In this week's episode, Aoife and Jenny explore how young children naturally use descriptive language — and when words like "fat" start to carry negative meanings. They discuss examples from popular books and TV shows, like The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Peppa Pig, and the subtle impact these messages can have on kids' body image and self-esteem. Should we avoid certain words or teach children to use them with kindness and respect? Tune in for a thoughtful conversation on fostering positive language and self-worth from an early age.Support us:https://www.instagram.com/little_steps_big_futures/https://www.facebook.com/littlestepsbigfutures
In this episode of Oh Crap Potty Training, we're talking about a question that trips up so many parents: Should you tell your child ahead of time that you're starting potty training? Some kids need a heads-up, while others will use that time to dig in their heels. And what about when your toddler says, I'll potty train when I'm three—do you wait? (Spoiler: No.) Plus, we'll dive into why kids get so attached to diapers and how your language around potty training can make or break the process. Let's make this as smooth as possible—because trust me, drawn-out potty training is not the goal!(00:00:02) "Potty Training and Parenting Integration Podcast"(00:04:26) Positive Language for Successful Potty Training Transition(00:08:30) "Complete Commitment Accelerates Potty Training Progress"(00:14:11) Understanding Child Development Stages for Effective GuidancePeeing SolutionsPooping SolutionsWithholding GroupJamie's InstagramOh Crap! 因为我相信Positive Language(积极的语言), Positive Mind(积极的想法), Positive Life(积极的人生)。 Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

“Love is the reason for everything, so yeah, maybe vague wasn't the right word. But I feel like if you tell someone to ‘love yourself', it sounds so simple. But I don't think many people have actually fully been there. I haven't for sure. It's a lifelong journey to fully loving yourself because you have to love yourself at every stage to have the most fulfilling life. In my opinion, to have love for yourself whether things are going perfectly or not, you have to have love and acceptance for that.” Episode #75 of The Hope Initiative with Peyton Elroy. Peyton Elroy grew up in Southern California with her parents and 2 younger brothers, and I have no doubt her ideas and passion for health and astrology amongst a host of others will take her around this wild world of ours. After coming across Peyton on Twitter, I reached out to have her on as a guest of the podcast and we had this brilliantly wide ranging and fun conversation, our first of many, I'm sure.In this chat we discuss the energy held within different cities and the importance of eye contact with strangers. Peyton's exploration into veganism and other "radicalised ideas" about health. We also chat astrology, mediums, past lives and being described as an old soul. "Mommy mode" and homeschooling our small tribes one day also got a run.It was such a fun conversation and I'm honoured to be presenting it to you !Please enjoy.SHOW NOTESwww.peytonelroy.comwww.patreon.com/peytonelroyFollow Peyton on Instagram Follow Peyton on Twitter The Secret Language of Birthdays - Book I referred to when chatting astrology

Do you ever find yourself feeling depressed or hopeless? You would be amazed at how much of this has to do with the language we use to describe reality. Most people assume that what they think or feel is accurate all the time and that speaking about it is just being 'real'. In today's message I want to give you a red-hot idea that can truly transform your daily experience. It's so simple I can't believe that everyone is not doing it.

Birth Mother Matters in Adoption Episode 32: Adoption Positive Language Here are some reasons why adoption language is important. Educating others: There are a great many negative myths and ideas surrounding adoption. It clouds what can be a beautiful way to become a family in a scary light. Because of stories on the news, and uneducated members of society -that being adopted is shameful and something to be hidden, sometimes there is negativity surrounding the notion of adoption.Protect the pride and mind of the child as well as the families involved. Biological parents are no more “real” than adoptive parents. A biological parent can choose adoption for their child if they cannot provide for emotionally or financially, but they do not “give them away”. To avoid shaming a child. Telling a child “You’re so lucky your parents adopted you” sends a message that can cause shame, misunderstanding and confusion. There is loss involved in an adoption that children cannot easily underdstand. The adoptive parents are the lucky ones in this situation to be able to adopt. If you want to compliment a adoptive family you could say something like “You have a beautiful family."
Our choice of words when we talk to ourselves or about ourselves to others ultimately affects the way to perceive ourselves and our role in the world around us. When we have negative thoughts about ourselves, we lose self-love and confidence. On the other hand, when we speak kind words, we become braver to push boundaries and take on new opportunities. In this podcast, I share with you the power of positive language and how you can speak kinder to yourself. New Episode Every Monday! Instagram: www.instagram.com/cupohappypodcast

So what will I'd rather stay in Thailand and be a nobody in a strange land and then give up that identity. NewWordskindness美 ['kaɪndnəs] n. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness.
