Christine has been in the beauty industry for over 31 years and she seriously has the energy of someone that is brand new to the job. Her enthusiasm for what she does is so contagious. I could have talked with her for HOURS and I wish I could have. Rewatching this one made me miss New York and all of the amazing people we met there. Shannon King was born into the beauty industry. His parents owned a salon and he grew up there. He had a first hand view of just exactly how hard it would be to own a salon. His parents kept a positive prospective on the career and him and his siblings ended up in the Beauty Industry too. Shannon graduated from college (the first in his family to do it) after he got his license. He came out of college in zero debt because he did hair to support himself while he was doing it. He owns two salons in Brooklyn and he is working his passion in a space for EVERYONE. His core values matter and he is changing the way people views salons every single day.
