On today's podcast, I speak to Maricris and Richard, the sister and brother-in-law of Maya "May" Milette, the missing woman from Chula Vista and they share the events happening this weekend in San Diego that you can join! Also, it's Freaky Friday and Elaine and Paula from Wait, Whaaat podcast are talking about GROSS stories (WARNING: Not suitable for weak-stomached people), and I wanted to say THANK YOU as LIFE WITH HULA turns one on Saturday!
In this episode, Elaine talks about people who've disappeared then reappeared under very strange circumstances surrounding them, starting from the Michigan Triangle. Paula explores the world of past life regression and how looking into the past could help your current reality! It's another jaw dropping episode that'll make you say, 'Wait,Whaaat?'
On today's podcast, I share why I will be having FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), this weekend! Also, I share with you a story about how your dog can work for Anheuser-Busch and it's Freaky Friday and Elaine & Paula from Wait, Whaaat podcast join us to talk about all things SPOOKY!
I am on my last week of my intermittent fast and I am SO CLOSE to reaching a goal I never thought I would reach! Also, I have some stories "you need to know about" including a story about peeps pepsi! Plus, it's Freaky Friday and Elaine & Paula from Wait, Whaaat? podcast join us t talk about creepy hauntings around Route 66!
Rebinging Star Trek DS9: The Search, Part I Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Season 3 of Deep Space Nine! Everyone out there waiting for us to get to the “good stuff,” here we are! In this episode we meet the Defiant (finally) and we get some important costume upgrades (Odo has a belt???)! We also get some hair that we don’t approve of…but let’s just be clear, we don’t have a lot of hair ourselves so too much hair scares us. We also meet a new head of security (what’s his name) and there’s a Romulan on the team! Whaaat!? The Search, Part I In The Search, Part I our team heads out in a cloaked Defiant to locate the Founders in the Gamma Quadrant. We just want to talk and tell them we come in peace…while flying around their territory in our warship. The messages are confusing, but this is our “plan”. When some Jem’Hadar cockroach ships seem to detect our cloaked ship, we pretend like everything is fine and just keep going. Well the news is bad – they do know how to detect the Defiant and also how to disable it! Uh oh! And maybe worst of all we endure the crankiest Odo we’ve ever seen. He is crabby, growly and not cooperative with the team…and frankly, he’s a little scary. This is a two parter, so things don’t end well for our heroes. What will happen next? What’s this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. Please listen to some of our favorite episodes like Duet and The Wire or check out the previous episode, the Season 2 Wrap Up. Next time… Join us for the next episode S3E2: The Search, Part II! Be sure and join our Facebook group and Follow Rebinge It on Twitter!

When I first heard this myth -- parenting is about the child -- I thought, "Wait. Whaaat?!" If it's not about the child, what IS it about?! Well, my friends, that's what we talk about in this episode! This myth is so powerful that once you understand it, you will be transformed. Promise. This show is the second in our 8-part series on Conscious Parenting the parenting myths Dr. Shefali Tsabary so beautifully shared in her book, The Awakened Family. To bring this myth to life, we are joined by three amazing Conscious Parenting Coaches who generously share their wisdom and vulnerably share their stories: Jen Klein, Claudia Pape, and Janet Philbin. In the episode, we talk about:One of the most powerful questions every parent can (must!) ask themselves. It will totally transform your perspective on parenting. How understanding this myth ultimately led one of our guests — a self-professed perfectionist who thought "singing was the scariest thing in the world" — to take singing lessons (...AND she now regularly dances with her daughter on TikTok)And, finally, an amazing story of how another coach helped her daughter resolve a situation of anxiety and struggle....without saying a word to her; only changing how she showed up.If you're interested in learning more about these amazing coaches, please check out the series webpage at soulpathparenting.com.

Last week we talked about finding your inner guru, the voice of calm that you can call upon when your brain feels like it’s spinning out of control. This week I want to introduce you to the idea of finding an external guru. The concept is simple. Find an area where you struggle, whether practically or emotionally. And instead of troubleshooting, look for the person for whom this is natural, satisfying, even... dare I say it... fun? Actually, you don't need to go looking, because this summer I will be interviewing one powerful woman each week to be our guru in all the areas I hear most from you that you are struggling with. We figure out where that "Dance Monkey" song came from (Hint: it's Australia), why SZA's pissed about her Rolling Stone cover, who exactly Will Arnett's (now pregnant) girlfriend is, why Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin felt the need to "redo" New Year's Eve, if JustJared thinks that Lili Reinhart's new dog is actually a man, if Brittany Snow's bachelorette party was indeed "Pitch Perfect-themed", and play an incredible question-asking (and answering!) game.

I once had a boss who was a dead ringer for Bill Lumberg from the movie, Office Space, except instead of the braces and tie, she wore a stiff grey power suit. I still remember the daily rounds where she'd sidle up to each desk with, "Whaaat's happening...?" I also remember the smell of synthetic carpet, chosen more for its longevity under heavy foot traffic than its calm-inducing properties. I remember the acronyms and corporate platitudes that filled our conversations; the gentle hum of fluorescent lighting, and the pale blue palette of cubicles and walls. It was a soul-sucking prison of annual budgets, sales tactics and mechanised behaviours, and after two years, I'd had a gut-full. That was a long time ago, and no amount of money would lure me back to that environment. That's because today I work where, when and how I want. I walk my son to school and pick him up each day. That alone is worth a few $100k to me. But how do you 'earn the right' to escape the office and work from home (or anywhere but the office)? I reckon there are three critical things you have to do, and that's what I cover this week.

What does this concept mean, that you are 100% responsible for everything in your life? How can that possibly be true? It’s everywhere in the personal development literature. THAT'S A WRAP! HOUSE OF FI 2018 A END OF THE YEAR REVIEW What an incredible year it has been. We started a podcast ya'all! We can barely believe it ourselves. What motivated two busy moms, with nine kids between them, with no training or experience to step outside their comfort zone? Well, we both saw a need. We saw a void in the FIRE movement. What we saw lacking was a voice and sufficient resources for moms and dads who were on their journey to FI. But not just traditional moms an dads - the full spectrum of parenthood. So we decided to do something about it! We launched our show in August of 2018, but prior to launching there were eight months of preparation behind the scenes. Not just interviewing people, but learning equipment, working out kinks, figuring out how to edit. It was more work than we could have ever anticipated, which was probably a good thing, because had we know the level of difficulty when we started, we may never have begun. Our Vision Some of you may not know this, but we did all of this while getting to know one another. Timika and I were strangers one year ago. We knew each other's names from a common facebook group, but that was the extent of it. But there was a common desire - we wanted to help others and it was this common ground that has been fertile soil for not just this podcast partnership, but an amazing friendship. We Could Not Have Done This Without You! We have had some great guests on the show. They have been so gracious in agreeing to come on a show that was growing. Without them, there would be no show. So, to all of our guests, many who have become fast friends, we send a big HUGE virtual hug. We love you guys and are so thankful to know you. Your money advice has been incredible...here are some of the highlights. 10 BEST Money Lessons of 2018 And to our listeners...you are simply the BEST. You have helped us grow and have truly humbled us. We seriously began this journey having NO IDEA what we were doing. But, we knew there was a need and we knew that as two busy moms, with careers, and all the stuff that comes with running a household - that if we could bring on guests that would help OUR financial independence journey - they would help yours too! So, thank you for stopping by our house; we're glad you were here. Our house is your house. Top 100....whaaaat?!?! Because of your support, we have reached some pretty big goals. TOP 20% OF ALL PODCASTS. (Whaaat! That is just amazing guys.) We have been in the top 100 of two of our categories, business and investing several times Our weekly listeners have grown more than 10 times since we first started We reached 11,000 downloads in November in record time ....we can't wait to update you when we reach 25,000. Our commitment to you is to continue to bring on guests that serve your needs and to provide inspiration and practical tools to blow your 2019 Money Goals out of the water! We'd love to help you do that... If you would like to be part of our 2019 Money Coaching Program, shoot us a PM on Facebook, email us at info@houseoffi.com, or send us a message via our contact page and simply let us know you want in! We are taking pre-registrations now. https://houseoffi.com/contact/ 2018 LISTENER READS One of our favorite questions we have asked our listeners this year is to ask what they are reading. Who doesn’t love a good read, right? Especially this time of year when we can cozy up under a blanket. You would think a bunch of Money Nerds would only be reading a bunch of financial books, WRONG. Lots of interesting picks in the mix, including a couple written by our amazing guests. The Hole in Our Gospel Profit First Total Money Makeover Ask Cruise Confidential Money Letters 2 My Daughter Spinning Silver Naked and Unashamed Wendy and Timika Have Their Own Picks Becoming by Michelle Obama Girl Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis Profit First and, The Next Millionaire Next Door IT'S BEEN AN AMAZING YEAR! WE CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT 2019 BRINGS!

"Whaaat, how strange is that?", denkt ihr euch möglicherweise? Wir auch. Anfangs. Doch Elisa erklärt uns brav alle unsere Fragen und bleibt dabei stets krass sympathisch. Wer danach nicht kuscheln will, ist kein Mensch. Viel Spaß also mit unserer Profi-Kuschlerin Dr. Elisa Meyer! Who won Black Friday and Cyber Monday? The shifting state of fashion in 2018. Weirdest news of the week in retail (involves Unicorns). ---- Who won Black Friday and Cyber Monday? Winners: Best Buy According to data from QSR International, Best Buy was tagged the most in tweets categorized as "very positive," and it overall had the most successful advertising campaign of 15 brands studied. That's likely because the retailer took a different strategy this year — veering away from pushing a sense of urgency in its advertising language with phrases like "sale ends soon," "limited time" or "one day only." Instead, the retailer opted for more helpful messaging about free shipping and financing options. Amazon (duh) Mobile - According to Adobe's estimates, mobile drove 54% of visits and 37% of digital revenue. Conversions have been a tough battle for retailers in the past, but they showed progress, with rates up 16.5% for smartphones and 13% for tablets from the year-ago period. Small retailers - According to Adobe Data, Small retailers (under $10 million in annual revenue) saw 30 percent higher conversion rates on smartphones than large retailers. Losers (so harsh, we know): In-store traffic - In-store traffic dropped a combined 1.6% on those days over last year, and Black Friday visits alone decreased less than 1% when compared to Black Friday 2016, according to data collected by retail analytics company Shoppertrak. Websites! While it's tailored to fashion, the core tenets apply to all. Quick fact from the report: The McKinsey Global Fashion Index forecasts industry sales growth to nearly triple between 2016 and 2018, from 1.5 percent to between 3.5 to 4.5 percent. We are bringing you the weirdest, most WHAAAT inducing, shocked-emoji-face news of the week - in retail… This week it’s an old reliable that has resurfaced in an epic way. It’s Paris Hilton who is launching an "all-natural" skincare line starting with a rose water mist branded Unicorn Mist. But don’t be distracted by her history or Instagram account - she’s a savvy businesswoman who has launched 23 successful scents and is known as one of the world's top DJs, sometimes commanding $1 million a gig. I want to start by apologizing for our delay in getting you our latest podcast. We had an emotional few weeks here at BCC headquarters but we are making our way back into our regularly scheduled programming (‘member that saying from network television?) And, what a surprise podcast I have for you. I invited Tony (my hubby) to talk about our marriage. Whaaat?! I know! And, I know you are thinking, “What does this have to do with fitness?" Nothing. Absolutely nothing. So, why? Because of YOU. Many of you have asked Tony and I through the years about our marriage. How did we manage so many years? How do we still laugh with each other everyday? How can we possibly still like each other? And, what are our qualifications? None. Absolutely zero. Except, in May, we will celebrate thirty years of marriage. And, we are happy. Very happy. And, we really like each other. Like, we really enjoy spending time together. And, we love each more today than we did thirty years ago. Now, before you “ba humbug” out of this email and avoid this podcast because you think it is all sugar and spice and everything nice, hold up. There were many battles fought to secure thirty years of togetherness. There were an obscene amount of tears, heartbreak and silent treatments to find our “happily ever after”. And, there was a moment in which a decision had to be made, and I think you will be shocked when you hear what it was and the answer. And, we share ALL of this. The good, the bad and the funk nasty. And, we each also pick our top three strategies for a successful marriage. And, here is a hint, they are all NOT the same! Here is a sneak at what we discussed… • The only thing that kept Tony married to me, and it happened over twenty years ago. • The one voice I always call on to talk sense into Tony. • Why I was never getting married. • Who is Tony’s real #1. Now, go grab a coffee or wine, grab your spouse, and push play. Then, you can join me and Toners for this really special episode of our BCC podcast. As always, I feel blessed you are listening. Thank you for your time. I understand how important it is, and I will always try my best to provide you with the greatest information and content on the planet. And, if you have topics you would like me to cover or questions I can answer, please email me at lori@bootcamp-challenge.com. And, obvi, it can be ANY topic! Smiles, Me xoxo
Just me today chatting about the pay the bills jobs we need to do to keep us afloat, but more specifically about how, for once, I have been able to look at this positively! I know! WHAAAT! It's nice to see London at 5am, it's good to get out of the house and focus on something completely different, just to give you a break from your own mind, cos if you're anything like me... We can spend too much time lurking in the shadows of our own brains! No auditions coming in! NADA! But again, not such a MASSIVE issue, why? Because I'm inspired by other opportunities that I have complete control over. I have other progressions to be makin'... don't get me wrong it's not ideal but it ain't the end of the world because I have other shit to do as well! I stopped going to counselling as I'm broke, so you guys have to be my new counsellors, thanks! Comedy coming up at The Soho Theatre! 15th July (This Saturday) Downstairs £5 entry 16:00 get tickets here... Have a great week. ENJOY!!!

Positivity guru, Shola Richards, is my guest this week! This guy's the real deal- we talk about very personal memories and events in our lives, and the catalysts for change. Shola's hot button is bullying, especially in the workplace )something adults don't talk about) and he's on a mission to educate, enlighten and sow the seeds of positivity, kindness, and empathy- this is a guy I can get behind, because these are the most important qualities within all of us, and sometimes, we need a little help remembering to get out of our own little worlds. AMIRIGHT? Pick up his book, "Making Work Work" on Amazon and get to know him- Hardcover for $8.44... WHAAAT?(there's a link on the LWAG website). He's definitely a fellow worth knowing! Enjoy, and thanks for listening! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
It's Oscar weekend - or as Rob thinks of it, That Thing He Avoids Watching At All Costs. Nevertheless, we will give our thoughts on the races, the faves, the certain losers - and that's just for the Red Carpet. Nah, we'll talk Oscars. Like how those assault allegations are just *now* surfacing about Casey Affleck, when Nate Parker got blown out of the water before "Birth of a Nation" even opened. And we'll talk about the movies, too. Plus we'll discuss "The Great Wall" - yes, Todd saw it, living up to our motto, We Watch It So You Don't Have To. We'll talk superhero flicks as always. We'll hype "Payback", a sadly underappreciated 70's crime flick that was actually made in 1999 and diss "Payback: Straight Up", the inferior director's cut. There's also a totally unpaid unsolicited plug for an awesome streaming service on Roku called Fandor, and Rob's inimitable "Yes, No, Maybe, and WHAAAT" segment. Shenanigans, I say!
Rob and Todd are forced to resign as they were revealed as Russian - sorry, wrong story. Rob and Todd return to talk about "John Wick 2", "Samurai Jack", why the lead in a Best Picture nominee was nominated as Best *Supporting* Actor, the latest docucomedy from Michael Moore and why *everybody* should have seen it before the election last year. Ooo ooo ooo, and Girlfriend's Day! Plus the partly spectacular "Yes, No, Maybe, Whaaat" segment, and more, including the first academy-award nominated VIRTUAL REALITY movie! Come for the hijinks, get a free order of shenanigans!

And that’s where they first emerged as pioneers in the Influencer Economy. “It was 2007, YouTube had been around culturally and people had known of it for about a year,” Hank said of his origins on the platform. So they just started making videos, creating Brotherhood 2.0, a year during which the Green brothers communicated daily with each other by video instead of by phone, e-mail, or text messages. “A fun, jokey, trying-to-one-up-each-other brother project” is how Hank explained it. One of his vlogs to John, a musical tribute to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, made the front page of YouTube. Many fans attribute their discovery of the Greens’ yearlong experiment to that “Accio Deathly Hallows” song—coming across the video and then binging on the rest of the vlogs. After their successful year of Brotherhood 2.0, the Greens honed their vision and created their new Vlogbrothers YouTube channel with similar content and shared it with a growing community that they called “Nerdfighters.” This online community of Vlogbrothers’ supporters joined forces with Hank and John, and their vision evolved over time. Please leave the podcast a review on iTunes. The iTunes link. It helps new people learn about the podcast and we would greatly appreciate your support. :) Here’s how Hank explained what Nerdfighters are fighting for: “I do like the idea that a goal of humans is to decrease suck and increase awesome. That was a saying from early Vlogbrothers. But those are two different things. It’s so objectively better to decrease suck. You know, people have awful lives. People die of preventable diseases, hunger, wars . . . These are problems we can solve. The only reason we aren’t solving them is because we haven’t applied the right amount of resources, both cognitive and monetary. And that’s messed up. But you can’t go through life just playing defense. You also have to do interesting things. You have to send a rover to Mars and have the World Series. These things are good. They help us lead full lives and allow us to apply ourselves to other goals.” I first knew Hank and John as the creators of VidCon, the largest conference for online video world, bringing together over 20,000 video content creators, the web video online community, and industry executives to an annual conference in Anaheim, California. It’s my favorite conference in the world because it’s the only conference where the community, creators, and companies all hang out under one roof. I have attended VidCon since its inception, when it was just a couple hundred people hanging out at a hotel bar and ballroom in the Century City neighborhood of Los Angeles. Even before VidCon, the Vlogbrothers understood how YouTube-wide collaborations could help to improve lives. Since 2007, their Project for Awesome (P4A) has been an annual call for videos from fellow YouTubers and Nerdfighters that highlight charitable causes in everything from education and health care to food insecurity. In December of each year, thousands of people post videos on the across YouTube, where both influencers and the community promote and raise funds for these charities. Video creators are instructed to tag the videos with P4A in the video descriptions in order to help The Vlogbrothers and others discover each video. Joining forces with the crowdsourcing website Indiegogo, the 2014 and 2015 Project for Awesome managed to raise over a million dollars. By 2013, Crash Course and SciShow had both outlived the start-up money provided by YouTube. This got Hank thinking that it was time to roll out a voluntary subscription service that enabled fans to fund his education programming and the work of other online creators. “It’s tied into this idea that we want to help creators create professionally. We want to do that for ourselves and for other people because it’s a great job.” He and his brother launched the crowdfunding website Subbable, which was enormously helpful to more than 20 artists and creators, as well as the fans who love their work. Patreon, the San Francisco–based crowdsourcing company, acquired the website two years after it went live. Hank said both companies started at about the same time and have obvious similarities. “When Patreon launched, we were like ‘Whaaat?!’ because, of course, we had been working on it for six months. I called [Jack Conte, the founder] because I had known Jack before then and said, ‘Just so you know, I’m about to launch the exact same thing, but we’ve spent so much money on it that we can’t not do it.’” It’s hard to say if Hank and John will also end up saving the planet. After all, this is still the early days of the Nerdfighters’ fight. But just from the vibe at VidCon alone, it already looks like the world sucks a little less. For Hank personally, the conference and his other enterprises have at least become rewarding in ways that he never anticipated. “Running a business is a creative thing, like dealing with people and getting the best work out of them. Understanding their motivations aren’t the same as your motivations. It’s all a bunch of moving parts, a piece of artwork in its own way. The fact that I get to do 20 different things, and that Monday looks nothing like Tuesday, is just really satisfying to me. It’s allowed me to build up a toolkit of both personal skills and, you know, having all of these great people who work with me—it allows for creativity on a level that I never believed I could have access to." Each year in June, in my home town of Camrose, Alberta, an event called Jaywalkers Jamboree is a very big deal. A visit to my home town brought back a flood of memories from the very first Jaywalkers Jamboree in 1957. It was such a radical idea. Close off Main Street. Bring merchandise outdoors. Whaaat?

100 episodes! Whaaat?! This celebratory episode involves me drunk dialing a bunch of you on Skype. We'll get to that. But first, a little background and thank you... My podcast--The Tim Ferriss Show--was started on a whim. It was intended as a break between big book projects. "I'll do six episodes to get better at interviewing" was the grand goal. In the first episode (and after two bottles of wine), Kevin Rose nicknamed the show TimTimTalkTalk (damn you, KevKev). Later, after reviewing my ridiculously slurred and iffy questions ("If you were a breakfast cereal, which would you be?"), I let out a long sigh. I've always hated the sound of my own voice, but this was the worst. The Tim-as-host idea would not last. Or so I thought. Now, here we are, passing the 100-episode mark. It's crazy, and I can say one thing for certain -- I've only made it this far because of YOU. Your amazing feedback, support, questions, and comments are what kept this podcast alive. Amidst self-doubt (similar to this) and many mistakes, I've wanted to throw in the towel more than once. But, through thick and thin, you've been there, telling my monkey mind to chill the fuck out, to take a deep breath, to go to sleep, to fight another day. Thank you. To celebrate, and as a throwback to episode #1, I posted a note on Twitter and Facebook asking fans to put their contact information in a short Google form (note: I've deactivated the link): I'm going to be drunk dialing fans within 30 min, answering your questions! Just fill out this form and I might call: http://t.co/E4Xub881qB — Tim Ferriss (@tferriss) September 8, 2015 The result of my vodka-infused orgy of telephonic idiocy is below. We cover a lot of subjects, including: - Tantric sex - How I view and organize my various income streams - Marketing yourself in job interviews - My views (and challenges) with family and kids - How I dig out of negative downward spirals - And much more... I also left semi-coherent voicemails for a number of you. Once again, thank you so much for listening to this podcast. It means the world to me. You guys rock. Enjoy! Our first episode of 2015! Wohoo!!! The great, enjoyable Matt Micheletti (@onmattalon, Comedy On Fire, First Friday Night Live) watched the lost episode of the Golden Girls with us. The only episode iTunes skips and not found anywhere but DVD... Is it a conspiracy? Probably. It's the one where Dorothy finds out she's dating a married guy, then gets back with him. Whaaat?!! We talked about vehicle insurance fraud, dusty medicine balls and slavery.
Welcome!
Topics include wild game dinner's, harlem shake videos, and negative outlooks on life. (cure for every major disease disclosed, so your gonna wanna listen) More music WHAAAT we're a regular SNL
Episode 15 published on August 15 which happens to be my birthday?!!? WHAAAT?! That's too crazy! Just like LA- the theme of this week's Femoir: The Podcast! Enjoy the silliness and the craziness. And if you don't... well, don't tell me until my birthday has passed. That's just common courtesy, people! As always, more to see, explore and love at the website www.femoir.com!
Hey there Cinemaster fans. We are back again with one of our signature Tasty Bites. In this Coming Attractions episode we are going to circle back to a couple of films that Ron and Adam missed seeing somewhere along the line. That’s why we call this segment “WHAAAT??? You haven’t seen that???” because typically that’s the response we get. Yes, we’ve seen a lot of movies but there are also still a LOT of movies out there. So we use this as a special place to slow down just a little, like we’re in a Welch’s jelly commercial, and smell the cinematic roses. This time around we will be covering a pretty broad spectrum as we go back to the early 1960’s for Adam’s pick and shoot forward to the mid 90’s for Ron’s. We will look at Audrey Hepburn’s most iconic role as Holly Golightly in the scintillating classic film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” as well as the high intensity of two film titans going head to head on the big screen in a matchup of De Niro v. Pacino in “Heat”. Will these selections from the film library of yester-year prove to be worth our Cinemasters effort or should these flicks have stayed frozen in time? To find out you’ll have to tune in to this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!
Hey there scary movie fans, it’s time for another installment of Cinemasters of the Universe and this one’s going to be spooktacular! Our hosts, Ron and Adam, are duking it out a second time in the Trivia Junket to see who’s the “Best Boy” when it comes to obscure movie knowledge. And since it’s October, this trivia is all about horror movies. Then it’s on to the Feature Presentation. Our fellas are taking on the haunting task of strolling through the last 50 years of the macabre cinema to bring you some of their high points, and low ones too, of the creepiest offerings that Hollywood has brought us over the last half century. From the early days of Alfred Hitchcock to the recent resurgence in movies that go bump in the night from James Wan, our fearless fanatics will be taking on everything from Slasher flicks to found footage and all the zombies you can pack in the middle. It’s a topic that’s sure to make you scream…with delight. Finally, we get this episode’s post credits scene. The guys are doing a “WHAAAT??? You haven’t seen ______???” again and this time it’s with a frightening twist. Somewhere in the catalog of horror flicks there has to be one or two that Ron and Adam haven’t seen and that’s the challenge this time around. To find out what they pick you’ll just have to tune in to this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE…if you dare…
As we last left our heroes they were embroiled in another fantastic quandary of whether or not they were, in fact, Rad Dads. This cliffhanger ending (nearly 2 months ago) had us on the edge of our seats as Ron, our Courageous Cinematic Commander, and Adam, the Plucky Theatric Rascal, vowed to bring two classic films from the annals of their infancy in filmdom to the forefront of their own children’s theatrical education today. This is always a risky endeavor as some films don’t have the movie magic to pass the test of time. How will their families respond? Are Ron and Adam Rad Dads or Bad Dads? You’ll have to watch or listen to find out. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Once we get their full check in from that mission its straight on to the next. This time the boys decided to pick their favorite year in movies. For these fellas we knew it was going to be difficult as that’s a lot of years of movie watching. You might be surprised where they land and even more surprised as they burn through 10 movies a piece. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry. You might get up for a bathroom break as these guys can really talk about movies for a long time. No matter what you do, you’ll be sure to enjoy this fun jaunt down memory lane. And just before you know it, we’re right back to another teaser. These two certainly do like to keep us in bittersweet anticipation of what they’ll do next. It’s a reprisal of a popular segment they did before. “WHAAAT? YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THAT???” pops back up for them to each pick a movie, recent or not, famous or not, that they’ve always meant to see and haven’t yet. To see what they pick you’ll have to watch or listen and to see what they SAY about those movies you’ll just have to tune in next time to the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE! Ohh boy, this time around these guys are doin…doin some crazy movie stuff. They’re gonna tell you guys how things with Rad Dads went with their kids when they watched their Rad Dad movies. You’ll be totally blown away by just what they say about that whole thing. They’re gonna tell you which movies they watched and then even some more information about how their families and kids responded to those movies that they picked out and watched. Its gonna blow your minds wide open. Then after that part is done they’re gonna move on to a whole other part and guess what that has in it? Even more movie talk, you know? It’s all movies all the time with these two guys and this time they are going to talk about their favorite years for movies. When you hear what years they picked out and talked about movies from those years you won’t even believe it when you hear them talking. Oooohwee! Finally once they’re done with that part they’re gonna tease you one more time with something else, another movie thing to tease like with a movie teaser kind of thing, you know? And this time they’re doing another one of those “Wow, you haven’t ever seen this movie before? I can hardly believe that you haven’t seen it since you watch so many movies” or whatever they call it. But they each pick a movie to go back and watch and you’ll hardly even believe it when you hear the movies they picked out. So just strap in and just buckle up for a whole big bunch of excitement when you watch or listen to the newest podcast from the Cinemaster of the Universe. Aww geez.
Welcome back theater hoppers to another exciting feature of the Cinemasters of the Universe! The boys are all the way up to episode 14. Mitch is now completely installed as the Best Boy of this production, and we kick this episode off with the Coming Attractions. Last we left our Cinemasters they were checking a couple titles off their missed inventory in another round of “WHAAAT??? You haven’t seen THAT???” Ron gives us his take on the precursor to Coach Bombay Emilio Estevez’s Repo Man and Adam takes us back to a black and white Western with George Bailey and Big Jake in “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance”. Were these flicks worth their time or did they get left on the theater floor like a half-eaten box of sour patch kids? Tune in and find out. Moving on to the Feature Presentation we revisit a regular feature looking ahead at the next 3 months of what’s coming out soon. Our Leading Men pick their most anticipated releases coming out in September, October and December. Each of our Cinemasters comes prepared with a few alternates in the event of inevitable overlap so that you get the 10 best picks these two fellas can put together. Want to know what to look forward to as we head into the end of 2019? Well you’ll have to tear your ticket and grab a seat to find out what makes the projection booth and what’s left on the cutting room floor when it comes to big flicks coming soon. Finally, we’ll take a peek at the Post Credits sneak peek of what to look forward in our next episode. The guys are gonna pull out the casting couch once again and see if they can’t test their luck in revamping a couple of Hollywood classics with some fresh new faces. Ron challenges Adam to redo the Oscar Winning “My Cousin Vinny” with some very clear parameters of just who needs a casting update and Adam takes it a little easier on Ron with Back to the Future. To see who’s playing the new Vincent Gambini and Marty McFly you’ll simply have to swing by Blockbuster and rent the next new release of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!
Hey Idiots! Oh. My. God. This interview was SO fun! I sat down with my friend Sydnee Waggoner, who I used to play soccer with back in middle and high school. She now lives in PRAGUE and is a PROFESSIONAL OPERA SINGER! WHAAAT!?? So cool! She came to my show and then I had to ask her all my dumb questions about opera. But ALSO she was Miss Alaska once upon a time so of course I had to pry and find out behind the scenes drama and what pageant life is like. We talk about the changes undergoing the Miss America pageant and all the pressure that comes with being a beauty queen, which she never expected to be! Enjoy this episode and go see an opera!
