Karen explains that memory can be unreliable because the brain reconstructs it from pieces, but she also leaves room for the possibility that some experiences may be connected to the Mandela effect. Karen expands the question further, wondering whether communication with someone who has passed could involve an afterlife version, another timeline version, or something even more complex.
