Mitchell Jr., the Cook County Chief Public Defender was the lead policy expert for the Coalition to End Money Bond. Mitchell also heads the state's largest public defender office. "No-Trump" Hansen found it difficult to be a single-issue candidate. Gop Tom Emmer will sell you ground beef for $2 a pound if you don't mind it's cut with bullshit. Thomas Massie introduced articles of impeachment against Pete Hegseth… 8 articles, 34 pages, over an hour. Massie surprised his Gop bosses yesterday, so it was no surprise when Gops shut the place down today. They were finished rolling Mitch around anyhow. The House passed their War Powers Resolution, again and again, including the votes of a handful of Republicans. Donald K. Trump brokers peace in his mind with Putin and Zelensky. This puts him way ahead of SIL Jared Kushner, who still needs to actually travel and meet with the people screwing him in deals. Saudi Arabia bought every Trump they could find and still have buyer's remorse. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed could not debate one of the loser Gop Mikes, because that Gop Mike is a loser. Rudy Giuliani wanted to debate him but only had the courage to tweet.

Families of 9/11 just walked a petition into New York City Hall asking Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) to stay away from Friday's 25th anniversary memorial. More than a dozen relatives of the dead stood on the steps and said the mayor's presence turns a private hour of grief into a political photo. The Change.org petition started by Giovanni Galante — whose wife, Grace, was killed in the attacks — now has more than 102,000 signatures. They asked for one window: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the National September 11 Memorial, where the names of 2,983 victims will be read. Mamdani has said he will be there. Cheri Sparacio, who lost her husband, Tom, on the 84th floor of the South Tower, put the line where families want it: “It's not about his religion or where he came from. It's about the policies he has today.” They pointed to his chief counsel, Ramzi Kassem, who represented an Al-Qaeda terrorist held at Guantánamo. Charles Wolf said Giuliani and Pataki held their hands after the attacks. “Mayor Mamdani has not shown any of that.” Mamdani says he loves the city and wants the week focused on families and first responders. Rudy Giuliani just told Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) to skip this week's 9/11 memorials: “It offends me.” Watch this before Friday's ceremony and decide if America's mayor is out of line — or saying what the families have been saying for months. It is the 25th anniversary. More than 2,700 people were murdered in New York that morning. Giuliani was the mayor who walked the pile. The man in that office now says he will stand at Ground Zero anyway. Giuliani, former Gov. George Pataki, and a petition that has cleared 100,000 signatures are telling him to stay home. This is not a manners debate. Pataki named the problem: Anyone who will not distance himself from Hasan Piker — who said America deserved September 11 — should not be there.
