This conversation is all about understanding anatomy, pleasure pathways, and destigmatizing sexual issues that too many people face in silence. We explore the internal clitoral network and why it wasn't included in medical texts until the late 1990s, debunk myths around different types of orgasms (spoiler: they're all connected through internal clitoral structure), and address why penetration alone doesn't cause orgasms for most vulva owners. Emily answers listener questions covering everything from clitoral piercings and vaginismus to rebuilding sexual identity after cancer and chronic yeast infections. This episode includes practical product recommendations like vibrators for sensitive bodies, CBD-infused lubes, and guidance on hormone replacement therapy for vaginal health. Whether you're dealing with pain, dryness, struggling to reach climax, or just want to understand your body better, this episode offers science-backed insights and compassionate guidance for reclaiming your pleasure and sexual confidence. So, something for everyone? Some of the conversation was a bit GH-related. Jason--can a hitman be the moral center of a town? Lulu--can't she just shut up? Chase--does he work out every day? Laura--could she be any more nurturing? Kai--could he be any more naive?

Today on It's Your Life we want you to join us for an empowering conversation with the three visionary founders behind DeoDoc - Dr Hedieh Asadi, Hasti Asadi, and esteemed OB/GYN Professor Dr Gunvor Ekman‑Ordeberg - as they share how a personal health concern grew into a movement to revolutionise female intimate wellness. This episode dives into the personal origins of DeoDoc, beginning with Hasti Asadi's frustrating experience of being dismissed by her doctor when seeking help for persistent intimate odour. That moment sparked a journey for her sister, Dr Hedieh Asadi, who discovered a lack of awareness in the medical community around the vulva's apocrine sweat glands. Together with Professor Gunvor Ekman-Ordeberg, a pioneer in women's health with over 50 years of clinical experience, they created the first-ever doctor-founded intimate care brand made by women, for women. Their products are not only grounded in science but crafted with compassion, each one designed to be vulva-safe, pH-balanced, and stigma-busting. From clinical research to breaking long-held taboos, their work is helping redefine how we care for our most intimate health needs.DeoDoc  isn't just about products - it's a journey through empowerment, science, sisterhood, and advocacy. Whether you've felt dismissed by the healthcare world or simply want to learn more about intimate wellness, you'll be inspired by how these founders turned frustration into innovation, reshaping the conversation around women's health.SHOP DEODOC ON BOOTS: https://www.boots.com/sitesearch?searchTerm=deodoc SHOP DEODOC ON CULT BEAUTY: https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/c/brands/deodoc/

We break the silence around issues like incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain, topics often brushed off or suffered through in silence.
