Great gaming investors bring more than just cash to the table—they offer strategy, trust, and a shared vision for success. Jetapult hits the mark on all three and, like its name, gives studios the fuel they need to rocket toward sustainable growth, focusing on empowerment rather than just rapid expansion. Peggy Anne Salz and Brian Baglow sit down with Jetapult Co-Founder and CEO Sharan Tulsiani to explore how Jetapult's partnership-driven approach sets it apart from traditional VCs. Drawing from his experience as the former Head of Google Play Games in India, Australia, and New Zealand—and as the creator of Google's Indie Games Accelerator—Sharan shares how Jetapult helps studios leverage data, cultural insights, and operational expertise to scale smarter. He also offers rare insights into what investors really want to hear from studios during pitches and how by prioritizing long-term stability and creative freedom, Jetapult ensures developers remain firmly in the driver's seat. Sharan also dives into specific examples, like helping one studio cut production time by 70% with AI-driven tools and achieving #1 on app store charts by focusing on culturally resonant gameplay. For this episode of The Chrome Cast, there's no escaping the gravitational pull surrounding the arrival of Steam for Chromebooks. Sure, there are only a few Chromebooks that can currently participate in the open Alpha and yes there are bugs, but the overall experience of loading up Steam on a Chromebook is one of the coolest new arrivals we've seen for Chrome OS. Even if you aren't much of a gamer, there's so much to discuss around this topic as a fan of Chrome OS. From an operating system that was 'just a browser' to the do-just-about-anything OS, Chrome OS continues evolving in its abilities. Not only will the Steam on Chromebooks be great for games, it will also help other virtualizations on Chrome OS - like the Android, Linux and Parallels containers - to get faster over time as well. There's a lot to discuss, here, so let's dive in. Notable Links Steam for Chrome OS is finally here, details inside [Update: Coming Soon] And just like that, Google announces Steam Alpha for Chromebooks What Steam Deck Means for Chromebooks and Borealis The Chrome Cast 157: Steam on Chromebooks, Stadia white labeled, and Google Play Games on PC ------------------- Sponsored by VIZOR - Chromebook 1:1 Management Software for Schools! This week on The Chrome Cast, we begin things on a somber note as we reflect a bit about the recent tornadoes that ravaged our home state of Kentucky. It's been a rough time for many in our Commonwealth and we've put together a way for our audience - readers, YouTube viewers, and podcast listeners - to band together to try and help out a group in need that is near and dear to our hearts. The rest of the show is on a much lighter note, however, as we discuss the most recent Pixel Watch leaks, the failed merger of Duo and Google Meet (and what that could end up meaning for Duo long-term), some new camera-related tricks coming to Chromebooks. We wrap up by discussing the huge news that Google Play Games is on the way for Windows on PC and the far-reaching effect this new Android games conduit could have on Chromebooks in the future. Koh Kim, Co-Founder and CEO of EVENPRIME, is our Hello Beauty PLUS! guest. One of the founding members of the Google Play Games business development team, Koh utilizes her eye for noticing white space in areas she’s involved in and fills the gap through the creation of EVENPRIME. EVENPRIME is a next-generation skincare brand that is pH-balanced and suitable for all skin types- including sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin. In this episode, we explore the high-quality ingredients her K-beauty skincare brand has such as Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Niacinamide, Deep Sea Water, Centella Asiatica (Cica), and many more. One would think that these ingredients are only available from expensive brands, but Koh is changing the skincare industry by allowing consumers to experience quality ingredients through EVENPRIME by making their products reasonably priced. After all, skincare should be for everyone, including “celestial beings” as they like to say. Tune in to learn more about why their product collection is a triple threat and why these ingredients are what you need to reduce enlarged pores, sebum, hyperpigmentation, relieve irritation and dryness, etc. FOLLOW EVENPRIME EVENPRIME’s Website EVENPRIME’s Instagram FOLLOW KOH KIM Koh's Instagram FOLLOW HELLO BEAUTY Hello Beauty's Instagram Hello Beauty's Facebook Hello Beauty's YouTube FOLLOW JOYCE PLATON Joyce Platon's Instagram
