Foreign Nationals Driving Trucks and Spreading Risk: DHS arrested an Uzbek national living in Pennsylvania who obtained a commercial driver's license despite ties to jihadist recruitment. Bryan warns that thousands of foreign drivers, many without proper vetting, may be transporting hazardous materials across the country. OPT Program Exposes American Graduates: Senator Eric Schmitt highlighted a federal program called Optional Practical Training that allows foreign graduates to work for three years without payroll taxes, making them cheaper to hire than American college students. Today's Headlines: The House finally voted on releasing the Epstein files, and it was a blowout: 427–1, with Louisiana Republican Clay Higgins as the lone no vote. Speaker Mike Johnson is still trying to get the Senate to redact names (interesting), but survivors held a powerful press conference beforehand urging Trump to stop playing politics and just release the files himself. Meanwhile, the first real accountability domino fell: Larry Summers is stepping back from Harvard and the Center for American Progress over his deep Epstein ties — though OpenAI's board is staying suspiciously quiet about whether he's out there too. Over in the Oval Office, Trump hosted Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman for what was supposed to be a big investment-and-F-35s photo op, but it immediately derailed when reporters asked about Epstein and, awkwardly, MBS's role in the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. Trump waved that off with a casual “things happen,” then snapped at ABC's Mary Bruce for asking why he hasn't released the Epstein files, calling her a “terrible reporter” and demanding ABC lose its broadcast license. Very normal, very innocent behavior. In foreign policy news, the UK has reportedly stopped sharing intel on drug smuggling boats over concerns about recent U.S. strikes — something Secretary of State Marco Rubio swears is absolutely not happening because “it didn't come up once.” The courts were also busy. A federal judge said the DOJ's case against James Comey may have been tainted by “profound investigative missteps,” another court blocked Texas's new gerrymandered congressional map for 2026 (pending the inevitable SCOTUS appeal), and a bankruptcy judge finally approved a $7 billion Purdue Pharma settlement after six years of legal trench warfare — money that will go to families, governments, hospitals, and tribes devastated by the opioid crisis. The Woman in White | Paranormal Podcast In this listener-submitted episode, we share three unsettling paranormal encounters sent in by our audience that range from dimensional displacement to possessed dolls. We start with Sophia's story from West Virginia in 2008, when she was just 10 years old and chased her normally calm dog, Chance, across the street—only to find herself completely transported to an unfamiliar place with nothing but grass in every direction and a single brick house she'd never seen before. Despite knowing her neighborhood like the back of her hand, Sophia suddenly couldn't recognize anything around her, and when her dog mysteriously reappeared and led her in a different direction, she eventually found herself returned to her frantic family who had been searching the entire neighborhood for her. Our second story comes from Charis and her grandmother in North Carolina, who dealt with a baby doll that continued crying and laughing despite having no batteries—until Charis hit it in frustration and muttered "stupid doll," causing every light and the TV to shut off instantaneously while the air grew thick and heavy. The final encounter involves Marissa from Texas whose family's 2013 Halloween party decorations included what her father called a "fake" Ouija board in their exorcist-themed guest room, which seemed to summon a faceless Woman in White with long black hair who appeared in dreams, touched guests with freezing hands, and eventually threatened Marissa's father with a baking tray while radiating joy at their fear.
