I joined Peter McCormack to dig into one of the deepest unanswered questions in physics: what is time, and why does it only seem to move in one direction? My answer might surprise you. Time may not be a fundamental feature of reality at all, and understanding space, matter, and energy still doesn't mean we understand the universe itself. We cover: - What may have existed before the Big Bang - Why something can't truly come from nothing - How my work with the Simons Observatory could detect gravitational waves from the universe's earliest moments - What dark matter actually means - Why even a film as detail-obsessed as Interstellar still gets the physics wrong. The conversation then turns from cosmic time to human time: mortality, family, meaning, and attention. We get into UFO disclosure, the collapse of institutional trust, and whether AI can ever reproduce the embodied human insight that let Einstein transform physics. My take: AI remains a tool built to serve humanity, and it's time we stop apologizing for humanity's greatness. ———
The cosmos contains everything we know, from planets and stars to galaxies stretching across unimaginable distances. This episode explores the structure of the universe, how our understanding of it has changed over time, and the enormous scales that shape our view of space. Along the way, you'll hear about galaxies, cosmic distances, the observable universe, and humanity's attempts to understand our place within it. It's steady and consistent, with no whispering and no sudden changes, just enough to give your mind something to follow as you wind down. Happy sleeping! In Day 194 of Orchot Tzaddikim, The Ways of the Righteous, Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe continues the Gate of Fear of Heaven with a fascinating comparison between the human being and the universe itself. If mankind reflects Hashem in a tiny and limited way, then the structure of the human body can likewise be understood as a miniature reflection of the greater world. The Orchot Tzaddikim draws parallels between the heavens and the human body: the skull resembles the heavenly firmament; the palate creates divisions within the body just as the firmament separates the waters; and the life-giving soul resides within and directs the body. Just as the universe is governed by the One Creator, the many organs and systems of the human body are unified and directed by one life-force.The author continues this imagery by comparing the seven openings of the head—two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, and the mouth—to the heavenly luminaries and planets. The larger message is that the human being is a remarkable microcosm of Hashem's creation. The more carefully we contemplate ourselves and the world around us, the more opportunities we have to recognize the wisdom embedded throughout creation.Rabbi Wolbe then turns from anatomy to character. Just as the animal kingdom contains gentle creatures as well as predators, human beings can develop very different qualities. Some live peacefully and compassionately, while others behave like predatory animals—using their strength to hurt or take advantage of others. The crucial difference is that we can choose. Hashem created the abilities and forces within creation, but human beings decide how those powers will be expressed. We can use what Hashem has given us constructively or destructively. Fear of Heaven therefore means not merely marveling at creation, but recognizing our responsibility within it and consciously choosing what kind of person we wish to become._____________This Podcast Series is Generously Underwritten by Peter & Becky BotvinRecorded at TORCH Centre in the Levin Family Studios (B) to a live audience on March 23, 2026, in Houston, Texas.Released as Podcast on August 28, 2026_____________This series on Orchos Tzadikim/Ways of the Righteous is produced in partnership with Hachzek.Join the revolution of daily Mussar study at hachzek.com.We are using the Treasure of Life edition of the Orchos Tzadikkim (Published by Feldheim)_____________Listen, Subscribe & Share: Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/jewish-inspiration-podcast-rabbi-aryeh-wolbe/id1476610783Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4r0KfjMzmCNQbiNaZBCSU7) to stay inspired! This week on Bad Dads Film Review, Wolf Week continues as Sidey, Dan and new dad Jamie sink their teeth into Martin Scorsese's riotous financial crime epic The Wolf of Wall Street, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Matthew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jon Bernthal, Jon Favreau and Joanna Lumley. With Reegs absent and therefore no proper intro to keep things vaguely professional, the dads begin by catching up on what they've been watching. Dan has largely swapped screen time for Cold War spy histories while his wife is away in the Czech Republic for the summer, Jamie has returned to the comforting embrace of Blue Bloods, No Offence and Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, and Sidey has endured Jason Statham's Mutiny, a revenge-on-a-boat action thriller with suspiciously Die Hard-adjacent poster energy. The Top 5 this week is Wolves, which naturally sends the conversation roaming all over the cultural wilderness. There's Winston Wolf from Pulp Fiction, Moro from Princess Mononoke, Teen Wolf and the obvious sporting advantage of being Michael J. Fox with werewolf powers, plus Shrek's Big Bad Wolf and a detour through wolf-related music from Warren Zevon, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Duran Duran, Howlin' Wolf, Steppenwolf, Los Lobos, Wolfmother and Wolf Alice. Liam Neeson's miserable survival odds in The Grey get a mention, as do Bad Wolf and Rose Tyler from Doctor Who, Jack Nicholson in Wolf, Remus Lupin, Dances with Wolves, Portia Crystal from Sing 2, Lupine Howl, the direwolves from Game of Thrones, How Wolves Change Rivers, Rainier Wolfcastle and Oz from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Then it's on to The Wolf of Wall Street, a film the dads note is arriving neatly alongside Jersey's current Martin Scorsese cinema season. They follow Jordan Belfort from his first day as Wall Street pond scum through Matthew McConaughey's career-rescuing lunch scene of coke, booze,chest-thumping and “rookie numbers”, before Black Monday promptly ends any chance of a respectable finance career. From there it's penny stocks, Spike Jonze, 50% commissions and the arrival of Donnie Azoff, whose cousin-wife logic, blinding white teeth and crack-pipe networking help turn Stratton Oakmont into a full-blown fraud machine. Along the way, the dads dig into the film's most notorious moments: the “sell me this pen” lesson, motivational speeches, middle fingers to clients, dwarf tossing, strippers, head shaving, Rob Reiner as Belfort's furious father, Margot Robbie's Naomi making her entrance, Donnie's appalling first impression, the famous 11-second romance, Vegas excess, penicillin shots and a superyacht wedding present. They also cover Kyle Chandler's FBI agent Patrick Denham closing in, Jon Favreau's lawyer trying desperately to make Jordan stop, the Steve Madden IPO, hidden stock ownership, Joanna Lumley's Aunt Emma and the Swiss bank account, plus Jordan's spectacularly arrogant attempt to bribe the FBI with lobster, prostitutes and absolutely no self-awareness. The review also takes in the yacht storm and Italian rescue, the infamous Lemmon Quaaludes sequence with crawling, ham-choking and the destroyed Lamborghini reveal, Jordan wearing a wire while warning Donnie not to incriminate himself, and the ugly final collapse as Naomi demands a divorce, Jordan turns violent and everything finally crashes. By the end, the dads are left wrestling with prison, sales seminars and the uncomfortable question of whether the film really works as a cautionary tale, or whether it is simply too entertaining for its own good. Verdicts are strong across the board. Sidey recommends it, while still insisting it is far too long. Dan also gives it a strong recommend, particularly for the endlessly quotable scenes, and Jamie calls it a must-watch — although preferably consumed as three one-hour chunks rather than one enormous sitting. You can now text us anonymously to leave feedback, suggest future content or simply hurl abuse at us. After the last-gasp win over Bournemouth, David Mooney is joined by City fan Richard Burns and, from Sky Sports, Ben Ransom to discuss everything that happened in Enzo Maresca's first Premier League game in charge. Marc Guehi was a surprise inclusion in the midfield, while the VAR overturn in stoppage time was a welcome surprise given City's history was the video referee in the closing stages of matches. The turnaround on Sunday was the latest City have been losing a Premier League match that they've gone on to win since the famous QPR game in 2012, so Bethan Holmes takes a look at all the other times since then that the team has been behind in the final 10 minutes only to go on and win. With Crystal Palace coming up on Friday night, we hear from Eagles fan Robbie Scotcher all about their start to the season and how their preparations have gone throughout the summer. Plus, will City have any more new faces through the door by the time the game arrives (or at least before the transfer deadline passes next week)? On top of all of that, we're talking about a Haaland haircut, life inside a black hole, and City's best one-season wonders. ========== To get more podcasts or to listen without the ads, join our Patreon. We're digging out some of our favorite conversations from the archive. This one is from January 2025, with Julian Gough. Enjoy. Julian Gough sums up his career as follows: "I just sit in my room and write." Well, I think being an acclaimed children's author, novelist, stage playwright, poet and top-ten Irish musician is a little more impressive than he's letting on… Oh, and I didn't even mention that he wrote the ending to the computer game Minecraft! His current project, The Egg and The Rock, puts all of this to shame. This book, which Julian is writing in public on Substack, seeks to do no less than redescribe the universe, arguing that is not some random, dead, purposeless sack of chemicals, but instead a living, evolving organism. Julian joins me to discuss why the arc of human evolution bends towards man-made black holes, the hidden catastrophe at the heart of materialist science, the strange life of subterranean ice aliens, and MUCH more! This was such an interesting conversation - I can't wait for you to hear it. BY THE POWER OF MOLD SKULL!!! JAMES GONIS, SHAWN SHERIDAN, LARRY STROTHE, and MATT WEINHOLD return yet again to the topic that keeps giving birth to more topics. Get ready to cuddle up to this litter of learned levity as MONSTER PARTY presents… TOPIC FREE-FOR-ALL: SKULLABALOO! You know the story, Monster Partiers! For years, MONSTER PARTY has been doing episodes where we place slips of paper with mini-topics written on them into a plastic Halloween candy skull, pull one out at random, discuss said topic, and repeat. All was going well until the skull suffered some water damage, causing many of the topic slips to become moldy. But hey, we took it in stride, and after the skull went through a thorough mitigation process, we gradually added fresh topics to the pile. And over time, it almost became a badge of honor to get a moldy oldie. But alas, all mold things must come to an end. If strictly for health reasons. This installment of TOPIC FREE-FOR-ALL features the last moldy topic placed in the skull so many years ago. It's the end of a chapter, but also the beginning of an exciting new era! This episode features lively and, dare we say, even heated discussions about the future of A.I., sci-fi franchise burnout, extraterrestrial odds, questionable Christopher Lee performances, the narrative logic of Weapons, Masters of the Universe hate watching, dream tattoos, candy symbolism, and so very much more! Joining us once again is a stalwart MONSTER PARTY pal, and Matt Weinhold's answer to Florence Nightingale. He's an immensely talented actor, writer, and artist, not to mention the boy who brought us all the Shamrock Shake! Please welcome back the effortlessly irresistible… KEN DALY! Start Your Transformation Now In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim explores what it means to live in what he calls "a universe of no mercy," a concept he first heard years ago from a mentor. He explains that the universe doesn't test people, it reflects them, mirroring back whatever is held in consciousness. Using a real conversation with a longtime friend whose health is declining, Jim illustrates how identifying with a circumstance, whether it's poor health, financial lack, or a struggling relationship, is what causes people to keep experiencing it. Jim breaks down why the instinct to "fix" anything, be it the body, the bank account, or a relationship, actually reinforces the belief that something is broken, creating a paradox where trying harder only digs the hole deeper. He introduces the alternative: retreating into soul consciousness and letting go of the fight altogether, using the simple example of how a cut finger heals without effort once it's left alone. Listeners are invited to notice where they've been fighting their circumstances and to consider what might shift by no longer trying to fix them. What You'll Discover in This Episode: (00:00) A universe of no mercy — Jim introduces the idea that the universe isn't a brutal space that tests us. Instead, it reflects the frequency of our consciousness back to us. (03:30) The identity trap — Jim shares a real conversation with a longtime friend whose text, "my body is breaking down," reveals how circumstances often become your identity. Jim explains how attempting to fix perceived circumstances keeps you in a loop. (12:00) The paradox of fixing — Jim explains why trying to fix any area of life secretly projects brokenness into the universe, using the metaphor of bailing water instead of patching the hole in the boat. (14:00) The manifestation trap — Jim unpacks why even conscious manifestation efforts can backfire when the personal development industry is broken. (19:00) Getting outside the box — Jim describes the problem with manifestation and why true change requires stepping outside the brainwashing of the human ego identity rather than fighting from within it. (22:00) The way out — Jim closes with the idea that to need nothing is to have everything, and shares how healing happens when we stop trying to heal. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway The body, the bank account, and the relationship are not problems to be solved; they are containers reflecting the consciousness held within them. The moment something is declared broken, that very declaration becomes a signal sent into the universe, and the universe answers in kind. True change doesn't come from fighting harder or fixing faster. It comes from stepping back, releasing the identity of lack, and allowing the deeper wholeness that's already present to do what it naturally does. Sometimes the most powerful move isn't to fix anything at all, but to let go and let it heal itself. Let's Connect: Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE? Rizwan Virk is an MIT-trained computer scientist, video game pioneer, and bestselling author of The Simulation Hypothesis. His work sits at a rare intersection: quantum physics, Eastern mysticism, and the architecture of video games, all pointing toward the same unsettling and strangely liberating conclusion. In this conversation, we explore not the nihilistic version of simulation theory, but the one that actually gives life more meaning rather than less. What We Dive Into:1. The simulation Rizwan describes is not one where you are code running on a server. You are the soul outside the game, choosing an avatar and entering by choice. The body is the character. The player is something more.2. Synchronicities, hunches, recurring patterns, these are not coincidences. Rizwan frames them as messages from a deeper intelligence, perhaps a future self, a guide, or the part of you watching the game from outside. The practice is learning to read them rather than dismiss them.3. In a well-designed game, difficulty scales to keep you engaged and growing. Rizwan applies the same logic to life: the quests that keep returning are the ones not yet completed, and completing them is what the game is actually for.Know Thyself, but not by yourself. Spiritual growth is not measured by how many books we have read, retreats we have attended, or mystical experiences we have had. It is revealed in how we live—how we respond when life challenges us, how we treat those who see the world differently, and how willing we are to honor boundaries, remain humble, and learn from our experiences. In Episode 415 of Messages from the Universe, Laurie explores the signs of spiritual maturity and the quiet transformation that occurs when knowledge becomes lived wisdom. Discover how becoming less reactive, releasing the need for validation, practicing self-respect, and growing comfortable with life's mysteries can help us embody what we have learned.Spirituality is not simply something we practice—it becomes visible in who we are and how we move through the world. Mai Ueda has spent twenty-five years refusing to be any one thing. Born in Japan, she landed in New York in 2000, fell in with Miltos Manetas, and helped invent NEEN: one of the first art movements to treat the internet as a place for poetry and accidental beauty. A decade later she followed a different thread home and focused her art practice on Japanese tea ceremony and find that it had been conceptual art all along. Today she's in the mountains of Hyogo with a broken kiln and a horse she hasn't met yet, calling her next chapter simply “nature.”On the profession of being yourself, on refusing every role — artist, sister, wife, tea master; on being named for dancing, on tea as the Origin of the Universe, on doing everything and becoming nothing in particular, on receiving a message in front of the Louvre, on NEEN and accidental beauty, on ego and money, on kimono as an education, on Rikyu as the Duchamp of Zen, on the tea room as a black cube four hundred and fifty years early, on the teacher who beat her hand, on permission as a pyramid scheme, on four hundred people arriving in Rome for a tea master who is not a tea master, on the matcha boom as a good shallow entrance, on strawberry jam and a Starbucks cup as the true beginning of the Way, on students taking off their shoes and feeling the pain leave their bodies, on horses and pottery and Vipassana an hour down the road, on the difference between luxury and abundance, on Haruka-chan, the AI friend you never use forcefully, on quiet resistance to every system, on practice, on freedom that is never quite enough, and on the whole point, which might just be: enjoy your life.ExcerptsMy profession is to be myself.Rikyu is like the Duchamp of the Zen tea world.Picking up matcha from a Starbucks kind of thing is already the beginning of a tea ceremony. What's the message? The Coherency Creator: Feminine Leadership Archetype #7 of 8 "Through my presence, I bring things into order. I see what is out of alignment. I can pinpoint what causes disharmony." There is so much chaos, noise, and incoherency being thrown at us right now — and within us.The Coherency Creator gives us access to our power to work with the field - our own inner field and the fields (ecosystems, situations, relationships, interactions) we show up in - to bring situations, relationships, and realities into a resonant state of order and harmony. Not by fixing, saving or forcing. But through our presence. And our ability to speak and embody what is called the power of "loving truth." Consider this: We each can choose to be leaders in our lives, relationships, teams, family systems and community. We each have the power to shift a room, create harmony and order out of chaos and conflict, and open space for new possibility. Just by showing up centered, grounded, and clear. Which sounds much easier than it is in real time practice! In this episode, we welcome in The Coherency Creator to explore what it means to consciously wield this power in your life right now. Here's a snippet of the power within us when we tap into this … "I lead us to create structure that innately creates harmony between all the parts." (get the full written transmission here) Why this matters now: The chaos we are experiencing all around us is not accidental. When there is continual chaos, it keeps people stuck in the shadow frequencies of fear, blame, shame, and isolation. And we cannot create what's next from inside of that. The more of us who can consciously show up as coherency creators - in our own inner field first, and then in the fields around us - the more we shift what's possible. We don't have to fix it all. We don't have to be at the top of a hierarchy to embody this power. Often our most powerful act is simply to be a grounded, compassionate, honest, and clear presence in the room. Some of What We'll explore: Coherency as a Superpower - what it actually is, why it's so undervalued, and why the words alignment, resonance, harmony, beauty, clarity, presence, ease, and grace matter more than ever right now Your Body, Voice & Being as a Sword of Loving Truth - a somatic practice for understanding how your presence, energy, frequency, and essence work together to shift a room and create harmony and order out of chaos and conflict Incoherency Indicators - how to recognize when you're out of coherency in yourself or in the field, so you can work with your emotions and judgments and shift your energy on the inside before responding on the outside The Drama Triangle Flip - moving from victim, perpetrator, and fixer into creator, challenger, and coach — a simple but mighty tool for creating coherency Three Practices - simple, medium, large: Get Curious Instead of Critical; Proactive Power Pauses; and a five-part Elevation Practice for moving from incoherency to harmony step by step P.S. ✨ Get access to other episodes in this series here on the Feminine Power Time Wisdom Library. In honor of National Be an Angel Day on August 22, Nichole shares a special guided angelic invocation and energy integration designed to help you connect with God, Universe, Source and five archangels — Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, and Metatron. National Be an Angel Day is a reminder to bring more kindness, compassion, generosity, and service into the world — to be an angel in someone else's life. It is also an opportunity to honor the angels themselves and become more aware of the loving support that surrounds us at all times. The angels and archangels have been an important part of Nichole's spiritual journey for many years. She wrote extensively about them in her award-winning book, Looking for Angels, and continues to explore their individual energies, roles, and ways of supporting us through The Angelic Academy. This guided experience was originally created as part of Nichole's Reiki training and has been adapted so anyone can participate. No previous experience with Reiki, meditation, energy work, or connecting with angels is needed. During this experience, you will be guided to connect with: Archangel Michael — protection, strength, clearing, and sacred boundaries. Archangel Gabriel — clarity, communication, truth, and receiving guidance. Archangel Raphael — healing, restoration, compassion, and balance. Archangel Uriel — grounding, wisdom, illumination, and integration. Archangel Metatron — energetic alignment, sacred activation, and higher consciousness. The experience also invites you to deepen your awareness of Oneness — your connection with God, Universe, Source, the angels, higher self, and All That Is. Please listen somewhere you can safely relax. Do not participate while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that requires your full attention. And in honor of National Be an Angel Day, consider carrying the experience forward through an act of kindness, compassion, generosity, or service for someone else. To learn more about Nichole's experiences with angels, explore her book, Looking for Angels. You can also go deeper into working with the archangels through The Angelic Academy. When someone breaks a promise or betrays your trust, forgiveness can feel far more difficult than simply saying, “I forgive you.” Laura Bailey shares how a broken confidence left her wrestling with hurt and resentment—and how a rainbow after a summer storm reminded her of God’s faithfulness, forgiveness, and promises. God remained faithful even when His people were not. Through the rainbow given to Noah and the ultimate promise fulfilled through Jesus Christ, Scripture reminds us that God is faithful to forgive and restore. Remembering how much God has forgiven us can change the way we respond when others hurt or disappoint us, helping us release resentment and pursue peace while still recognizing that forgiveness does not always require reconciliation. Highlights Why broken promises and betrayed trust can make forgiveness difficult How a rainbow became a reminder of God's faithfulness What Noah's covenant teaches us about God's promises How remembering God's forgiveness can help us forgive others Why forgiveness doesn't always mean reconciliation How healthy boundaries can coexist with forgiveness What Romans 12:18 teaches us about pursuing peace with others Want more encouragement throughout your week? Full Transcript Below: The Promise That Teaches Us to ForgiveBy: Laura Bailey Bible Reading:I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. - Genesis 9:13 ( NIV) I’ll never forget one of the first times I experienced the heartache of someone breaking their promise. As I think back to the day my friend gave away the seat at the lunch table that had been promised to me, it seems so trivial. While I’ve moved on from past adolescent hurt, the reality is that the painful feelings of broken promises and unmet expectations are present in adulthood. Unfortunately, the stakes are much higher than eating lunch alone. A breach of confidence can lead to family tensions, severed relationships, and future mistrust of people. As an adult, I long for the simplicity of recess drama, where misplaced trust held little consequence. Recently, a close friend I confided in let slip some details of our conversation to a group of ladies. I’d specifically asked that she keep our conversation between us, and she assured me that she could be trusted. So, when, later that week, a mutual friend sent a text that read, “I am so sorry to hear you are having a hard time; I’ll be praying for you,” my initial response was not one of gratitude but grievance. I was deeply hurt by my friend's inability to keep her lips zipped. However, I decided not to say anything to her, but by my frosty “hello” at church the following Sunday, she knew something wasn’t right between us. She invited me to coffee and apologized profusely for her carelessness; she genuinely didn’t mean to overshare. I could tell that she was sincerely sorry, but even as I looked into her tear-pricked eyes, my heart remained hardened towards her. We left our time together with a hug, and I said that “all had been forgiven,” but truthfully, I was still fuming inside. While we were at the coffee shop, a summer storm came through, leaving a curtain of fresh steam, inescapable puddles, and a beautiful rainbow. On my drive home, I couldn’t help but feel like the rainbow was following me. “I know, God, I know,” I muttered into the air. One of the first stories we learn as children is about Noah and the Ark and God sending a rainbow– a reminder that God keeps His promises. I began to think about the first rainbow. I wonder if, as he looked to the sky, Noah questioned whether God would keep his promise never to flood the earth again. Scripture often speaks of God’s covenants with His people, His first being that He would send a Savior to save us from our sins (Genesis 3:15). We see the fulfillment of that promise through Jesus, and every rainbow we see is an affirmation that God is faithful in keeping all His promises. I began to recall the countless times I hadn’t kept God’s commandments, my word, or broken a promise. Yet God is quick to forgive me and even promises to remember my sins against Him no more (Hebrews 8:12). If God, the creator of the Universe, can forgive my many acts of disobedience, both unintentional and intentional, who am I to withhold forgiveness from my friend? I was stewing over a few misspoken words when my own sinful nature was the reason why God sent His son Jesus to cleanse me of my sin—the ultimate act of love and full redemption. I could forgive my friend because I’d been forgiven, and when I’d been unfaithful, God continued to be faithful. It can be difficult to move past hurt, especially at the hands of someone we trust. There will be times when forgiveness is appropriate, but reconciliation may not be due to the need for boundaries or distance. But let me encourage you: let us live out the words of Paul in Romans 12:18: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Intersecting Faith & Life:How does remembering God’s faithfulness to His promises—even when we are unfaithful—help you when you struggle to forgive others?Further Reading:A Prayer When You Don’t Feel Like ForgivingHebrews 8:12 Discover more Christian podcasts at lifeaudio.com and inquire about advertising opportunities at lifeaudio.com/contact-us.

Have you ever wondered if your relationships are affecting your ability to manifest? One of the most common questions I am asked: "How can I manifest when my family/friend/spouse is so negative?" Every relationship you have is impacting your energy and your manifestations. The question is 'are they affecting you positively or negatively' and what can you do about it? In this episode, I explain how to see relationships as a mirror of YOUR energy and how that empowers you to create the life you truly desire. I also answer a viewer's question about how to navigate being a mom with challenging kids and how to take care of your energy. Relationships are so personal that it really does take a one-on-one conversation to uncover the specific things that YOU need to address, and if you want to do that you can still schedule a Mother Mary Intuitive Healing Session for the 2001 price of just $149. Remember, YOU are the writer and director of the movie of your life, and you can change the script at any moment. Key Learnings: 1) Relationships are a mirror for us. They show us how we treat ourselves, and what we believe we deserve. They also show us what we believe to be true about relationships, such as "relationships are hard" or "love is sacrifice." Once you realize that you have a relationship belief that does not work for you, you can change it! 2) Rather than focus on changing other people, focus on changing the script and beliefs you hold. This is the only way to truly change your relationships. Decide what type of relationship you want to have, and then tell the Universe you insist on this being true for you by not settling for anything less. 3) Because relationships are so intimate and reveal our deepest needs and fears, the best way to manifest something different is to work with someone one on one to discover the underlying issue. When life feels like an endless loop of the same problems, bad relationships, sabotaged sales calls, recurring self-doubt, it's usually not a lack of willpower. It's deeper patterns, hidden beliefs, and subconscious blocks quietly steering your choices. Today's guest, Beth McGill of ThriveFlourishGrow.com, is a certified hypnotherapist, energy healer, spiritual mentor, and best‑selling author who helps people finally break those patterns by working at the root level of mind, body, and spirit. In this episode of Marketer of the Day, Beth explains how our thoughts, language, and energetic patterns shape our reality often more than we realize. She shares how clients usually come to her after trying “everything else” (therapy, acupuncture, mindset work, etc.) and still feeling blocked, anxious, or stuck in repeating cycles like toxic relationships, failed sales calls, or chronic self‑sabotage. Using a combination of hypnotherapy, energy work, and connection to the higher self, Beth helps uncover and release the original emotional imprints sometimes from decades earlier that are still influencing current behavior. Beth demystifies what actually happens in a hypnotherapy/energy session and why it's not like the movie clichés. She walks us through her process: a free consultation to clarify the real issue beneath the surface, then a guided, deeply relaxing session (in person or via Zoom) that blends prayer, grounding, visualization, sound healing, and intuitive guidance. Each session is unique, but the goal is the same: identify the emotional root cause, release it, and “activate” a new, empowered way of being so clients can move forward with clarity and confidence. We also dive into practical tools listeners can use right away. Beth shares how to shift your self‑talk by dropping disempowering words like “always,” “never,” and even “I'm sorry” (and replacing them with stronger language like “I apologize”). She explains why breathwork, especially extending your exhale, can instantly calm your nervous system before a Zoom call, sales conversation, or big decision. Throughout the conversation, Beth emphasizes that choice, awareness, and surrender to a higher power (God/Spirit/Universe) are not weaknesses, but gateways to recognizing your true inner power. Beth's book, “Allow Life to Happen and Receive Everything You Desire,” distills her personal journey and research into a practical roadmap. She read 16 books, tested 30+ manifesting and mindset exercises, and then packaged the most effective ideas so readers can experiment, discover what resonates, and build their own toolkit for manifestation and spiritual growth without the overwhelm or guesswork. https://youtu.be/mG1Z2XWAScM?si=9l9VPRfzedZYEOIM If you're feeling blocked by recurring patterns in business or life, struggling with negative self‑talk, or just sensing “something” is in the way but you can't name it, this episode offers a grounded, spiritual, and highly practical perspective. Beth's approach to transforming fear into freedom, connecting with your soul's purpose, and manifesting with intention may be exactly the reset you've been looking for. Tune in to learn how to stop carrying old emotional baggage, tap into your higher self, and start allowing life to unfold in your favor. Quotes: “Surrender is powerful. When we truly surrender to God, Spirit, or the Universe, we recognize our own power within us.” “Everybody else is a mirror. If we think something's wrong with somebody else, they're just being a mirror for us, and we need to go within.” “One of the things I like to do is remind people how powerful they are in every situation. We don't need to be in a place of victimhood.” Contact Details: Ready to Thrive, Flourish & Grow?
