For more info and support, visit us at https://thecirsgroup.com In this episode of The CIRS Group podcast, Jacie and Barbara get into dust testing for mold, discussing personal experiences and sharing expert insights. They highlight different testing methods, including why MSQ-PCR testing is better than other methods, and when to use the ERMI vs the HERSMI-2 test. They'll explain why dust testing is generally more reliable than air sampling. They'll also go over how to do dust collection properly and how to interpret mold test results. Most importantly: Jacie and Barbara recommend working with an Indoor Environmental Professional (IEP) to get a comprehensive understanding of your environment and how to properly remediate. None of this is medical advice: always consult your doctor and IEP before making any changes to your treatment plan. Do we have the ability to laugh at ourselves? Bill Weber shares that this is a terrific way to work with one of the foundations of Buddhist wisdom: the concept of Non-self. The allure of our sense of self can easily lead us to become overly attached to our identity. We become competitive, demanding, and obsessive about the way we are treated. To counter this, Bill encourages us to instead find humor in the demands that our ego makes of us (and others). If we observe our mind playing these games, it allows us to lighten up and disconnect from our sense of self. We gain the ability to laugh at embarrassing situations rather than see them as personal failures. It helps us connect with who we really are behind our social facade - the observer, rather than the performer of acts. This ability to find the absurdity in the human condition is actually a deep practice, one perfected by the late Wes Nisker, a teacher, author and Buddhist comedian. Bill speaks about the tradition of Crazy Wisdom and its role in breaking through the illusion of reality. He encourages us to find the clown, the trickster, the jester and the fool within and learn how not to take ourselves so seriously. He also mentions the organization, "Clowns Without Borders" and reflects on the work of Bernie Glassman, founder of the New York Zen Center. Although Glassman founded a retreat where participants lived among the homeless, and one that took place in Nazi concentration camps, he later pursued humor and went on to found the "Order of Disorder" and the "Zen Peacemakers." Bill closes with Wes Nisker's poem "Why I Meditate"https://inquiringmind.com/article/2301_50_nisker_why-i-meditate/______________ Bill Weber is a senior Vipassana practitioner and a graduate of Spirit Rock's Community Dharma Leaders program. When Bill Weber and Amy Vedder arrived in Rwanda to study mountain gorillas with Dian Fossey, the gorilla population was teetering toward extinction. Poaching was rampant, but it was loss of habitat that most endangered the gorillas. Weber and Vedder realized that the gorillas were doomed unless something was done to save their forest home. They helped found the Mountain Gorilla Project, which would inform Rwandans about the gorillas and the importance of conservation, while at the same time establishing an ecotourism project -- one of the first anywhere in a rainforest -- to bring desperately needed revenue to Rwanda. Today the population of mountain gorillas is the highest it has been since the 1960s, and there is new hope for the species' fragile future even as the people of Rwanda strive to overcome ethnic and political differences.Bill Weber has worked for 25 years in the field of international conservation. He lived in Africa for nine years, where he and his wife, Amy Vedder, helped to establish the famous Mountain Gorilla Project in Rwanda and several other park and forest protection initiatives across the Congo Basin. From the Archives: This live interview was recorded on December 13, 2001 on the nationally syndicated radio program, hosted by Laura Lee . Children with PANDAS/PANS and autism tend to be highly sensitive to mold and we have found that living in a home or going to a school with water damage can be a major block on their road to healing. If your child is not responding to treatment or shows signs of histamine sensitivity or MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome), it is highly advisable to check your home for mold sooner rather than later. In this episode, Homeopathy Hive consultant Bridget Biscotti Bradley speaks with Osmin Zelaya, a mold remediator and Branch Manager at Anderson Group International, to explain how water damage happens even in newly built homes, how to test for mold, and the best way to remediate a home for sick and sensitive people. If you need to order a surface test for your home, you can order an ERMI or HERTSMI at envirobiomics.com or mycometrics.com. The two other consultants mentioned in this episode are Bill Weber and John Banta. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/intuitivehomeopathy/support

The Cockettes special with Fayette Hauser in conversation with David Eastaugh The Cockettes were an avant garde psychedelic hippie theater group founded by Hibiscus (George Edgerly Harris III) in the fall of 1969. The troupe was formed out of a group of hippie artists, men and women, who were living in Kaliflower, one of the many communes in Haight-Ashbury, a neighborhood of San Francisco, California. Hibiscus came to live with them because of their preference for dressing outrageously and proposed the idea of putting their lifestyle on the stage. Their brand of theater was influenced by The Living Theater, John Vaccaro's Play House of the Ridiculous, the films of Jack Smith and the LSD ethos of Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters. The troupe performed all original material, staging musicals with original songs. The first year they parodied American musicals and sang show tunes (or original musical comedies in the same vein). They gained an underground cult following that led to mainstream exposure. The Cockettes were the subject of a 2002 documentary titled The Cockettes and directed by David Weissman and Bill Weber.
This episode is an excerpt from an interview with Bill that was originally intended to be about pre-fabrication but in light of construction being shutdown in Boston in Cambridge where Gaston Electrical does 90+% of their work it made sense to talk about how they are managing through the shutdown. In this case I took the opportunity to separate the conversation so I could release it in a timely manner but please note that this conversation is much more than a talk about dealing with a shutdown… it is really about how to use any adversity to make yourself or your company better. Sarnia is the largest city in Lambton County, which extends from the shores of Lake Huron in the north to the Lake St. Clair in the south. Nearly 60% of the county's population is concentrated there, with the remaining 40% distributed across 2,800 square kilometers (695 sq mi) of the rest of the county. The sparsely populated county was, however, the site of North America's first commercially drilled oil well. Petrochemical and refining industries are still its largest manufacturing and employment sector, and Sarnia-Lambton considers itself the center of the Great Lakes Industrial Corridor. The other mainstays of the economy are agriculture and tourism. In this interview, ICF Co-Founder Lou Zacharilla speaks with Chris Gould of Bluewater Regional Network, Ron Van Horne, Chief Administrative Officer, Lambton County and Bill Weber, Warden, Lambton County Council.

The 2002 Daytona 500, the 44th running of the event, was held on February 17 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida as the first of 36 races of the 2002 Winston Cup Season. Rookie Jimmie Johnson, driving the No. 48 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports, won the pole with fellow Daytona 500 rookie Kevin Harvick qualifying second, making this the first time the field would be led by two first-time Daytona 500 participants. Ward Burton, driving the No.22 Dodge for Bill Davis Racing, won the race. This race was the last for long-time veteran driver Dave Marcis. As part of the television contract signed at the end of the 2000 NASCAR season, the 2002 Daytona 500 was televised by NBC. Allen Bestwick provided the play-by-play in the booth with color commentators Benny Parsons and Wally Dallenbach, Jr. The prerace show was hosted by Bill Weber, who reported from the pits with Matt Yocum, Marty Snider, and Dave Burns. This was the first time NBC televised the Daytona 500.

Up Close And On Fire With S And K Ep 18 Jackson Vee and Danny Vash By Spitfire and CJ M. Jackson Vee is a bit of an institution around the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. Rarely a week goes by in the area where he isn’t at some velue with his acoustic guitar, putting on a one-man show where he’ll mix a seemingly random set list of covers and originals in near-marathon sets. The producer of our podcast, upon learning of Jackson’s being the featured artist of the week, recalled seeing him open for a newer national artist at a local terrestrial rock radio station’s secret acoustic gig, where he did a shortened half-hour version of the kind of sets he was already doing. When the next act needed a few extra minutes to get themselves together, Jackson filled in the time by doing a quick game of “stump the singer” with the audience, proceeded to come off with every suggestion thrown his way, from a quick (and note-perfect) snippet of Cher’s “Believe” to a then-ubiquitous TV advertising jingle (complete with the quickly mumbled disclaimer at the end of said commercial!). Jackson’s album “Sigrad’s Theory” is not an all-acoustic affair, however – Jackson instead does a primarily electric-guitar-heavy modern rock approach for his all-original long playing affair, showing off the songwriting talents that he had been developing since his school days as well as the multi-instrumental chops he refined while he studied music in college. Featured songs: “Hide And Seek”, “Bury Yesterday”, “EnVy”. “Believe”. Danny Vash and Nite Wolf are a three-piece power trio from the Albuquerque New Mexico in the south-west United States. Their hard-hitting sound is a combination of Danny Vash on lead guitar and vocals, Bill Weber on drums and Mike Alberts on bass. Together they grind out crunchy riffs, complex melodies and songs with a classic hard rock sound. Danny Vash writes all music and lyrics. Their First album “TAKIN’ CONTROL” was recorded and produced by Danny Vash and Mike Alberts at their studio in the Sandia mountains of New Mexico. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, we are delving into the topic of LOVE and how it plays into our Divine Connection to the Other Side. People deeply in love often claim that they have found their Soulmate, but is it really true? Fewer have heard about Twin Flames, which actually are the other half of your OWN soul. Our guests Cynthia Becker and Bill Weber are Twin Flames who have chosen to incarnate together on Earth. We'll hear about their amazing journey together and how we all can deepen the love within our own relationships. Over Fossey's objections, they helped found the Mountain Gorilla Project, which would inform Rwandans about the gorillas and the importance of conservation, while at the same time establishing an ecotourism project -- one of the first anywhere in a rainforest -- to bring desperately needed revenue to Rwanda. Vedder’s book, In the Kingdom of Gorillas, introduces readers to entire families of gorillas, from powerful silverback patriarchs to helpless newborn infants. Vedder take us with them as they slog through the rain-soaked mountain forests, observing the gorillas at rest and at play. An expert in conservation and ecology, Dr. Vedder is Senior Vice President for Conservation at The Wilderness Society (TWS) in Washington, DC. She has worked for more than 30 years in dedication to wildlife and wildland conservation, applying ecological and social science to save biologically rich and threatened places. Amy Vedder is widely known for her pioneering studies of mountain gorillas in Rwanda during the late 1970s and as co-founder, with her husband Dr. Bill Weber, of the Mountain Gorilla Project. She is the author of several books, including In the Kingdom of Gorillas, which she wrote with Bill Weber, and is the subject of a biography written for middle school students titled, Gorilla Mountain.
