This week, JP sits down with Glen from Green Dragon, a true pioneer whose journey runs deep through both the music industry and cannabis culture. Before building a cannabis powerhouse, Glen was producing records like “Love of My Life” by Erykah Badu and “Dance Tonight” by Lucy Pearl — eventually finding himself tapped in with names like Dr. Dre and Raphael Saadiq during his time in LA.From there, the transition into cannabis came naturally — and over the past 20+ years, Green Dragon has grown into a full-scale operation with dispensaries, cultivation, nursery, and distribution.
We're back with another monthly episode of our reflection roundup series, where I share the crazy stories I only tell on the podcast.. and the lessons they were meant to teach me (so you don't have to learn them the hard way). This month's roundup includes:a bee sting from hell lolgoing down bad with body aches in a matter of 30 minspanicking myself into days of horrible digestion post-bachelorettethe emotional root cause of teeth problems + cavitiesa weirdo asking if I'm a man lolllEvery reflection stems from an emotional imbalance, and the more you learn about this system, the quicker you can shift your emotional imbalances and actually get what you want in life - the money, the partner, the career, the confidence. Whatever you're built for in this life, reflections are just helping you get there quicker.Free Dark Forces webinar sign-up: Wednesday 6/3/26 @ 3 PM PDT!Free Webinar Replay LibraryInstagram: @melissaburkhart_Website: www.melissaburkhart.com

On episode 211 of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with In Shallows! Comprised of Bobby Wharton (guitar), Colin Trombley (vocals), Graham Fortier (drums) and Matt Pro (bass, clean vocals), In Shallows is a metalcore band based in Keene, New Hampshire. After forming in December 2019, In Shallows released their debut EP entitled Beneath The Surface in October 2021. Recorded at Hell Here Studios with Saving Vice guitarist Robbie Litchfield, Beneath The Surface proved to be another great metalcore debut in a long line of New England metalcore lineage. Since the release of Beneath The Surface in 2021, In Shallows has built their audience through numerous singles and energetic live shows, both at home and on the road. They've shared the stage with the likes of the aforementioned Saving Vice, Devitalized, Fight From Within, Rose Lane, Dead Within Days, and Valoria, among others. In Shallows' musical range has also included everything from covering Post Malone's "Hollywood's Bleeding" in 2022, to their 2023 hit "Venom," the latter of which is nearing 1 million streams on Spotify alone. On March 6th, In Shallows dropped their latest single entitled "Side Effects." For "Side Effects" and their forthcoming new record, In Shallows again teamed up with Litchfield. In this episode, Mike speaks with In Shallows about "Side Effects," including the gnarly music video with Colin in Hannibal Lecter-esque garb, working with Litchfield, covering Post Malone, their forthcoming record, growing as a band over the years, and more. This episode also features the aforementioned "Side Effects" from In Shallows, available where you get your music! Follow In Shallows on Instagram @inshallows. Everyone is part of a connected cosmic system. Part earth and sea, wind and fire, with some salt and dust swimming in them. We have a universe within ourselves that mimics the universe outside. Meet Lincoln, zookeeper-in-training, resident animal expert, and the five-year-old son of your host, Jenna—who's here to school us on the wild world of venomous and poisonous animals! In this special episode of Cincinnati Zoo Tales, Lincoln takes the mic to share his surprisingly deep knowledge (and big enthusiasm) about creatures that sting, bite, and warn predators to stay away. With Jenna guiding the conversation, Lincoln brings curiosity, humor, and a fresh perspective that proves you're never too young to love and learn about wildlife. It's a fun, family-friendly episode packed with cool facts, adorable moments, and a whole lot of zoo magic.
“It took me like a hard 16 seconds…but I got it down…I swallowed all of it…” Released April 10, 2026, DEAD TO RIGHTS, the 14th studio album in 40+ years from the mighty METAL CHURCH, features a new line up and a return to the power metal infused thrash style that made them a force to be reckoned with back in the 80's, during the heyday of the (then relatively new) thrash scene. “I was proud of myself…that I finished that much…in so little time…” Featuring David Ellefson (formerly of Megadeth) on bass, Ken Mary (currently of Flotsam and Jetsam) on drums, and brand-new vocalist Brian Allen, DEAD TO RIGHTS contains all of the best elements of “The Dark” and “Blessing In Disguise” with the added blessing of modern production quality. This album is chock full of great riffs and catchy hooks that maintains the classic “flavor of Metal Church” with some upgraded, present-day refinements. “He's got great gear…he's got really nice gear…I kinda wanna play with his gear…” Find out why “Splitting The G” is an essential St. Patrick's Day event for every holiday, get yourself a tiny sample of the brand-new Venom album, “Into Oblivion” (featuring Cronos), and find out why “the Metallica of the WCW” likes to enjoy “the Evil Bean with the Mean Gene” when you JOIN US as we embrace the power and the fury of METAL CHURCH with their latest offering, DEAD TO RIGHTS. The greatest Ford festival party on the planet – the annual Carlisle Ford Nationals – is all about Blue Oval camaraderie and vehicle clubs and celebrating the myriad of Fords produced over the past century. After John created the Ford Performance Club Connect program for Ford Racing more than a decade ago, the Carlilse Ford Nats became his “Super Bowl” of car shows as he could meet up with dozens and dozens of Ford clubs all in one place over a single weekend.John even got to choose Carlisle's “Coolest Club Hangout” award each year as he and Mike visited as many of the club tents on the show field as they possibly could. But a few years ago, something big happened: Frank Spinellla's Venom Outlaws Mustang Club showed up and turned the club hangout experience into a themed happening with a massive tent and custom-decorated footprint that dwarfed everything else that clubs gad set up on the CarlisleFairgrounds. In this episode, Mike and John visit with Frank to get the inside story of his club, and how being founded on family fun has powered the annual “Venom Invasion” at Carlisle.Don't forget to Like, Subscribe and leave a Comment. In our first talk from 2007 Dave talks about beaking into comics, writing The Unknown Soldier, Runs on Superman and Spider-Man. The Iron Man "Demon In A Bottle" saga, and of course The creation of Venom
Venom guitarist Rage Dixon and Six Feet Under guitarist Jack Owen headline this double episode, breaking down the making of Into Oblivion and Next To Die. Rage explains how losing two years of recordings forced Venom to rebuild the album from scratch, pushing the band toward a more experimental, live-driven sound, while Owen explores whether Six Feet Under is returning to its classic groove-focused identity. The episode covers Venom's no click track recording approach, the evolution behind “Lay Down Your Soul” and “Kicked Out of Hell,” and the band's direction moving forward. In the second half, Owen is joined by Metal Mayhem ROC correspondent Bill the Rager, bringing a 35-year friendship into the conversation, turning it into a heavy metal memory lane alongside insights on songwriting, touring, stepping away from lead guitar, and stories from his time in Cannibal Corpse. Frog venom burns your skin, makes you purge, and might be the most powerful healing tool you have never tried. In this episode, Host Dave Asprey sits down with Kambo researcher and practitioner Caitlin Thompson to break down how intentional suffering through this ancient Amazonian medicine is producing dramatic results for people with autoimmune conditions, chronic illness, Lyme disease, addiction, and metabolic dysfunction. From the peptide science behind the purge to the biohacking case for voluntary pain, this conversation will change how you think about healing, resilience, and human performance. Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience: https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR Caitlin Thompson is an internationally recognized Kambo practitioner and educator who has guided over 2,700 clients through this medicine, with a focus on Lyme disease, autoimmune conditions, and chronic illness. Her path into this work was shaped by her own recovery from Lyme disease and Lupus. Trained in neurobiology and rooted in psychedelic science, immune health, and the human microbiome, Caitlin is currently pioneering some of the first prospective human studies on Kambo. She collaborates directly with indigenous Amazonian communities including the Matsés, Shuar, Quechua, and Matis, and has appeared on over 100 podcasts and conferences as a leading voice at the intersection of traditional medicine and modern science. Dave and Caitlin break down the full Kambo experience, from the transdermal burns and peptide families flooding your lymphatic system, to the purge, the frog face, and the window of clarity that follows. They explore why the suffering is not a side effect but the actual mechanism, how ordeal medicine builds the same neuroplasticity and dopamine receptor sensitivity that meditation, breathwork, and ice baths produce, and why this ancient practice is becoming one of the most talked about tools in functional medicine and longevity circles. They also dig into the sustainability crisis threatening frog populations in the Amazon, the almost nonexistent research landscape for Kambo, why journals refuse to publish positive findings, and how AI may unlock the ability to synthesize Kambo peptides and remove the dependency on frogs entirely. You'll Learn: Why intentional suffering through Kambo may be one of the most effective biohacking tools for immune reset and brain optimization How Kambo peptides interact with your mitochondria, vagal nerve, and immune system to drive deep healing Why the purge is not a side effect but a keystone mechanism of the medicine How ordeal medicine builds dopamine receptor sensitivity and neuroplasticity similar to fasting, cold exposure, and breathwork What the actual risks of Kambo are and how hyponatremia kills people who do it wrong Why Caitlin recovered from Lupus and Lyme disease using Kambo and what that means for autoimmune conditions How Kambo compares to ketamine, ayahuasca, and other altered states for trauma and performance Why journals refuse to publish Kambo research and what that reveals about the drug development pipeline How AI and synthetic biology may soon make frog harvesting unnecessary What the worst Kambo practitioners do wrong and how to find someone you can actually trust Thank you to our sponsors! -BEYOND Biohacking Conference 2026 | Register with code DAVE300 for $300 off https://beyondconference.com-KILLSwitch | If you're ready for the best sleep of your life, order now at https://www.switchsupplements.com/ and use code DAVE for 20% off-Caldera + Lab | Go to https://calderalab.com/DAVE and use code DAVE at checkout for 20% off your first order.-Screenfit | Get your at-home eye training program for 40% off using code DAVE at https://www.screenfit.com/dave.Dave Asprey is a four-time New York Times bestselling author, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, and the father of biohacking.
