The Fox News Supreme Court is a political weapon, and it's being wielded to wreck what remains of American democracy. What happens if Trump declares martial law? This week on Gaslit Nation, Andrea interviews Leah Litman, a constitutional law professor at the University of Michigan Law School, co-host of the award-winning Strict Scrutiny podcast, and author of the new book LAWLESS: How the Supreme Court Runs on Conservative Grievance, Fringe Theories, and Bad Vibes. This Court is a multi-decade effort by conservatives to seize power they couldn't win through democratic means. Litman warns about what the Fox News Court is up to. If you thought things were bad, we're staring down a term packed with cases that could fundamentally rewrite public education, religious liberty, and basic civil rights. Take Oklahoma Charter Board v. Drummond. This case actually asks whether the Constitution requires states to allow religious public charter schools. Yes, you read that right: requires. The Establishment Clause prohibits the government from funding religious education. But now, thanks to the conservative justices' persecution complex, where white Christian nationalism is the most oppressed identity in America, obviously, the Court may rule that denying public funding to religious schools is unconstitutional discrimination. Then there's the challenge to a Maryland school district's decision to include LGBTQ+ inclusive books in elementary schools. A group of religious parents is arguing that merely exposing children to stories with queer characters violates their religious freedom. If the Court agrees, it could hand conservative parents a veto power over what public schools teach, effectively outlawing inclusive education if it makes anyone clutch their pearls. What Litman makes clear is that these cases are about redefining public life, turning schools into vehicles for a theocratic agenda. And let's be honest: they're not talking about funding schools for Wiccans or the Church of Satan. This is about establishing a Christian nationalism dictatorship. Yes, it can happen here. Yes, it's happening here. But we are not powerless. Reform is not a fantasy. Term limits. Ethics rules. Court expansion. These are tools, if we find the courage to use them. Because democracy doesn't die in darkness. It's strangled in broad daylight by men in robes, funded by billionaires, and broadcast live on C-SPAN. And if we don't fight back? We're just letting them get away with it. Revelation 13:5-10 unveils a chilling glimpse into the future: the Antichrist's rise to global power. This tyrant will lead a unified world government, deceiving nations with his blasphemous words, miraculous resurrection, and absolute authority. Yet behind his charismatic leadership lies Satan's ultimate agenda to defy God and destroy His people. Stephen Davey explores the Antichrist's reign of global defiance and dominance, showing how he will target believers, persecute the faithful, and demand worship from the world. But even as chaos unfolds, Revelation assures us of God's control. The Antichrist's power is temporary and limited by God's sovereign will. For believers, this passage is a powerful reminder that our names, written in the Lamb's Book of Life, secure our eternal future with Christ. In this episode, Stephen challenges us to discern the spirit of antichrist in our own world and to live boldly for Christ in the time we've been given. Whether you're curious about end-times prophecy or seeking encouragement to live with hope in uncertain times, this message offers both clarity and comfort.
“Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:17 NLT) During the Korean War, a unit known as Baker Company was separated from its regiment, and enemy forces were advancing on it. For several hours, no word came from Baker Company. Finally, radio contact was made. When asked for a report of its situation, Baker Company replied, “The enemy is to the east of us. The enemy is to the west of us. The enemy is to the south of us. The enemy is to the north of us.” Then, after a brief pause, the voice continued, “And this time, we’re not going to let them escape.” Sometimes it seems that way in the life of a believer. The enemy is at every turn. Even so, some believers don’t realize that the Christian life is not a playground, but a battleground. They are oblivious to the fact that a war is raging—and that, in this war, they are either winning or losing. In a battle, it’s always better to be an aggressor instead of a defender. A defender is simply waiting for the enemy’s next attack, hoping he will survive. If we, as believers, are always defending, then the devil is in a superior position. If, on the other hand, we are the ones who are attacking, then we are in the superior position. When the apostle Paul wrote about the armor of God in Ephesians 6, he mentioned one offensive weapon: “The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (verse 17 NLT). Make no mistake about it: There is authority and power in the Word of God. Matthew 4:1–11 tells the story of Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness. Three times the devil tried to get Jesus to do wrong. All three times Jesus countered his attack by quoting the Word of God. The result? “The devil went away” (verse 11 NLT). God’s Word keeps Satan from getting an advantageous battle position in our lives as well. For example, let’s say you’re feeling tempted to do something that you know is wrong. If your first instinct is to turn to 1 Corinthians 10:13 (“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure” NLT), you’ll remember that God stands ready to strengthen you and help you escape. And you’ll have the high ground in your battle with the devil. He will have no solid footing for his attack. That’s how you keep him off-balance: by immersing yourself in Scripture. The devil has nothing in his arsenal that can counter the Bible. God’s Word sticks. God’s Word breaks through. God’s Word impacts. When the enemy has you surrounded, keep him on the defensive with the Word of God. Reflection Question: How can you sharpen your spiritual battle skills using the Word of God? Globalism: One more thing we read about first, in the Bible. In the past there were some monarchs who believed themselves to be king of kings, ruler of the world - but they weren't really. As vast as their empire may have been, it was only the civilized world, or the known world. But there's a man coming who will really subjugate the entire planet. He's a globalist dream-come-true, and a nightmare for everyone else. Here's Jim with the message, Superman Rules the Earth. Él envió a Jesús. Puedes verla a tu alrededor. Revelation 13:3-4 paints a chilling portrait of the Antichrist—Satan's ultimate counterfeit. This global leader will captivate the world with miraculous signs, including a shocking resurrection, and demand worship as a god. Yet behind his rise to power lies a far more sinister agenda: leading humanity into spiritual ruin and rebellion against God. In this episode, Stephen Davey unpacks the parallels between Jesus Christ and the Antichrist, revealing Satan's relentless attempts to counterfeit God's truth. From false miracles to blasphemous claims, the Antichrist will deceive billions, solidifying his rule during the darkest days of human history. But even as the world falls into deception, believers are called to live with discernment and unwavering commitment to the true Messiah. Stephen reminds us that while Satan's counterfeits are convincing, Jesus Christ alone offers salvation and eternal life. If you've ever wondered how to discern truth in a world filled with lies—or how to remain faithful in the face of spiritual deception—this message will challenge and encourage you. Tune in to learn how to identify the spirit of antichrist at work today and stand firm in the hope of Christ's ultimate victory.
Pride...it brought about the fall of Satan and put man at odds with God, resulting in the destruction of man. This is why the role of humility in a Christian's life can hardly be overestimated. Humility undoes the damage of the fall, and God becomes his protector and his friend. The purpose of this podcast is to help you find healing for your wounds; find hope in your despair; find intimacy in your loneliness; find refuge from the storms of life; Basically, to help you find a deeper walk with Jesus. There is one thing I know after having lived all these years: God wastes nothing. Not our sorrows. Not our wounds. Not even our failures. Hi. I am your host, Dennis Jernigan, and I am so excited about the final two installments of the music from my fantasy book series, The Chronicles of Bren: Book One: Captured. The collection of songs is called “Captured: Songs for the Journey.” This week's episode is the story behind the next to last song in the series called, “Battleground.” The story behind this song is really quite simple. This is classic darkness versus the light; good versus evil; truth versus lies; the understanding that true love involves the laying down of life. There came a point in my life on November 7, 1981 where I had to do it decide if Jesus Christ was real; if he thought that I was worth dying for; if I thought he was worth dying for; if he truly loved me or not. I came to the irrefutable conclusion that he thought I was worth dying for; that he thought I was worth fighting for; that he, indeed, had paid for my life and my sin-debt by the shedding of his own blood. In the process, he had gone to battle on my behalf and conquered Satan, hell and its demons, giving me a brand new identity and a brand new start on life in the process. God was no longer a distant, unknowable force of the universe. He was now alive and well and living in my heart, giving me a brand new purpose and a brand new perspective on living out my life in joy. I have now been granted a forever relationship with God who created all that is good. What I soon discovered was just because the enemy had been defeated did not mean that I no longer had to fight for my freedom. I discovered the true battleground of my life was not some thing I could see with flesh and blood. The true Battleground of my life is my mind; the thoughts I think; the perspective through which I run my thoughts. The enemy's only option was to try and trip me up through his deception and lies about who I am. I learned that God had equipped me, as a believer in and follower of Jesus Christ, with the full armor of God and that my greatest weapon against the lies of the enemy is the truth of God's Word. My battle-sword! As I begin to recognize the lies of the enemy, I soon learned the key to renewing my mind. As soon as the lie was revealed to me, I picked up my sword, the Word of God, and replaced that lie with the truth of God's Word. I have since discovered that the enemy does not stop lying to me, so I must be vigilant by putting on the Word of God each and every day of my existence. In fact, I have learned the best thing to do regarding the enemy is to run towards the battle and not away from it. Having read the end of the book, I know who wins. Now you know the story behind the song, ‘Battleground”, let's all pick up our swords and take it to whatever dark lies the enemy has spoken against our minds over the next few minutes. The Truth of God's Word is clear: we are more than conquerors! We are sons and daughters of the Most High God! SONG [Rom 8:37-39 NASB20] 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. I certainly enjoyed writing the three book series, the chronicles of Bren. They honestly helped me get a better grip on Father God's point of view of my life. My hope is that you would discover joy and solace within the pages of the books and the melodies of the songs. May they serve as uplifting companions, guiding you to encounter Jesus even amidst life's toughest trials. We only have one song left to go in this series which has gone by so quickly for me. Be sure and listen to next weeks episode because I think he will enjoy it thoroughly and that it will minister to your soul in someway. Thank you for tuning in to The Dennis Jernigan Podcast. Today's Promise: Colossians 1:13 Because of your faith in Christ, you are part of God's kingdom, the Kingdom of Light. There are two invisible kingdoms in the world: the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of Light. The kingdom of darkness is ruled by Satan and is set on your destruction. The kingdom of light is the kingdom of God and gives life, love, and freedom. The power of sin is broken, and Satan has no claim on you. Through your faith in Christ, you are now a citizen of heaven.
We live in a world where evil runs rampant, sins are accepted publicly, and false prophets have big platforms. Yet in all of this corruption, the enemy, Satan, will still try to keep you from completing your mission in Christ. So today, Pastor JD wants you to know that when you give your life to Jesus, the enemy has no power over you!

Have you ever believed something so deeply, only to discover it was a complete lie—and it nearly ruined you? In this powerful message, we unpack how confidence built on deception can lead to devastating consequences, through the biblical journey of Elijah. Despite witnessing fire from heaven, Elijah spiraled into fear over a single threat—proving that Satan doesn't need to destroy you, he just needs to convince you. Learn how false beliefs become the caves we hide in and why God sometimes whispers instead of shouting. This isn't just a Bible story—it's your story. And it's time to confront the lie that's been driving your life.
CHRISTIAN SOLDIER (EPHESIANS 6:10-24) In almost every century since the creation of man, people have been concerned about war. In fact, if you were to go to Google, that bastion of “so-called” truth, and ask the question, has there ever been a time of total peace on the earth? You get different answers, but the bottom line is, since man was thrown out of the Garden of Eden, there has been little or no times of complete peace on earth. The Bible, the inerrant Word of God, tells us that in the end days, that we are living in today, there will be wars, and rumors of wars. It also says that we will have to wait for the Millennial Kingdom of Christ for there to total peace on earth. So, with good reason, everybody today is worried about war. They're asking, what is happening between Israel and Hamas? What does the Russian invasion of Ukraine mean to us? What about Iran getting a nuclear bomb? What about the president's efforts to stop these wars? Does it mean that America will be forced to go to war? What many Americans do not realize is that we are already at war. It is an invisible war, an unseen war. It is a continuing war between light and darkness, between good and evil, between heaven and hell, between Christ and Antichrist, between God and Satan, and between the church and the world. There is a war, an invisible war, and Satan is our adversary. And he, like a cornered animal that has been wounded and frightened, is letting loose with everything that he has in these last days. And you cannot afford to be ignorant of this war, for to be ignorant is to be unprepared. You cannot afford to try to be neutral, for those who do that, will suffer the most. Click on the play button to hear a message that is a call to arms. The church is not a showboat; it is a battleship. And we need to learn this morning some truths about being a Christian Soldier in the war against Satan's darkness and evil. This is a live recording of The Master's Class Bible Study at LifeChange Church Wichita, KS. Amen.

What is Evil? Different tradition have different ideas. In this compelling Q & A episode of Wisdom of the Sages, Raghunath and Kaustubha explore how the Bhakti tradition understands darkness, Satan, and the concept of evil. Is it a cosmic force? A personal being? Or simply the absence of divine light? Other questions include how to navigate workplace obligations at bars while maintaining spiritual sobriety, and what pure devotional service looks like in today's world. Key Highlights: • Evil explained Bhakti-style: darkness isn't a rival force—it's what happens when we turn away from the light • What to do when your boss schedules meetings in a bar (spoiler: garlic-soaked pizza may also be involved) • Pure devotion demystified: how love shows up in kirtan, service, and yes, even chicken coop assignments • Lessons from Mussolini to CBGB's: the slippery slope of bad choices and the art of guarding your inner light • It's not about being judgmental—but about choosing clarity over compromise
The Tribulation. What is it, and what will it be like? There are many theories behind how things will really go down, but we do know this: The world’s biggest deceiver, Satan, will be running the show. But that's not the end of the story. Because when it’s God vs. evil, God doesn’t just hold his ground—he wins.

We would love to have you with us!Janiece Johnson and Kerry discuss important and hard lessons that are learned in the early Church as they figured out what were appropriate manifestations of the Spirit, and how Satan imitates revelation. They look at how God revealed to His prophet the things they, and we, need to learn in order to avoid being deceived. They help us see the need for growing in our revelatory relationship with God. They explore how misunderstanding God's revelatory process can lead to us being "overthrown", and how we can grow in the light and thus overcoming darkness rather than being overcome by it. They look at how that which is worldly and fallen lead to deception as well. They focus on how Christ is the one who overcomes, and that if we don't come to Christ and accept His light in His way we will be overcome rather than overcoming through Christ. They also look at how important it is to follow the revelation we receive, and how we need to use it to know what voices to listen to and what to accept from the voices around us. Series: 1 John: That You May KnowPreacher: Pastor Anson McMahonThis sermon from 1 John 2:15-17 provides a crucial examination of the Christian's relationship with the world. Anson powerfully unpacks the seemingly paradoxical command to "not love the world," carefully distinguishing this from a hatred of people or creation. Instead, he illuminates "the world" as a Satan-influenced system of values and desires that stand in opposition to God. Through a detailed exploration of the "devil's trinity" – the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life – the sermon reveals the core temptations that lure believers away from a life devoted to God. Ultimately, it contrasts the fleeting nature of worldly satisfaction with the eternal significance of loving and obeying God, urging listeners to choose a path of lasting value.Key Points:The Command Against Worldly Love: An explanation of 1 John 2:15 and the call for believers to resist loving the world and its allurements.Defining "The World" Biblically: Clarification that "the world" in this context refers to a system of values opposed to God, not people or the created order. The "Devil's Trinity" of Worldly Temptations:The Desires of the Flesh (Lust of the Flesh): The pursuit of immediate, sensory gratification that disregards God's will. The Desires of the Eyes (Lust of the Eyes): The temptation towards materialism and coveting based on visual appeal and societal trends. The Pride of Life: The arrogant self-sufficiency that rejects dependence on God and seeks validation through worldly success. The Transitory Nature of Worldly Pleasures: An emphasis on the temporary and ultimately unsatisfying nature of sin and worldly pursuits compared to eternal joy in God.Choosing a Love with Eternal Significance: A strong encouragement to prioritize loving and obeying God, investing in what has lasting value beyond the fleeting nature of the world.Reflect & Discuss:In what specific ways do you see the "desires of the flesh," "desires of the eyes," and "pride of life" manifesting in our culture today? How can believers practically distinguish between enjoying God's creation and loving the world's system? What are some areas in your own life where you might be tempted to love the world or the things in the world more than God?How does understanding the temporary nature of the world impact your priorities and decisions as a Christian?Discuss practical steps you can take to cultivate a greater love for God and resist the allure of the world.Scripture:1 John 2:15-17Genesis 3:62 Samuel 11:2-4Joshua 7:20-21Proverbs 27:201 Timothy 6:9-10John 12:42-432 Timothy 3:2-4John 3:16Psalm 24:1Genesis 2:9James 1:14-15Proverbs 14:12Hebrews 11:25Matthew 16:26John 15:18-191 John 5:19Colossians 3:2Philippians 3:20Keywords:Love, World, Worldliness, Desires of the Flesh, Lust of the Flesh, Desires of the Eyes, Lust of the Eyes, Pride of Life, Temptation, Sin, Eternal Life, Temporary, Values, Culture, God, Obedience, Discipleship.

Humility isn’t thinking less of ourselves—it’s thinking of ourselves rightly in light of who God is.As James 4:10 says:“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” (ESV) We’re not called to grovel or shrink—we’re called to come confidently, as children of the King, with hearts shaped by grace. Key Reflections: Humility isn’t self-deprecation—it’s seeing ourselves as God sees us. God is holy and personal—King on the throne, yet close like a Shepherd. Pride pushes God away, but humility invites His grace (James 4:6). We’re not just forgiven—we’re family: co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). Humility draws us near—we approach God confidently, not fearfully (Hebrews 4:16). A balanced view of self honors God more than false modesty ever could. Join the Conversation: How do you practice humility without falling into false modesty?Has your view of God’s grace helped you stand tall in His presence? Drop a comment on today’s episode or tag your thoughts on Instagram with #LifeAudioNetwork.Let’s grow together in grace—lifting our heads as children of a holy and loving God. Full Transcript Below: Humility Is the Way to God By Sarah Frazer Bible Reading: “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” James 4:10 (ESV) When I think about a humble person I sometimes imagine a great king on his throne. One of the king’s subjects comes into the room. He bows before the king and voices his request. Is this humility? According to the dictionary a person who is humble doesn’t think too highly of themselves. Humility is not weakness or self deprecation. Although some definitions have taken humility to mean that we lower ourselves, humility really means we have a honest view of ourselves and of God. One of the things I love about God is He is both all-powerful and holy. We have a God who sits on the throne of Heaven, orchestrating the entire universe. Colossians says He keeps everything going by the power of His hands. Nothing escapes God’s notice, control, and wisdom. God is perfect in all His ways and only those who are also holy are allowed to enter into His presence. Another aspect of God’s character that is evidence throughout the entire Bible is God’s closeness to us. Our God has also made himself known to us in a way we can understand and find Him. God is described as our Shepherd, Father, and Teacher. Having a relationship with us is a priority for our all-powerful God. God demonstrated through Jesus and He willingness to humble Himself for our sakes. As we we approach God we tend to fall on one side or the other. Either we think we need to only see ourselves as disgraced, unlovable beings before a holy, perfect God. We call ourselves “worms” or “enemies” of God, even after we become Christians. Sometimes we don’t speak up, or speak out because we have a false sense of humility. Thinking low of ourselves is not humility. We do this because we are afraid of the other side of the coin: pride. The Bible warns us over and over again about pride, which is thinking too highly of ourselves. It was pride that caused Satan to fall and sin to enter the world. In our attempts to avoid pride, as we should, we have a false sense of humility. A correct, Biblical view of humility, actually falls in the middle of both of these views. Although we recognize that we came to God from a state of utter helplessness and God is beyond our ability to reach on our own, God humbled Himself so that we now stand with Jesus as co-heirs and children of God. As Christians, we come to God through a humble heart. Proverbs 3:34 says, “Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he gives favor.” (ESV) And Proverbs 15:33 says, “The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor.” (ESV) In the book of James we also see humility mentioned several times. James is said to be the proverbs of the New Testament. James 4:6-10 says: But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” (ESV) Notice that God invites us to draw near to Him, but we do so with pure hearts and this is found through grace. If we are to receive grace from God in order to be able to draw near to God, we must have a balanced view of ourselves. Yes, we are sinners in need of grace. But as Christians, we have accepted Jesus as our Savior and understand that we are now no longer enemies, but friends of God. Our standing before God changes the instant we accept Christ as our Savior. Because our standing before God changes we now can humbly come before God in the proper way. We do not exalt ourselves above God, but we do not degrade ourselves either. Humility means we let God lift us up and no matter what our standing is before the world, we are one of God’s children. God is the King on the throne and we are His. We enter this throne room with confidence, bowing before Him, but then lifting our head to look Him in the face because we are not just a subject, but a child. Intersecting Faith & Life: Hebrews 4:14-16 says, “Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (ESV) How does knowing Jesus stands beside God, advocating for you, give you confidence to come to God with a humble, but also confident heart? “There are a lot of people out there who just don't know how evil the world can be,” says Scott Payne, a retired undercover FBI agent who spent his career infiltrating violent motorcycle gangs and white supremacist groups. After growing up in a Christian home, he briefly fell into Satan worship until an encounter with a real demon sent him running back to his Baptist church. But that wasn't his only face-off with a dark underworld in a career marked by burning Bibles, lighting crosses, and sacrificing goats, while undercover with the KKK and a new strain of young white supremacist chaos agents known as “accelerationists.” He and Glenn discuss George Floyd, Gretchen Whitmer's kidnapping, Aleksandr Dugin, and the humanitarian costs of an open U.S.-Mexico border. Scott reveals the connection between gangs, cults, extremism, and even radical jihad but says he remains an optimist through it all thanks to his family, the prayers of his wife, and his relationship with Jesus. In a time when so many don't trust law enforcement or the FBI, Glenn asks Scott, “Is the FBI good or bad?” You'll have to decide for yourself.
