Welcome back to The Lawcast! This time our hosts cover the next chapter in The Invasion storyline, Summerslam 2001.Steve Austin has abandoned the WWF. In his absence, an old hero returns as The Rock comes home and a new hero rises and Kurt Angle challenges Austin for the WWF Championship. Rock takes on Booker T for the WCW Championship. Plus we've got Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match for the Hardcore Title, Undertaker and Kane vs. DDP and Kanyon for both Tag Titles, and Lance Storm vs. Edge for the Intercontinental Title.Plus we discuss this weekend's Saturday Night's Main Event and Double or Nothing shows.
It's WCW Thunder in the year 2000 and you know what that means, it's Vince Russo time! On the July 26th, 2000 episode of WCW Thunder, the show opens with the commissioner The Cat getting attacked by the Jung Dragons. This causes the limo driver, MI Smooth, to get pissed and challenge them to a match later that night. The Filthy Animals take on 3 Count, Big Vito battles Lance Storm for the Hardcore Title, and Judy Bagwell wrestles Positively Kanyon! Also, Billy Kidman plays a VHS tape between Shane Douglas and Torrie Wilson where Shane Douglas couldn't get it up. Plus, Goldberg sits down and shoots on turning heel in WCW, tells everyone how he doesn't like wrestling, and that Kevin Nash was booked to beat him. It's a crazy messed up world in WCW on Thunder with Vince Russo booking the entire catastrophe.⦁ Deadlock Discord: https://discord.gg/E4BvR4W⦁ Deadlock Shop: https://shop.deadlockpw.com⦁ Deadlock Patreon: https://patreon.com/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Twitter: https://twitter.com/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Instagram: https://instagram.com/deadlockwrestling⦁ Deadlock Reddit: https://reddit.com/r/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Pro Wrestling: http://deadlockpro.com

Vince Russo may be gone from WWF, but some of his booking philosophy still remains. That's evident here in 2000, which was both a great year and a ridiculously stupid year in Vince McMahon's House of Hunky Men. We have the infamous E&C vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Hardy Boyz TLC match for the WWF Tag Titles on this show, Shane McMahon takes a bump for the highlight reels when he faces Steve Blackman for the Hardcore Title, and The Rock defends the WWF World Title against Triple H and Kurt Angle, who are also feuding over Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. We also have some pretty awful stuff we'd rather soon forget, like Tazz taking on Jerry "The King" Lawler and JR shattering a candy jar over Tazz's head, a Thong Stink Face match between The Cat and Terri Runnels, and a lackluster DX members fight between Road Dogg and X-Pac. In the news, we discuss Vince Russo's issues in WCW, Hulk Hogan's lawsuits against Russo and WCW, WCW and ECW continuing to tank while the rats are jumping off the sinking ships, the Monday Night Raw battle between USA and TNN continues, a Mexican legend is contemplating running for political office, and much more! Vince Russo may be gone from WWF, but some of his booking philosophy still remains. That's evident here in 2000, which was both a great year and a ridiculously stupid year in Vince McMahon's House of Hunky Men. Note: This episode was recorded before the car accident that Dom was in with Joshua Bishop, Derek Dillinger, and Marino Tenaglia over the weekend. Thankfully, it looks like all four of them are going to be fine.Kris and David are joined by "The Bone Collector" Dominic Garrini (@dgarrinibc) to discuss the week that was March 8-14, 2000. We start off with ECW and their Living Dangerously PPV, featuring the original insane New Jack/Vic Grimes scaffold spot, which was scary as hell, as well as Steve Corino going scorched earth on The Sandman's wife, Scotty Anton making his "debut,” the overall crazy booking and terrible production values of the show, Paul Heyman ranting to the Torch, and lots more in a very entertaining section.Next, we move on to the World Wrestling Federation, where Buh Buh Ray Dudley nearly kills Mae Young on an episode of Raw that also saw the return of Vince McMahon after being off TV since Stephanie's heel turn in December, as well asthe Mean Street Posse being awesome while pursuing the Hardcore Title. We also talk some Smackdown, TSN's editing of Raw, L. Brent Bozell wackiness, the Lionel Tate murder case, and even some reviews of Beyond the Mat.Then we go to the UFC for one of their most controversial moments ever, as they announce the main event of their UFC 24 PPV, Kevin Randleman vs. Pedro Rizzo, had to be cancelled due to a freak accident, but didn't announce it until the time for the main event to begin despite knowing for most of the broadcast. Kris has some stories about watching that in real time, particularly with regards to his and his friends' anger at how this went down. We also talk about the rest of the show as well some other MMA happenings.International is next, as All Japan gets bad news about their TV time slot, there's a wacky shoot angle with the Great Muta in New Japan, the Rikidozan Memorial Show takes place featuring Ron Reis as B.B. JONES!!!!!!!!!!!!, Perro Aguayo returns to Arena Mexico after eight years away, Chicky Starr jumps from the WWC to IWAPR, and tons more.We then go back to the U.S.A. for the indie scene, featuring early JAPW and CZW results, Screech showing up on Memphis Championship Wrestling to declare his love for The Kat/Stacy Carter, Dave Meltzer attends an All Pro Wrestling show, and more.WCW closes out the show, as we talk about their big U.K. tour, where morale was in the toilet despite the trip doing very well financially. We also talk about a couple of crazy-assed episodes of Thunder and Nitro featuring Team Package trying to recruit Arn Anderson and so much more insanity that makes it a must listen section.Helluva show here, folks, and a long one, too, so buckle up!!!!Timestamps:0:00:00 ECW1:17:14 WWF & Beyond the Mat2:12:41 UFC2:47:18 Classic Commercial Break2:50:48 Halftime…sort of2:52:03 Japan: AJPW, NJPW, Rikidozan Memorial, Super J-Cup, BattlARTS, FMW, Michinoku Pro, Onita Pro, PRIDE FC, RINGS, AJW, GAEA, & LLPW3:43:13 Latin America: AAA, CMLL, IWRG, & IWAPR3:56:53 Other USA: USA Pro, CWF (NJ), JAPW, CZW, FWA, IWACW, NWA Nashville, MemphisCW, MPPW, & APW4:41:50 WCW6:43:08 Patreon Preview: Bruce Mitchell on Paul Heyman and Eddie Gilbert working promoters and reportersTo support the show and get access to exclusive rewards like special members-only monthly themed shows, go to our Patreon page at Patreon.com/BetweenTheSheets and become an ongoing Patron. 1999 is the year that the WWF really put the nail in the coffin in WCW during the Monday Night War! It's a brand new year and WWF was making moves that the fans really enjoyed, especially tonight. This is the night that Mick Foley, also known as Dude Love, Cactus Jack, and Mankind, won the WWF Championship on RAW IS WAR! Over 600,000 people tuned over from WCW Nitro as they tried to spoil the main event of The Rock vs Mankind. This was a huge blunder for them and this was the final turning point in the battle of WWF vs WCW! Kane also recently joined The Corporation and is forced to do whatever Mr. McMahon tells him to. Another big focal point of the era is the WWF Hardcore Championship. The Road Dogg is the current champion and he defends his title in an epic brawl against Al Snow where they end up fighting outside into a blizzard! August 2nd, 1999: WWF Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is scheduled to face The Undertaker in a No Holds Barred Match for the title tonight.... but new #1 contender Triple-H may have something to say about that. And speaking of The Undertaker, he has enlisted The Big Show as his new tag team partner, and they team up to face Kane & "The Road Dogg" Jesse James. We get a promo duel between The Rock and Billy Gunn, which somehow features a large woman's naked ass on the TitanTron for an uncomfortably long period of time. With Vince McMahon officially gone from The WWF, his son Shane takes it upon himself to disband The Corporate Ministry. However, Shane may have bigger things to worry about now that his sister's boyfriend Test is swearing vengeance on "The Boy Wonder" and The Mean Street Posse. And to prove how serious he is, Test proceeds to beat the living crap out of Rodney. We get a rare Title vs. Title Match as Jeff Jarrett puts his Intercontinental Title on the line against European Champion D'Lo Brown, and the winner takes all! Edge faces Gangrel in a Bloodbath Match -- but whose side is Christian on? The Big Boss Man puts his Hardcore Title on the line against his former Corporate Ministry stablemate Viscera. Val Venis steps into the ring with Steve Blackman.... until Ken Shamrock proceeds to extract some revenge on "The Lethal Weapon." Plus, Hardcore Holly continues his one-man war against The Acolytes, The Nitro Girls get their own pay-per-view, and The Millennium Countdown has only seven days left! Episode Seventy Eight: King of the Ring 2000The year 2000 was a banner year for the WWF and the biggest commercial success of the brand. One of the staple events the King of the Ring however was losing it's luster after a few below par King's were crowned in years gone by. The 2000 King of the Ring went on to highlight the depth of roster by featuring a mammoth 32 men, and one in particular was going to have the greatest debut year in WWF History to that point. So why are Better Call Creative reviewing this event, well it featured a six man tag match...for the WWF Title, and the first..and hopefully only, ever, Hardcore Evening Gown Match for the Hardcore Title between Pat Paterson and Gerald Briscoe. So was this a wrestling gem, or a wrestling nightmare? Find out as Better Call Creative review the whole King of the RIng ppv and tournament and reimagine what the event could have been. A fantasy card featuring 32 other wrestling kings rounds out this royal review of one of the weirdest yet often missed staples of the Wrestling Calendar.

The new millennium had begun and WWE came out the gate swinging with a monster main event for Wrestlemania 2000, featuring HHH defending the title against Mick Foley, The Big Show, and The Rock. Adding to the exciting main event, the Hardcore Title was defended in a 15 minute Battle Royal with close to 20 participants. There was also the foundation for what later that year became the TLC match, when the Dudleyz defending the tag titles against the Hardyz and against Edge and Christian in a Triangle Ladder Match. I wouldn't call this one a "classic," but it was definitely a much better than average show that hardly ever gets talked about. Rob Van Dam and Chris Jericho tear it up for the Hardcore Title, Shane McMahon & Booker T fight to take the WCW Title away from The Rock, there's some 4-team mayhem for the WWF Tag Titles, and Stone Cold defends his WWF Title in the main event against Kurt Angle. The Invasion is still going on here as The Alliance is being led into battle by Stone Cold with only the Olympic gold medalist standing in his way. Oh, and they're in Angle's hometown of Pittsburgh. Also, if you need a bit of a laugh, KroniK looks like they forgot how to wrestle as they take on The Brothers of Destruction for the WCW Tag Titles. Considered by many to be the greatest WrestleMania of all time, WrestleMania X-Seven; X-7; 17 was headlined by Austin/Rock 2 and was known as the night the Texas Rattlesnake turned heel, siding with Mr. McMahon. This was also just 6 days after the simulcast Raw is War and Nitro where Vince and Shane McMahon made public that WCW was officially dead, bought out by the WWF. Vito LoGrasso is one of the most recognized wrestlers of his time! Starting off his career in The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz School of wrestling in 1990, Vito excelled rapidly into the WWF in 1991 as a preliminary wrestler as Big Vito. He faced such superstars as Bret "The Hitman" Hart, The Undertaker, and many others. Vito also went on to work in the USWA and WWC. Vito continued to move forward and was hired by ECW. Vito worked his way quickly up the ladder and then in 1999 Vince Russo, one of Vito's long time friends, had hired Vito to work in WCW. While with the WCW, Vito was a 2 time Tag Team Champion and 2 time Hardcore Champion beating the legendary Terry Funk for the HardCore Title. Vito Wrestled for the XWF with Hulk Hogan and Curt Henning in 2001, Before Gaining International recognition winning the Iron Man Title In Hanover Germany in 2002. After a return to Japan in 2003, Vito teamed up with Genichiro Tenryu in World Japan to form a Great one two punch tag team. In mid 2004, specifically late June, Vito joined TNA Wrestling by helping Trinity defeat Desire in a Stretcher Match at the memorable and historic TNA 2 Year Anniversary Show. He made his impact by jumping out of an ambulance attacking Desire and joining alliances with The New York Connection. Vito worked with Glenn Gilberti, Johnny Swinger, and Trinity throughout the summer, but in September Vito had to leave due to family business. In August of 2005 Vito debuted in the WWE on Velocity to assist newly found ally Nuzio in winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Vito continued to focus on keeping the Cruiserweight Title on Nuzio, and climbing the ranks on Smackdown! After Nuzio won the cruiser weight title, they were dubbed the F.B.I. (Full Blooded Italians). But Big Vito isn't just a wrestler. Vito has modeled a lot throughout the years including a feature spread in Playgirl and now in 2013 has two horror movies in "post production" and has a very long history of appearing in movies and commercials. Acting has always been a passion for Vito and he continues to follow his many passions to the fullest. Behind that tough guy exterior, Vito is a kind, warm-hearted man who dedicates his time to charities, and most of all, his loyal fans. Vito has a great time speaking with his fans and appearing on radio shows and attending events. Vito loves his fans that appreciate his great work, talent and kindness. His fan base is huge and continues to grow as he moves onto the big screen. Vito knows, without the fans, there is no Vito. https://www.patreon.com/jimandcasey https://www.twitter.com/TheBigVitoBrand https://twitter.com/ontheroadwithj3 https://twitter.com/TheRealSCav https://www.twitter.com/guitaristjimbo https://twitter.com/CaseySchearer80 https://www.instagram.com/thebigvitobrand/ https://www.instagram.com/caseyschearer80/ https://www.instagram.com/ontheroadwithjimandcasey/ https://www.instagram.com/guitaristjimbo/ #prowrestling #wrestling #bigvito #vitolograsso #wwe #ecw #japan #wcw #fbi #nunzio #drag #podcasts #nophonypodcastnetwork #podernfamily

Our hosts take a look at the history of the WWF Hardcore Title and watch some of the matches that were the heart of the division. Included are discussions of Raven, his less successful gimmicks, and his TNA run; Rhyno's history and current storyline; RVD's run with the title and what it meant; Undertaker being used to help get new talent over; gimmick sets and the camera work during the matches; and much more.
February 14th / 15th, 1999: Who will be in the main event of "WrestleMania 15"? We find out the answer at "St. Valentine's Day Massacre" and the following night's episode of "Raw," so listen along as Adam from NitroMania joins the show to break it all down! "St. Valentine's Day Massacre" Card: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon in a Steel Cage Match WWF Champion Mankind vs. The Rock in a Last Man Standing Match Triple-H & X-Pac vs. Chyna & Kane WWF Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock vs. Val Venis w/Billy Gunn acting as the special guest referee WWF Tag Team Champions Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart vs. D'Lo Brown & Mark Henry Bob Holly vs. Al Snow for the vacant WWF Hardcore Title The Big Boss Man vs. Mideon Goldust vs. Bluedust February 15th, 1999 "Monday Night Raw": Under pressure from Vince McMahon, Commissioner Shawn Michaels books one final match between WWF Champion Mankind and The Rock: a Ladder Match for the title tonight on "Raw!" And speaking of Mr. McMahon, "Stone Cold" may have gotten the better of him last night, but the chairman has another trick up his sleeve when he appoints a special guest referee for the main event of "WrestleMania": new WWF signee Paul Wight! Triple-H & X-Pac face the team of Kane & Shane McMahon in a tag match with a rather interesting stipulation: X-Pac's European Title is on the line. Val Venis puts his newly-won Intercontinental Title on the line against Billy Gunn, and "The Big Valbowski" has some unfortunate news for Ryan Shamrock after the match concludes. Kevin Kelly conducts an interview with WWF Women's Champion Sable, who appears to have a bit of a new attitude. Corporation members The Big Boss Man, Test, and Ken Shamrock face Ministry of Darkness members The Acolytes & Mideon in a six-man tag team match which ends up being overshadowed by The Undertaker's new plot to take over the WWF. Bob Holly defends his Hardcore Title against Steve Blackman, but then he receives a surprise after the match when a former tag team partner returns after a six-month absence. Jeff Jarrett & Debra team up to face D'Lo Brown & Ivory in an intergender tag team match. Meanwhile over on "Nitro," Hulk Hogan wrestles "Rowdy" Roddy Piper on free television with literally ZERO build-up, the nWo leaves Ric Flair for dead in a field, and Bret Hart steps into the ring with a cast member from "Mad TV" for some reason! Take a look into Tough Enough as Bruce discusses the judges, the contestants, and how the decision to bring it to SmackDown upset the veterans. Of course Bruce has an opinion on how the "incident" with Angle took place as well. Why did Puder win? Once he did, how did the veterans treat him? What really happened at the Royal Rumble? Why didn't they ever do anything with him and Angle? What is their relationship like now? We discuss OVW, the letter he got by "accident" and then of course we break down why it didn't last, the true details of the $1M contract, and take your questions. Then we continue our doubleheader with a complete breakdown of the Hardcore Title. Who had the idea? Why was it done? Who benefited the most? We exam some of the more memorable moments with the title, the guys who helped make it matter, and the times where it all just became hard to follow. From Mick Foley to Crash Holly to Rob Van Dam, we cover all things Hardcore Title in a very unique Something to Wrestle! Have a question for our William Regal episode next week? January 4th, 1999: This may be the most pivotal night in the history of The Monday Night Wars, so we needed to bring in William Renken from The New Blood Rising Podcast to help make sense of it all! We cover both "Raw" and "Nitro" in this mega-episode, so get ready for the definitive breakdown of this monumental night of professional wrestling! "Monday Night Raw": Vince McMahon refuses Mankind's request to be the #1 contender for The Rock's WWF Title at the "Royal Rumble," but he does allow him to compete for a spot in the Rumble match itself. There's just one catch -- Mankind must face Triple-H in a match where the special guest referee is the man who Mick Foley beat up a few weeks ago: Shane McMahon. It would appear the deck is stacked against Mankind...... until he reveals that he may have some tricks up his sleeve before the night is over. Having been fired from his commissioner position last week, Shawn Michaels sticks it to Mr. McMahon by promising to provide him with a "Stone Cold surprise" before the night is over. Meanwhile, D-Generation-X welcomes Shawn back into the group..... but is DX really willing to forgive HBK's past transgressions? Edge and D'Lo Brown have a very solid match until it comes to a screeching halt when the pregnant Terri Runnels suffers a devastating personal tragedy. Goldust goes one-on-one with Mark Henry, who is frequently distracted by Chyna and her friend Sammy. "The Road Dogg" Jesse James defends his Hardcore Title against Al Snow in a match where both men end up brawling outdoors while it's snowing! WWF Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock faces Steve Blackman in a non-title match. Kane is ordered to compete in a Handicap Match against two very reluctant participants. The Godfather steps into the ring with Test in what is actually "The Corporate Enforcer's" first ever singles match on "Raw." Plus, Dan "The Beast" Severn sets his sights on a familiar rival and Dennis Knight is shackled in a dungeon somewhere! "WCW Monday Nitro": Kevin Nash is scheduled to defend his WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Goldberg in a rematch from "Starrcade," but that match may be put in doubt when Goldberg is arrested under susupicious circumstances. Fortunately, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan is in the building tonight so he may be able to fill in if Goldberg is unable to compete. Ric Flair will be in charge of WCW for the next 90 days, and he proceeds to shake things up right away with his "State of the Sport Address." WCW Television Champion Scott Steiner defends his title against Konnan in a bout you probably not bother to watch. Chris Jericho goes up against Perry Saturn in a match which has one of the most confusing finishes you're ever likely to see. WCW Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman teams up with Rey Mysterio to face LWO members Juventud Guerrera & Psychosis in what is easily the best part of the show. We get the dream match we never knew we wanted: Benoit vs. Hogan! (well okay, Chris Benoit is actually facing HORACE Hogan) Bryan Clark steps into the ring with the massively popular Diamond Dallas Page. Chavo Guerrero and Norman Smiley go head-to-head, with the highlight being Norman's incredibly inappropriate dance called "The Big Wiggle." Wrath issues an open challenge, which ends up being accepted by a former "WrestleMania" main eventer. Booker T quickly squashes Emory Hale because that is the only appropriate outcome for such a match. Glacier squares off with Hugh Morrus in a battle of two depressing gimmicks. Plus, a 12-year-old Charlotte Flair makes her first on-camera appearance, Eddie Guerrero suffers a horrendous real-life injury, and Tony Schiavone delivers a line that will unfortunately come to define his entire career! December 28th, 1998: Because Shawn Michaels refused to help out Shane McMahon last week, Vince McMahon vows to fire him live on "Raw" tonight only five short weeks into HBK's tenure as commissioner! "The Road Dogg" Jesse James is initially booked to defend his Hardcore Title against Val Venis, but Vince replaces Val with Mankind in an attempt to drive a wedge between DX and Foley. Two months after vacating the Intercontinental Title, Triple-H gets a chance to regain the belt when he takes on reigning champion Ken Shamrock. In another DX vs. Corporation match, X-Pac puts his European Title on the line against The Big Boss Man. And in a third match between the two stables, DX member Billy Gunn goes one-on-one with the newest member of The Corporation: Kane. The newly-named Pretty Mean Sisters seek to continue their torment of Mark Henry, but "The World's Strongest Man" receives some unexpected back-up from his "girlfriend" Chyna. Sable is scheduled to defend her WWF Women's Championship against..... The Spider Lady? Owen Hart & Jeff Jarrett team up to face the unlikely team of Steve Blackman & Goldust. Edge steps into the ring with a still-covered-in-blood Al Snow, who apparently hasn't bathed since he received a bloodbath 13 days ago. Plus, Shane helps Vince train for the Royal Rumble match in an amusing montage, Dan "The Beast" Severn makes a surprise return, and an unsuspecting Dennis Knight comes to the arena because "He" told him to be there. Meanwhile over in WCW, Kevin Nash ends Goldberg's winning streak at "Starrcade 1998" and Ric Flair challenges Eric Bischoff on "Nitro" for control of the company! Enjoying the Podcast? November 30th, 1998: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin wants payback on The Undertaker for his actions over the past few weeks, and he enlists an unlikely ally to help him do it. Unfortunately for Paul Bearer, this results in him being thrown into a very undesirable location. Chyna agrees to go on a date with Mark Henry in order to get him to drop his sexual harassment lawsuit against her, but is "The Ninth Wonder of the World" actually warming up to Mark's advances? In a non-title match, WWF Champion The Rock goes one-on-one with Al Snow because he only steps into the ring with the best of the best. Mankind is forced to defend his coveted Hardcore Title against The Big Boss Man in what is only the sixth ever Ladder Match in WWF history. After last week's swerve, X-Pac calls out new WWF Commissioner Shawn Michaels, which results in HBK forcing him to defend his European Title tonight against Ken Shamrock. Gangrel & Edge team up to take on Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws, who are still being recruited to join The Corporation. Goldust steps into the ring with Jeff Jarrett as the "retired" Owen Hart looks on from ringside. A disgruntled Marc Mero puts his career on the line against -- of all people -- Duane Gill, but the Light Heavyweight Champion has some back-up in the form of a debuting weirdo from ECW. Val Venis takes on Tiger Ali Singh in a match which ends up being horrendously overbooked despite the fact that it only lasts for about three minutes. Shane McMahon forces WWF Women's Champion Sable to return to her roots and model WWF merchandise, and this particular product is rather unusual. Plus, a popular wrestler makes a surprise return, The Blue Blazer unmasks himself, and a 22-year-old Stephanie McMahon makes a random appearance backstage! Meanwhile over in WCW, Hulk Hogan retires from wrestling just a month before "Starrcade" in order to run for President of the United States. Enjoying the Podcast? November 23rd, 1998: Sgt. Slaughter has decided to step down from his commissioner role, so Vince McMahon appoints a replacement: the returning Shawn Michaels! However, that may prove to be the wrong decision for Mr. McMahon as HBK's first order of business is to schedule "The Corporate Champion" The Rock to defend his WWF Title against X-Pac! "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is hospitalized with a concussion after being hit with a shovel by The Undertaker last week, and The Dead Man then proceeds to continue his carnage by abducting Austin from the medical facility. Mankind is ordered to defend his beloved Hardcore Title in a Triple Threat Match against Corporation members Ken Shamrock and The Big Boss Man. In a non-title match, WWF Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws go head-to-head with J.O.B. Squad members Bob Holly & Scorpio. Edge & Gangrel square off with D'Lo Brown & Mark Henry in what turns out to be a very solid heel vs. heel match. And speaking of The Brood, WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Christian puts his title on the line against ultimate underdog Duane Gill. Goldust faces "Marvelous" Marc Mero while each man's former valet looks on from ringside. Steve Blackman steps into the ring with The Blue Blazer.... but who is inside the costume? The Headbangers take on Oddities members Kurrgan & Golga as The Insane Clown Posse proceed to make their presence felt from ringside. The Godfather is scheduled to face Tiger Ali Singh, but a pre-match interruption from an angry Steven Regal may change those plans. Plus, Chyna tries to put an end to the sexual harassment lawsuit which was filed against her, a leaf-blower is used as a weapon by multiple people, and Kane makes a surprise appearance!
