Lead scoring is a vital element that sits in the intersection between marketing and sales. It's something that companies need to think about from an early stage. It is a simple idea but it is often so poorly implemented that it doesn't produce a lot of the results it is designed to produce. Breadcrumbs attempts to address the fundamental flaws of this process through a simple interface where people can design their own lead scoring model within a matter of minutes. The company is the latest among several startups founded by Armando Biondi, the former COO of the digital marketing platform, AdEspresso. An active member of the startup ecosystem since 2009, Armando has a depth of knowledge and experience when it comes to go-to-market challenges and strategies. In this episode we speak with Massimo Chieruzzi GM and co-founder at AdEspresso which is a tool for SMBs to manage, analyze and optimize Facebook Ads and which was acquired by Hootsuite in 2017. He’s a multi-hyphen dude. He’s been a radio speaker, journalist, developer, marketer, entrepreneur and angel investor. At 14 years old he was the youngest Italian guy indicted in cyber crime for running a pirate BBS and making countless intercontinental calls with his modem to avoid paying the bills through boxing. He later founded Creative Web, the leading web development agency in Italy and biggest provider in Europe for eBay and other companies. He founded AdEspresso after getting fed up with Facebook ad scaling and optimizing solutions. In the early days of AdEspresso Massimo helped scale the blog from 0 to 700,000 visits per month and build a profitable business with just inbound marketing and 0 people on sales, making AdEspresso the most used Facebook Ads product worldwide. We discuss: – Bending rules and the concept of “subjective justice” as a possible entrepreneurial necessity – The importance of mitigating risk and never relying on one customer/traffic source/product/etc. – Massimo’s two cents on how to handle the uncertainty created by Covid-19 – The power in being aware of your weaknesses – Striking a balance between avoidance out of fear vs self-awareness about what you should and shouldn’t spend time doing – And much more We hope you enjoy your listen!

Ciao Veronica. Veronica Gentili: Ciao, ciao Valerio, ciao a tutti!

Mobile Home Park Investors with Jefferson Lilly & Brad Johnson

Welcome to Episode 114 of the Mobile Home Park Investors podcast, hosted by Jefferson Lilly and Brad Johnson, with the Park Street Partners. Jefferson is back with another SECO Trade Show Recap. Find out more about some of the interesting things that were featured in this year’s conference and we hope to see you next year!   Key Takeaways: [1:00] This week, Jefferson is doing a review of the SECO Conference he just attended last month. [1:50] The conference first started off with a session on social media marketing that was very interesting and filled with some great resources. [4:25] The next session was about five key ways to bringing in new homes. [7:00] There’s really always a risk and that includes even doing nothing. [8:30] Craigslist tends to attract a lower quality tenant, so it’s best to advertise on Facebook, Zillow, Instagram, and Mhvillage instead. [12:10] The next session was about internet marketing and the importance of mobile-friendly websites. [13:35] It is estimated that by 2020, all search will be done by voice. [15:45] HUD has filed a complaint against Facebook for violating fair housing. [18:25] Video media still dominates the internet! [20:15] Credit Human was there and they directly lend to mobile home owners. [21:10] Next session was about lessons that were learned from new park owners. [23:55] Have conversations with your tenants! Don’t make improvements that they won’t want. [25:15] The next talk was about determining the value of your mobile home park. [27:00] Thinking of selling? Plan a year or two in advance. [31:05] You should have roughly 10% of the purchase price in cash reserves when you purchase a property. [32:25] Ozone generators are a great way to remove smells from a house as well as kill bed bugs. [33:05] Jefferson lists some excellent resources for mobile home financing. Kyle Gray Gives You Action Steps to Make Great Content 3:54 In today's conversation, Kyles shares some of his favorite tools to create content and explains strategies to identify problems and create actionable content with lead magnets to grow your list, enhance your network, and move forward toward building your business. Kyle has worked with many well-known brands and businesses like AdEspresso, Advance Your Reach, WP Curve and Self-Publishing School. 5:23 What is Good Content? 09:08 What are realistic expectations for traffic? 12:50 How long does it take to make great content. 16:20 How important are keywords? 19:55 What examples can you share of covering a problem from multiple angles? 21:05 If you could only pick three tools to help with your content, what would you pick? The content strategy template Trello Co-Schedule Key Take Aways You need consistency He was talking about blog posts, and we are talking about podcasts but we still have nuggets. In the end, we are all content creators. So you heard in this interview where he is not winging it; there is planning. He does things other people may not be doing like finding graphics to go with the episode. He said that even if you spend hours on your content, it may take months before you start seeing any measurable traffic. So if you're looking to get rich in six weeks, this is not for you. I love that good content helps your audience. You may think that all of this discussion is for business, but if you're doing a comedy podcast your audience's problem may be that they just watched the news or had a bad day at work, and it's your job to find a way to make them smile. He talked about identifying some key problems for your audience and making a lead magnet to give away that helps solve them. This is a great strategy that not everyone does, but that's because it takes time. A cool graphic could be a picture of your guest with a quote you pulled from the interview. Focus on the relationships. It is these relationships that help on the way up, and also if things go the other way. Jordan Harbinger utilized to rebuild his show with his network.

VMP 082: 3 Amazing New Tools To Help You Market Your Veterinary Hospital

The Veterinary Marketing Podcast

I am always on the lookout for new helpful tools that will allow me to market better. The three tools that I talk about in today's episode will absolutely help simplify and enhance your marketing execution so that you can really grow by leaps and bounds this year.  When I talk about marketing I really emphasize measuring and testing. Measuring and testing are really critical components so that you can always be improving your efforts in order to get the lowest cost most effective marketing done. One tool in particular that I talk about in today's episode really helps to do that, it is called AdEspresso.com. With AdEspresso.com you can create literally hundereds of versions of ads all at once so that you can test all kinds of items like headlines, content of the ads, calls to action, images used in the ads, and demographic targeting options/audiences. This really takes the guess work out of knowing what works best and radically saves you time and effort. It would be impossible to do the amount of work that this system does for you even if your only job was to be constantly setting and testing Facebook ads all day. It also gives you easy to understand reporting so that you can clearly see what is working without having to create custom reports in facebook ad reporting and then integrate it with your Google analytics data. I have only recently been testing out AdEspreso.com but so far it is really been an amazing tool in all the marketing that I've done in the past couple months. You can get a free trial at AdEspresso.com for 14 days so be sure to check it out! The Next Item that I talk about is a little bit less glamorous or exciting as AdEspresso.com but I think it could really help and it is the Facebook Pages Manager CRM like features that have recently been updated on the App. If you have to manage your practice's page and use the app you can find this feature by making sure your app is updated and you can click on a specific person who interacts with your fan page. Once you click on the individual it will pull up a page that shows data on who you are talking with. You can see things like how long they've liked your page, where they live and you can add notes. This is a good idea to tag people, especially if they are troublemakers on your page so that any admin can look up notes and know to mute comments & block or even how to respond.  The last item I cover in today's podcast is LeadDigits from Leadpages. If you would like to try this out text "veterinary" to 44222 and you'll get a copy of my 31 veterinary blog post ideas. Lead Digits allows you jto collect email information through text messages and best of all it is integrated into leadpages so it is a bonus feature that I didn't realize I already had. There are so many applications for this in your practice and I cover some really cool marketing ideas. If you want to see how leadpages works send me an email and I'll show you the best ways to use leadpages in your veterinary practice.
