Welcome back to our series where we curate what we think are the best 40 minutes of music from an underrated band's career ... with headbangers and hard rockers in mind (ie. you won't be hearing many ballads!). Basically, it's what we'd put on a single vinyl release (being limited to 20 minutes per side) if we were asked to put a Best Of record together to convince the uninitiated long haired miscreant that this band is worth checking out. This episode is dedicated to Canadian psych/hard rockers ... Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush. Criminally underrated, the band's mix of psychedelia, blues, jazz and hard rock was accentuated by the inclusion of who I believe is the greatest guitarist of all time, one Frank Marino. However, here we focus on the hard stuff from the 80s for you metalheads. Rest assured that a juggernaut is comin' your way. Go strange!!! “If we can truly recognise the living hope we have in God, to that same extent we are to live our lives in fear and reverence of Him.” - @janicechinchern In today's continuation in our study of 1 Peter, Ps. Janice spoke on Our Hope & Our Way of Life. In 1 Peter 13, Peter tells us to “gird up the loins of our mind, be sober and rest your hope fully upon the grace… at the revelation of Jesus Christ”, which is a command to prepare our minds for action to live a life that's holy and conforms to the image of Jesus. Let God enable you to conduct yourself with fear and reverence towards Him, for your life to be shaped by the heavenly hope that only He can provide, and for you to be holy just as He is holy.

Sermon title - Our Way of Life Key Scripture passage - Delightfully loved ones, if he loved us with such tremendous love, then “loving one another” should be our way of life! (1 John 4:11) Sermon description - Our way of life is to receive the love of God and then pour that same love out to others. True love is an action verb! We cannot say we love God and not love each other. God is love, and He lives within us!

Matt Cady is an extremely creative, versatile, and dynamic choreographer and artistic instigator. Madonna said of his movement: “It’s pristine.. wonderful staging.” Adi Salant, Co-Artistic Director of Batsheva Dance Company, remarked: “His movement is very smart.” An young introverted Matt started expressing himself in Sign Language freshman year of high school, which blossomed his interest in theater and ultimately modern dance. In college, Matt double majored in Deaf Studies and Dance, dropping out after two years to pursue an apprenticeship at Millennium Dance Complex, needing to enrich himself in the ever changing culture of the commercial LA dance scene. After being offered his own class at Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Matt’s professional choreographic career took off with the success of his company Fanny Pak on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. This is where he met supervising choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo, whom gave him his first taste at choreographing for a touring show with ABDC Live. Matt went on to contribute choreography under Chonique Sneed and Lisette Bustamante for Ricky Martin’s World Tour and Britney Spears’ Femme Fatal Tour, which is where he first met tour director Jamie King, whom he would work under years later on Madonna’s tours. Meanwhile, Fanny Pak’s success catapulted being the only dance company to ever win a MTV Video Music Award. They were enlisted for several music videos, Yelle’s “Que Vuex Tu/Safari Disco Club,” Lil Mama’s “Truly In Love,” Patrica Kazadi’s “Go Crazy,” and soulful icon Toni Braxton’s “You Make My Heart.” The movie Honey 2 was Fanny Pak’s cinematic debut, directed by Billy Woodruff. Off screen, Fanny Pak was commissioned for corporate events and collaborations with Canon Electronics, toy makers Hasbro, TeenVogue, MetroPark Clothing, and the hugely popular dairy company, WhiteWave. Continuing in the cinematic world, Pepsi sponsored a short film through USC which Matt choreographed called “Beth Hooper and the Super Awesome Dance Battle.” Matt’s most favorite of his collaborations are with colleague Megan Lawson, whose initial teamwork was scoped by Madonna herself off of a youtube video. Together, they choreographed multiple numbers for her most recent tours MDNA and Rebel Heart, including the tension filled blood bath Gangbang, and “..broadway worthy..” opening number Iconic. Most recently Matt and Meg were commissioned to create dance works for Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman Tour, Ricky Martin’s All In Vegas Residency, brotherly duo Mak + Val’s (from Dancing With the Stars) touring show Our Way, and Katy Perry’s “Bon Appetite” music video. Matt’s ability to materialize an intention and translate his movement across such a spectrum has made him a sought after collaborator and dance instructor, having worked on several American and international dance conventions as well as in studio workshops.
Ontological Coaching is characterized by coaching to Way of Being. Our Way of Being is the underlying driver of communication and behaviour. Our perceptions and attitudes, many of which may be deep-seated and out of awareness, exist in our Way of Being. Change in these perceptions and attitudes can result in the removal of significant barriers to learning, and the spontaneous development of more effective patterns of communication and behaviour. Way of Being is regarded as a dynamic interrelationship between three areas of human existence – language, emotions, and body. Coaching in all three areas of language, emotions, and body has the potential to be transformative, for it can generate profound learning and deep constructive change. America's Cultural Revolution is working to undermine the Rule of Law in America. Learn how radical Leftists, Democrats, and Islamists have joined forces and why. OUR WAY of LIFE is UNDER ASSAULT! PHILIP HANEY, the late DHS intelligence official and I spoke concerning this very issue last year. In fact, a Fatwa, issued by the ASSEMBLY of MUSLIM JURISTS of AMERICA has authorized, indeed, instructed Islamists to form alliances with Leftist organizations. The goal is a civilizational jihad rooted in "hatred for infidel legal systems." And of course, America's legal system is enforced by law enforcement officials from the United States executive branch of government on down to local police departments. This has led to an assault on our culture and its institutions. Learn how individuals are working to undermine America's Judeo-Christian society and the principles which form the bedrock of the Rule of Law. Becky and Karen are in the news a lot these days, but you might be wondering, who are they? Am I a Becky or am I a Karen? And why does it matter? Can’t I just be me with my opinions, stands, commitments, and beliefs? Good questions. Here’s the deal. We’ve all had moments of frustration when we wished someone could just see or do things OUR WAY and life would be oh so much better if everyone would just fall in line. But Beckys and Karens occupy only the white spectrum on the color wheel of life. Is there a third way? In this episode, you’ll learn how to open yourself to new points of view and why you need awareness and feedback for your personal growth. You’ll also learn the difference between a Becky and a Karen (it matters).
When we asked Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Jonathan Sherman what he would want if he could be granted one professional wish, his answer surprised us at first."I would want everyone to participate in premarital or early marital counseling."As the conversation went on, it became obvious why!In this episode of the podcast, Jonathan paints a picture of just how big of an impact this would have on not only our relationships, but on our society for generations to come. He shows us how having a simple "Our Way" marriage plan can set a couple up for not just a "good" marriage that doesn't end in divorce, but an amazing and enviable marriage you never thought possible.Regardless of what stage your relationship is in, get ready for some serious "Ah Ha" moments!
First Draft Episode #214: Jason Reynolds Jason Reynolds is the New York Times bestselling author of the Ghost series (Ghost, Patina, Sunny, Lu), When I Was the Greatest, The Boy in the Black Suit, As Brave As You, Miles Morales: Spider Man, Long Way Down, For Every One, Look Both Ways, and co-author of All American Boys (with Brendan Kiely, listen to his First Draft interview here) and Stamped: Racism, Anti-Racism, and You (with Ibram X. Kendi),. In January, Jason was named the seventh National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature for 2020-2021. Links and Topics Mentioned In This Episode Jason didn’t grow up writing prose, but he and all his friends had rhyme books where they would write lyrics. They wanted to be the next Nas, Slick Rick, Run DMC, Big Daddy Kane, or Rakim. Jason’s aunt would give him classic books as gifts, including Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott Bob Marley’s “Kaya,” Nina Simone’s “Four Women,” Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” were hugely influential on Jason because of the beauty of the lyrics Jason teamed up with the artist and writer Jason Douglas Griffin for an early book, My Name is Jason. Mine Too: Our Story. Our Way. Jason credits Joanna Cotler, author and artist, and then publisher of her own imprint at HarperCollins, with teaching him how to write narrative and gave him the mantra: “Your intuition will take you farther than your education ever will.” Jacqueline Woodson (author of Brown Girl Dreaming, winner of the National Book Award, the Coretta Scott King Award, and Newberry Honor winner), Rita Williams-Garcia (author of Clayton Byrd Goes Underground, a National Book Award finalist), and Walter Dean Myers (author of more than 100 books for young people, including Monster, winner of the Printz Award, the Coretta Scott King Award, and National Book Award, and more) are people Jason considers predecessors to his career. Christopher Myers, writer, artist, and the son of Walter Dean Myers, pressed Jason to return to writing, to carry on his father’s legacy. At Christopher’s urging, Jason read The Young Landlords by Walter Dean Myers (which the TV show 227 was based on) Caitlyn Dlouhy, Vice President & Editorial Director of Caitlyn Dlouhy Books, nurtured Jason’s career by focusing on the integrity of his work Laurie Halse Anderson (author of Speak and The Impossible Knife of Memory), Eliot Schrefer (author of Threatened, a National Book Award finalist), and Gene Luen Yang (author and illustrator of American Born Chinese), and Jason also shouts out Sharon Draper’s New York Times bestselling Stella by Starlight Jason references part of Walt Whitman’s Song of Myself: “Unscrew the locks from the doors! Unscrew the doors themselves from their jambs!” Jason admires writers who use verse for all or many of their books, specifically Kwame Alexander (poet and educator, and New York Times bestselling author of The Crossover: A Novel, winner of the Newbery Medal and a Coretta Scott King Honor) and Ellen Hopkins (New York Times bestselling author of Crank) Alfred Hitchcock’s works (including Psycho and Rear Window), and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining are examples of subtle ways that framing and design can make a viewer feel uncomfortable. Quincy Jones said about producing music, “I always say you have to leave space for God to walk into the room.” That’s how Jason feels about the appearance of poetry in text. The first scene of Boyz ‘n the Hood shows one kid asking another, “Do you want to see a dead body?” Fresh Ink: An Anthology, edited by Lamar Giles (author of Fake ID and Spin), and Black Enough: Stories of Being Young & Black in America, edited by Ibi Zoboi (author of American Street, a National Book Award finalist, and Pride) are among the anthologies that Jason thinks are wonderful. He wonders why we’ve moved away from the short story format for younger readers. The TV show High Maintenance is another example of vignette storytelling that Jason was going for with Look Both Ways Jason shouts out Jennifer Buehler, Ph.D., Associate Professor at St. Louis University, Educational Studies who specializes in young adult literature Jason’s friend and co-author of All American Boys, Brendan Keily (author of Tradition, listen to his First Draft episode here), refers to the story under the story as “vertical narrative” I want to hear from you! The Circle of Hope pastor's start out with a little talkback, pondering answers to the question this week from our Instagram: "What strategies have you used to pay attention?" Setting timers, standing, coffee, making and keeping routines, doing chores, and many more are considered, as well as a few of their own ideas on what they do to help with focus and concentration. Later, the pastors do a deep dive into the Enneagram, discussing the great wisdom learned from it, their use of it as a helpful tool in spiritual development and personal growth. They regard some of the dangers and pitfalls as well. They end their time with what's been nourishing their souls: a poem from Malcom Guite, a Bible study and reflection tool, a new socially conscious Instagram, the Chicago Bulls...All this and more on Resist and Restore! The original quote was “We have met the enemy and he is ours” was from Admiral Perry after his defeat of the British Royal Navy in 1813. All right Front Seat Lifers. I am coming to you hoarse, a little bit exhausted and FULL OF LOVE and excitement. I am in Laguna Beach, and just this morning, I finished my MASTERMIND with Kate Northrup. She is my coach for 2020 and I want to share with you my big takeaways from the three days with my mastermind. This Mastermind was with Kate and ten inspiring, INCREDIBLE women. I was very humbled to be in the presence of these women, and Kate brought in a guest speaker. The one, the only, Amy Porterfield. It was kind of an “over-the-top” moment. I mean, we were all shitting our pants a little bit.Anyway, I came away from this experience with a bunch of GOLDEN NUGGETS and loved being with these awesomely powerful women. You gotta listen to this episode to hear some of the GEMS, even if my voice is a bit rough. But one thing I realized was that we have the same systems and similar goals. We’re building the list, and we’re doing the webinars, we’re launching, we’re doing courses, we have groups, we’re coaching, we have podcasts. It’s the similar stuff, but we need to do it our OWN WAY. We need to do it our way, BASED on our personality TYPE. We all must understand our differences, own them, and then BE UNAPOLOGETIC about it.So, there’s no right or wrong way. It’s just we must know OUR WAY.When we can step into that and own it for the first time in our lives, it’s such an unbelievable GAME CHANGER because again, if Kate’s trying to be like Amy or Amy’s trying to be like Kate or I’m trying to be like them or any of it, it doesn’t come off authentic. We leave ourselves, and we muffle who we really are, and the world needs who we really are. There’s more to this episode, listen in. And I am definitely coming away from this super stoked to do more with personality type and help you all be unapologetically who you are, I’m going on a rampage!Stay tuned. 桑木野宏子 - 夕阳の中の少年 @ 紫翠水明~遥なる二胡のしらべ~ (2002)中岛美嘉 - 僕が死のうと思ったのは (2015演唱会现场版) (2015)Joshua Radin - Fly Me to the Moon @ His Way, Our Way (2009)Nina Simone - Feeling Good @ I Put a Spell on You (1965)Aimer - Ref:rain @ Ref:rain/眩いばかり [Single] (2018)滨崎步 - Part of Me ~ Secret (from ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2007 ~Tour of Secret~) (2007)Alec Benjamin - 1994 @ Narrated For You (2018)

First Draft Episode #214: Jason Reynolds Jason Reynolds, New York Times bestselling author of critically acclaimed books, including National Book Award finalist Ghost, Newberry and Printz-honored Long Way Down, Coretta Scott King Honoree As Brave as You, and his latest, middle grade Look Both Ways, which was just named to the National Book Award Longlist for Young People’s Literature. This episode was brought to you by Freedom — upgrade to Premium and use code FIRSTDRAFT for 40% off a yearly or Forever plan! In this sermon called "Our Way and God's Way", we look at Galatians 4:21-31. Here we see Paul dig into the Old Testament to show that God has always accepted people based on his promise, not based on our actions. This is so comforting because our actions are feeble and inconsistent, but God's promises never fail.
Sermon #5 from the Series Major Genesis Part Three: (Genesis 26:34-27:46): Title: God’s Way vs. Our Way, Sermon in a Sentence: Though undeserved and opposed by the world, God’s blessing and abiding presence should cause us to live worshipful, faith-filled lives for His glory – a testimony to the watching world.
This is what we Lodgecast for ladies and gentlemen! We Go Out of Our Way to Watch Weird Movies so You Don't Have To! Ain't no one in the whole wide world gonna see in theaters a little movie Keanu Reeves did called Replicas. We ate at Marie Callender's in Monterey Park and then proceeded directly to the AMC Atlantic Times Square 14 to see the sci-fi techno-thriller Replicas. Some stiff drinks at Marie Callender's knocked one Lodge viewer out, but the rest of us remained alert for a fun-filled biotechnological evening. Directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff, written by Chad St. John, from a story by Stephen Hamel, Replicas delivers to us a wild adventure tale on human replication. The sequences of Keanu Reeves endlessly hacking through his virtual reality computer interfaces will stay in our hearts and minds forever. No techtards here!

Building the Family The church is a family John 1:12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. Hebrews 2:11 Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. And that is why Jesus is not ashamed to call us his brothers and sisters. Ephesians 2:19 You are therefore no longer mere foreigners or persons excluded from civil rights. On the contrary you share citizenship with God's people and are members of His family. God is your father Jesus is your brother You are in the family of God and the family of God is the church. 1 Timothy 3:15 God's family is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. Psalm 92:13 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. flourish = Parach - to blossom to the point of fruit. How you see something determines how you interact with it. In our family, at Thanksgiving: 01 If You’re Invited, We Have a Place for You In our family, at Thanksgiving: 02 Everyone Brings Something to the Table 1 Corinthians 3:1-4 But for right now, friends, I’m completely frustrated by your unspiritual dealings with each other and with God. You’re acting like infants in relation to Christ, capable of nothing much more than nursing at the breast. Well, then, I’ll nurse you since you don’t seem capable of anything more. As long as you grab for what makes you feel good or makes you look important, are you really much different than a babe at the breast, content only when everything’s going your way? Hebrews 5:13 No one who lives on milk alone can know the ins and outs of what it means to be righteous and pursue justice; in other words, you’re missing out… that’s because he is only a baby. 1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more. In our family, at Thanksgiving: 03 We Expect Growth And with growth comes an understanding of personal responsibility. (Matthew 6:33) “Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Matthew 11:24) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.” (Romans 8:28) Let Us Pray: Gracious Father help us to balance your will with our desired way. Father, you know what’s best. Now, Lord, we ask that you would merge your way with our desire, then knit them together to form the master plan. And after that, show us the way, and we will be caring to give you the glory, honor, and praise. Amen. Our focus “5 Secrets to Get Everything You Want” Let’s Just admit it to ourselves, we all want it our way, and when we can’t have it our way, then we’ll take OUR WAY. The truth is there are rules to what can and cannot have and to what can be done, and to what can ultimately work. But I know a God who has all, is all and can do anything but fail. The sky and beyond is truly out limit. The idea behind the SECRET is the universal principle “law of attraction.” You attract what you think of and what you want. If you are broke right now it is in part because you are thinking about it, you are letting your worries get to you. Isn’t it true that when you wake up on the “wrong side of the bed” everything seems to be going badly for you that day? That is because bad things attract other bad things. If you are in a bad relationship, it is because of your thinking, If you never have the things you desire or want if you have a hard time achieving your goals. Take some time to analyze the why. Use a simple formula Ask yourself the 5 Whys. But it can be used in two different ways. We talk more about this when we discuss this week’s activities for this podcast. How can you learn how to make this law of attraction work out for you? The 5 Secrets To Get Everything You Want: Remove all limits Define Your Goals Massive Focused Action Align All of your Resources (Time, Energy, Prayer, Environment, Money) Believe You Can Remove all limits – remove your inhibitions related to what you are capable of doing, and accomplishing. My rule is that if someone else can do it that I can too. In my early 20’s I found myself in the army in the middle of boot camp. No, I am not joking, in boot camp my first week I was in the mess hall, cleaning dishes, for the celebration meal for the graduating recruits and I was handed a plate from a new graduate, and I remember it so vividly, she said I would not make it. Those same words have motivated me my entire life…. And this example was no different. Needless to say, I did complete boot camp and ended up in the best physical condition of my life. The secret was I remove the limiting thoughts and did the nearly impossible at least that was I was told. Define Your Goals - Our goals start with a dream or a vision of how it could be. But this is just wishful thinking until we make it a goal. Use Smart Goals (SMART) Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timed. Massive Focused Action. The easiest way to take massive action is to take action. Take a look at your resources, but most especially how you spend your time and money. If you have a family, you will need to have a conversation and get buy-in on your goals. Enlist their help, but not their criticism and doubts. Begin to journal, act as if and place positive words of affirmation all around you. Consider recording a statement of affirmation and repeat it, listen to it, make a mission statement for your new goals. Align All of your Resources (Time, Energy, Prayer, Environment, Money) Then create your plan of action. You can also request access to free training on Decluttering this will help you get started. Click the limit in the show notes. Believe You Can – Believe you can, and you are halfway there. Utilize Positive Affirmations one of my favorites is “I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me.” (Phil 4:13) Closing Comments What I have learned to be true, if we don’t do what we have been called to do, it can never happen, if we succumb to our fear it can never happen, if we sit on our dreams and never act on them and turn them into goals and then into accomplishments guess what they will never happen. Today may a vow to yourself to do it scare, knowing that fear means go. “The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change his (her) future by merely changing his (her) attitude.” ~ Oprah Winfrey Podcast Follow Up Activities: Journal and or Meditate on the Scriptures The 5 Why’s Ask a question, then follow it up with the 5 Why’s (use the template provided) Create your new Affirmations (Post them) Identify your Target Goal and goals. In Podcast #25, I was able to speak with Bill Yoh, the author of "OUR WAY". In the book, Bill tells the story of Spike Yoh, the driving force behind Day & Zimmermann with un-sugarcoated candor. An embattled son becomes a patriarch. An untested employee becomes a CEO. A husband becomes a caregiver. A student becomes a teacher, and ultimately a student. Spike Yoh’s life story paints a vivid picture of the profound and very human forces that shape leadership. From a troubled childhood that would have propelled most into a cycle of broken relationships and self-doubt, he rewrote the rules of his own life, and in the process built his father’s company into a billion-dollar enterprise. Author, Bill Yoh serves as a speaker, biographer and strategist, helping other family business owners navigate the opportunities and challenges that inevitably arise when personal and professional lives intersect. As a third-generation owner of Day & Zimmermann, his family's 43,000-employee, century-old family business, Bill has a rare and personal view of the complex and human dynamics behind today’s multi-generational family businesses. Our Way(s) of Life ft. Heebz the Earthchild This week on the show, we’re talking about Our Way(s) of Life with Travis Hebert, also known as Heebz the Earthchild, who is one half of Indigenous hip-hop group Mob Bounce. We wanted to talk about what culture means to Travis, so we caught up with him in July 2017 at UBC Studios on Unceded Musqueam Territory in Vancouver, BC. We wanted to explore the harmful impacts colonialism has and continues to have on Indigenous men, and to hear about what we can do with our cultures to call our brothers to pursue healthy ways of living. We talk about Mob Bounce’s use of culture and the role that music and art play in advancing healing for the people. We discuss our ability to heal by freeing ourselves from the traps and pitfalls of colonial thinking, and then Travis drops an *exclusive* freestyle in the studio for us, expanding on his own personal teachings and the lessons which have inspired him to create the music he and Craig Edes, also known as The Northwest Kid, continue to perform across Canada. Mob Bounce is a Hip Hop duo that formed in the later half of 2010 with the release of their, “Mixed Blood Mixtape.” Before the mixtape release, Travis Adrian Hebert and Craig Frank Edes had been writing & recording music since 2004. Craig is Gitxsan and Travis is Cree/Metis. The two Aboriginal artists have exceptional experience in playing guitar and drums, and have blended their musicianship with elements of Electronic Dance Music (E.D.M.), and Hip Hop production; they incorporate aspects of a Cultural identity with an Artistic identity by experimenting with free toning(Chanting), and a Cultural soundscape influenced by sounds of Nature. Since the release of “Mix Blood Mixtape”, Mob Bounce has focused heavily on creating social and environmental awareness through the arts. They have done their share of anti-pipeline events and a series of shows at Vancouver Indigenous Media Arts Festival that is organized through W2 Media Arts Society in Vancouver, British Columbia. Mob Bounce spent the summer of 2014 performing at various Music Festivals and events including Aboriginal Music Week in Winnipeg, MB. Combined, they have shared the stage with; A Tribe Called Red, DJ Itchy Ron of Sweatshop Union, Git Hayetsk: “People of the Copper Shield”, We Are The City, The Born Ruffians, Filastine, Cris Derkson, Swollen Members, Leonard Sumner, Tall Paul, and other established artists. Mob Bounce’s lyrical content is based on culture, spirituality, sustainable living, healing, Mother Earth and awakening a warrior spirit, since it is a warrior who sacrifices themselves for the better of others. To listen to more of Mob Bounce’s music, you can check out their Soundcloud page at the link below: https://soundcloud.com/mob-bounce

I am freshly returned from the most EPIC, expansive, and evolutionary two weeks of my life. Mama Kauai held me and loved me further into Wholeness as I took myself off the grid and went All The Way IN.I am still adjusting to the integration of it all. A 6 hour time zone shift, dropping back into my life as a wife and mother, returning to the activity and obligations of leading a global movement… amidst the tenderness of brand new parts of myself meeting the world for the first time, the sacredness of experiences that can’t really be described by words, and a fragile innocence just coming online in all Her newness. It’s a lot to navigate. It always is.And… I’m just the One to do it.As you are the One (and ONLY!) for your own Path, my Love.As scary, complex, convoluted, confusing, mind-bending, edge challenging, difficult, easy, angsty, or joy filled as it is - Your Path is tailor made to guide you on your very own Heroine’s journey back to the Home of your Soul.Sometimes our steps seem awkward, clumsy and filled with mistakes. As a Warrior archetype, I am intimately acquainted with the underlying shame of “getting it wrong.”I’ve worked those layers over and over and have created space for ever increasing Grace within my Dance of Becoming. But… there is always another layer. And on the top of a sacred cliff along the Na’Pali Coast I came face to face with another deep round of Medicine related to my spiritual curriculum of Falling from Grace. On Wild Soul Medicine Radio today, I’ll tell you all about it.Medicine for One is Medicine for All.There are so many of Us here now. In our awkwardness, our clumsiness, our anger and our pain. Wondering where we go from Here and where to put our foot next on the Path.As any good trail guide will tell you, just focus on This Step right here in front of you.The heights we are being asked to traverse right now are dizzying. It won’t serve to do anything other than settle in and put your Self in alignment with Being Here.We are in this Together. We shall make Our Way as One.

The Back-to-the-Land movement of the 1970’s consisted of a subculture of young people who consciously chose to ‘return’ to living more simply in the countryside of Atlantic Canada. These urban turned country dwellers often chose to do without modern amenities, such as running water or electricity, as part of a self-sustaining ideal --- manifested in the gardening, home building and community that was developed among the likeminded. ‘Sweetly the Pilgrim / Slowly the Way’, commissioned for the show Back- to-the-Landers: Doing it Our Way at the Confederation Centre in Prince Edward Island, investigates this legacy, attempting to disentangle it from the nostalgia and glorification of the past. I will talk about the process of interviewing back-to-the-landers and documenting their homes, and the challenge of how to visually represent the complexity of shared experience.

When beginning again... Since it’s God’s grace that helps us do God’s will we don’t have to despair. As WE obey Him, HE will teach us humility and help us forgive those we have hurt and who hurt us. When we do things HIS WAY then we are on OUR WAY to be reconciled with those we are alienated from. Ephesians 4:31-32
Sermon Notes: When Our Faith In God’s Promise Is Weak… We Seek To Do God’s Will, Our Way, According To Our Time. (16:1-16) When Our Faith In God’s Promise Is Strong… We Trust God To Do His Will, His Way, In His Time. (21:1-21)
What did the crowds really want when they declared Jesus was their king? Why were they so easily led to turn on Jesus later in the week? Those are the questions asked in this message.
