Joining me, Kelly-Anne Taylor, for this very special bonus episode of the Radio Times Podcast is the phenomenal actress, Emma Myers. Born and raised in Orlando in America, Emma had an eclectic childhood – she was one of four and was homeschooled, often spending her days roaming the Disney theme park local to her house. Dance was her initial passion – but, after her family moved to Atlanta, she began to pursue acting. Her life changed forever, when she was cast as Enid Sinclair in Tim Burton's Wednesday – Netflix's second most watched show of all time. In this episode, we talk about starring in Wednesday – and how she went from having 900 followers on Instagram to just under 12 million in a matter of weeks – and how she dealt with that explosion in popularity. Plus, we talk about A Good Girl's Guide to Murder – in which she stars as Pip, a precocious teenager who decides to investigate the unsolved murder of a young schoolgirl. It's a delightful bonus episode – I really hope you enjoy it! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Wednesday is both a piece of Addams Family media and a Tim Burton work, so we're looking at the intersection of those two origins. We take a trip down memory lane to look at how Wednesday and the rest of her family have been portrayed in various media over the decades, from the original 1930s comics by Charles Addams, all the way up to its current iteration in the Wednesday Netflix series. Then we talk about Tim Burton's aesthetic influences, distinct style of storytelling, and how he brought those things to Wednesday. Eric discusses his thoughts on the Netflix show Wednesday, and its connections to the Disney Company. Tim Burton, the director of Wednesday, has worked extensively with Disney and brings his signature creepy style to the show. Disney Legend Danny Elfman provides the music for Wednesday. Additionally, Jenna Ortega, the lead actress in Wednesday, previously starred in the Disney Channel show Stuck in the Middle. The visions in Wednesday are compared to the TV show That's So Raven, and the tour of the Nevermore campus in Wednesday is likened to the Disney Channel original movie Zombies. Thom ging naar Avatar: the Way of Water.

Wchodzimy w 2023 w standardowym, acz trochę schorowanym duecie. Ponadto, w odcinku: newsy, High On Life, ponownie Pentiment, w skrócie wg Starego Gracza: średniowiecze, religia, kler:) Lotos 2 o tak! Echo 3 nie! KraZZZinski tak, i Pani z Gra o Smoka w Środzie. Są książki o gierkach i The Office i dwie części Knives Out które mam nadzieje każdy widział. Dozo. Wstępniak. HWSI! Episode 158 Wednesday (Netflix) Let's give Netflix a hand or a Thing. Their new series “Wednesday” starring Jenna Ortega is killing it on Netflix. No real deaths have occurred to the chagrin of Wednesday Addams, who would have most definitely liked to see some deaths. Sent to Nevermore, a school for misfits, and forced to room with break out star Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, we get to to see a more in-depth look at Wednesday Addams. Dragon on The Couch: The Dragon watched Avatar: The Way of Water (Theatres), the latest James Cameron film. She thought it started boring, but picked up for the last hour. Next, she watched Wednesday (Netflix), the Netflix show about Wednesday Addams. She enjoyed the show, but not as much as she expected. The Dragon saw Christmas Bloody Christmas (Shudder), a Christmas slasher. She loved it and thought it was a fun, gory slasher. Finally, the Dragon watched The Long Kiss Goodnight (Showtime), a Shane Black action film. She thought it was a good, fun action movie. Berto on the Bed: Berto watched Wrath of Man (Prime), a Guy Richie action film. He loved it and felt it reminded him of older action films that didn't worry about morals. Next, he watched The Worlds End (HBO), the final of the Cornetto trilogy. He thought it was good, but was expecting it to be much better. Next he watched Another Earth (Hulu), a low budget sci fi drama. He thought it was meh and the Scifi felt thrown in for no reason. Next he watched Murderville: Who Killed Santa (Netflix), he loved it and found it absolutely hilarious. He then watched some Hallmark style Christmas movies. First was Angel Falls Christmas (Prime), which he thought was mostly boring, and then Holiday In Handcuffs (Prime), which he thought was absolutely insane in the best way possible. Finally, for Joe Bob corner, Berto watched The Stepfather (Shudder), which he thought was a good TV thriller, and he watched The Baby (Shudder), which was one of the most insane movies he's ever seen. Dragon at the Movies: In this week's deep dive, we watched the 1993 stop-motion musical The Nightmare Before Christmas, currently streaming on Disney+.
This week, things are getting weird. Weird like the true tale of the rise of the first male strip clubs in Welcome to Chippendales on Hulu. Przyzwyczailiśmy się do wypłukiwania trudnych, bolesnych i prawdziwych kwestii, a tu nagle wchodzi del Toro i mówi: w Pinokiu będą faszyści, pokażesz to swojemu dziecku? - podsumowuje Katarzyna Czajka-Kominiarczuk. Each season we like to speak to someone from an independent bookstore, but this can be especially challenging during the December holiday shopping crush. We're very glad Amanda Zirn Hudson from Bethany Beach Books in Delaware was able to make time to speak with us. Bethany Beach Books started its own book subscription program several years ago called The Book Drop. Amanda tells us all about how she began the program and explains the process for selecting books and getting them out to members. Unlike other book subscriptions, this one is run by an independent bookstore, and the books they pick are what they consider “hidden gems.” Their program has been recommended by BuzzFeed, NPR, The New York Times, and USA Today. The good news is that you still have time to order a subscription for yourself or a book-loving friend or family member before the holidays! 30 listopada premierę na platformie streamingowej Disney + miał serial "Willow". To sequel filmu fantasy z 1988 roku o tym samym tytule. Jak oceniają go prowadzący podcast "O serialach" Bartosz Węglarczyk i Piotr Markiewicz? - dodaje. Well, we couldn't do good movies for all of October, right? Well, we say that but neither host actually hate this silly puntastic 90 minute live action cartoon. They also talk about Jen's dislike of one of the movie's stars, guilty pleasures, the upcoming Wednesday Netflix show and disagree about acting quality in horror movies. Contains strong language.
Sara goes into the things shes been reflecting on in life as usual and how Monday Mood adds an ironic twist by talking about Wednesday ( from Netflix) Jenna Ortega and finally 29 by Demi Lovato what goes into society and how we keep things normalized that shouldn't...
