Move aside, Mark Lewisohn. It's SPIZERTIME. That's right. At long last, the Beatles have announced a new 8 LP box set of the U.S. Beatles records they're (dubiously) calling "The Beatles: 1964 Albums in Mono". T.J.'s first phone call was to the Venture at North Ave. and Kostner to pre-order his box set. His next call was to his doctor, to address a sudden and impolite-to-discuss medical condition lasting longer than 4 hours. #ringthebonephone And his third (and arguably most important) call was to his pal Tony so they could compare their hopes and dreams for the impending November release. [Editor's note: T.J. impending release joke #REDACTED] They also cover the truly pressing questions, like:

Welcome to my podcast. I am Doctor Warrick Bishop, and I want to help you to live as well as possible for as long as possible. I'm a practising cardiologist, best-selling author, keynote speaker, and the creator of The Healthy Heart Network. I have over 20 years as a specialist cardiologist and a private practice of over 10,000 patients. The episode discusses reduced carbohydrate diets and their effects on cardiovascular health. While such diets may help with weight control and blood sugar levels, there is debate around their long-term safety, especially for those with heart disease or diabetes. Saturated fat intake is known to raise LDL cholesterol, which can increase heart risks. However, monounsaturated fats may be more favorable. The experts discuss how individual responses to diet and cholesterol-lowering medications can vary greatly. They agree these diets can be appropriate for healthy people without heart conditions, but more research is still needed on long-term outcomes. The potential benefits must be weighed against risks for each individual patient.
This episode discusses LDL cholesterol and its link to coronary artery disease. While LDL is generally considered a risk factor, it may not predict outcomes for every individual. Different types of LDL particles can vary in their risks, with smaller, denser particles posing more issues. Triglyceride levels were also noted as important. Guest Doctor Sangster shared how investigating particle size led to insights. Lowering LDL through diet, statins, or other means seemed to provide benefits to those with demonstrated artery problems.
0 mins This one is pretty rough in the beginning. If you want to go directly to the bbq talk forward to minute 20:00. Join us for an action-packed episode as Jaime, Hiram, and I welcome our guest Mary to talk about some headlines. The RSB Podcast cruise is gaining traction as some of our fans say they will join. Mary doesn't care what Tom Brady and Kim Kardasian do with their lives as she got her own to worry about. Briney Spears wants an apology from the Spurs. I ask the crew if they would try the 20 slice cheeseburger from Burger King. Kostner settles his divorce for $150K.20:00 mins BBQ Time - I go back to one of our favorite places in the Rio Grande Valley, GW BBQ and try some chicken fried brisket. I get a glimpse of the dino rib that they sell on Saturdays. I have a not so great experience at Longhorn Steakhouse where I get served a hockey puck instead of a steak. Hiram gives the cold sear steak method a try once again and just like before it's a winner. It's official we are going to the American Royal BBQ in Kansas City. 30:00 Hiram takes us behind the red carpet as we talk Johah Hill in the news being gaslighted by his ex-girlfriend for being too controlling. Hiram thinks this will affect his acting career. Jaime doesn't share the same views. 40:00 Hiram plans to come down to visit as we prepare for our Island getaway.

Stephen Bekoe was born on the westside of Chicago. As a child, Bekoe grew up on Kostner & Kenneth also known as the Ktown area. This area was high in crime, drug operations, and prostitution. As Bekoe started elementary school. He started out an honor roll student. He was known for having an aggressive attitude which led him to getting kicked out of Sumner Academy elementary, and moving with his father to Bolingbrook, Illinois. Even with all the negative things going on. Bekoe’s father kept music a tool for success. His father traveled from Ghana to America to pursue his dream of music with his band. While Bekoe was growing up, he sat in studio sessions, attended concerts, and watched his father in rehearsals with his band. He quickly became familiar with the music industry and the sacrifice it took to be a successful musician. “What influenced me is how much work I saw being put into just one song or an entire album. I knew then that I wanted to carry the torch and build my empire in music in America.” While growing up, Bekoe was introduced to various different kinds of music. Listening to R&B, soul, jazz, “good feeling music”, put something inside of Bekoe that he can’t describe. It brought him a clear vision of what he wanted to create through music. He was already exposed to living a musician lifestyle and he always knew that he had to work hard to get where he wanted to go. In his teenage years, Bekoe began to write poetry more and more. He would sit in class while consistently thinking of words that rhyme. In high school during lunch, he and his friends would bang on lunch tables to make different beats. Bekoe started to create instrumentals and felt an urge to begin writing and recording his own songs. In 2008 Bekoe graduate Bolingbrook High school and attended College of Dupage where he started recording freestyles, and writing songs in between classes. It wasn’t until 2009 when Bekoe met Tracy gardener and recorded his first song titled Goof Ball. He let a lot of people listen to it and got feedback that he wasn’t expecting. His listeners absolutely loved the song, while Bekoe didn’t think it was his best work. They kept asking him why his song wasn’t on the radio yet. This however, showed him that he was onto something and it koe continued to work on his music and wrote Bounce. This song had more of upbeat tempo, his listeners wanted to hear more, and that pushed Bekoe to continue growing. Not too long of time after, Bekoe stepped outside of himself and told a story about who he is and where he is from. This is when Bekoe started his own movement. His newest single iLLANOiZE is his anthem. Bekoe wrote the song in 2012 but he didn’t take things serious with it until 2013 when he recorded a video for it. Before going to perform at a show, Bekoe went to a custom t-shirt shop to get a shirt made. The shirt read “ILLANOIZE” and when he got to the show, everyone was asking him about it. This is where the demand for “iLLANOiZE” became extreme. This led to his clothing line called “iLLANOiZE” that sells different types of clothing ranging from hooded sweatshirts for adults to t-shirts for children. “Some people don’t even know that I am the creator. They think I work for the company when they see me wearing the clothes. That’s how great the marketing is.” Currently, Bekoe is working on iLLANOiZE mixtape which will have an album feel to it. The songs will be based on his everyday life issues of living in Chicago. He also will have visuals of artists as well as the city of Chicago. In the past he has worked with artists such as L Streets, Dreezy (Chicago), AzaeProduction (Videographer of Chicago), Sinna Video Vixen (Chicago) and Dj Freddy B (Chicago Heavy Hittas). Bekoe plans to work with many more artists and continue to strengthen his craft. Radio One Chicago airs live every Thursday night at 6p cst on WLUW-FM, 88.7f or WLUW.ORG

To start Episode 29, we learn that Bill was not sure about following thru on the entirety of the film. Social media handles get some discussion this week. Sure Pervis was never nervous, but maybe not for the reasons you'd imagine. We're still in the car and 2 minutes in the Buick "middle manager" feels like a goddamned eternity. Shelly ain't got money in his wallet or anywhere else. The fellas wonder what exactly is in Shellys wallet? Shelly employs the last bastion of the outmoded guy. Bill will have lunch, before he's back from lunch. Mamet goes to lunch often in his scripts. Kostner was... fiery??? The answer is yes, so the fellas cast him. No one cares that Shelly bought his boss a trip to Bermuda 20 years ago. Williamson damn near brings Shelly to tears. Bill swears he's better than SOME people. Matt is NOT going into that back office if Charles Oakley is back there waitin on him? Maybe it's been Williamson holding Shelly back this whole time. Ray Ray Liotta gets some love from he boys. Matt is opting out of Bill's "buncha amateur Rich Littles" direction for the VO table read. The boys imagine being the "Lemon wetter" for all these rain scenes and they decide no one wants to be a Lemon wetter. The fellas clumsily fade into a "Regarding Henry" discussion on they're way out this week, and frankly, even in the moment they do seem contrite about it, so cut em some slack, eh?

This week we chat with elementary's newest employee, Blake Kostner, about web development, getting started with Vala programming, what the latest point release of Ubuntu means for elementary OS, and more.
Two words, Kevin Kostner. Now you know why we’ve watched this film. Armin Mortazavi, one of the awesome people we met during the Montreal Sauce podcast live from CDM graciously joined us to experience Waterworld. Where can you watch it? (Or, avoid it?) Buy the Blu-Ray Or stream it: iTunes Amazon Here’s our notes, although be warned, they got wet and were hard to transcribe: Water is expensive. In 1995, this was the most expensive movie to date until Titanic was made two years later. Batman Forever made more money than this film at the box office. Yet, Waterworld finished above great films like Braveheart and Outbreak. There’s a live Waterworld show at Universal Studios theme park? According to Wikipedia it was award winning and ran for 10 years. This film is bold in its world-building, but cartoonish like a USA Up All Night movie, something like Hell Comes To Frogtown. Armin drops science on us. Why not convert sea water to drinking water instead of urine? Who does Kostner think he is, Chris Hadfield? Chris calls the film Von Dutch Punk. There’s lots of lipstick in the dystopian future for Jeanne Tripplehorn. Michael Jeter speaks his own strange language in this film, much like in The Green Mile. Is it recycling or Soylent Green? Dennis Hopper is our satirical villain and sort of fun. Baymax in Big Hero 6 has more dialogue than Kostner in this film. When Chris berates the little girl’s drawing, Arturo in the chatroom chimes in to ask, “How many opportunities does one get to draw on a Waterworld. Armin says Kostner is taking Tripplehorn to Futurama’s old New York. The guys are confused that people don’t remember dry land but do remember Captain Joseph Hazelwood. Kostner does the rear axle movie trick to an airplane? Paul wonders if Waterworld is the sequel to Zardoz. Armin’s review, “I don’t even know why I am watching this?” Chris says this is no Space Truckers which is not saying much. Lots of fun lore included on the imdb page and Wikipedia page for this film. Armin suggests that you watch Blade Runner instead of this film. If you see have seen Waterworld, Paul suggests that you watch Armageddon and pretend Michael Bay directed both. If you haven’t seen it, watch Splash instead. Chris suggests Damnation Alley for your post apocalyptic needs or The Incredible Mr. Limpet if you’re into fish-people. Thanks to Armin for joining the guys. Check out his “cartoon endeavors” at biasedcat.blogspot.ca. Hopefully, we can get Armin back if he wasn’t scared away by the Kostner film.
