This week I'm excited to welcome Clinton Sparks to the show for a wide ranging talk about music, creativity, entrepreneurship, fatherhood, and technology. Clinton is a pioneer in the field of internet radio, first popularizing mixtapes which he leveraged into hosting radio shows in Boston, Baltimore, and Connecticut. Clinton went on to host Sirius XM's Shade 45 and was the long-time host of a worldwide syndicated radio show called SmashTime Radio. In July 2020, Sparks co-founded and became the chief business development officer of the newly formed XSET, an esports and lifestyle gaming organization. He also hosts the Twitch show, Win Big with Clinton Sparks. In 2012 Clinton was nominated for a Grammy for his production work on Lady Gaga's Born This Way. That same year, Clinton also won a BMI Songwriting award for writing Pittbull's “Shut it Down” and has since won several ASCAP Awards with DJ Snake as part of his Get Familiar Music publishing company. Clinton has written and produced songs for a number of notable acts, including Akon, Ludacris, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Sean amongst numerous others. Das Ungewöhnliche war die Norm/ sein Normal. Seit immer schon ist die Sinnessuche wichtig und der Wunsch nach Anerkennung hoch. Wer bin ich? Was will ich sein? Der kleine Junge ist irgendwann in einen großen Mann hinein gewachsen und sieht als scharfsinniger Beobachter, der gerne das Gesamtbild betrachtet den Druck auf Männer. Das toxische Männerbild. Sich behaupten, verteidigen müssen. Was hat James Bond damit zu tun? Und der Kugelfisch? Monty Python oder der Joker? Narzissmus, Fluchtreflexe und die Farbe Lila? Patrice ist ein „Overthinker“, der gelernt hat seine Gedanken auch fühlen zu lassen. Seine Gefühle ins Bewusstsein zu holen. Sie wach zu kitzeln und zu reflektieren. But my favourite my favourite thing about Pitbull is the fact that he can't decide on a nickname. He is either Mr. 305 or he is Mr. Worldwide, which therefore implies that the entirety of the 305 area code is actually the world to either him, which could either be very sweet, or the fact that he doesn't travel a lot.   Becky: 305, Miami, I am assuming?   Matthew: Yes.   Becky: Yeah, okay.   Mathew: So that is where he is from. I am assuming he is Cuban. Got it right. Like you can you can hear him like a train barrels towards the end.   Becky: Those are make the favourite raps. Post Malone, I hate that guy so much for this. At one point, he says something. He is trying to rhyme something. Instead of saying Luck Roy, he is says Lecroy, so he can rhyme it. First off, I hate that damn drink anyways. Second, you cannot even pronounce it right. Why? Just so you can fit in your little rap. Mr. Syracuse? I don't think so.   Matthew: Oh, he is from Syracuse.   Becky: Yeah.   Matthew: Congrats. As far as bad lyrics and also his self-esteem, because he immediately feels like R.I.P too Bigg and Pac. That he is not, but damn, he is hot.
