Mopsbesitzer müssen sich ja gerne mit Vorurteilen rumschlagen: Der hat ´ne platte Nase, kann nicht richtig atmen, der kriegt Probleme! Moderatorin Karolin Kandler lässt sich davon nicht ärgern - sie hat einfach eine Schwäche für Möpse - aber eben die modernen - ohne die angesprochenen Rassenstandards von früher. Sie nennt Fritzi liebevoll einen "Sportmops", denn Fritzi hat lange Beine, null Probleme beim Atmen und ist so fit, dass er super gerne und ohne Probleme mit Karos Ehemann Joggen geht. Der war allerdings zunächst wenig begeistert davon, dass Karo sich einfach einen Vierbeiner zugelegt hat. Seine Liste mit Gegenargumenten war lang - doch bis zum Ende gelesen hat Karo nicht:-). Jetzt ist Fritzi wichtiger Teil der Familie und darf sogar mit zur Arbeit. Denn bei Karos Arbeitgeber Pro Sieben sind Hunde erlaubt. Und so harrt Fritzi auch gerne im Büro aus, während Karo die Pro Sieben Newstime moderiert. Das Medienunternehmen ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE hat in seinen Nachrichtenbereich investiert und produziert seit ein paar Wochen seine Nachrichten selbst. Die Fernsehzuschauer bekommen die Nachrichten mit dem Neujahr zu sehen, vermutlich im Mai sollen die Eigenproduktionen auch optisch in einer einheitlichen Form auftreten. Es ist allerdings nicht wirklich nachvollziehbar, warum die Verantwortlichen der Sendergruppe für rund 30 Minuten pro Tag so viel Geld in die Hand nehmen und dieses Budget nicht etwa in den Kauf neuer Serien investieren, um die jeweils zehn gleichen Serien, die seit Jahren bei Kabel Eins und ProSieben abgespult werden, nicht etwa zu ersetzen. Veit-Luca Roth und Fabian Riedner haben sich die neuen «Sat.1 Nachrichten», «Newstime» und «Kabel Eins News» angeschaut. Sie können ProSiebenSat.1 keine handwerklichen Fehler vorwerfen, teilweise wird auch die Auswahl der Nachrichten gelobt. Allerdings stellt sich die Frage, warum man so ein hohes Budget in mittelmäßige Informationsprogramme investiert. Für dieses Angebot hätte man durchaus weiterhin die Nachrichten von Welt beziehen können.

Born in a family of journalists, Sir was inspired by his father late NR Swami, who was correspondent of The Statesman, The Hindu and PTI from 30s to late 70s. His other three brothers (NVR Swami, N Pattabhi and late N Ramdas) followed in their father's footsteps. Sir started his career in Newstime in 1984 in Hyderabad before he joined Indian Express in 1986 and was in this paper till 2016. His last paper was Telangana Today where he worked as Deputy Editor heading sports desk. During his long career, he covered Test matches and the 2011 World Cup. He was part of the New Indian Express team that covered the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Apart from that be gave a lot of importance to local matches. For him, the biggest satisfaction was to write on Sania Mirza, VVS Laxman, PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal when they were very young. They went on become super stars of Indian sports. He retired at the age of 62 on November 30 as Deputy Editor of Telangana Today. It was an amazing conversation where a lot of aspects about his career and everything cricket was discussed, so don't miss out.
