Daily Study: God has given you a calling for which He desires you to succeed at. However, as much as God desires for you to succeed, Satan desires for you to fail. Therefore, Satan will send many attacks your way that are designed to stop your calling and/or are fashioned to tempt you to give up. A major way we can stop his attacks is to put on the full armor of God. This is practically done by living a life following the ways of God. Dr. Lane Tipton speaks at the Reformed Forum Annual Theology Conference, held at Lakeland Church in Gurnee, Illinois on September 27, 2025. Dr. Tipton presents Jesus Christ as the "mountain ascending mediator" and the promised seed of the woman from Genesis 3:15. Dr. Tipton argues that God's plan for redemption is framed by the concept of a holy mountain dwelling, beginning with heaven itself and its earthly counterpart, the Garden of Eden. Halloween is slowly transforming into something new. Catholics and some other denominations of Christianity are now claiming that the festival is itself is, and always was, a Christian holiday. Other Christians are maintaining their claims that it is an evil holiday that should be avoided at all costs. Still, many non-religious, or even satanists, embrace the day as evil. What if all of these arguments miss the point of Halloween? Also, a recent viral post about kids in MAGA-costumes being given laced-candy is nothing more than a modern legend about the razor-in-an-apple, something candy companies certainly profited off for decades, but which was nothing more than an urban legend. The way that people respond to the laced-candy story seems to be a political cope, just as the “Halloween is Christian” hashtag is a religious cope. In both cases, and in one way, we can witness the natural evolution of tradition and legend. Romans 8:16 — When Satan tempts the Christian to despair or tells them that they are not a child of God, they can turn to the word of God and find an abundance of assurance based upon the promises of the Scriptures. In this sermon on Roman 8:16 titled “The Witness of the Spirit,” Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones does not discount the amount of assurance found by going to the Bible. He argues, however, that there is an even greater level of assurance that the believer can have. In Romans 8:16, the apostle Paul mentions the witness of the Spirit. This witness of the Spirit, says Dr. Lloyd-Jones, is the same as the baptism of the Spirit, or the sealing of the Spirit, found elsewhere in Scripture. While every Christian has the Spirit of adoption and is a child of God, not all have the witness of the Spirit. This is a second blessing that comes upon a believer for the purpose of assurance. Moreover, it illumines the believer's understanding with respect to salvation. In essence, it is a special way the love of God is poured out on a particular believer in the quietness of the heart. In this chilling segment of Hidden Killers Live, Tony Brueski reads and dissects Chad Daybell's Letter #7 — a rambling, supernatural account written years before the doomsday murders that would make him infamous. In the letter, Daybell claims that while working as the sexton of a Utah cemetery, he was haunted by the ghost of a petty thief named Eddie — a spirit that supposedly opened gates, picked locks, and moved padlocks onto pegs. He writes that he eventually told Eddie to “go toward the light,” and that the disturbances stopped. Then the letter descends into something far darker. Daybell describes being electrically jolted and shoved by an unseen force while probing a “haunted grave.” He calls it a demonic attack and connects it to the same “evil legions” described in 19th-century LDS texts. To him, it wasn't psychosis or imagination — it was confirmation of his divine purpose. From there, he recounts hearing a dozen disembodied voices outside his window shouting, “We hate your books!” and claims this was proof that Satan opposed his writing. For Chad, it all fit the narrative: he wasn't an aspiring author with an obsession — he was a spiritual warrior under attack. That mindset — the blending of fantasy, religion, and grandiosity — would become the foundation of his later relationship with Lori Vallow, the “prophetess” who believed their murders were part of God's plan. Tony breaks down how this letter foreshadowed everything that came next: The God complex behind Chad Daybell's self-anointed mission. His habit of reframing delusion as divine validation. Reflection What really strikes me about this particular passage is the way in which the woman, who is burdened by the power of sin, was bent over, unable to stand erect. It's a beautiful image of the way in which Jesus is trying to describe to all of us that there was a burden on people before Jesus died and rose, a burden of evil that had stronger power over them. And once Jesus died on the cross that power was limited. Cut way back. And so Jesus is so anxious for people to understand what he's about to give to them. And so frustrated by those who resisted, who claimed it can't happen. Closing Prayer Father, awaken us to the gifts that you have won for us, especially the power we have over those things that would rob us of life. You died for us. "The Little Season" refers to a brief period mentioned in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 20:3, 7-8) after Satan is released from his imprisonment for 1,000 years. During this time, he will deceive the nations for a final time before being defeated and cast into the lake of fire. Interpretations vary, with some believing this season is a future event, while others, known as preterists, suggest it has already occurred, possibly tied to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. A fringe interpretation, sometimes linked to conspiracy theories, suggests that our current history is a deception orchestrated by Satan during this "Little Season," with ancient architecture being evidence of a past, hidden reign of Christ.  Walk with Joel as he navigates Part 3 by looking at the real history of the theology of Pretribulation and the Rapture. He explores the controversial, C.I. Scofield, and his Scofield Study Bible by looking at a book called, “The Incredible Scofield and His Book” by Joseph M. Canfield and if the facts that are presented are true and if C.I. Scofield created his study Bible by orders of the Rothschilds. He then goes through the life of John Nelson Darby of the Plymouth Brethren and if his ideas of Dispensationalism and the Rapture were given to him by a “visionary” named Margaret MacDonald. He decides its time to take people to the past church fathers and see if the Rapture, Pretribulation and the “Ages” were only a thing of the early 1800s or of indeed the early theologians were discussing these ideas back in early Christianity.
