Joe Lurie has spent most of his adult life interacting and engaging with other cultures and promoting cross-cultural understanding. As a young man, he served in the US Peace Corps in Kenya, the beginning of his life of “intercultural encounters.” For 20 years, Lurie was the executive director of the University of California's International House whose mission is to “foster intercultural respect and understanding for the promotion of a more peaceful world.” Since his retirement, Lurie has been a teacher, intercultural trainer, and consultant. His most recent book draws together all he had learned about understanding – and misunderstanding – one another in the book: “Perception and Deception: A Mind-Opening Journey Across Cultures.” The First Goal of the Peace Corps is to provide technical assistance overseaas; however, the Thed Third Goal of the Peace Corps is to bring a volunteer's unique international experience home to the US and share that information, plus build upon the experience to provide more intercultural understanding.

In a few years we may have digital coins that can be programmed to have different properties. They can, for example, have an expiry date or can only be used for earmarked purposes. They can also be transferred directly to the recipient when all predefined conditions are met, without the use of intermediaries such as banks and brokers. Digital central bank money can shake up the reality we know - and create many new opportunities. This is according to the Head of Innovation at Norwegian SpareBank 1 SR-Bank. Why do many experts warn against digital ID and digital money? One of those who is now warning against this is Catherine Austin Fitts. She is an American investment banker and former public servant who served as CEO of Dillon, Read & Co. and, during the presidency of George HW Bush, as the United States Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for Housing. She has written and commented on the topic of public spending and has alleged several large cases of government fraud. Fitts has researched and commented on public expenditure. In a 2004 study published in World Affairs: The Journal of International Issues, she claimed to find "evidence that a very large proportion of the nation's wealth is illegally diverted since decades into secret, untraceable channels and programs with unspecified purposes, including secret operations and subversions abroad and secret military R&D at home. Public institutions have been infiltrated and taken over by shadow groups in the service of powerful private and special interests, often at the expense of the common good." In 2017, Fitts co-authored a report, along with Michigan State University economist Skidmore, that claimed to find $21 trillion in "unauthorized spending" by the US Department of Defense and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development over a 17-year period. God listen!

Cella and his family were the largest family to serve in an ambassadorial posting overseas in the history of the State Department. He has over twenty-five years of experience in public service, the private sector, and non-profit work. He has advised Members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives, served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, and served as a confidential advisor to various public officials, religious leaders, and business leaders. He is the Founder and Principal of the Pontifex Group, a consulting firm whose practice areas include public policy, public relations, crisis management, and institutional launching and growth. He is the founder of the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast, which has welcomed presidents, chief justices, and other distinguished speakers and guests. He also helped to found and served on the boards of In Defense of Christians and Fidelis (Catholic Vote), and worked with over a dozen other nonprofit organizations, including Hillsdale College, where he earned his B.A. Cella served as the Catholic Liaison for the 2016 Donald J. Trump for President Campaign and managed the campaign's Catholic Advisory Group. He also served on the Presidential Transition Team. He and his wife, Kristen, have seven children, four boys and three girls, ranging from 17 years to 4 years old. The Cella Family live on a small farm in Michigan. We're probably covering 1% of the world events when we conduct these briefings, so please remember that if we left it out, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's unimportant. Also, remember that we do these briefings quite often, so we might have covered an issue previously that you might not see if you are only watching our most recent videos. We're also doing this in our spare time, so again we fully admit that these briefings aren't even close to being perfect; we're going for a healthy blend of speed and quality. If we were to wait and only post a brief when it's "perfect" we would never post anything at all. So expect some minor errors on the slides here and there. If there is a major error or correction that needs to be made, we will post it here in the description, and verbally address it in the next briefing, whenever that is. We do not have a set schedule for when these videos are published...when we get enough info that we think is worth it, we brief it. If we were bound to a schedule we would be obligated to provide fluff for the days where there isn't anything worth commenting on. Also, thanks for reading this far. Today I'm joined by Dr. Richard Boylan whose work I came across after I read his article, “Classified Antigravity Aerospace Craft” from World Affairs: The Journal of International Issues”. In this episode, Dr. Boylan explains how a UFO sighting in 1977 led to his lifelong pursuit of UFO & ET research and a departure from his career in traditional clinical psychology. Next, we go back to the events of Roswell, 1947 and the ensuing government cover-up of the ET phenomenon. Then, we discuss Operation Paperclip and how German scientists, including Dr. Wernher Von Braun, were brought to the U.S. by the CIA after WWII. From there, we discuss how Von Braun and his spokeswoman Dr. Carol Rosin spent the latter years of Von Braun's life warning against weaponizing space and a planned “false flag” attack to stage a fake ET attack using reverse-engineered craft. From there, we discuss the development of the intelligence agencies and their relationship to the media. We then discuss a leaked video from Project Blue Book showing an ET from Zeta Reticuli being interrogated, and the warnings he had for humanity. We end the discussion talking about the ‘Tic Tac' aircraft, the Apollo space missions, and how we humans can clean up our acts to become peaceful members of the intergalactic community. Please enjoy! Can organizations afford to be silent or even neutral on important geo-political issues that cut at the heart of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion? Is silence the right strategy in the face of black voting rights, the tragedy that is Israel and Palestine, the 215 indigenous children found in a mass grave site in Canada, or the internment of almost 2 million Uyghur Muslims in Western China? This episode of VOICES WORTH LISTENING TO explains how silence is not an option. The episode suggests a four-step process that will give organizations the basis to take a stance in a way that builds their brand equity and actually augments trust among customers, employees and other key stakeholders.

As well as being willing to define the low moments and finding the strength to come back from them. We also explore the topic of rebirth from both a business and personal perspective. One of my favorite takeaways was this idea of what “muscle” do you want to work out and grow? My first reaction was all of them. I want to work out all the muscles and do all the things. Then I immediately became exhausted. I needed to slow my roll. The muscle that I've decided I am going to work out is welcoming abundance into my life by not holding to a scarcity mindset. The goodness, the positivity, the abundance, is out there and I'm just going to work on letting that in. Show Highlights Understanding and transitioning away from martyr syndrome The metaphors we choose to define a scenario we're in are hugely important Defining highs and lows of life and coming back from a “breakdown moment” Learning to celebrate the “muscle” that is the strongest and sculpting the kind of person you want to become Asking for help and welcoming it, and the rebirth of Rob’s approach to his company The notion of worrying, getting warning signals when we are looking at the world through a lens that might be unhealthy The importance of taking a moment and thinking about how you are perceiving a situation “What muscle do you want to work out? Because as we get older, the muscles that we don't work out, die first. What's left is the sculpture of how we've applied ourselves.” Rob Jordan Bonus Content:Download The “Don’t Worry” Flowchart Contact Rob Jordan:https://idealistconsulting.com/ Contact Renee: renee@reneemanning.com Instagram: @Biggest_small_things Subscribe: https://mailchi.mp/939b8210f2f2/bst

As the federal budget debate gets underway, the US Institute of Peace’s funding is on the chopping block. Today we will talk with Rev. Michael Neuroth, Policy Advocate for International Issues in the Washington office of the United Church of Christ. Mike will fill us in on this important institution, its Christian beginnings, and how its future can be bolstered by people like you. If you believe in peacemaking, listen carefully to what Mike has to say.
