Summary In this conversation, the speakers discuss various topics related to gaming, including the purchase of a streaming PC, the process of buying games on PC, and the challenges of the weekly camo grind in Warzone. They also talk about the lack of map changes in Warzone and the stale ground loot. The speakers share their thoughts on the Gulag and the use of lasers, as well as the viability of different weapons in multiplayer. The conversation in this part of the recording focused on various topics related to the gameplay experience in Call of Duty: Warzone. The speaker discussed strategies in the Gulag, the lack of gun variety and identity in MW3, the importance of finding the right attachments for guns, and the challenges of optimizing games for mobile devices. They also touched on the tension between realism and non-realism in the Call of Duty community and the expectations for graphics in mobile games. The conversation discusses the experience of playing Call of Duty Mobile and highlights several key points. The speaker initially mentions technical issues and frustrations with the game, but ultimately finds it fun and enjoyable. They note that the game lacks skill-based matchmaking (SBMM), resulting in matches that feel random. The speaker also praises the familiarity and nostalgia of the map, which plays well and allows for strategic gameplay. They discuss the differences in aim assist between the mobile version and the main game, highlighting the need for manual correction and the rewards of skill. The conversation concludes with a discussion on the importance of practice and the speaker's differing opinions on SBMM. The conversation in this part focuses on the negative impact of skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) in games. The speaker believes that SBMM should only be implemented within loose parameters and that there should be a minimum skill level for matchmaking. They argue that players who are brand new to gaming or have disabilities should not face highly skilled players. The speaker also discusses the frustration of facing tough opponents due to SBMM and the need for a better matchmaking system. They mention the mixed experience in Warzone Mobile, where players face a variety of skill levels. After Daniel's last deployment he was looking to start his own business. He had some experience and education in accounting so that field made the most sense. When he discovered the Bookkeeping Business Launch program, he decided to take the leap. [3:50] Painters were the niche that Daniel served, mainly due to running a painting business of his own in college and because he knew where to find them and no one was serving the market directly. [5:10] Daniel planted a lot of seeds early on, including LinkedIn, guest blog posting, and more, that netted him his first few clients. [7:00] Bookkeeping for the first time was the first challenge that Daniel had to overcome. Once he started taking on clients, finding good people to help him scale his growing business was the major hurdle. [9:00] Daniel had to get himself out of the business so that it can continue without him due to having to deploy in the near future. This gives him flexibility once he returns to the business when the deployment ends. [11:30] The value that Daniel's business provides involves advising clients on their own businesses. Daniel and his staff understand the back end of the painting niche so well that the relationship becomes more than bookkeeping. They provide consulting and advice on growing their client's business and the technology involved. [15:30] In regards to feedback, knowing the important KPI's for the painting business, in addition to the bookkeeping, gives Daniel an edge over his competitors. [17:10] System building is Daniel's focus, so much so that he's going to come out to one of Ben's events to show other bookkeepers how to do it. [18:50] Daniel finds meeting with people and having conversations to be very fatiguing, indicating that he's probably an introvert. [21:10] Niching is very important. If you figure out your target market first, you will see results earlier on. If you can't find a niche, find a client and figure it out later. Processes are important before you bring people on, get your processes 80% done before hiring. [26:00] Daniel's current bottleneck is that his business needs more advisors in order to scale, and finding the right person with the right personality traits and knowledge base is quite the challenge. He uses the DISC personality test quite a bit to make sure that the team members in his business are working to their strengths. Without his current advisor, Daniel's business would seriously struggle. [32:15] One is none, and two is one. Redundancy and cross training can mean the difference between a difficult challenge and a disaster. What Daniel should do is write out the activities that he needs to duplicate with his current advisor and prioritize them. If you're looking to hire, first you need to define the work that you need to have done. [40:20] Daniel may actually be looking for two people. The interview process should ultimately represent the way they are going to be serving your clients. [42:25] Before looking outside, you should look within your organization for people that could potentially take on your new role. If you can promote someone up, it's usually easier to find someone to take on the simpler role. Once you exhaust your low hanging fruit, it's time to put your posting out there in as many places as possible. [47:05] It may make sense to split up the role into its component parts, especially if all together it would be very rare to find a single person with all the necessary skills. For Daniel, that may mean splitting the job up into a sales oriented role and a separate advising role. [52:10] Sometimes you have to go back to the well and just do the things that worked before. But before you bring someone on full time, you have to really test out the relationship and make sure they are going to be the right one. It may take some time, but it's easier and less difficult than hiring the wrong person. [56:50] As business owners, you have to figure out every new challenge that comes your way because the buck stops with you. Beware the anecdote, what works for someone else may not help for you. Take the advice and tailor it to your individual needs.     Contact us about the show: hello@ilovebookkeeping.com

How long did you stay at the beginner level when you started dancing?   This person is starting to feel discouraged because they believe that they are learning too slowly. They have been dancing for 1 year.   I want to start out by saying that Skill Level in Social Dancing is relative. Meaning you could be the best dancer at your school/socials/city/state. But as we all know, just take one look on Social Media, and you will see amazing dancers from all around the world. Please remember, Comparison is the Thief of Joy. Please compare yourself first and foremost to yourself in the past, not to others.   But I do believe as we dance longer, I think we naturally mellow out about levels. There is no end to being a beginner. You should always feel like you can continue to learn. I ask all my guest on the podcast, what does it take to go from Intermediate to Advanced Dancer. And guess what they tell me. Focus on the Basics.   The dancers who start thinking they're advanced are the ones who stop growing, The Dancers who believe that being known in their local scene means they're objectively good.   Also do know and remember there is no clear-cut consensus on what is a beginner/intermediate/advanced. What is an Advanced Dancer in one city, could be intermediate in another city.   Dancing isn't about being the best dancer, it's about being the best version of yourself   Lastly here are some quick tips if you want to improve Faster: 1. Whatever Dance style you dance, Listen to that music Genre Often. Like all the time, as much as possible. Becoming accustomed to the music genre will make you a better dancer. This is easier to do if you actually enjoy the music. 2. Practice, practice, practice. As amazing as your teacher maybe it's your hours on the dance floor that will help you improve. Practice at the home, solo, or with a partner. Put in the work!     #Salsa #Bachata #Kizomba #Podcast #BrazilianZouk #Dance #Tarraxinha #Zouk #Passada #RetroZouk #Ginga #Bolero #Forro #Lamba #LambaZouk #Afro #Latin #African #Socialdance #Socialdancing #Partnerdance #Partnerdancing #Pachanga #Lambada #Dance #Dancers     2LF Links   _______________________________________________   Twitter: https://twitter.com/Tw0LeftFeet Instagram: tw0_left_feet Website: https://2leftfeet.blog/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2171874589599779/ Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoLeftFeetPodcast/ iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/two-left-feet-podcast/id1454425997 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5bQSnwKDmHbDQdgnZ0OrC3 Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Twoleftfeet Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR109vJ4Pbl146Ok1u5vSuA Anchor: https://anchor.fm/twoleftfeetpodcast

Today's video has 2 segments on the concept of Leadership, the first talks about how small business can benefit from the secretary of state's office in terms of votes, while the second segment speaks to the Ladies about Leadership and equality, but in a new light. Sometimes it's hard to pick a leader rather than a boss. Even though we know our votes are important, sometimes there are voter suppression efforts, and Georgia is no exception, So if you're a small business owner living in Georgia, then learning about the benefits of the Secretary of State's Office could improve your business. Today's guest (John) covers that space because not only is he a democratic candidate for Georgia Secretary of State, but it has been observed that when John is not addressing local and state issues, he spends his time as the Executive Director of the Global Youth Ambassadors (GYA) program. In fact, over the past 13-years, John has helped over 500 high school students from under-served Communities with international travel and leadership travel experiences through the GYA program. So, when he made his pledge to "Protect Your Right to Vote," it was no joke. A wise lady once said, "Women don't need to man-up, they need to empower-up." When it comes to life and work, it makes up 80% of your Mindset, the remaining 20% goes to Skillset. Once you realise your words could determine your rate of success or struggle, then it's about time to shift some of your bi***es to riches. Bernadette is here to tell us how a lady can up her game and be the woman she's supposed to be. She calls Atlanta, Georgia her home for over twenty years and often is seen around town with her four-legged best friend, Coco. But everyone is curious as to why she exudes a different aura than most ladies. Today, we are about to find out! But if you're interested more in the arts industry in terms of music, dance, theatre, etc, and you want to add a little God-fearing spice to your taste. Then you might want to stick around because, with over forty years of experience in the performing arts, theater technology, vocal instruction, interpretive dance, and choreography fields, Apostle Dr. Teresa Jordan (affectionately known as Pastor T) brings in the heat as a versatile woman of God who has remixed the terms "under dogs" or "up and coming" artists and creatives in the gospel realm. But she's more than just vocals; she's a leader who's all geared up to help untapped or undiscovered gospel and inspirational talents reach the big screens. Well, if that's not "God's Plan," we don't know what is. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/1ratedbusinessshow/message
