Es wird Zeit, dass wir uns dem aktuellen Hype-Buch widmen. Zumindest einer von uns. Derjenige, der selbst eine Drachen-Vergangenheit hat. Rebecca Yarros stürmt derzeit mit Band 3 ihrer Reihe, die hierzulande "Flammengeküsst" genannt wird, die Bestsellerlisten. Eine Fantasy-Welt, in der Drachenreiter ihr Reich verteidigen, aber um Drachenreiter zu werden, müssen sie selbst ein tödliches Auswahlverfahren durchlaufen. Violet Sorrengail ist eine davon, und neben dem nicht gerade leicht gemachten Drachenzähmen muss sie sich auch noch mit Xaden herumschlagen, dessen Rebelleneltern hingerichtet wurden - auf Geheiß von Violets Mutter. Nun will der ihr an den Kragen. Aber ... verdammt ... er sieht doch auch so gut und mysteriös aus! Ja, wir sind hier knietief in der Romantasy, und man darf die Zielgruppe der Reihe ruhig als primär weiblich bezeichnen. Das hat aber weder Falko noch Felix Pietsch davon abgehelten, den ersten Band "Fourth Wing" zu lesen. Und sie hatten Spaß. Ihr hoffentlich auch mit dieser neuen Folge!
