This episode is for the parents.    If you are not a parent or don't want to be, you're going to need this advice.    What we need in this world is more intentional parents.     Most parents are not.    They're raising their kids on iPads.     They don't know how to shake hands.    Communicate.    My kids will bring their kids to the house and I can see if their Dads are not teaching them what they need to, so I have to step up.    I do date nights with my wife so my kids can see how couples should be.    I make my kids work and they get jobs every summer and they have more money in the bank than most adults do.    We have daddy-kid day.    I take my kids to the ranch to get them to operate machinery and work shovels and brooms.     You gotta teach kids the importance of being intentional and it starts with parents.  We can't allow our kids to be indoctrinated by schools, ipads and other entities.  They don't give two shits about our kids.    If you want grandkids better than you, as a parent, make sure you're intentional.    About the ReWire Podcast   The ReWire Podcast with Ryan Stewman – Dive into powerful insights as Ryan Stewman, the HardCore Closer, breaks down mental barriers and shares actionable steps to rewire your thoughts. This world takes all types of people.   Some people are big picture people and others are bean-counting, detail-oriented savages that don't miss a piece of lint on a sweater.   Others are creative where others take order and direction.    The other day, I was walking into Walmart and noticed trash on the ground.  I watched 7 people walk past it, so when I rolled up on it, I bent over, picked it up and threw it away.    This is me.     I know it's not my job and apparently whoever has that job at Walmart is not doing their job, but this is where I am different from others.    You may or may not be like this, but ask yourself.............   "Would I pick up the trash?"   This is a very powerful act in itself.    It requires discipline.  Commitment. The last time I got out of prison, I was coming out with no money.    All of my money was gone.    Assets, too.    I got a "Dear John" letter in prison.    I had set up my wife for success in my mortgage business where she wouldn't have to stress about money.     She had a good paying job and I had rental assets to keep her afloat.    She ran off with the landscaper and sold all my shit.     Burned through all my savings.    Ground zero never hurt so bad.  A wasteland of despair and emotional, spiritual, mental, and financial damage.    I had to rebuild all over again.    By myself as I had many times before in my life.    But I used dark motivation to do so.    And here's what I know........sometimes our enemies are sent to be our motivation, but over time, as you level up in your life, your motivations will change.    They'll become lighter at every level of accomplishment and success you attain.    Don't allow yourself to continue to be surrounded by those who you use as motivation.     Dark motivation creates more darkness through intention.    This is why its important to stay surrounded by good people, with good intentions.    As you become more successful, people will want to be your friend, but don't be too quick to take them in; that's not your job.    Take time to get to know them.    Learn what they're about.    Insulate yourself with high-vibrational people with killer intuition.    Over the course of your life, you'll see what drives you and motivates you will change in every season.    It could be wanting a new house, new friends, more business, a bigger company, or a better relationship with your family and loved ones.    Whatever it is, use light motivation over darkness.  That which you use to motivate yourself manifests.      About the ReWire Podcast   The ReWire Podcast with Ryan Stewman – Dive into powerful insights as Ryan Stewman, the HardCore Closer, breaks down mental barriers and shares actionable steps to rewire your thoughts. This episode my trigger some people and it talks about things that are pretty graphic, but they're true.    At this stage in my life, I've had the fancy cars, watches, a mcmansion, luxury vacations, the lights, the camera, and unimagineable experiences.    But it wasn't always like that.    I remember what it felt like to get my first high-rise condo.    I thought, "I made it!"   But there was something darker stewing over me.    It was divorce.     Seeing my son every other weekend and every Wednesday.    I was living in this beautiful high-rise condo where I had my own elevator to my floor, was driving a Maserati, and building a business.    But I was miserable.    And yes, I thought about jumping.    I was trying to save my business.    I was lonely.    I was depressed.    I was heart broken.    But let me tell you this.......   We all have a choice from moment to moment to choose differently. No matter the trials and tribulations you've been through, find things you love and are passionate about. One thing can be agreed upon. There's always going to be a struggle in life.  You're going to be rich, broke, and rich again.  You're going to be attacked, lied to, and you'll also be loved and adored.   Life is a pendulum swing.  From left to right, you're going to encouter challenges at every single turn.  Don't let people dictate how you respond.  Each challenge is a turning point in your journey, a revelation, a lesson, and the experience neccessary for you to grow and take you place in this plane of existence.  Struggles are meant to help you create boundaries and elevate standards for yourself.  If someone or something doesn't resonate with you, cut em off immediately.  Drink too much?  Stop.  Smoking too much weed?  Stop.  Addicted to anger?  Quit.  Sit in silence.  Take in the pain and feel all of it.  It's part of the struggle.  Life is trying to get you to reveal your true self in this world.  Once you've identified your assignment, you'll fall into alignment and start living in your divine purpose.  The first step is to accept the struggle.  Second is to set your mind to what is for you.  Third, do the work.  And remember, you're still here, so you're not done, yet.    About the ReWire Podcast   The ReWire Podcast with Ryan Stewman – Dive into powerful insights as Ryan Stewman, the HardCore Closer, breaks down mental barriers and shares actionable steps to rewire your thoughts.
