Was sind ikonographische Wahrheiten in unserem Arbeitsumfeld? Interview: Jule Jankowski Frank Kohlers Literaturtipp: James Carse: "Finite and Infinite Games: A Vision of Life As Play and Possibility" 2013. Unsere fünf GOOD WORK Prinzipien bleiben weiterhin als Struktur im Hintergrund bestehen.

In this episode I have guests, and very close friends, discuss the implications in seeking out external validation. In the case of the Devil May Cry franchise, that would be Vergil's lust for power, and constantly needing to prove he is stronger than Dante. Which isn't that different from people's needs for more likes/clicks on social media, the need for more money, and gaining social status. I talk about my own story on my need for validation, and needing to prove myself to others, and how I relate to Vergil' struggles to prove himself.
The party determines their next course of action, reconnects with their allies, learns about the lineage of Sparda and sets out to continue their journey.

The story of Polykrates, the Tyrant of Samos, intersects repeatedly with the history of the Persian empire during his life. From his rise to power in the vacuum left when Miletus was conquered, to his alliance with Egypt against the Persians, and finally to his death on the orders of a Satrap. His story feeds directly into the history around Oroites, the Satrap of Sparda (the kingdom formerly known as Lydia). Oroites tried to seize some power for himself in events that prepare our narrative for the chaotic years following Cambyses' death. The League's long adventure in Westeros comes to a thrilling close as Stitch, Mordin Solus, Dante Sparda, and Nico Minoru do battle with a twisted flying monstrosity and finally discover the true source of the undead scourge plaguing the lands beyond the Wall. What happens next will alter the shape of their tale forevermore, and not everyone is going to make it back to Castle Grayskull in one piece. Plus, Nico has fun with acupuncture, Stitch practices his knots, Mordin knows all the angles, and Dante and Geralt give new meaning to the term "fire in the hole." Also featuring the GM's funniest voice impersonation yet, another Colin Mulkerin musical number, and a truly phenomenal evil laugh!
The Smash Fiction hosts are (almost) all together in the same room to ring in the new year with a new episode of Extraordinary League! The League's latest adventure sees them join forces with the regal reptilian shapeshifter Flemeth and her army of Westerosi wildlings to take on the undead forces of the white walkers... and to discover the strange, compelling mystery that lies beyond their host. And yes, in an episode featuring zombie giants, dragon duels, and necrotic energy, our heroes still manage to make pretty much everything about music. Mordin composes a plea to end Dante's continued nakedness, Stitch shreds Dragonforce on dragonback, everyone gets the Skyrim theme song stuck in their head, and the seductive call of ultimate evil doesn't actually sound like Kelly Clarkson. Furthermore, Colin invents a new drinking game, Nico Minoru spends all her karma, and an old friend returns!
The quest for the Stone of Grace has led the League from one side of Westeros to another, and has finally led them into the frozen wasteland north of the Wall. There, numerous dangers await, including zombies, White Walkers, and the philosophical conflict between science and magic. OH, HORRORS! Good thing Stitch's snow shark impression is the actual scariest thing in this forest. The Others are gonna need a bigger boat. Also, Nico takes a page out of a famous Marvel playbook, Dante plans his wedding, Geralt attempts to stab a dead person in a very uncomfortable place (not the back of a Volkswagon) Mordin gets distracted by the random treasure table, and Daenerys Targaryen is more than what she seems.
Having made their way to the near-abandoned castle of Winterfell in search of the Stone of Grace, the League is awakened by a mysterious figure, who reveals himself to be the infamous undead bloodsucker, Dracula. But which one? That's a pretty elaborate beard for a Bram Stoker character. Do they all shoot fireballs? Anyway, turns out Dracula is a creep and the League has to try and bash his ancient vampire brains out. Can Mordin outwit the forces of evil with nothing but a portal gun and a moral compass? Are Nico's increasingly bizarre spells destined to eventually backfire? How sick, exactly, is Stitch's guitar slide? And is Dante really still naked? Like, still? Throughout the entire episode? Really?
Come one, come all! In honor of the name day of King Joffrey I Baratheon, the hastily-named Troupe of the Wandering Storm is pleased to present a musical production of that most ancient and legendary tale, The Tragedy of Cecily and Andre! Script by Mordin Solus! Costuming by Nico Minoru! Flubbed dialogue by Dante Sparda! And featuring a once-in-a-lifetime performance by Stitch, aka the Amazing Lute Dog! Passion! Betrayal! Emotion! Definitely not a smokescreen for a covert attempt to break into the Tower of the Hand for information about the Stone of Grace! One night only! Don't miss it! Disclaimer: The Troupe of the Wandering Storm is not responsible for any damage, physical or psychological, that may be inflicted by daring escapes, random portals, face-melting guitar solos, or the unexpected appearance of pegasi.
As the League prepares to embark on its next mission, Stitch builds a nest and finds a guitar, Dante hits on a woman who is also a man, Mordin receives a very exciting gift, and Archer remembers the face of his father (which is weird, but whatever, it's a symbolic thing). Then, the team heads out once again, this time accompanied by the goth teen runaway sorceress Nico Minoru, and arrives in a strange medieval world in which the king is crazy, the keep is red, and your favorite characters are probably going to die! And you'll never guess the crazy-ass plan our heroes concoct to try and gain entrance to the royal court of King's Landing...
The League's adventures in Jurassic Park continue as Mordin Solus, Dante Sparda, Sterling Archer, and Stitch -- along with their new companions, Lara Croft, Roland Deschain, Zero, and a friendly velociraptor -- try to escape this world of reptilian tyrants while thwarting the mysterious goals of their Phyrexian oppressors! Can they overcome Slash Panther scouts, an angry Apatosaurus, and a GODDAMN T-REX on their path to victory? Can Dante and Archer survive their own tendencies toward motorcycles and stunt manuevers? Will Mordin hit on Lara out of sheer spite? And are there any limits to Stitch's strength...or his bizarre creativity?
They hunt their targets, they swing awesome swords, they quip with the best, and they look damn good (in red) doing it! But on Smash Fiction, the devil who might cry sometime when no one is looking but probably not, Dante Sparda, and the fourth-wall-breaking merc with the mouth, Deadpool, face their greatest challenge yet: somehow getting past another bounty hunter who can't really be killed by anything, ever. After another one of Colin's trademark long-winded scenario set-ups, Liz leads the charge in defense of her beloved Extraordinary League Character; Dan gets the first ever podcast yellow card; Miles delivers what might be an argument and what might be a legitimate on-air seizure; and guest host MeganBob returns to explain to everybody why these two bad-asses are totally going to have sex. Nothing in the multiverse can prepare you for the upcoming insanity. This episode is brought to you by McDonald's. McDonald's: Because it's about time somebody assassinated the Hamburglar.
It's time for the second episode of Extraordinary League, Smash Fiction's monthly actual-play RPG special! Our heroes -- Dante Sparda, Sterling Archer, Mordin Solus, and Stitch -- have escaped the initial capture that brought them together, and now must battle their way through hordes of Phyrexian abominations to escape the apocalyptic hellscape that is...London! Special appearances by Buffy Summers, the Terminator, Razputin Aquato, Zelda, and a certain doctor (no, probably not that one, but you never know)! Can the burgeoning bromance between Dante and Stitch survive a ferocious Ferris wheel fight? Where is Mordin's circulatory system located, anyway? Will Archer finally find a bar? And just as a general question, since we all just kind of woke up into this MTG-infested nightmare with no memories of how we got here...what the hell is going on?
It's time for the first official episode of Extraordinary League, the actual-play RPG podcast featuring the co-hosts of Smash Fiction! Mordin Solus, Dante Sparda, Sterling Archer, and Stitch find themselves thrown into unexpected partnership after being captured by a mysterious group of magical cyborg aliens (or something). Will our heroes be able to escape their kidnappers and figure out where they are -- and why? Will Archer be able to stop bickering with the other characters long enough to do something useful? Will everyone remember the rules of the Marvel Superhero RPG from the 1980s? The answers to these questions, and many more you never thought you'd ask, can be found within! It's League time!
