It's really a worst-case scenario when you are 4 and you lost your bestest friend in the whole world, a teddy bear named "Bobby". But American Airlines understood the assignment! STORY: https://www.wdjx.com/american-airlines-tracks-down-lost-teddy-bear/

What if the reason you keep running out of fuel — running out of clarity, running out of resilience, running out of confidence exactly when you need it most — isn't that you're not working hard enough, but that you've been running the wrong system for the human being doing the work? In this episode of That Will Nevr Work, host Maurice sits down with Rob Tracz — high-performance coach, keynote speaker, entrepreneur, Master of Science in Exercise Science, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction, Precision Nutrition Level 2 Coach, and founder and CEO of TAPS Coaching — for one of the most scientifically grounded and personally moving conversations about human performance, confidence under pressure, and the entrepreneurial operating system we have ever recorded. Rob's own story took him from chasing success while silently unraveling, to sleeping on a yoga mat in a gym, to receiving his dying father's final words — "Take care of yourself. Don't work so hard. Be good for your sister" — and building those words into a coaching philosophy that has transformed hundreds of driven professionals out of Robot Mode and into their Prime Performance. In this episode, you'll discover:What Robot Mode is, how to know if you're in it, and the specific reason driven people are the most vulnerable to itThe real story behind Rob's rock bottom — and the moment his father's final words finally changed everythingWhy Look Good, Feel Good, Do Great Things is a performance strategy, not a wellness sloganThe Confidence Equation — what confidence actually is at a scientific level and how to build it as a system, not a feeling If you have been grinding, hustling, and achieving — while quietly running on empty — this episode is the performance intervention your business has been waiting for.

Today I'm sharing a simple, repeatable framework I use to feel good most days, even when plans fall apart, projects stall, or life throws the usual curveballs. Feeling better isn't about pretending everything is great. It's about building a steady inner state through repeated habits. What are those habits? We start with what a good day looks like in real life for me, from there, I break it down, the process of creating good-day feeling, through 3-pillar lens you can use as a weekly compass: vitality, connection, and purpose. We also talk mindset and emotional regulation, why attention acts like a spotlight, and how CBT, ACT, and DBT-style tools can help you stop catastrophizing and start choosing a better lens. At the end I'll be sharing the core habit that makes everything else work and improve over time.Download your free worksheet - a simple weekly reflection practice to help you find your wins, spot your drains, and apply the 80/20 to your joy and results. If you are enjoying these, subscribe and share it with one person who needs a steadier, fulfilling, peaceful day, and leave a rating and review so more people can find the work.Follow My Daily Blog - Your Best Coaching on Substack.Text Me Your Thoughts and IdeasSupport the showBrought to you by Angela Shurina Certified Health, Sleep, Performance & Executive Coach 360 with 18 years of experience helping people change to feel, be and do their best.

In this episode of Why Care?, Nadia Nagamootoo is joined by pop artist, Starling, for a conversation about self-worth, invisible adversity, ageism, loneliness and the courage to become who you really are. Starling shares how childhood trauma, industry gatekeeping and years of being told she was not enough shaped her early story, and how inner work, nervous system awareness and radical self-belief helped her rebuild it. Together, they explore the pressures of image, success and social media, why so many people still feel lonely and not good enough, and what it means to create work that heals rather than simply performs. It is a conversation about confidence, human connection and choosing yourself, again and again.Key Takeaways:Invisible adversity shapes confidence just as deeply as more visible forms of discrimination or exclusion. You can build an identity that is both fully authentic and consciously created.Success, followers and public recognition do not automatically heal not-enoughness.Feeling safe in your body and nervous system changes the quality of your choices.Self-improvement becomes healthier when it comes from self-respect rather than self-rejection.Human connection remains one of the most powerful forms of healing. Guest BioStarling is a pop artist and speaker whose work sits at the intersection of music and personal transformation, a space her growing audience describes as “pop therapy”. Once told she could not sing, she has built her career by dismantling limitations and turning lived experience into songs about empowerment, resilience and possibility. Her music centres on one core idea: you are not what has happened to you, you are what you choose to become. Alongside millions of streams, major radio and press support, and sync placements including Love Island, Starling has also built a powerful platform around self-worth, creative empowerment and human connection, helping people rethink what they are capable of becoming.Links Starling: Website | Facebook| Instagram | Spotify | Apple Music Nadia Nagamootoo: Website | LinkedIn | Instagram | Buy Beyond DiscomfortAvenir Consulting: https://linktr.ee/avenirconsultingservicesProduced by Mauro Kenji Serra, Kenji Productions

Leveling Up: Creating Everything From Nothing with Natalie Jill
We talk a lot on this show about supplements, hormones, food, sleep, and protocols. But there is a layer underneath all of that we have not gone deep on until now. Our beliefs. Who we think we are. Why we are here. And the quiet, unconscious story running the show every single day. In this episode, Natalie sits down with her own therapist Mcayla Sarno, an EMDR specialist who has spent almost twenty years helping women get to the root of the beliefs that are silently shaping their bodies, their relationships, their purpose, and their health. Natalie also shares the very personal EMDR story that changed her life. The memory with her mom in the car. The belief she did not even know she was carrying. And what shifted when she finally looked at it through different eyes. This is a real conversation about why so many of us hit midlife feeling lost, why the empty nest hits harder than anyone warned us, what is actually happening when we try to control everything, and why a therapist asking the right question will always do something ChatGPT cannot. We talk about how core beliefs form, how they show up in the body, and the work it takes to finally come home to who we have always been underneath all of it. If you have been feeling like you have done all the outer work and something inside still is not clicking, this is the episode for you. WE GO DEEP ON • What EMDR actually is and why it is not just for trauma • The difference between understanding something and integrating it • How core beliefs form and why they generalize to every area of our life • The connection between unresolved beliefs and chronic health issues • Why ChatGPT will never replace a real therapist asking the right question • The empty nest grief nobody talks about and the mini mourning of every version of our kids • Why control feels safe but never actually makes us safe (and what does) • How external validation becomes the trap of our 30s and 40s and breaks open in our 50s • The infant question that reframes everything: were you good enough the day you were born • Natalie's personal EMDR story, the car memory with her mom, and the belief she was carrying • Why 5-day intensives work when weekly therapy has not • "I always was. I already am." If you're exhausted from always putting everyone else first, people-pleasing, and struggling with anxiety, this conversation is going to change how you see yourself. And if you've ever felt invisible in your own family, like your needs didn't matter, or if nothing you did was ever enough, this episode will finally connect the dots for you as an adult. Today on the podcast, renowned therapist and bestselling author Kelly McDaniel explains that many of your patterns stem from a hidden wound from your childhood. Her work has helped millions of people finally name an invisible heartbreak they've been carrying for decades: Mother Hunger. She says Mother Hunger is a primal yearning for a certain quality of love, safety, and guidance that many of us didn't receive in the way we needed as children, even if our mothers did their best. This episode is not about blaming mothers. It's about telling the truth, understanding what happened, and learning how to give yourself what you went without, so you can stop proving your worth and start feeling it. In this episode, you'll learn: -What Mother Hunger is (and why it can feel like you're searching for love in the wrong places) -The 3 core needs every child requires: nurturing, protection/safety, and guidance -Why women become people-pleasers and emotional “monitors” in their families -How long-term childhood stress can show up as anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and feeling “never enough” -Why addiction and disordered eating can become ways to regulate your nervous system because you never felt safe -Why you can love your mom and still acknowledge: something was missing -How to start healing by learning to nurture, protect, and guide yourself now -Signs of an unhealthy mother-daughter relationship and how to recognize them in your own life -How mothers unknowingly pass down trauma If you've spent your entire life feeling like something was off in your relationship with your mother, but you could never quite put your finger on it, Kelly is here to say: You were right. And if you feel guilty for just considering that something might have been off, you need to hear this conversation today. Whether you had a mother who tried her best or a childhood you've never been able to make sense of, this episode will give you the truth, the framework, and the first real steps toward healing.
