The taste of the Sambal sauce In terms of flavor, sambal is generally quite spicy, thanks to the chili peppers that are used in its production. The heat level can vary depending on the specific type of chili peppers used and the amount of sambal that is added to a dish. In addition to the heat, sambal also has a bold, complex flavor that is a result of the combination of ingredients used in its production. The shallots and garlic provide a mild sweetness and a hint of pungency, while the vinegar and sugar add a touch of acidity and sweetness to balance out the heat of the chili peppers. The shrimp paste, if included, adds an additional layer of savory, umami flavor to the sauce. Overall, sambal is a flavorful and spicy condiment that adds a lot of character to the dishes it is used in. In the anupallavi, the poet continues to describe him as the amazing/wondrous (adbhuta) one that is praised (pORRum/pOTrum) by one and all: by children/cowherds (Ap(b)AlagOpAlam), those (avar) who inhabit this land/earth (talam) that is surrounded (SUr) by the seas (Azhi), kings (bhUpAlar) and the deities/demi-gods that gaurd (pAlakarum) the eight (asTha) directions (dik). The marvellous (arpuda) one who is worshipped by (pOtrum) by the young (bAla) cowherd gOpAlam) (= Krishna?), those from the place (dalattavar) surrounded (shUzh) by the ocean (Azhi), the kings (bhUpAlar) and the keepers (pAlar) (= deities) of the eight (ashta) directions (dik). In the caraNam, SrI sivan goes on to describe him as the one whose matted locks (mASaDayAn) bear (punai) the moon (madi), the gangA (punal - river), and is adorned by konrai, tumbai, and unmattai (Umattai) flowers as well as the sacred aRuk(g)am grass, and a snake (aravam). He is the one whose chest (mArban) is adorned by a garland (mAlai) of heads (talai), one of which is brahmA's (vidhi) fifth head[1]. He wears garments made of skin (tOluDayAn) stripped (uritta) from an elephant (kariyin) and tiger (vempuli). He whose matted hair (masadaiyAn) is adorned (punai) with the moon (madi), the river (punal) (=Ganga), the snake (aravu), kondrai flower (=Indian laburnum, a yellow flower), tumbai flower (=leucas, a white wildflower), arugam grass and Umattai flower (=datura, a purple flower). He whose chest (mArbAn) is adorned by a garland (mAlai) of Brahma's (vidi) head (talai), he who wears a skin (tOluDaiyAn) skinned (uritta) from a dark (kariya) [alternate : kariyin=of an elephant) mighty tiger (vem puli) . With his hands (kai) shining (ilangidum) with a drum (uDukkai) which makes a startling (adira) loud noise (muzhangum), a trident (tirushUlam), fire (angi) and a deer (kurangam). Worship well (tudi migu) the One who enchants the world (jagan mohana), his sacred body (tiru mEni) shining (tulanga) with ashes (sAmbal), who captures the heart of (manam kavar) the women (mangaiyar) who come before him (edir).

Facebook Post Link: https://www.facebook.com/love972fm/posts/3871166509567907叁峇秋葵 (2-3人份)材料秋葵 10根干虾米10克(在水中浸泡10分钟 )大蒜 3瓣(去皮剁碎)植物油 2汤匙 30毫升叁峇辣椒1汤匙 15毫升酱油 1茶匙 5毫升糖 1茶匙 5毫升柠檬汁 1汤匙 15毫升玉米淀粉水 (用于勾芡)玉米粉1茶匙 5毫升水 1茶匙 5毫升烹饪方法:切掉秋葵两端并将秋葵放在盘子上.在锅中加1碗水煮沸, 水烧开后,将秋葵块放在盘子上, 盖上锅盖蒸10分钟然后放在一边备用取出虾米,轻轻挤出多余的水,切碎.打开火炉,将炒锅加热.加入油和虾仁,秋葵炒1 ~ 2 分钟然后加入蒜末炒30秒加入叁峇,酱油,糖,柠檬汁,搅拌均匀30秒加入玉米淀粉水并充分搅拌, 收汁30秒酱汁增稠后,熄火,将酱汁倒在秋葵上,即成。=====Sambal Ladyfingers (Serves 2~3 persons)IngredientsLadyfingers 10 piecesDried Shrimps 10 g (soaked in water for 10minutes).Garlic 3 clovesVegetable Oil 2 tablespoons 30mlSambal Chilli 1 tablespoon 15mlLight Soya Sauce 1 teaspoon 5mlSugar 1 teaspoon 5mlLemon juice 1 tablespoon 15mlCornstarch water for thickening of sauceCornflour 1 teaspoon 5mlWater 1 teaspoon 5mlMethod of cooking:Cutaway both ends of the ladyfingers and place ladyfingers on a plateAdd one bowl of water to a wok and boil the water. DRAM Apothecary is a flavor and CBD infused sparkling water brand based out of Salida Colorado. Oscar Simone spoke with co-founder Shae Whitney to hear about their products, hands on operation and use of real plant based flavorings as opposed to the commonly misnomered “natural flavorings”. Morsinah Katimin is the creator of Sarjen Inc., A San Francisco based, Indonesian inspired line of naturally healing Jamu drinks and delicious Sambal hot sauces. She sat down with Oscar Simone to talk a bit about the flavors and ingredients in these products which can be traced back to Indonesian and South East Asian traditions as well as their centuries-old medicinal history. Natasha Bailey is the director of marketing and sales at The Green Dirt Farm, a small sheep milk cheese maker focused on creating the highest possible quality of product by valuing every step of production from the dirt, the grass, the sheep, the milk and finally: the cheese. After Donna Moodie's restaurant's plantain chips received so much love from their customers, Donna Moodie decided it was time to start sharing her crunchy, tasty and naturally gluten free snack with the rest of the world. Oscar Simone got to chat with Donna about how Ms. Marjorie’s Steel Drum Plantains continues to operate out of the restaurant with a familial team and thoughtfulness when it comes to packaging and presentation, as well as some darn good plantain chips. Every month the menu changes, but it has one thing in common: it is going to be mouthwatering good.   The start of `Just Crazy Delicious’ is in the month of July and we are disclosing the menu with a flourish: the appetizers are a tuna tartare with a tandoori crumble and a red beet salsa and potato soup with escargot tempura and pecorino foam. Then comes the risotto with sun-dried tomatoes and smoked almonds, crispy pork belly with a black bean sauce and wakame, mahi mahi wrapped in prosciutto with marinated baked bell pepper and a noily prat sauce. Malist pärit Samba Cissé on juba kümme aastat elanud ja töötanud Prantsusmaal. Kui ta läheb elamisluba taotlema saab mees teada, et ta on otsustatud riigist välja saata. Sambal pannakse käed raudu ja ta viiakse väljasaatmiskeskusesse. Sealt õnnestub tal siiski pääseda, kuid nüüdsest peale pole miski enam endine – ta ei saa enam kasutada oma nime ning Pariisis ellujäämiseks tuleb kõvasti pingutada.
