If you've been listening to the show for some time, you probably already know my stance on live launches. I am not generally a fan of only live launching your offer. As I teach my Accelerator members, you can do live launches, but you should also be offering your program on an evergreen basis. Offering only live launches is stressful. There are so many moving parts and it can easily get overwhelming. If you're tired of being on this live launch roller coaster, you're in the right place. In this episode of Art of Online Business, I sat down with TaVona Denise to talk about how you can go from having stressful, unfocussed launches to having fun and profitable launches. TaVona Denise helps coaches and online service providers redesign their businesses so they can have the lifestyle and impact they started the business for. A former physical therapist, master-certified life coach, and trauma-informed business consultant, TaVona uses her diverse background to help entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses with integrity and ease so they can bring in their favorite clients without suffering from burnout or hating the process. TaVona is the author of Unstoppable Success: How to Finally Create the Body, Business and Lifestyle You Want and the voice behind the podcasts, Breaking Protocol, and Coaching & Conversations. When she is not handling business, you can find her singing karaoke or enjoying the white sands and beautiful blue waters of Mexico which she currently calls home.In this episode, you'll learn:Why you should look at launches like a partyCreating a launch that matches your energyWhy there's more than one way to launchThe importance of experimenting and evaluating The internal work you need to do with a launchWhy we subconsciously sabotage ourselvesWhat's working right now in terms of launchingLinks & Resources:The Art of Online Business websiteDM me on InstagramVisit my YouTube channelThe Art of Online Business clips on YouTubeFull episodes of The Art of Online Business Podcast on YouTubeThe Art of Online Business Podcast websiteCheck out my Accelerator coaching program*Disclosure: I only recommend products I use and love and all opinions expressed here are my own. Today's topic is a hot one as it is something I get asked ALL the time and something that I've seen several people talking about recently. Are Facebook ads still worth it? I started running Facebook ads in the corporate world in 2015 and many things have changed over the years. Today I thought I'd share with you a bit of a review of the Mapping launch - what happened, how it went and my insights and feeling about it in general. I feel like launching is one of those things that can consume us if we let it. We can drown ourselves in all the launching advice there is out there and we can build these huge walls of expectation that we can't ever scale. Launching so often can feel like a make or break moment in our businesses. So today I wanted to talk about my launch just to break down some of the power around it.What I talk about in this episode:The walls of expectation around my launchThe expectation VS reality nature of the Mapping launchThe downside of being a chronic daydreamerFor links and resources discussed in the show, see the full show notes.Kayte on InstagramSubscribe to my newsletter!

As an early manager, it wasn't something that I think I communicated super well in my head. I knew what we wanted to achieve as a brand, but couldn't pass them down.” “We put in place a robust goal structure where everyone at the company knows what we're aiming for from the high level, but also on a quarterly basis, and what they need to be doing to help contribute to those higher level goals.”“I couldn't shake this thought that, why is something that we're cooking off of that is touching our food so potentially dangerous, and there must be a better solution out there.”“I decided to launch a kitchen brand, starting with cookware and wanted the main tenant to be focused around non-toxic materials and implementing better manufacturing processes in the space.”“It was important to kind of convey the bigger vision that we're looking to tackle, and so we go by Caraway”“Results aren't always instantaneous and success can't always be measured right away. Fundraising and building a startup can be really difficult.”“I felt like all the no's we got were just fuel to the fire and, eventually they would pay off.”“Just because it's a no now, doesn't mean it's a no in the future.”“We wanted to get into a marketing segment that our competition wasn't in and influencers is a tougher category than running a Facebook ad because you have to go and build those relationships. But just the lack of competition there we wanted to pursue it as a launch strategy.”“For us, really how the product lives outside of cooking was tremendously important.”“We want every touch point to be something unique and something you remember”“I really encourage anyone thinking about starting a business to focus on what you think is best for the path that you take. Just because others are fundraising doesn't mean that you have to, or just because they're advertising on Facebook or Instagram or going direct to consumer first, doesn't mean that you can't go to retail first.”“I think the best brands and companies are typically built around doing the opposite of what most others are doing. If people haven't seen it before it probably means there's a big opportunity there.”

It's important to nurture your list, but there's a fine line between being your subscribers' mama and being what you really are - a marketer. In today's episode, I explore the balance between creating nurturing and educational content versus promotional content. I ask you to evaluate the moments when you promote your products, and whether you're training your audience to buy from you. Truth be told, if you're only selling and promoting during a launch, you're not going to get the passive sales you desire. And at the end of the day, your email list should be a list that's filled with potential customers. Tune in to this episode as I introduce you to my free framework for writing emails that sell, so that you can build a strong email list that can carry your launch and not the other way around. “Let them unsubscribe. Because again, you want hot leads, you want people that want to buy from you.” “A sustainable business is about capturing and converting, capturing and converting. That is the mark of a sustainable business, one that has a system of consistent lead capture and consistent lead conversion.” Here's a closer look at the episode:Why you're not your subscribers' mamaPriming your email list so that they're ready to buyThe problem with selling via email only during a launchThe true mark of a sustainable businessWhy my most successful clients are the ones who send sales emails consistently Resources:Finesse Your Funnel™ is now enrolling: https://roldancomarketing.thrivecart.com/finesse-your-funnel-program/ Finesse Your Funnel's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/finesseyourfunnel Kirsten's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kirstenroldan/ Apply for 1:1 coaching: https://hello.dubsado.com/public/form/view/60a96bb98a242ac59d4002faJoin my email list: https://saltandpeppersocial.lpages.co/email-list/

“There are enough podcasts out there. What are you bringing that's different?”—Monique BryanIt might seem like everyone has a podcast these days, but did you know that most people don't make it past seven episodes?! With everything that's involved, I can believe it! You may already know that I attempted to launch a podcast several times before starting this one.So, what did it take to get here? I would love to say that it was easy, but that would be a bald-faced lie!It has taken hours of hard work, strategy, marketing, tech, and a great team to get to this point. In this #Dirty30Live episode, I run down some of the key things you should know before you even get started. As an entrepreneur, you need to treat your podcast as a marketing tool that fits inside your business. Every aspect of your podcast — content, format, and guests — should be authentic and align to your marketing strategy. Why? Because it's an extension of your brand. You need to know why you're creating content, who it is for, how you will promote it, and which guests to choose. Be intentional. It all comes down to planning. Preparation and forward thinking will ensure that you consistently show up, that you align with your marketing strategy, and that your brand is protected. “The truth is that just about any business can be an online business.”— Tasha CochranIf you're drawn to the idea of having control over your work, schedule, and income, you've come to the right place. This episode of the Wealth Life Balance Podcast is part of a series touching on the basics of launching and running an online business!First: you're not crazy to think that you can run your own small business. Small businesses make up 99.9% of American businesses — and more than half of those are home-based.You do not need a giant team or massive infrastructure in order to make a significant income — I built my business with a little help from my family.Four years ago, I was a practicing attorney. I was happy with the money I made and loved my work, but wanted more freedom and flexibility. To be honest, the idea of entrepreneurship never occurred to me, until I stumbled into it by accident. (Listen to the first episode of this podcast to hear all about it!)Long story short, by the time I realized what an online business was, I was already running one successfully.Just imagine what you could build if you started one intentionally!Building my business accidentally has required a lot of course correction as I try to reshape it into my true dream business. My goal is to help you build your dream business from the very start! In this episode, you'll discover:The #1 question to ask yourself BEFORE you prep for launchThe 3 major categories of online business revenue — and how to discover the best combination for your businessA free tool to help you plan out your profits without added stress“Trying new things is going to be uncomfortable — that's normal!”— Tasha CochranHighlights: 00:48 The challenge and joy of trying new things 03:33 Newly considering an online business? 05:57 Small business classification and statistics08:06 Online business definition 12:28 Three types of online revenue streams 16:37 The recap and final step 17:28 Ready to Ascend? Doing It Online : The Doable Online Marketing Podcast with Kate McKibbin
In the last 6 years...I’ve created and launched over 12 different courses and online programs. YES! 12! So in today’s episode, I want to share a behind the scenes of what my first ever course launch looked like. Because I know that it’s helpful to lift the curtain and see where people started...not just where they are right now (many launches in). This episode was prompted by a Facebook Memory of my very first website design. To see where my website started and where it is now, just shows how things can change when you take imperfect action. The same goes for launching online programs. So if you still haven’t taken the leap to create and launch your first online course or program. Let me take you through my very first course launch where you’ll see it was very imperfect too. But the most important thing is that it happened! And I started...which has led me to launch twelve times and arrive at the business I have today. So together let’s start that walk down memory lane of my very first online course launch…Things You’ll Learn in this Episode of Doing it Online:Behind the scenes of my first ever online course and how I brought it to life The biggest wins from my first ever launchThe lessons I’ve learned after creating and launching over 12 different online courses and programsWant More?Make more course sales than ever before when you steal my exact funnel at stealmyfunnel.comWant access to my 5-Day eCourse MBA (Mini Business Accelerator) for FREE? We were joined by Luka Mueller, who played a key role in establishing Switzerland as a cryptocurrency center and in laying the legal groundwork for the ICO boom. In 2014, his law firm MME worked with the Ethereum team to set up the Ethereum Foundation and run its public fundraiser. A model that was later copied by countless other projects and led MME to work with many other leading protocols like Cosmos and Tezos. We also discussed his new project Sygnum, a cryptocurrency-focused bank. Nearly every company that works in the cryptocurrency space has had problems with its banking partner. Legal uncertainty, lack of knowledge, or simple unwillingness to work with cryptocurrency companies has made this a frequent nightmare for companies in this emerging sector. With a presence in both Switzerland and Singapore, Sygnum aims to fill a piece of missing infrastructure in the crypto-ecosystem: a bank that is able to receive, hold and transfer protocol tokens while offering a secure fiat gateway to easily transfer from the old world of finance to the new.We also discussed Switzerland’s regulatory environment and why it is able to provide more regulatory clarity.Topics covered in this episode:What life was like for Luka before blockchainHow Luka met Vitalik and went on to set up the Ethereum Foundation and run their fundraiserWhat protocols his law firm, MME, helped launchThe lessons learned over the years, and how he would do it differentlyWhy Switzerland is a great jurisdiction for crypto projectsWhat Luka thinks of asset-backed tokensWhat is Sygum, and why did he decide to start a crypto bankWhat Luke believes will happen when the tech giants release their own currenciesThe difference between Sygnum and similar banksWhat Luka's fears are in the space, and what he is hopeful forEpisode links: MME Law FirmSygnum WebsiteInstitutional Custody: A Portal to the Digital Asset Economy (Sygnum Blog)How Tokenization is Closing the Gap Between Public and Private Markets (Sygnum Blog)Sygnum gets green light to operate in Singapore (SwissInfo)Switzerland’s first crypto bank reports “overwhelming” demand (Decrypt)Sygnum on TwitterSponsors: eToro: Automatically copy every trade of eToro's top crypto traders at the exact price in real-time - https://www.etoro.com/Cosmos: Compete to win 100,000 ATOM by building and running Cosmos Zones - https://cosmos.network/goz/This episode is hosted by Brian Fabian Crain & Friederike Ernst.
