Comparativa Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV vs BMW 323i

¡Si me encantan! 4. Chevrolet Astro I (1967). No sé cómo llamarlo.

P603 Sachsenring AWZ.

THERE WASN'T A SINGLE TESLA AD DURING THE SUPER BOWL. HERE'S WHY - CNN - If you were to judge the US auto market by this year's Super Bowl ads, you'd think virtually all the cars for sale in America today are electric vehicles made by the world's long-established automakers. And you never would have heard of Tesla, the world's largest EV maker. - Commercials during the game reportedly cost $7 million for 30 seconds, and automakers bought a total of nearly 10 minutes of those time slots, not counting pre- and postgame ads. Those commercial minutes were almost all about EVs. - But now, Tesla is facing more competition than ever for buyers looking to go electric. Established automakers and other upstarts have dozens of new EV models in their pipelines, some of which are already for sale. So some experts think Tesla may have to change its no-ads policy eventually. - The car industry has incredibly deep pockets for ad spending and spends more on advertisements than any other product group. - Automakers invested $4 billion in television ads in the first nine months of 2021, according to Kantar. - Auto dealers spent another $625 million in that same period of 2021. - Many of the cars advertised during the Super Bowl are not yet available to US buyers — and won't be for months or even years. This makes another e-mobility funding from the infrastructure bill concrete. - to support production facilities for battery materials, battery cells and packs, recycling facilities, and second-life applications for batteries - the government of US President Joe Biden wants to ensure “that the United States can produce batteries and the materials they contain to increase economic competitiveness, energy independence and national security”. These silicon anode cells hold 73 percent more energy than Tesla's Model 3 cells by weight, and they take up 37 percent less volume. - Tesla's current Model 3 cells serve as a state-of-the-art comparison, and hold around 260 Wh/kg and 730 Wh/l, according to Enpower. The new Amprius cells are a significant step up, both in specific energy and energy density, holding 450 Wh/kg and 1,150 Wh/l – and the company says that the undisclosed number of cells just delivered to "an industry leader of a new generation of High-Altitude Pseudo Satellites" - The company says the silicon nanowires are rooted right into the substrate of the anode, so conductivity (and thus power) is high. It says the cell cycle life is "excellent" and "continually improving," although it doesn't put any numbers on it, and it also says the anode is the only part of the battery that changes; the rest can be produced using existing manufacturing methods and components.

Tritium Selected By US Army To Support Fleet Electrification Toyota begins European roll-out of Proace electric van Another Chinese Name To Remember - Jidu Auto Nio Will Disclose Strategy For Selling EVs In Norway Williams, Italdesign tout fast-to-market luxury EV platform   Show #1069   Good morning, good afternoon and good evening wherever you are in the world, welcome to EV News Daily for Saturday 1st May. It’s Martyn Lee here and I go through every EV story so you don't have to.   Thank you to MYEV.com for helping make this show, they’ve built the first marketplace specifically for Electric Vehicles. It’s a totally free marketplace that simplifies the buying and selling process, and help you learn about EVs along the way too.   HUAWEI BEATS APPLE TO THE PUNCH: SF5 ELECTRIC SUV "Chinese technology giant Huawei Technologies has the SF5 electric SUV developed in partnership with automotive brand Seres which will be sold and marketed by Huawei throughout its flagship stores across China." says The Driven: "The SF5 boasts two electric motors powering an all-wheel drive powertrain producing up to 543-horsepower and 820Nm of torque, and is able to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.68-seconds, and offers all-electric range for daily city driving of 180-kilometres (NEDC) in what is called “pure electric mode”.The fact that there is a “pure electric mode” also clarifies how the SF5 can boast a headline-grabbing extended range mode offering over 1,000-kilometres, though this press release avoids mention of the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine which acts as the range-extending generator"   https://thedriven.io/2021/04/27/huawei-beats-apple-to-the-punch-sf5-electric-suv-debuts-at-shanghai/   EIGHTY GIGAFACTORIES MAY BE INSUFFICIENT IF EV SALES ARE TO SURPASS ICE BY 2030S "The global electric vehicle industry could face a problem of battery capacity in the future, despite plans for 80 new EV battery gigafactories. A recent ABB report, in conjunction with the automotive intelligence unit of Ultima Media, highlights the role of automation in meeting demand as EVs are predicted to overtake ICE-powered vehicles by 2036." says AutocarPro:" Battery production capacity will likely need to outpace EV demand to meet the rising need for lithium-ion power in other sectors, along with mitigating supply and production constraints. The report estimates that global capacity for lithium-ion batteries will increase from 450 gigawatt hours (GWh) in 2020 to more than 2,850 GWh by 2030. The high price of EVs will increasingly create a barrier to further market penetration, reducing vehicle cost has therefore become a whole-industry focus. Given that the battery represents up to a third of vehicle costs, ABB is focused on solutions that improve battery manufacturing productivity."   https://www.autocarpro.in/news-international/eighty-gigafactories-may-be-insufficient-if-ev-sales-are-to-surpass-ice-by-2030s-79030   ELECTRIC CARS: WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ALL THE DEAD BATTERIES? "While electric vehicles (EVs) may not emit any carbon dioxide during their working lives, [Paul Anderson from University of Birmingham is] concerned about what happens when they run out of road - in particular what happens to the batteries." says BBC News: "EV batteries are larger and heavier than those in regular cars and are made up of several hundred individual lithium-ion cells, all of which need dismantling. They contain hazardous materials, and have an inconvenient tendency to explode if disassembled incorrectly. Recent proposals from the European Union would see EV suppliers responsible for making sure that their products aren't simply dumped at the end of their life, and manufacturers are already starting to step up to the mark."   https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-56574779   TRITIUM SELECTED BY US ARMY TO SUPPORT FLEET ELECTRIFICATION  Tritium, a global leader in DC fast charging technology for electric vehicles (EVs), today announced that it has been selected to participate in the Power Transfer Cohort, powered by the Army Applications Laboratory (AAL) in collaboration with Alion Science and Technology. This program focuses on advancing solutions that will support remote access, rapid recharging, and scalable infrastructure to help the Army move to electric vehicles EVs. Tritium is the only DC fast charging provider which was selected for the program.   Companies in the Cohort will work directly with the Next Generation Combat Vehicle Cross Functional Team (NGCV) and the Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) to identify and explore EV infrastructure technologies that can work across the diverse fleet of ~225,000 Army vehicles operating in the most demanding environments.   Each cohort focuses on solving a specific problem aligned to the Army’s 16-year modernization strategy. The Power Transfer Cohort is an 8-week program, and each company selected to participate receives a contract for $100,000 with the potential for follow-on awards.   TOYOTA BEGINS EUROPEAN ROLL-OUT OF PROACE ELECTRIC VAN "Toyota has started the market launch of the Proace Electric and Proace Verso Electric in Europe. List prices in Germany start at 41,948 euros for the Proace Electric and 58,530 euros for the Proace Verso Electric. The smaller Proace City Electric is to follow in October this year." says electrive: "The Proace is not based on a Toyota platform, but on the EMP2 from PSA/Stellantis. The minibus is thus another offshoot to the three well-known models of the PSA brands Citroën, Peugeot and Opel. The Proace Electric is the commercial vehicle version (comparable to the Opel Vivaro-e), while the Proace Verso Electric is the passenger car model for private customers, like the Opel Zafira-e Life. The technical data matches that of the PSA trio: The 100 kW electric motor is used, Toyota also offers two battery options (50 or 75 kWh). Depending on the battery, between 230 and 330 kilometres WLTP range"   https://www.electrive.com/2021/04/27/toyota-begins-european-roll-out-of-proace-electric-van/   ANOTHER CHINESE NAME TO REMEMBER - JIDU AUTO "Jidu Auto, Chinese search engine giant Baidu’s new car-making venture, plans to invest CNY50 billion (USD7.7 billion) in the next five years and recruit 2,500 to 3,000 employees in the next two to three years, according to its chief executive." reports  Yicaiglobal: "Jidu Auto is likely to showcase its first vehicle at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition next April and will unveil one new model every 12 to 18 months after that, Xia Yiping told Yicai Global today. The firm has already built a core team of about 100 people, he said. Baidu founder Robin Li highly values the project and will play a role in key parts of its engineering and design work, Xia said, adding that Jidu Auto will launch a new round of financing soon."   https://www.yicaiglobal.com/news/baidu-to-invest-usd77-billion-to-make-cars-in-next-five-years   NIO WILL DISCLOSE STRATEGY FOR SELLING EVS IN NORWAY ", the company will broadcast a news conference on May 6. We expect it to reveal the details of Nio’s global expansion." according to InsideEVs: "The Chinese carmaker had already revealed that it wanted to be in all major EV markets by 2024. Apart from China, that means Europe and the US. The news conference could be restricted to the Norwegian market, but we expect to learn a lot more."   https://insideevs.com/news/504249/nio-norway-sales-may-6/   WILLIAMS, ITALDESIGN TOUT FAST-TO-MARKET LUXURY EV PLATFORM "Williams Advanced Engineering and ItalDesign will market an electric-car platform aimed at premium brands looking to sell long-range, high-performance EVs costing more than 100,000 euros ($121,000)." says Autmotive News Europe: "The two companies say the EVX platform will enable companies to bring a car to market in 30 months to 36 months, about 12 months earlier than traditional development timings. Williams will supply the rolling chassis under the partnership, while ItalDesign will contribute the body design, safety systems, electric architecture, and limited production of up to 500 cars for customers."   https://europe.autonews.com/automakers/williams-italdesign-tout-fast-market-luxury-ev-platform     QUESTION OF THE WEEK WITH EMOBILITYNORWAY.COM   Whats the most effective consumer education regarding EVs?   Email me your thoughts and I’ll read them out on Sunday – hello@evnewsdaily.com     It would mean a lot if you could take 2mins to leave a quick review on whichever platform you download the podcast.   And  if you have an Amazon Echo, download our Alexa Skill, search for EV News Daily and add it as a flash briefing.   Come and say hi on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter just search EV News Daily, have a wonderful day, I’ll catch you tomorrow and remember…there’s no such thing as a self-charging hybrid.     PHIL ROBERTS / ELECTRIC FUTURE (PREMIUM PARTNER) BRAD CROSBY (PREMIUM PARTNER) PORSCHE OF THE VILLAGE CINCINNATI (PREMIUM PARTNER) AUDI CINCINNATI EAST (PREMIUM PARTNER) VOLVO CARS CINCINNATI EAST (PREMIUM PARTNER) NATIONALCARCHARGING.COM and ALOHACHARGE.COM  (PREMIUM PARTNER) DEREK REILLY FROM THE EV REVIEW IRELAND YOUTUBE CHANNEL (PREMIUM PARTNER) RICHARD AT RSEV.CO.UK – FOR BUYING AND SELLING EVS IN THE UK (PREMIUM PARTNER) eMOBILITY NORWAY HTTPS://WWW.EMOBILITYNORWAY.COM/  (PREMIUM PARTNER)     DAVID AND LISA ALLEN (PARTNER) GARETH HAMER (PARTNER) BOB BOOTHBY FROM MILLBROOK COTTAGES – 5* GOLD SELF CATERING COTTAGES (PARTNER) DARIN MCLESKEY FROM DENOVO REAL ESTATE (PARTNER) JUKKA KUKONEN FROM WWW.SHIFT2ELECTRIC.COM RAJEEV NARAYAN (PARTNER) IAIN SEAR (PARTNER)   ADRIAN BOND (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ALAN SHEDD (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ALEX BANAHENE (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ALEXANDER FRANK @ https://www.youtube.com/c/alexsuniverse42 ANDERS HOVE (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ANDREA JEFFERSON (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ANDREW GREEN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ANDY NANCARROW AND LILIAN KASS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ASEER KHALID (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) BÅRD FJUKSTAD (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) BLUNDERBUSS JONES (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER BRIAN THOMPSON (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) BRUCE BOHANNAN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) CHARLES HALL (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) CHRIS HOPKINS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) CHRISTOPHER BARTH (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) COLIN HENNESSY AND CAMBSEV (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) CRAIG ROGERS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) DAMIEN DAVIS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) DAVID FINCH (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) DAVID MOORE (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) DAVID PARTINGTON (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) DAVID PRESCOTT (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) DC EV (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) DON MCALLISTER / SCREENCASTSONLINE.COM (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ED CORTREEN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ERIC HANSEN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ERU KYEYUNE-NYOMBI (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) FREDRIK ROVIK (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) GENE RUBIN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) HEDLEY WRIGHT (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) HEINRICH LIESNER (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) IAN GRIFFITHS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) IAN (WATTIE) WATKINS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) JACK OAKLEY (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) JAMES STORR (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) JAVIER CARMELO DÍAZ PÉREZ (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) JIM MORRIS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) JOHN SCHROEDER (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) JON AKA BEARDY MCBEARDFACE FROM KENT EVS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) JON MANCHAK (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) JUAN GONZALEZ (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) KEVIN MEYERSON (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) LAURENCE D ALLEN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) LEE BROWN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) LUKE CULLEY (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) MARCEL WARD (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) MARTY YOUNG  (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) MIA OPPELSTRUP (PARTNER) MIKE WINTER (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) NATHAN GORE-BROWN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) NATHANIEL FREEDMAN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) NEIL E ROBERTS FROM SUSSEX EVS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) OHAD ASTON (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) PAUL STEPHENSON (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) PETE GLASS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) PETE GORTON (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) PETER & DEE ROBERTS FROM OXON EVS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) PHIL MOUCHET (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) PHILIP TRAUTMAN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) RAYMOND ROWLEDGE (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) RENE KEEMIK (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) RENÉ SCHNEIDER (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ROB FROM THE RSTHINKS EV CHANNEL ON YOUTUBE (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) ROBERT GRACE (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) RUPERT MITCHELL (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) SEIKI PAYNE (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) STEPHEN PENN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) STEVE JOHN (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) THOMAS J. Show #842   Good morning, good afternoon and good evening wherever you are in the world, welcome to EV News Daily for Friday 17th July 2020. HYUNDAI KONA ELECTRIC GLOBAL SALES REACH MILESTONE OF 100,000 "Hyundai Kona Electric has just reached the milestone of 100,000 global sales in just over two years since its market launch in March 2018. As of June 30, 2020, 103,719 Kona Electric were sold. More than three-quarters of the total outside of its home market - South Korea." says InsideEVs: "There should be no problem increasing the sales of Kona Electric beyond 60,000 this year, compared to less than 50,000 in 2019. The goal for Hyundai by 2025 is to gradually increase battery-electric car sales to 560,000 annually."   The Kona is now made in Czech Republic about 235 miles east of Prague, 30,000 cars in first year. Batteries coming from LG Chem and SKI in Poland and Hungary.   TESLA GIGAFACTORY NEVADA NOW PRODUCES 13 MILLION BATTERY CELLS PER DAY "The science channel got access to Tesla’s Gigafactory Nevada for their new show ‘Super Factories’ – giving us a rare new look inside the plant." says Electrek today: "When originally announcing the plan for the factory, Tesla was talking about the plant producing 105 GWh of battery cells per year and 150 GWh of battery packs per year once completed. However, the factory is currently about 30% complete and Tesla hasn’t expanded the facility for years as both the automaker and Panasonic have focused on optimizing the current production capacity. Also, there are a few nice tidbits of information. For example, they say that the current production capacity stands at 13 million individual cells per day. At ~17 Wh per cell, that’s 221 MWh of battery cells per day or 80 GWh per year, which would be a big increase from the latest disclosed official capacity at Gigafactory Nevada."   Teslarati notes: "Rare footage of the battery cell manufacturing process was also highlighted in the Super Factories segment. This includes the massive, elaborate conveyor systems that the company utilizes for its battery cell manufacturing. A look at batteries seemingly being assembled for a Powerwall battery unit was also included in the feature. Interestingly enough, the segment also mentioned that Gigafactory Nevada is capable of producing around 13 million cells per day. "   https://electrek.co/2020/07/16/tesla-gigafactory-nevada-battery-cell-production/   https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-giga-nevada-battery-cell-production-line-deep-dive-video/   STUDY SHOWS IMPRESSIVE RESALE VALUE FOR MODEL 3 A recent study showed some impressive resale figures for the Tesla Model 3, saying the sedan holds its value more than five times better than other EVs.  Car search engine iSeeCars.com analyzed more than 6.9 million car sales to identify models with the greatest loss in value after three years.  The three available Tesla vehicles currently in production with used car versions available all have below-average depreciation for the segment." reports TeslaMotorsClub.com: "The report said one reason Teslas defy the high depreciation of the EV segment is because over-the-air software updates help keep even the older versions current. As such, consumers are likely willing to pay higher prices for the Model S and Model X than what they are willing to pay for other used luxury vehicles, the report found.   https://teslamotorsclub.com/blog/2020/07/16/study-shows-impressive-resale-value-for-model-3/   VOLKSWAGEN TRADEMARKS E-BEETLE AND OTHER CLASSIC E-VW NAMES "They’d be fools not to consider it, and it now looks like maybe, just maybe, they weren’t fools after all, as a member of the VWIDTalk forum found evidence that Volkswagen has reserved the European trademarks for e-Beetle as well as some other air-cooled era classics." says Jalopnik; "Along with the e-Beetle, VW has reserved e-Samba, which may be used as the official name for the reborn electric Microbus currently known as the ID Buzz, along with the e-Karmann (likely an electric small sports car, perhaps a convertible, like the original Karmann-Ghia), and, maybe the most questionably, the e-Kübel. Of course, just reserving trademarks isn’t an indicator that a company is actually planning to build cars with those trademarked names, but it’s certainly a step. "   https://jalopnik.com/volkswagen-trademarks-e-beetle-and-other-classic-e-vw-n-1844407434   VOLKSWAGEN GROUP OF AMERICA OPENS NEXT-GEN CHARGING STATION AT ARIZONA GLOBAL TEST CENTER Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA) has opened one of the most extensive electric vehicle charging stations at a North American test facility. This next-generation charging station at its Arizona Proving Grounds will be used to help VWGoA evaluate battery and charging performance under extreme hot-weather conditions. Engineers will also receive real time data to see how various chargers compare. The 50-space charging station is located at VWGoA’s global test facility in Maricopa, AZ—one of two worldwide, Group-wide hot-weather test facilities—and will allow the charging of EVs in weather conditions up to 120 degrees. Twenty-five DC fast chargers, with variable power outputs from the most commonly used charger power today at 50 kilowatts (kW) all the way up to 350kW, can charge capable EVs at speeds up to 20 miles per minute. Ten Level 2 AC chargers will also be used at the facility to simulate typical, home-based charging. The chargers will utilize charge plugs from the three standard connector types: U.S. (CCS1), Europe (CCS2) and China (GB-T). All charging equipment comes from different brands from around the world to maximize testing variability.   AUDI E-TRON IS WORLD MARKET LEADER IN ITS SEGMENT   The Audi e-tron is the worldwide market leader in its segment. The first fully electric series production model from Audi is popular all over the world with customers and media alike.  With the e-tron GT, the Q4 e-tron, and the Q4 Sportback e-tron, Audi is looking toward an electric year 2021 in both senses of the word. In the first half of 2020, Audi delivered 17,641 e-tron models to customers worldwide. This corresponds to an increase of 86.8 percent as compared to the previous year – despite the difficult market situation due to the coronavirus pandemic. The fully electric Audi model is therefore way ahead of its competitors in the full-size battery electric vehicle SUV segment worldwide. It is even the overall top-selling electric SUV in Europe. The Audi e-tron is highly sought after in the Scandinavian market in particular. In Norway, which is the pioneering country when it comes to electric mobility, it was the top-selling passenger-car model in the first half of the year. The e-tron makes up 92 percent of the volume of Audi models delivered in Norway. It also makes up a significant portion of deliveries in Iceland (93 percent), Sweden (12 percent), and Israel (14 percent). In the USA, the e-tron has recorded an increase in sales by more than 50 percent as compared to the previous year. [Audi] will be launching the Audi e-tron GT. Performance and an expressive design are the most important ingredients for the e-tron GT. It thereby emphasizes the sportiness of the brand and continues the success story of the Audi e-tron together with the electric Q models.   https://www.audi-mediacenter.com/en/press-releases/audi-e-tron-is-world-market-leader-in-its-segment-12967   MCKINSEY FINDS 7 OF 10 CHINA EVS POTENTIALLY PROFITABLE "The management consultancy McKinsey has disassembled and analysed ten popular electric cars from Chinese manufacturers for a new study. From this, the consultants derived some interesting statements on possible profits and the market prospects of international manufacturers." says Electrive: "For the study entitled “How to drive winning battery-electric-vehicle design”, popular electric cars from Chinese production were analysed, both from established groups such as SAIC and the GM brand Buick, as well as from start-ups such as Nio or World Champions. In the analysis, the experts also found that there is still no “silver bullet” in the design and procurement of electric drive components for Chinese BEVs, as is the case for European models. For two of the ten vehicles, all components were developed in-house, for three all drive components were purchased, and five chose a middle course of in-house development and outsourcing. There are also different approaches to battery designs, as well as to the networking and integration of the drive systems."   https://www.electrive.com/2020/07/13/mckinsey-analysis-finds-7-of-10-chinese-evs-potentially-profitable/   FISKER TRYING TO SECURE VOLKSWAGEN'S MEB PLATFORM FOR THE OCEAN " One key piece of info is that Fisker is in talks with Volkswagen about using VW's MEB modular electric platform and ancillary components for the Ocean. The agreement would include battery packs as well." says Autoblog: "Furthermore, this attempt at deeper collaboration with VW is part of a two-year growing partnership. The Verge went through the presentation, noting that Fisker and VW entered a memorandum of understanding in 2017, upgrading that to a "collaboration agreement" in 2018. Audi subsidiary Italdesign built the Ocean crossover Fisker debuted at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, the prototype described as a "near-series prototype" and sitting an MEB platform. This month, the two companies could sign a "cornerstone agreement" to formalize "costs, production capacity, and a timeline." The new GranCabrio was designed by Pininfarina, which also created the current Quattroporte and GranTurismo. It will be assembled at the Viale Ciro Menotti factory in Modena. The GranCabrio gets a soft canvas top and will be powered by a 433-horsepower 4.7-liter V8.
