Start with Gratitude, and move through Resilience, Authenticity, Self-belief, and Purpose. Define Your Value Proposition – Take 15 minutes to write down what sets you apart professionally. Ask yourself: What problems do I solve? What transformation do I offer? Practice Ruthless Consistency – Choose one small habit (like journaling or posting weekly on LinkedIn) and commit to it for 30 days. Consistency creates credibility. Turn Fear into Fuel – Identify one fear that's holding you back and take a small, bold action in defiance of it—whether it's reaching out for a speaking gig or going live on social media. Reflect on Your Personal Brand Daily – Ask: What message did I send to the world today through my words, actions, and presence? Align your behavior with your brand. Final Thought: Confidence isn't something you're born with—it's something you build through clarity, courage, and consistency. Tara reminds us that the journey to becoming your best self starts with embracing who you already are. When you lead with gratitude and act in alignment with your purpose, fear loses its power. Whether you're growing a brand, launching a business, or just trying to level up in life, remember this: the most magnetic leaders are the ones who believe in themselves first. Transformation begins the moment you decide you're worth the effort. What listeners have to say: “Her energy is fire! What's the cure for fear? Fearlessness? Avoidance? Rationalization? The answer is…none of the above. Fear is something we all experience, and even though it dresses itself up as different things (anger, diminishing or attacking ourselves), the same thing happens. When we're afraid, we make an enemy of everyone - even ourselves. We become internally gridlocked so we can't problem-solve. We fall into whatever reactive pattern we learned early on to cope with our fears. Thankfully, there is a better remedy which we all possess. The only true solution for fear is presence. We have to locate ourselves within the fear and move it through our bodies with something as simple as wiggling the body a bit. What are some simple fear-melters that will allow us to not be ruled by fear? How do we create even the tiniest doorway to presence? In this episode, we talk about simple but profound tools for shifting from fear into flow. Things You'll Learn In This Episode -How fear works Why does fear incapacitate us internally and why do we get so tripped up when we're afraid? -From gridlocked to “goldfish” Fear has a way of internally incapacitating us. What simple exercises can we use to interrupt this pattern? -How to befriend yourself through fear When we are fearful, we tend to abandon ourselves and disconnect from others. How do we use presence to be softer towards ourselves and create doorways to connection? Trump got shot. Fist bumping in the air as he walked away alive, for his supporters this has left an unforgettable image of him as a survivor and leader. For me at least, this has made it all the more real the 2024 election is coming and brought up a lot of fear. While I've been strategically planning for months around preparing for a potential Trump administration, I didn't let myself feel the fear of that possibility myself until I saw the video of Trump walking away with his fist raised after being shot. I immediately felt in my gut what this moment in history will mean for his supporters. For the people I focus on supporting in my financial empowerment work -- immigrants and heart-centered dreamers, visionaries, and entrepreneurs -- learning how to transform fear into faith couldn't be more important in these times. The biggest danger we face is losing hope -- of what better future is possible. Tapping into faith is one way we can start to prepare for whatever is to come. So that we can continue to be in a place of expansion and abundance and take steps toward building a better future - for ourselves, our families, our communities, and a more welcoming world. >> In this episode, learn a step-by-step process I have started to go through personally to begin to transmute that fear into faith, and how you can do the same. >> We're not meant to do this alone. That's why I've recently started a new free private community group for heart-centered entrepreneurs and immigrants, called HOME, to dig into financial empowerment topics together no matter what's going on in the world. Join at https://www.internationalempowerment.com/freegroup Members get to connect with like-minded individuals and receive early access to & behind the scenes episodes of the Finance Business & Purpose podcast + request episodes on whatever topics they need most.

That's why I don't like the idea of always being confident to take action. How can you be confident if you've never done the thing before? Confidence is the result of action, not the fuel of action." - Akshay Nanavati No Emotion Is Either Good or Bad "There's no bad emotions, there's no good emotions, there's only emotions. It's the label of bad, the assignment of the judgment of the emotion that causes more problems than the emotion itself. The second you accept the "isness" of the emotion and become aware of it without deeming it bad, then you can use any emotion as fuel to drive you into something better." - Akshay Nanavati The Power of Nature "Nature makes you realize how small you are, but at the same time, you feel all powerful out there because simply by stepping in that playground to control your reality, to be there, to survive, to thrive out there, you feel more powerful than you've ever felt. It's an experience of both control and surrender, and ego and humility" - Akshay Nanavati Links From Today's Show Akshay Nanavati FEARVANA: The Revolutionary Science of How to Turn Fear into Health, Wealth and Happiness by Akshay Nanavati Dave Asprey Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl BREATHE: Breath & Wellness Program - 33% off with code "PODCAST33" 410 Mark Divine | Positive Neurodiversity: Kokoro Spirit, The 5 Mountains For Inner Peace, & How To Fulfill Your Potential Black Hawk Down Braveheart 411 Gay Hendricks | The Genius Zone: The Breakthrough Process to End Negative Thinking and Live in True Creativity Finding Joe 565 Pavel Stuchlik | Connecting Back With Spirit: Dark Retreats, Iboga + EMF Detox (Your Guide To Self-Transformation) The Green Mile Akshay Nanavati on The Dr. Drew Podcast Akshay Nanavati: Find strength in fear 589 Alex Charfen | The Freedom Life: How To Program Yourself For Success In Mind, Body, Spirit + Soul 201 Finding Mastery: Micheal Gervais Support Akshay's journey The Hero's Journey: Joseph Campbell on His Life and Work by Joseph Campbell 555 Mike Dillard | Richer Every Day: How To WIN The War on Your Money + Mind Josh's Trusted Products | Up To 40% Off Shop All Products Biohacking BREATHE - 33% off with the code “PODCAST33” SaunaSpace - 10% off with the code "JOSH10" PLUNGE - $150 off with the code “WELLNESSFORCE" SiPhox - 10% off with code "JOSH" BON CHARGE - 15% off with the code "JOSH15" SpectraSculpt - 15% off with the code "JOSH15" Defender Shield - Save 10% with "TRENT10" Neuvana - Save 15% with "WELLNESSFORCE" Supplements Organifi - 20% off with the code ‘WELLNESSFORCE' MANNA Vitality - 20% off with the code "JOSH20" LiftMode - Save 10% with "JOSH10" Adapt Naturals - 15% off with code "WELLNESSFORCE" MitoZen - 10% off with the code “WELLNESSFORCE” Activation Products - 20% off with the code “WELLNESSFORCE” BiOptimizers - 10% off with the code "JOSH10" Lightbody Total Eye Health - 20% off with "JOSH20" at checkout. Since then, by embracing his demons, he has built a global business, run many ultramarathons including a 24-hour run and 167-mile run across Liberia to help build a school, spent 10 days in darkness and isolation, skied 350 miles across the world's 2nd largest icecap for a month and become 1 of only 26 people to ski up a remote glacier in Antarctica. Despite 4 biological defects including a blood disorder that 2 doctors told him would kill him in boot camp, he is now a sponsored athlete and is currently training for a 110-day, 1700-mile, solo, never-before-accomplished crossing of Antarctica. Combining his life experience with years of research in science and spirituality, he wrote the book “Fearvana," about which the Dalai Lama said, “Fearvana inspires us to look beyond our own agonizing experiences and find the positive side of our lives.” All the profits from the book are going toward charity. Akshay is now on a mission to help our human family fall in love with suffering in order to create a life of greater meaning, purpose, joy, and fulfillment. There are moments in life when we feel helpless or overwhelmed - like we're not good enough, or we lost our way and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Fortunately, this very feeling has information contained in it that can lead us to master the very thing that used to give us fear.
If you let it, fear will RUN your life into the freaking ground. You see, the truth is we all like to think that we're immune from fear. We say we're not scared to be in a relationship, build the business of our dreams, or spend time with our own thoughts. But how often do you hear about people trying to control these very things? They boss their partner around. Micromanage their business. Or organise every moment of their lives to be doing something. That's because control > comes from fear. And fear > comes from a lack of clarity. But when you're able to get clear, the fear starts to melt away and you're left feeling completely empowered! Which is what we're chatting about in this new podcast episode. Fix your fear today! Next time you're scared or controlling something, ask yourself these three questions: Where am I afraid? Where am I not trusting? Where am I not clear?
Fear is a powerful emotion. We feel things deeply and intensely whenever we are faced with things that scares us. And often, the things we care about the most are the ones that scare us the most. In today's episode we'll discuss how anybody can turn fear into faith and worry into triumph! However before any of that can happen one shift must be made so you can manage the ups and downs that's sure to come.
For b2b founders, fear is often a strong motivating factor. The thought of failing, of not being able to provide for their families, or of being embarrassed in front of their peers can be enough to push them to succeed. However, it's important to channel that fear into positive energy and focus it on achieving business goals. Episode Highlight: 03:51 We all know deep down inside what our thing is but sometimes we spend a lifetime remembering what it is because I think that what it is that we love is something we've been doing from childhood a lot of times, a version of it. So like with me I've always been the biggest giver, the biggest giver ever like why do I love to give gifts? I love to give gifts number one because I love people's response to gifts. Ep 78: How to Turn Fear Into a Strength | Win the Day podcast
“If you don't choose a worthy struggle, struggle will choose you. And when it does, it will do far worse damage than the pain you will inevitably feel on the journey to greatness.” ― Akshay Nanavati, FEARVANA: The Revolutionary Science of How to Turn Fear into Health, Wealth and HappinessThis week I'm joined by United States Marine veteran, speaker, entrepreneur, ultra runner, and author Akshay Nanavati. Akshay is a man who has lived on both sides of the habit spectrum throughout his life. He's battled drug addiction, PTSD, alcoholism, and survivors' guilt from his time serving in Iraq. Since then, he has built a global business, run ultramarathons like a 24-hour run and a 50 miler around a cul-de-sac, written a book endorsed by the Dalai Lama, conducted humanitarian work in post-conflict zones, spent seven days in darkness, silence, and isolation, and explored the most hostile environments on the planet, from mountains to caves to polar icecaps.Having explored the extreme edges of the human condition, both within and without, Akshay has figured out exactly what it takes to tap into the limitlessness of the human potential and unleash the inner warrior that lives within us all.Fearvana Instagram | WebsiteSupport Consequence of Habit Subscribe: Apple Podcast | SpotifyCheck us out: Instagram | Twitter | Website
Have you felt fear, guilt, anxiety, upset, frustration, and have no idea how to deal with it? Should you hide it? Should you embrace it? Should you let it out? Akshay Nanavati, United States Marine veteran, speaker, entrepreneur, ultra runner, and author of FEARVANA: The Revolutionary Science of How to Turn Fear into Health, Wealth, and Happiness, has such destructive guilt when his buddy died in a war when he is not there. To make it worse, he wishes it was him that died and not his buddy. The guilt had haunted him for years and years until he realized he had to turn them into something positive, and his life changed. Listen to Akshay's stories, his journey, and his journey of making a change for himself. My new book Skip The Line is out! Make sure you get a copy wherever you get your new book!
