORANT. THE LAST WAVE (1977) "Dream is a shadow of something real." Chris Lee (David Gulpilil)Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Peter Weir (Oscar ® nominated director of Picnic at Hanging Rock, Gallipoli and Witness) explores a startling world on the brink of apocalypse in The Last Wave, a time and place where Mother Nature and human nature are destined to collide in catastrophic disaster. When lawyer David Burton (Richard Chamberlain, The Thorn Birds) is assigned a case to defend a group of indigenous Australian men, he is unprepared for the nightmares and dreamscapes ahead. Accused of murdering one of their own, the men stand trial amidst suspicious circumstances and, as Burton becomes plagued by unsettling visions, he is drawn to the mysterious Chris Lee (AFI Award winner David Gulpilil, Storm Boy, The Tracker) for answers to his torment. As the erratic climate turns dangerous, Burton senses a greater power at play, where tribal customs and the ancient ideas of Dreamtime may be more than just an ominous warning. Featuring atmospheric cinematography by Oscar ® winner Russell Boyd (Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World), The Last Wave is a haunting journey into the depths of the unknown, where dreams and nightmares conspire as one.Special Features: Interview featurettes with: Lead Actor Richard Chamberlain Producer Jim McElroy + Director of Photography Russell Boyd + David Stratton on The Last WaveTrailers From Hell: The Last Wave with Brian Trenchard-SmithEdit from the 1980 documentary David Gulpilil: Walkabout to HollywoodTheatrical Trailer - GalleryDINGO Late jazz great Miles Davis made his only acting appearance in this film about a jazz trumpeter who dares to realize his musical dreams in the Australian outback. Dingo stars Colin Friels as John "Dingo" Anderson, a part-time musician and dingo trapper living in the bush who, after seeing his hero, legendary trumpeter Billy Cross (Miles Davis) on tour, longs to travel to Paris and play with the finest American jazz musicians. Frustrated by playing half-rate music in dusty dancehalls, John's dream is compromised by his love for his new family. Dingo must now decide whether he to make the supreme sacrifice for his music. Featuring a stunning, award-winning Miles Davis soundtrack (one of Davis' last recordings before his death), Dingo is directors Rolf de Heer's (Bad Boy Bubby, The Tracker) cinematic ode to the power of music.Special Features: Interview featurettes with: Director Rolf de Heer and lead actress Helen Buday Rushes Reel: The Desert Runway with audio commentary by Rolf de Heer Theatrical Trailers: Dingo, The Tracker, Bad Boy BubbySUNDAY TOO FAR AWAYJack Thompson is Foley, the best shearer on every station for miles around. Sunday Too Far Away is Foley's story of sweat-soaked days and rum-soaked nights, of bloody two-fisted punch ups... of scab labour brought in during the shearers strike of '56 and of the poor old bastard who runs the place: the cocky (farmer) who is terrified that one slip of the shears will render his prize ram good for nothing but mint sauce.A classic of Australian cinema and the film that launched the South Australian Film Corporation, Sunday Too Far Away now appears as part of the Sunburnt Screens sub label.Special Features: The Making of Sunday - archival TV documentary from 1975 Jack Thompson AM in conversation with David Wenham, post-screening of Sunday Too Far Away, recorded at GOMA, 2019*Original World Premiere programme from 1975Stills GalleryTheatrical TrailerWE OF THE NEVER NEVERFrom one of Australia's most treasured novels comes an exquisitely beautiful Australian classic based on the true story of Jeannie Gunn - a woman who battled the odds as a station master's wife in outback Australia. For the love of her new husband (Arthur Dignam, The Devil's Playground), Jeannie (AFI Award Winner Angela Punch-McGregor, The Chant Of Jimmie Blacksmith) abandons a high society city life to trek into the vast and wild heart of Australia - where wives are seldom seen, and even less accepted. Enduring isolation, hardships and battling against the sexist and racial prejudice of the Australian outback environment, Jeannie strives to win the friendship and respect of those about her. Shot on location in Australia's breathtaking Northern Territory, directed by Igor Auzins (Coolangatta Gold), featuring an epic film score by Award-Winning composer Peter Best (The Picture Show Man), and also starring John Jarratt (The Last Outlaw), We Of The Never Never tells the inspiring true story of a woman overcoming all for love.Special Features: Back To The Never Never (23 mins) Interview featurette with co-producer John B. Das könnte jetzt die - bisher - kultlastigste Episode sein. Verdammt lang her, ich weiß. In weiß. Na? Every artist deals with it in their career—the difference between what they envision, and what they actually create. How to deal? There's a well-known video of "This American Life" host Ira Glass sharing his thoughts about what he calls "The Gap." It's the difference between your taste (what you know to be good work) and your talent (what it is you're actually able to create, which is often not as good as you'd like it to be). This week, on the first main "Radio Film School" episode of 2016, we dive into this issue. You'll hear from Sam Mestman, CEO of We Make Movies; Ryan Booth, filmmaker, DP and creator of the music performance web series "Serial Box Presents"; and Patrick Moreau, co-founder of Stillmotion and LearnStory.org. If you've ever faced "the Gap," this is the episode for you."Shooting Sunshine" ReturnsWe also have the next installment of my "Shooting Sunshine" segment. The behind the scenes look at the making of "Little Mixed Sunshine", the first episode in my short film documentary series about bi-racial people. In it, I answer the question: "Why is this film STILL NOT DONE?!" Support Our Sponsor and You Support the ShowA huge way you can support the show is by checking out our sponsors. TJ wraps up the week for you with a look at which films did well last weekend, including some of his disappointments regarding the box office shakedowns. And of course there was a lot of news coming out of the weekend from the San Diego Comic Con, including a new ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Theatrical Trailer, Joss Whedon revealed the title of the upcoming ‘Avengers' film to be ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron', and Zack Snyder announced a ‘Superman' ‘Batman' crossover film. The sad news of course in TJ's eyes is that it will yet again reboot the ‘Batman' universe. Cobie Smulders will be appearing on the upcoming TV show ‘SHIELD' set in the Marvel Cinematic universe. ‘Riddick' gets a "red band" trailer. ‘Captain America 2' will feature a significant shift in the Marvel Universe, plus, TJ is not too happy with the proposed cinematic style mentioned by the directors. And man, 2015 is looking like a crazy year for films! We also have an upcoming ‘Peanuts' film based on the beloved comic strip by Charles Schulz, it's going to be 3D and CGI. That doesn't sound like a winner to TJ. And of course, you'll want to tune in to hear about what you might like to see in theaters this weekend!
