Slam the Gavel welcomes back Debbie Carroll to the podcast, Debbie was last on Season 5, Episodes 167 and 180. Today we talked about the Frost case:In 2022, El Paso County in Colorado Springs, Colorado, placed four siblings into the homes of their mother and their aunt.  Both women were living with registered sex offenders.  Three months later, they received a call from the youngest child's school about the boy's terrible physical battering. The Court DID NOT admonish Department of Human Services for their neglectful failure to investigate the women's homes before sending children to them. The judge DID NOT accuse them of reckless child endangerment. Instead, the Court congratulated the Department of Human Services for the good job they had done in the emergency situation they handled at the time!It appears that this judge doesn't know the difference between a safe parent and a crafted scheme to take children from him and put them into a child sex trafficking ring. Instead,in December 2024, she terminated the parental rights of  the protective FATHER  of the of the children.  She ignored the fact that he had contacted the pollice more than 15 times in the two years leading up to the department removing the children from him over allegations that were founded to be false. We will be looking at the documents that show that the department engineered a no-fault plea arrangement that was never made by the father, and the criminal records of the perpetrators that were ignored. To Reach Debbie Carroll:  Debbie.car@considerationnonprofit.org***** Supportshow(https://www.buymeacoffee.com/maryannpetri)Maryann Petri: dismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.comhttps://www.tiktok.com/@maryannpetriFacebook:  https://www.youtube.com/@slamthegavelpodcasthostmar5536Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/guitarpeace/Pinterest: Slam The Gavel Podcast/@guitarpeaceLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/maryann-petri-62a46b1ab/  YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/@slamthegavelpodcasthostmar5536  Twitter https://x.com/PetriMaryannEzlegalsuit.com*DISCLAIMER* The use of this information is at the viewer/user's own risk. An autopsy report released Monday by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has finally shed light on the mysterious death of Suzanne Morphew, a Colorado mom who vanished in May 2020. According to the autopsy conducted by the El Paso County coroner, Suzanne Morphew's death was classified as homicide caused by intoxication from drugs commonly used to sedate wildlife, with no physical trauma observed on her body. Suzanne Morphew, 49, disappeared while on a bike ride near her home in Chaffee County. Her case remained cold until her remains were unexpectedly discovered last September in Moffat, Colorado, approximately 90 minutes south of her last known location. The remains were found during an unrelated investigation. The autopsy identified the substances leading to her death as butorphanol, azaperone, and medetomidine—drugs typically marketed as a compounded injectable chemical immobilizer for wildlife. "These findings suggest a deeply troubling scenario behind Suzanne's disappearance and death," stated the autopsy report. Her husband, Barry Morphew, who was previously charged with her murder in 2021, had those charges dropped just before his trial in April 2022 due to insufficient evidence. Since then, no new arrests have been made in connection with Suzanne's death. "The investigative team assembled to work this case continues to follow the evidence and only the evidence as we seek justice for Suzanne's death," said CBI Director Chris Schaefer. In a statement issued through their attorney, the Morphew family described the profound impact of the case on their lives, emphasizing the distress caused by the false accusations against Barry Morphew and the lack of closure. "The Morphews are left with more questions than answers and a lack of justice for Suzanne, the family, and the community," the statement read. Adding to the complexity of the case, Suzanne Morphew's clothes and a weathered bullet were found alongside her remains. Barry Morphew and his daughters Macy and Mallory have publicly criticized the investigation's narrow focus and claimed that authorities have not provided information about whether the bullet or the clothing was tested for DNA evidence. In May 2023, Barry Morphew and his daughters spoke out in an ABC News interview after filing a lawsuit against the prosecutors, accusing them of wrongful charges. "They've got tunnel vision and they looked at one person and they've got too much pride to say they're wrong and look somewhere else," Barry Morphew said. "I don't have anything to worry about. I've done nothing wrong." The case continues to attract significant public interest, with many hoping that the new autopsy findings will lead to a breakthrough in the investigation. Meanwhile, the community and the Morphew family await justice for Suzanne, whose life was tragically cut short under mysterious and alarming circumstances. Just after midnight, Kimberlee Singler, 35, calls 911 to report a home break-in. She tells police that her two of her children have been murdered.  The police response report says Officers found "an adult female and an 11-year-old female who had sustained injuries," as well as a 9-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy who were "deceased at the scene." Singler's third child, the 11-year-old daughter was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  She is hospitalized for a few days and then released. Singler is also treated for minor injuries.   As police investigate the reported burglary, Singler works with officers, giving statements about what happened.  Then police determined the burglary report is unfounded, and present evidence to obtain a warrant for Singler's arrest, but the mom is nowhere to be found. Since she was not a suspect, Singler was not under surveillance and by the time she needed to be, she was gone. Police uncover an ongoing legal battle between the mom and her ex-husband Kevin Wentz.  Wentz's attorneys say their contentious divorce and custody dispute has been going on for over five years.  Just three months ago, Kimberlee Singler filed a request for a temporary protection order in El Paso County. She claims Kevin Wentz waved a knife at her. Wentz denies the allegations. Two months later,  in a different jurisdiction, a Larimer County court held a hearing on Singler's emergency motion to restrict parenting time over the same allegations about the knife. The court rescinded the order finding there was no imminent threat from Wentz. The court ordered that the children have additional time with their father, Kevin Wentz, around Thanksgiving and again December 16 through December 31.   It was arranged for the child exchanges to take place at a police station in Colorado Springs and the Greely Police Station.  When Singler failed to show up with the children, Wentz's attorney filed an emergency motion to law enforcement for assistance to enforce parenting time. The Court granted the motion. Wentz was awarded custody.    The Colorado Springs police investigation led to the charges against Kimberlee Singler. On December 26th, investigators established probable cause and obtained an arrest warrant for Kimberlee Singler on the multiple charges, including 2 counts – Murder in the First Degree, Class One Felony ,  1 count – Criminal Attempt – Murder in the First Degree Child Abuse, and Assault in the First Degree.  Details of the arrest warrant are currently sealed under court order and are expected to be unsealed at a later time. Singler was arrested in London and is fighting her extradition.  Joining Nancy Grace Today: Eric Faddis  - Partner of Varner Faddis Elite Legal, former felony prosecutor and current criminal defense and civil litigation attorney,  www.varnerfaddis.com, Instagram: @e_fad @varnerfaddis; TikTok: @varnerfaddis  Dr. Angela Arnold - Psychiatrist, , AngelaArnoldMD.com, Expert in the Treatment of Pregnant/Postpartum Women, Former Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynecology: Emory University, Former Medical Director of The Psychiatric Ob-Gyn Clinic at Grady Memorial Hospital, Voted My Buckhead's Best Psychiatric Practice of 2023  Irv Brandt -  Senior Inspector, US Marshals Service International Investigations Branch, Chief Inspector, DOJ Office of International Affairs; Author: “SOLO SHOT: CURSE OF THE BLUE STONE” available on Amazon, Also "FLYING SOLO: Top of the World" Twitter: @JackSoloAuthor   Dr. Eric Eason  - Board Certified Forensic Pathologist, consultant, Instagram: @eric_a_eason, Facebook: Eric August Eason, LinkedIn: Eric Eason, MD   Heather Skold - KRDO13 Anchor and Reporter, www.krdo.com , FB: HeatherSkoldNC13, IG: Heatherskoldkrdo, X: @HeatherSkold13/@Krdo_13   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

30-year-old Casey Garcia stands 4 feet 11 inches tall, and 105 pounds. She records herself as she changes her appearance to try and look like her 13-year-old daughter, then using her daughter's school ID attempts to get into Ann M. Garcia-Enriquez Middle School.  During one of her classes a teacher calls her by her daughter's name, Julie. Garcia makes it all the way through the morning classes and goes to lunch where she takes more photos.  As Garcia is walking into one of her last classes, another teacher asks for identification. Garcia gives her daughter's name. The teacher is suspicious, and when Garcia asks for help with topics the class has already covered, the teacher confronts her again. Garcia is caught and now admits that she is the mother of a student and that she is partaking in a 'social experiment'. The teacher asks Garcia to visit the principal's office. Garcia complies and tries to explain her goal to the principal before leaving the school. She says her goal is to prove that anyone can get into the middle school that her daughter goes to, that security is seriously lacking.  Two days after Casey Garcia uploads her video to YouTube, police show up.  The 30-year-old parent is arrested and charged with criminal trespassing, as well as tampering with government records for allegedly forging her daughter's signature. In court, Casey Garcia confesses to entering the school, and the tampering with government records for allegedly forging her daughter's signature charge is dropped.  Garcia is found guilty of criminal trespassing. and sentenced to six months of probation in El Paso County criminal court.
