Bucket list moment ✔️A few of us from our RV park swam with manatees at Hunter Springs Park in Crystal River — 62° air, 72° crystal-clear spring water, and the gentlest giants gliding right past us.Floating quietly while a manatee swims up to you? Pure magic.Sometimes the best memories happen when you get a little cold, a little brave, and dive in.

#148 Looking for fewer regrets? In this episode of the Everyday Bucket List Podcast, we're diving into something we don't always say out loud: travel regrets. The trips we postponed. The experiences we assumed we'd "get to someday." The bucket list ideas we quietly ghosted. But here's the good news — skipped dreams don't disappear. They wait. And sometimes, all it takes is one decision to turn regret into action. You'll hear about: Karen's regret about missing the Yayoi Kusama exhibit at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden — and how she turned it around by planning a trip to see it at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum Why spontaneous stops like Niagara Falls in winter can become unexpected bucket list highlights How positioning a trip around the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown proves that meaningful experiences don't require weeks off A reminder that bucket list ideas aren't just about destinations — they can center around art, concerts, sporting events, or once-in-a-lifetime natural phenomena This episode of the Everyday Bucket List Podcast is about shrinking regrets in real time. It's about noticing that quiet nudge — the one that says, "I could still do that" — and choosing to move. The journey begins with an honest reflection on missed opportunities and the subtle weight of "someday." It continues with a proactive decision to plan around what truly matters — whether that's an art exhibit, a natural wonder, or a small-town museum filled with nostalgia. Along the way, you'll hear how quick action transformed hesitation into gratitude, how winter travel created a quieter and more powerful experience at Niagara Falls, and how stacking meaningful stops into one trip maximized both time and memories. Because the fastest way to shrink a regret? Move. It's Cinco de Luncho time, and this week's countdown is all about the biggest, wildest sporting events outside the traditional Big Four leagues. From global spectacles to rowdy American traditions, the guys draft their ultimate bucket list of must-attend events where the party can be just as legendary as the competition. Would you travel across the world for Japanese baseball's electric atmosphere? Brave the chaos of the Waste Management Open? Experience the speed and spectacle of the Daytona 500? Dress to the nines for the Kentucky Derby? Or is nothing topping the pure insanity of an SEC football rivalry on campus? Along the way, the conversation veers into what really makes these events special, cultural immersion vs pure party energy, and which experiences are actually worth the trip.

We're diving deep into the archives to find some forgotten gold. But today, we may have dived too far. We start with the full story behind Billy's complete meltdown when ushering our great mate Danny Frawley out of the studio, before he takes on Michael Klim in a swimming race, and we hear a motorsport update from Greg Rust - with some famous numbers being handed over in the Supercars. We give away an epic prize to LIV Golf Adelaide next weekend, JB wants to go on a train trip, and we hear the debut of Billy-Oke. Billy and Daisy have your weekend sorted with all the sport you can get around, then it's the Fat's On Fire Quiz - and after the team failed at question 8 last week, can they go all the way? Then, we revisit erotic fiction writer Eva Sless joining JB and Billy in studio, where she wrote a short story that featured both of them! (EXPLICIT) Finally, we hear Billy's first ever joke. In just a few months, today's guest won't be able to listen to this episode because she will no longer be able to hear at all. At 17, Ella Coonen discovered she had a hearing impediment and received special hearing aids that allowed her to fully experience the world of sound for the first time. That was immediately followed by the discovery that her hearing would soon disappear altogether. Both discoveries were the spark of inspiration for a documentary project that will leave audiences laughing, crying and everything in between. Listen as Ella and film producer David Kaye share with Deb their race against time to capture “The Sound Of A Bucket List”, an experience of a lifetime for Ella and a film to inspire the rest of us.Website: https://www.soundofabucketlist.comIG: https://www.instagram.com/soundofabucketlist/Go Fund Me: https://www.gofundme.com/f/the-sound-of-a-bucket-list-documentary-funding

Welcome to another round of the Film School Janitors' BUCKET LIST! For this outing, they will be discussing all the films about POPEYE! Now you may be wondering how there is more than one film about our favorite cartoon sailor with an affinity for spinach, and that's because in 2025, he entered the public domain! But back in in 1980, he was still protected under copyright law, so Robin Williams played POPEYE in his first movie role, and how did that all pan out? Listen to find out!

New Year's resolutions hit everyone differently. Some people vow to slim down, shake up their love life, chase a new career, or finally finish that long‑abandoned project. Others aim for something a little more fun. Co‑host Mike admitted he's been sitting on a mountain of genre films he's never seen, so we figured—why not turn that into our annual tradition? Each co‑host picked a genre title they'd always meant to watch, dove in, and came back ready to talk about it.This year's cinematic spread is a wild one: Lucio Fulci's 1981 Lovecraft‑soaked nightmare The HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY, the 2015 supernatural noir HE NEVER DIED, the 2025 festival‑favorite EDGAR ALLEN POE'S THE OVAL PORTRAIT, HBO Max's electrifying STRANGER THINGS Season 4, and the scrappy, sci‑fi‑comedy debut from John Carpenter and Dan O'Bannon, DARK STAR.As we kick off another year of deep dives and dark delights, Dark Discussions wishes all our listeners a fantastic 2026. When was the last time you said yes to something small that mattered? Last year I checked something off my bucket list. Not a grand adventure or expensive trip, just a concert I'd been wanting to see for 30 years. The Barenaked Ladies finally made it happen, and what surprised me was how much emotion came with something so small. In this episode, I talk about why we wait for the big moments while ordinary experiences slip past us. Why music can take you back to exactly who you were. And why little adventures with the people you love might matter more than the trip you keep postponing. This week: Put one small thing on your bucket list. The discussion highlights revisiting cities for museums, food, history, art, and cultural experiences rather than trying to see everything at once. The host also emphasizes that interests can change over time, making repeat visits feel fresh and meaningful. Overall, the episode encourages travelers to view repeat trips as an opportunity to add new layers to places they already love. These ideas make the perfect weekend trips in the USA or for a longer stay. Listen to these episodes next: Are 2 or 3 days enough in Washington DC? What if your bucket list isn't a list at all? What if it's a voice—your future self—quietly trying to get your attention? In this episode of Women in the Middle, we take the pressure off the idea of a bucket list and explore it in a completely different way. Instead of treating it like a to-do list or a set of goals, we imagine what your bucket list might say to you if it could talk—about the dreams you've postponed, the ways you've put yourself last, and what still matters as time starts to feel different in midlife.
