Welcome to our podcast series from The Super Network and Pop4D called Tubi Tuesdays Podcast! This podcast series is focused on discovering and doing commentaries/watch a longs for films found on the free streaming service Tubi, at TubiTVYour hosts for Tubi Tuesdays are Super Marcey, ‘The Terrible Australian' Bede Jermyn, Prof. Batch (From Pop4D & Web Tales: A Spider-Man Podcast) and Kollin (From Trash Panda Podcast), will take turns each week picking a film to watch and most of them will be ones we haven't seen before.Film Starts Playing At: 00:10:49Welcome back to The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast, the number one Tubi related podcast that's hosted by two Australians, one Canadian and one American! Well actually this episode it's hosted by two Australians and one Canadian as Kollin was unable to join this week (we suspect he's hiding from a certain character). It is back to basics for this week with Super Marcey, Bede Jermyn and Prof. Batch, although what sort of time are they in for with it being Bede's choice of film ... he did pick a Troma released film called Nightbeast (1982), it can't be a bad time can it? Well you'll need to tune in and find out if Marcey and Batch enjoyed this film and haven't banned Bede!Nightbeast was directed by Don Dohler, it stars Tom Griffith, Jamie Zemarel, Karin Kardian, George Stover, Don Leifert Anne Frith and Eleanor Herman. If you have never listened to a commentary before and want to watch the film along with the podcast, here is how it works. You simply need to grab a copy of the film or load it up on Tubi (you may need alcohol), and sync up the podcast audio with the film. We will tell you when to press and you follow along, it is that easy! Because we have watched the films on Tubi, it is a free service and there are ads, however we will give a warning when it comes up, so you can pause the film and provide time stamps to keep in sync.Highlights include:* Sadly no Kollin this week, we blame Sherry Lou Lou ...* The podcast now has a President in Louise, what are we in for?* This Nightbeast alien looks like a lot of different things!* This cop dude's hair gets more curly and more grey in every scene!* Is Drago or the alien the villain?* What is going on?!* No seriously, what is this movie?* Plus much, much more!Check out The Super Network on Patreon to gain early access to The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast!DISCLAIMER: This audio commentary isn't meant to be taken seriously, it is just a humourous look at a film. It is for entertainment purposes, we do not wish to offend anyone who worked on and in the film, we have respect for you all.Music provided by DeNNo, introduction and podcast editing by Super Marcey & Bede Jermyn Hosted on Acast. We managed to convince Matt of Horrorshow Hot Dog fame to stop by this week with another Tubi certified classic.
Oh my god, EMTs. Don Dohler was a genius and an American treasure and his catalog should be far more celebrated. In this week's episode, we're discussing his 1982 absolute masterpiece of trash, "Nightbeast." Special topics for your consideration include: Baltimore accents that sound lovely to our Western PA ears, being a flannelman, a top 5 weird sex scene in WWA history, and the return of two characters that one of us loved. Please go listen to Episode 178- "The Alien Factor" for more of Don Dohler's work. It's exquisite. The regular lineup of links! Bon Voyage, Yann Demange Marvel's Mahershala Ali-led Blade has suffered yet another setback as Director Yann Demange has exited the project, marking him the second director to exit Blade. The 1982 sci-fi/horror flick Nightbeast is this week's pick. An aggressive alien in what appears to be silk pajamas crash lands on Earth and begins killing people indiscriminately. It's up to a small-town sheriff with a perm and a small group of locals to combat the threat. An unnecessary love triangle adds nothing to this low-budget spectacle, but a high body count and uncomfortable sex scene make up for it.
In this episode of the B Movie Breakdown, we dive into the classic 80s horror flick, Nightbeast. Join hosts Corey, Nick and Gina as they break down every gory detail of this low-budget masterpiece. From the cheesy special effects to the over-the-top acting, we leave no stone unturned in our analysis of this cult classic. Tune in to hear our thoughts on the film's unique blend of sci-fi and horror elements, and how it stacks up against other 80s creature features. Aira leads her friends on a journey to seek their lost parents... but they are pursued by some sort of noisy night creature.
A story about rubber suit aliens, bad acting, Maryland accents, and a tiny police station. Listen in as me and returning guest, Kenny, set this interplanetary zoological disaster film under or microscopes. Written and directed by Maryland's greatest unknown talent Don Dohler (Blood Massacre, Galaxy Invader, Nightbeast), the Bloody Pit of Horror called the film both “extremely cheap-looking, amateurishly acted, poorly edited and filled with continuity errors” but also said it was “a fun and charming no budget creature feature." Video Religion said "the movie is a significant example of no-budget filmmaking, not because it does an excellent job of hiding its shortcomings, but because it goes all out with what it does have.” That really sums up Don's work. Might not have had much, but he swung for the fences with what he did. It tells the story of a small Maryland town that sees an alien spaceship crash. The occupants, a trio of deadly alien specimens, escape and begin to terrorize the town. Hope is found when a stranger shows up in town claiming to have tracked the crash. He hunts the aliens down and starts to gain the trust of those around him, but he too harbors a secret… The film is currently available on Amazon Prime Video, DVD, and Blu-Ray.

Welcome to our monthlong celebration of schlock. There will be lizards, yetis, devils and everything in-between with these 31 days. Let's start with some high class cinema with the Don Dohler classic NightBeast from 1982. When his space ship is dinged by asteroids, our titular character is crash landed to earth and he is angry. Armed with a man dusting ray gun, claws and a gnarly overbite, he defies and defiles anyone that gets in his way.

Holly joins the hunt for an ugly (but sharply-dressed) alien spree killer in Nightbeast (1982). After crash landing on Earth, the titular creature begins alternately vaporizing and eating the residents of a woodsy small town, leading the sheriff, his female deputy, and the town's man-of-action to track it down. Listen as we marvel at the wonders of backyard filmmaking while enduring cinema's most awkward love scene, while an alien lunatic runs around disembowling and beheading the townsfolk, all on this week's exciting episode! It's been a long & lonely year in Junk Food Dinner land, without all the late-nite Corn Gorn partying and early-morning Ghoul Summer partying we're used to. The only silver lining in this hellish cloudscape has been the steadfast support of our loyal Dom Deluise Patreon Patrons, who have pledged to keep us warm all winter long with their hot-ass movie picks. And this week we got three scorchers! Up first! Y'all remember that popular winter holiday everyone celebrates and makes movies about? Well, 1987's Planes, Trains and Automobiles (picked by Kessa), isn't actually about Christmas - nor, despite the appearance of John "Halloween" Candy is it about All Hallow's Eve. No, good friends of podcastingland, it's that John Hughes movie about Thanksgiving, for some reason! Also featuring Steve Martin! As one-half of an odd-coupling with none-other than the Candy-man himself! It's the one where the grown men share a hotel bed.Next up! We've seen Nightbeast. You've seen Nightbeast. We hadn't seen The Alien Factor. But we've all seen The Alien Factor. That's because, of course, 1978's earlier-shot-and-long-shelved The Alien Factor (picked by Brendon) is more or less just Nightbeast with worse cameras. But that doesn't mean we love it (or Baltmore-area schlockmaster Don Dohler) any less for it! Finally! It's a third Patreon-picked film! With a zombie who is also a ninja! Of course, we're talking about the recently unearthed-by-AGFA Ninja Zombie from 1992. It's that weird and wacky movie that seems like it was shot primarily as an excuse to play with samurai swords in a public park. And isn't that what life is all about?!All this plus a christmas-grinch's podcasting heart turns three times larger, grandma's nips by popular demand, Japanese yuletide styles, regional theme park foods, Garth Brooks makes an appearance, the uncles are listening, this time Kevin's the skype-y one!, kentucky fried shamelessness, Hunter & Gunn: A Lovesong, a bonafide flurry of emoji chatter, eggnog hangovers, sci-fidelity ambience, ginger-spiced sneezes our weekly news plus blu-ray picks and even more! Somewhere, someone greenlit a movie about an alien that shoots lasers at people at all hours of the day, but for some reason gave it the name NIGHTBEAST (1982). It is neither an actual beast, nor does it only attack at night, plus there's a random subplot of a murderous biker (on top of the scientist cardboard cutouts trying to stop the titular creature). This movie is a mess, so you get one guess as to which of your hosts chose it... If you like the show, be sure to Rate, Review & Subscribe! This week we're taking on the intergalactic space turd that is "Nightbeast". This 1982 sci-fi/horror movie features an alien in a silver disco suit, that looks like a hairless ape or General Akbar on meth, actors that look like washed up 70's porn stars, a biker with a bad attitude that has absolutely no bearing on the plot, a laser pistol that turns people into disco lights, a creepy Uncle, and politics. Because no horror movie is compete with out politics. This movie should have stayed lost in space.

This week things get really weird. Holy cow these movies! So bad it's good? You be the judge. First we take on Claudio Fragassos (Director of Troll 2) NIGHT KILLER (1990). A story so crazy and acted so poorly that you will have your mind blown. Then we take on Don Dohlers NIGHTBEAST (1982) about a space alien that crash lands on earth to run amuck punching out peoples chests and lasering them into burnt shadows. Both are just insane. We review them with trivia and even make a shot for one of them this week! Check it out. This week on BIRDHANDS, we get deep into a no budget gem from 1982 featuring an alien monster who according to the poster can rip flesh right from the bone! For those of you unfamiliar with Don Dohler's Nightbeast (1982) a few dear friends of the GGtMC and me, The Samurai, decided to get together and bring you a bonus episode of this trash classic. I brought along two of my closest movie fan buddies for this one, Miles from ShowShow and Rupert from rupertpupkinspeaks.blogspot.com We had more than fun talking about this film, as a matter of fact, we probably could have done two episodes talking about this one. The great thing is...if you live in the states and have a Netflix account? You can go and watch this film RIGHT NOW!!! It is available on Netflix Instant!!! As always, you can reach us using the following: Voicemails 206-666-5207 Emails to midnitecinema@gmail.com I look forward to doing more of these bonus episodes in the future, and who knows what we will cover next!!! Adios!!! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/ggtmc/message
