Polygon Alpha Podcast - Episode 0026 - March 24, 2023TimeSwap - Ricsson Ngo, Harshita Singh, Ameeth DevadasLinkTree - https://linktr.ee/polygonalphapodcastYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/c/PolygonTV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~TimeSwap* Decentralized and oracle-less fixed time preference protocol* Timeswap is a fixed time preference protocol for users to manage their ERC20 tokens over discrete time.* It works as a zero liquidation money market and options market in one. * Users can lend tokens into the pool to earn fixed yields.* They can also borrow or leverage tokens against other tokens, without the fear of liquidation.* Liquidity providers (different from lenders) create markets for any pair of tokens, adding liquidity, and being the counterparty to all lenders and borrowers of the protocol.* In return, they earn transaction fees from both sides of the market.* Timeswap utilizes a unique constant sum options specification and an ingenious duration weighted constant product automated market maker (AMM) similar to Uniswap AMM.* It is designed to not utilize oracles, is capital efficient, permissionless to deploy, game theoretically sound in any state of the market, and is easy to use.* Timeswap works on a duration weighted constant product automated market maker (AMM)Key Features of Timeswap* Permissionless - Liquidity providers can create pools for any ERC20 pair, without permission.* Oracle-less - Timeswap works without any oracles and it discovers the interest rate and collateral factor through free market arbitrage.* Most importantly, this makes the tokens safe and immune to oracle manipulation attacks.* Perfect Price Range - Timeswap V2 has implemented an ingenious feature where the collateral factor is always over-collateralized i.e. it stays above one hundred percent no matter how large the lending transactions are. Under-collateralized loan by definition is a guaranteed arbitrage.* By limiting the price range to where it is always over-collateralized, increases the price efficiency and lower slippage costs for both lenders and borrowers.* Self Healing - Timeswap's well-designed free market AMM has the ability to self-heal its state and price based on the preference of the free market no matter what the market price may become or how fast it changes.* It does not matter how fast the spot price, interest price, and collateral factor of the pair go down or goes up.* It does not matter if it is a bear market or a bull market.* Symmetric Market - Timeswap V2 has a sound AMM having a perfect symmetry for lending and borrowing.* This leads to efficient pricing for the market.* Lenders can withdraw their funds before maturity given a small penalty, while borrowers can pay their debt with a discount before maturity.* Liquidity providers can also withdraw their liquidity before maturity.* Bidirectional Pool - In Timeswap V2, the pairs are now bidirectional, giving it greater capital efficiency and flexibility.* Lenders can lend either token A and/or token B into the same pool, while borrowers can leverage on token A and/or token B in the same pool, using token A and/or token B as collateral.* Gas Efficient - Timeswap does not use the Black-Scholes formula to determine the price of the option.* Instead, the protocol provides the price based on a simple constant product formula very similar to Uniswap.* This makes the protocol more gas efficient.* This also makes it very easy for anyone to intuitively create money markets for their tokens, without the need of learning complicated financial formulas.* Past Independent AMM - Timeswap is designed to be past-independent and not historically biased on the pricing.* It does not have any historical data stored in the AMM that determines the price, which gives it zero past data bias, and pricing that perfectly follows the present decisions of the free market.* Capital Efficient Liquidity -Timeswap V2's new design improves the liquidity capital efficiency by more than double, making it more lucrative for liquidity providers to join the protocol.* The revenue mechanics and divergent cost mechanics have also been improved to further make liquidity provision more profitable.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Thank you so much for watching the video, if you've not subscribed to the channel please do! Episode #811In this episode of #TheHabitCoach podcast, Ashdin is asked by Harshita how she can deal with the toxicity of social media? Ashdin shares that social media is triggered and made to make you want to see what else is happening. It wants to make you feel bad about yourself. You need to understand that it's nothing but a big marketing machine. What you can do here, download some kind of time tracking apps. Second, to deal with the feeling of jealousy looking at other people's lives, is to pause, take a step back and just appreciate the fact that someone could do it and just reiterate to yourself that 'I haven't done it yet, but I will soon.' Last but not the least, you should be clear about what kind of life you want, without being influenced by others. A Family residing in the city, move into a Coffee farm and started making some really good coffee. Meet the family behind ĀnaiKādu Nisha , Kurian, Anaika & Bella. How their life came to a crossroad, that led them to the world of coffee, and eventually into #specialtycoffee. New into this side of coffee, processing coffees for the first time, from being not sure enough to being nervous on how the community would react to the coffee, to actually selling all their specialty processed coffee (sooner than they expected). This is an incredible story of how a (relatively small) coffee farm holder churned some good coffee out. Also getting some really commendable #specialtyrobusta, which is what they primarily grow. This podcast is extremely special and unique as it is one episode but there are two parts to the episode, the first half before they got into processing specialty coffee, whereas the other half is post finishing the season and selling all their coffees. I wanted to do an episode like this so that you all (and me) could hear to both parts of the story. We talk about corporate life, farm life, how did they went about starting their journey into specialty Coffee, the capital needed, the challenges involved in doing specialty coffee for the first time, cost incurred, if there is any profit at all in doing coffee or specialty coffee. We also spoke about, Harshita from EarthSong Cafe, Prasanna (ex - Harley), Pranoy, Blue Tokai, and more. The artwork from ĀnaiKādu The Ānai Kādu artwork has been turning a lot of heads and rightly so. Everything from the logo to the hand-drawn detailed images accompanying the postcards for each of the processes were done by Kurian and Nisha's good friend and artist and textile designer, Meera Naidu
Anna speaks with her sister Nora and Nora's former roommate Harshita about building community in the kitchen, celebrating other faiths and cultures through food, and seeking justice in what and how we cook.

The CEO Rally's mission is to empower young creatives to build powerful personal brands to help create a renowned name for themselves and what they do. We have had engaging talks at NIFT, Wipro, and PESU over the month. Harshita is a Communication Design Graduate, who graduated in the middle of the 2020 and began freelancing and working with several advertising agencies in New York. During this time, she realized that she wanted to build a brand that she could call her own, and lead creative projects. She currently is a consultant at Estée Lauder alongside running her studio full-time. Sanjana was in her fourth year of Architecture when she realised that even though she didn't want to pursue a career in the industry, she was passionate about design and creating brand identities, so she forged a path for herself and has now helped several entrepreneurs with the same. Over the last year, they have started and scaled their online brands where they define strategic visual identities, helping several start-ups across the world build successful, purpose-filled businesses. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/gmbwithkay/message
Ever thought of living life away from the City (FOR REAL). How would that be, this is exactly what Harshita and Her Husband thought like a decade ago, and finally after really hitting the toll of the City life and the fast paced & Hectic Work cycles they finally made the switch to live in the middle of nowhere. Technically, its in the Pench Reserve Forest, but still it is far away from the "City" life. Now living a life far away in the middle of a forest is not as easy as it sounds, I am sure a lot of us would have thought of doing the exact same thing, at some point or the other. You wont exactly know if it is the life meant for you, or not until you try it, and trust me staying there for a few days is NOT TRYING. And in the middle of this Huge life Changing shift, guess what, Coffee did play an important role in the life of Harshita. We got in touch earlier this year, while i was travelling from Bangalore to Gurgaon on my motorbike. She got in touch and asked if I would like to visit her café (yes there is a cafe that is in the middle of this FOREST, serving Specialty Coffee - including and not only @bluetokai coffee) and I was like, Hell yes would love to do that. That's how we met and I feel so blessed to have met her and have connected with her. That's when I decided, more people should listen to her story. Harshita introduces herself as - 'A mum of two, looking to create a sustainable, slower and flavorful life. My work must reflect my ideologies. EARTH SONG is a sustainable, souvenir shop, showcasing handcrafted goods from the region and also a café that calls for you to stop the hustle, wait patiently for your coffee and enjoy the simple pleasures. you can get in touch with her on the below links - Shop & Café: earthsongindia on Instagram for stay : www.tigernwoods.com India inspired superfoods :- www.pranasuperfoods.in
Where do you draw inspiration from? What sparks you in life? Personally, I love asking people these questions to find out what ignites them in their own unique way. For Harshita, her spark arises from creating, expressing and sharing her unique art... as well as appreciating nature, and absorbing her surroundings. In this episode we talk about fashion, not just in its form, but the colours, energy, and meaning that is manifested in every creation. Celebrating the work of a young designer, thriving with the launch of her new brand, Harshita Nagi Official, this conversation uncovers the journey of a passionate artist making her own mark in the made to measure industry. Tune in and be immersed in art. The realest form of freedom

Welcome to Clairstone! In this episode, you will learn how to use the English words "cause" and "symptom".We have partnered with CCAP Across the Map, which focuses on women's health. For more information visit ccapglobal.org.TRANSCRIPT:Hello everyone, my name is Jasmine, and you are listening to the English ClAIRSTONE Podcast, where you can build the cornerstone of your English vocabulary! For all our new listeners, welcome to the community, and for our regulars, hello again! Before we start, I will remind you that we upload new episodes twice a week and there are transcripts for each podcast episode in English, Arabic, and Spanish at our website projectclair.org, so go check that out if you want to follow along! We will be discussing health-related vocabulary words with the nonprofit organization CCAP Across The Map, which focuses on women's health, for the first two episodes of every month. Today, we will look at the words “cause” and “symptom”.The word “cause”, spelled C-A-U-S-E, is a word that can be used as both a noun and a verb. First, as a noun, a cause is something that leads to a disease, like cancer. For example, in the sentence “the main cause of cancer is changes within cells”, the changes within cells are what leads to cancer. Second, as a verb, a cause is used to indicate that one thing can cause another thing to happen. For example, in the sentence “Kate has a type of cancer caused by a virus”, the virus is what led to Kate having cancer. The word “cause” can also be used in this same way outside of medicine to lead to a certain outcome. For example, if “the cause of the accident is not clear,” someone is not sure what made the accident happen. Or, in the sentence “Not sleeping last night caused me to feel tired,” the word “cause” is used as a verb to show that as a result (or because) someone did not get sleep, they are tired. The noun “symptom,” spelled S-Y-M-P-T-O-M, has two definitions. First, it is a medical term that refers to something a person experiences that lets them know they are sick and have a disease. For example, in the sentence “Amy noticed a red, bumpy skin rash as a symptom of cancer,” the skin rash is a symptom that tells Amy she is sick and has cancer. Second, the word “symptom” can also be used in this same way outside of medicine to let someone know something is wrong. For example, “Harshita kept picking at her nails; this was a symptom of her nervousness.” In this sentence, Harshita's picking of her nails is a symptom showing she is nervous. Well, that is it for today's episode! This was the Clairstone Podcast and an episode with CCAP Across the Map. For the full transcript for all our episodes, you can click on the info icon on our platform or go to our website projectclair.org. For more information about women's health, visit the website ccapglobal.org. If you begin experiencing concerning symptoms, talk to a doctor! I hope you will start to use the words “cause” and “symptom” in your English practice, and I will see you next time! Bye, everyone!
