Please use discretion when deciding to listen to the show and take care of your mental and emotional well-being.On this episode, I had the privilege to sit down for an important discussion, on human trafficking with two amazing guests.Visual artist and Filmmaker, Malinda Baum, and Author, Speaker and Host of the Love& B Loved podcast, Lena Cebula, The Stats24.9 million people are victims of human trafficking globally (2017-2019)16 million people are trafficked for forced labor in the private economy in the US4.8 million people are trafficked for sexual exploitation.The average age of trafficking victims is 12-14, with an estimated total of over 5.5 million trafficked children.Women and girls are disproportionately affected, accounting for 71% of all victims, while boys are also trafficked at around 40%.Online recruitment and grooming increased by 22% during the pandemic.Key TakeawaysHuman trafficking is a serious and widespread problem that encompasses not just sexual exploitation but also forced labor in the private economy.There are more slaves today than there were when slavery was legal ~ Malinda Baum.Trafficking is a problem in all 50 states in the US but states with ports, large airports, and major transportation routes such as Texas, California, Florida, and New York have a higher rate of trafficking.Human and labour trafficking affects boys as well as girls ~Malinda Baum.Boys are more susceptible to trafficking as traffickers find it easier to target them.Recruitment for trafficking often happens through grooming, which can involve building trust with the victim through activities such as sports, online games, and hanging out on the street corner ~ Malinda Baum.For girls, sex trafficking often involves grooming through manipulation, fear, isolation, guilt, and shame ~Lena Cebula.Traffickers often play on our human need for love, belonging, community, and care.Risk factors for human trafficking include dysfunctional families, substance abuse, and mental health issues  ~Lena Cebula. Signs that someone is being traffickedThe signs that someone may be in a trafficking situation, include secretive behavior, depression, paranoia, and changes in behavior such as using drugs or skipping school, grades dropping, unexplainable tattoos, unusual calls, doing things out of their income level and lots more. The local market took a bit of a hit in Friday's trading session, falling 1.6%. That's the biggest fall we've seen in over two months, and this followed Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell indicating that US interest rates are poised to rise higher and faster.Sectors wise, all sectors came under pressure, in particular the materials and tech sectors, which both fell over 2.5%. The healthcare sector however provided the market with some relief, rising 0.5%.Looking at the ASX200 leaderboard, hospitality and liquor group company, Endeavour Group (ASX:EDV) was the biggest gainer, lifting 1.7%, and CSL rose 1.5% after announcing a new $US4 billion debt raising to help fund its $16.4 billion acquisition of Vifor Pharma. Meanwhile, the worst performers were Megaport (ASX:MP1), Paladin Energy (ASX:PDN) and Pointsbet (ASX:PBH).The most traded stocks by Bell Direct clients last Friday included BHP Group (ASX:BHP), Lake Resources (ASX:LKE) and the BetaShares Geared Australian Equity Fund ETF (ASX:GEAR).Moving to the US, all three benchmarks closed in the green. The Dow managed to erase its 500-point intraday loss to close 200 points higher. This follows big tech names like Microsoft, Alphabet and Meta rallying in the afternoon. Twitter also soared after its board accepted Tesla CEO Elon Musk's offer to take it private. What to watch today:Despite the positive session in the US, if you go by the SPI futures, the Aussie share market is set to open 0.3% lower this morning.  In commodities, the growing worries about global energy demand due to the prolonged lockdowns in Shanghai saw the WTI Crude oil price fall below US$100 a barrel. The gold price also dropped, as the potential for aggressive policy tightening by the US Fed weighed down on the haven's appeal. The same can be said for uranium, which is trading over 8% lower. And the spot iron ore price is trading 0.7% lower at US$145 a tonne.Australian lithium exploration company, Lithium Plus Minerals will be debuting on the Aussie share market today. It will be trading under the ticker code LPM.If you're a shareholder in global tech company, Adacel Technologies (ASX:ADA), you can expect to receive your dividend payment today. Trading Ideas: Bell Potter have maintained its BUY rating on coal mining company, Bathurst Resources (ASX:BRL) and have increased its price target from $1.25 to $1.63. At its current share price of $1.12, this implies 45% share price growth in a year.Trading Central has a bearish signal on South32 (ASX:S32), indicating that the stock price may fall from the close of $4.84 to the range of $4.45 - $4.53 in the next 24 days according to standard principals of technical analysis.

El precio del cerdo sigue subiendo en China, la semana pasada quedamos asombrados con el alza de 8%, pues esta semana conmueve al mercado con un alza de 11% respecto a la semana anterior. En este momento el precio es de $US4,68 por kilo de cerdo vivo. En Estados Unidos el precio retrocede debido a que las compras no han sido las suficientes por parte de China, si bien han aumentado significativamente, la oferta que existe aun en el mercado de Norteamérica es muy alta. La gran de demanda de China no es una novedad para contarles, sin embargo en diferentes medios aparecen fotografías y textos que mencionan que la falta de proteína es un problema de estado en China. Con solo ver está fotografía podríamos pensar que la falta de carne es un gran problema en las ciudades China. El Departamento de Agricultura de Estados Unidos (USDA) elevó un informe que pronostica que la producción de carne de cerdo se reducirá un 10% para el 2020, con un total de 95,2 millones de toneladas, si esto ocurre será el volumen más bajo desde hace 13 años (2017). Se espera que los países exportadores serán los que más crecerán, sin embargo el crecimiento no será suficiente para la demanda de China, Vietnam y Filipinas. Además se espera que la producción de carne de cerdo en China se reduzca un 25%, llegando a las 34,8 millones de toneladas. Con la reducción de la cabaña de cerdas de un 40%, le costará mucho abastecerse, por lo que las importaciones serán muy altas y podrían llegar a las 3,5 millones de toneladas. El consumo de carne de cerdo de los Chinos también disminuirá en un 20% para el próximo año, debido a un rechazo por temor a la PPA - a pesar de que no representa un riesgo para la salud humana - y por otra parte los precios altos de la carne están siendo una barrera para comprar en la clase media. Mary and I had an incredible time with Kelly Nunn, All I can say is WOW !!!!
