The cards reviewed include Vanguard Ace, Inferno, Del Meeko, K2SO, Attack Pattern Delta, and Precision Fire. The hosts also answer a listener question about their desired card mechanic. Overall, they express optimism about the game and the community surrounding it. Takeaways Star Wars Unlimited is capturing the attention of players and generating excitement. The community is expected to be welcoming and non-toxic. Thrawn and Boba Fett are predicted to be strong leaders in the set one meta. The release of Star Wars Unlimited is expected to have a successful global launch. The Jedi Lightsaber upgrade is considered a powerful card that can significantly boost a unit's stats. Card abilities and their impact on gameplay are important considerations when evaluating cards. Certain cards, like the Avenger and Ruthless Raider, have powerful abilities that can greatly impact the game. Some cards, like the Cantina Bouncer and Red 3, are strong in specific deck archetypes. The Jawa Scavenger is a valuable card for countering shields and can disrupt certain deck strategies. Vanguard Ace is a versatile card that can be used to rip shields off a target and set up a kill shot. Inferno four is a decent space unit that provides deck filtering and can disrupt opponent's events. Del Meeko is a playable card that can make opponent's events cost more, potentially disrupting combo decks. K2SO is a strong card with overwhelm and a powerful ability when defeated, making it a valuable addition to decks. Attack Pattern Delta is a potentially powerful card that can generate a significant tempo swing, but it is vulnerable to counterplay. Precision Fire is a good event that provides a cheap way to get Saboteur. This episode of Unlocking Levels is extra special. I had the opportunity of teaming up with 2 brothers that I've met along my journey and have developed a true brotherhood with. Cameron A. Sharpe (Host of The Unbiased Truth Podcast), Robert Prasch (Host of Creating Greatness Podcast) and I make the time to collaborate and talk about some highly important topics. It's the first time I've been a part of anything like this. It was a hell of a time creating this episode and it for damn sure won't be the last time. Meet Roy Afflerbach, a huge advocate for Adult Day Services. Roy is the Public Policy Advisor for NADSA and formerly in the legislature in the state of Pennsylvania. Roy has always had an interest in politics. He started his career early when he was in high school, helping campaign for John F. Kennedy. He later continued his campaigning efforts for JFK's younger brother Bobby Kennedy. This is when Roy says he realized he could make a positive difference in people's lives through government. Roy learned about the key attributes of being a CAREpreneur through his work in politics - willpower, dedication, and willfulness. After serving over a decade in the Senate and House of Representatives (plus a short stent as mayor!) Roy opened his own consulting firm. Roy's consulting firm is a public policy advocacy organization that focuses on serving non-profit organizations. After some years and through the power of networking Roy found NADSA. After his own personal experiences with dementia care Roy knew this organization could benefit from his help. Flash forward a few years and Roy has been able to help NADSA make tremendous strides in gaining government legislation and assistance for adult daycare services across the nation. Roy continues to show the United States what it means to be a CAREpreneur and continues to advocate for the senior care industry for many years to come. Thank you Roy for all that you do! #seniorcare #adultdaycare #NADSAconference2021 ____________________________________________________ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Intro 01:57 Roy's backstory 04:04 Roy's consulting business 06:57 Roy meets NADSA 09:06 Roy's passion for Adult Day Care 10:27 What is one thing that has held Adult Day Cares from reaching its full potential? 14:10 What do you foresee the future of senior care being like? 14:21 Current legislation that is trying to be passed 15:48 The key to getting adult day services legislation passed 17:54 Kris praises Roy 18:15 Closing Remarks --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/krischana/message
