She has over a decade of experience in education policy, and also handles issues related to institutional capture and the definition of sex in law and culture.    She is a Lincoln Fellow with the Claremont Institute and a senior contributor to The Federalist. Her work has additionally appeared in outlets such as USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and New York Post, and she has made appearances on Fox News, PBS, CSPAN, and NPR. Inez has a BA in Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego, and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. She lives in New York City with her husband.

Diese Woche erschien der Jahresbericht der Berliner Register 2020. Im dritten Jahr in Folge wurden in dem Bericht alle in den zwölf Berliner Registern gemeldeten extrem rechten und diskriminierenden Vorfälle erfasst. Für das vergangene Jahr wurden insgesamt 3822 Vorfälle in Berlin gemeldet. Die Zahlen der Meldungen sind im Vergleich zu den letzten Jahren angestiegen. In 58 Prozent aller Vorfälle handele es sich um Propaganda. Die Hauptmotive seien wie in den Vorjahren Rassismus und Antisemitismus. In die Zählung rassistischer Vorfälle gingen auch antimuslimische, antiziganistische und anti-Schwarze Vorfälle ein. Weiterhin verzeichnen die Berliner Register Anfragen von Abgeordneten der AfD an den Berliner Senat, die die Arbeit von Einrichtungen der politischen Bildung und Jugendbildung diffamierten. Das unabhängige Jugendzentrum Pankow »JUP« ist eine von mittlerweile über 100 sozialen Einrichtungen in Berlin, die in diesem Jahr eine Trägererklärung »gegen rechte Hetze und Verschwörungserzählungen – für ein respektvolles und demokratisches Miteinander« unterschrieben haben. Ein Grund für dieses öffentliche Statement und den starken Zusammenschluss der sozialen Verbände, Vereine und Initiativen ist auch der strategische Untersuchungswahn der AfD, dem soziale Einrichtungen in Berlin in den letzten Jahren vermehrt ausgesetzt sind. Hinzu kommen öffentliche Diffamierungen und Hetze gegen Angestellte, Vereinsmitglieder und Nutzer*innen. In der aktuellen Folge vom Rote Brause Podcast spreche ich mit der Geschäftsführerin Jana Ringer darüber, wie das Jugendzentrum Stellung bezieht und sich gegen die rechte Hetze wehrt.
