Yes, it is Mr. 6'9". It is El Cheech. It is Lee Malenko representing Powerbomb Jetsu. CCN definitely inside the bell. Thank y'all for sticking with us while we worked out through this internet issue. I guess cops heard me complaining and they finally got it up. About the time. Pause. But, yeah, we got a lot to talk about, man. We got Backlash. We got the King and Queen of the Ring tournament. We also have Double or Nothing heating up. Nice card. Trick Willy Wonka talking about some NXT as well. We also got to talk about the fact that this Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef continued, continued as we were reporting. So we're going to follow up with that. That's dead. No, they ain't dead. It's still alive. It's alive. Some backlash happened. Oh, so nothing happened? Nothing happened? Are you sure nothing happened? Because I could have sworn that a security guard got popped over this. And also his stores got vandalized with Not Like Us sprayed on it. Oh, not to mention that maybe it looked like he waved the white flag. It's a lot that happened inside that beef. It's so big that you got people outside of the hip hop community Talking about it, trending on it. NBC, CNN, Fox, the NBA, ESPN. Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels. So the beef ain't never over. It's still trending. We don't know if there's going to be another. We don't know if there's going to be another diss track. We don't know what's going to happen. It's that. It passed more than 72 hours, my G. I mean, shoot. You know how I be, man. Three days later, you never know. Something may pop up. We waited almost two weeks for push-ups. That's all I'm saying. He'll classical bury his ass if he actually trying to come back. He should just dead it, take the J. Cole route, and just go. I don't think it's going to be a J. Cole round. But I will say this, though. Not Like Us has been remixed so many times to the point that I think that this may be a time for him to take a break. Anytime you get serenaded, you get serenaded with a saxophone from a diss track, I think at that time, it's probably time for him to take a break. And you think that it's alive? You think he's going to come back? Nah, bruh. Beef is contagious. Yeah. But I was out earlier and at that place that I was at, they were playing that song. You know? And then it's not your usual neighborhood bar. You know what I mean? So it was like, they took over. So RIP to Drizzy in this battle. Yep, the niggas already tweeted just now. Beef's over with. Like that, bro. Listen to us, bro. Battle's over with. It's a win for the culture. Just keep it all waxed. That's what the nigga from TD said. Yeah. Oh, that's what he said? It's not like us, bro. Well, all I know is, Drake, you got 72 hours to respond if this beef is over with. no no drake didn't respond and got over a million dislikes on that actual respond to that not like us nobody with it like that he said um he said something along the lines of uh feeding them stories and him taking the bait and Everybody was like, Dave Chappelle, this nigga is clearly lying. I think even Seth Rogen, bro, fucking Seth. Yeah, Seth Rogen saying that he never in rap heard somebody reply to a diss by pretty much justifying what he was saying. You know what I mean? Nah, but you would lie. The shivers. The shit I hated was Questlove saying that hip-hop was dead. I'm like, nigga, go play some drums. Oh, come on, man. Hey, listen, you ain't about to get me jumped by the roots. Questlove's a hip-hop dude. Nah, because, like, this nigga was... Like, he was the same nigga playing drums while Jay-Z was dissing... What's it called? Remember? On Unplugged. MTV Unplugged. He was playing the drums while Jay-Z was rapping on Blueprint. Oh, and dissing Nas? For the DOA? now remember when um I must have called that had beef naz and jv and then um jay-z well no I'm also called on mbt unplugged and was playing live yeah with the drums so I'm like now you're gonna play some drums and up well I don't know you know he probably said that but most likely like a response to like how people were taking it you know what I mean as in why the hip-hop is dead like I don't know. I know what you come from, but just saying that, you know what I mean? Just trying to, like, justify this, like, I don't know. But it's there. It's just, let's say the way people consume, you know what I mean? Like, you know, what you see on TV, like MTV or whatever. Yeah, that's probably, that's dead. You know what I mean? But we know, you know, Nas still doing his thing. Ghostface just dropped an album today, fucking fire. You know what I mean? They're still doing the thing. You got the West Side Guns. You got Conway. Conway dropped the album today. Yeah, Conway dropped today. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. Hip-hop ain't dead. I want to say that the art form of the beef, because to me, this beef, I ain't going to say we, because I don't want to throw myself or us aside there, but people really wanted some East Coast, West Coast, Tupac and Biggie type shit out of this, and that's what they end up getting. You have people wishing death upon people and things like that. I mean, it didn't make it any worse that you had... uh rick ross sitting there on the sideline like a cheerleader every time kid uh kendrick dropped the track now that what's up too huh the game trying to get yeah yeah nice nice segue I was I was getting ready to get into that so now now you got game this and rick ross hey watch out bro watch out we didn't we didn't open the show talking about game let's keep it a buck and I with game I with game man you should have just you know make some music and not trying to jump it you know take a ride I mean, game ain't going to do its best to stay relevant in any way it come, but I don't think Rick Ross want that B for game because they both got good pin skills, but I don't think Rick Ross is touching game on the pin. What? I don't know, man. Listen, I rock with Ross heavy. The game is that big because, you know, game did his thing with 50, but look right now, who's more relevant? That's because 50's writing TV shows, bro. But that's what I'm saying. Who's more relevant? You know what I mean? I said about music, about relevant, because music, obviously, game is not relevant. You know, when's the last time you, yo, did you hear that new game? Yeah, I'm like, I haven't heard that new game in a long time. I mean, the last one was that one where he had with Kanye. You know, easy. You know what I mean? Yeah. no not jesus peace the one the one that won't be put out with uh oh that one they was dissing um yo all the way from this no no he was dissing them he was dissing um what's his face the one That's right. It was kind of, you know, kind of was this in the comedian, I guess, who took his girl. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Pete Davidson. Pete Davidson. Yeah. This life is never easy. Okay. We got that. And that's it. But also, you know what? This beef don't sprout off another beef. So now Shaq is beefing with Shannon Sharp. Shaq releases this track, man. Yeah, released. Yo, Pops, chill out. But Pops, Pops will release a diss track if you haven't heard it. Imagine not like us, but Afrobeat. listen your ass man now like okay here's my thing with shaq shaq is the most insecure bitter big man because every time he has seen somebody like a big man doing good in the bia he always talks about him who to go bear He said the shit about Jokic. You know, he said he should have won MVP. Then he said the shit about Dwight Howard being Superman. JaVale McGee. It's like every time. And then Kobe even said the nigga was lazy too. Okay. And he could have won more championships. They could have. Shaq came out of his own mouth by admission. I didn't work as hard. I didn't have the same work ethic. And everything like that. And Shannon Sharp was looted in that, and Shaq kind of took that personal. So now we got to distract by Shaq. Let's see what Shannon Sharp does in the meantime. But, I mean, it is what it is, Shaq. I mean, you said it. Shannon Sharp said, you know, he worked, you know, he's like, he wasn't gifted like Shaq. He worked hard to get to where he at, you know, Hall of Fame. And what about Shannon Sharp? Shannon Sharp always give credit to the other tight ends. He said, oh, you better than me at tight end. He gives credit to Antonio Gates and et cetera, et cetera. Shaq don't do that. Shaq's always bitter and be hating. No, he do. Shaq do be hating, but at the same time, Shaq, hey. Tough break, nigga. Got the weak-ass bars, man. Hey, but real talk, who got a better diss track? Shaq or Rikishi Tohoku? Neither. I must follow Bleach. Goddamn, you trying to take yourself to the upper room already? Goddamn. Let's see what else. Moving on from that, inside the rumors and news mail, we also heard this great Great news coming out of the world of wrestling. So we had the announcement this past weekend doing the Kentucky Derby as me and Dom was driving from OWA or driving to OWA, I should say. WrestleMania is going to be in Vegas, Las Vegas, on April 19th and April 20th. Doing East Sunday. On a Sunday. On a Sunday. So we getting ready to see a lot going on, man. O świecie alchemii, zgłębiania marginaliów historii a przede wszystkim ich popularyzowania, opowiedziała Maja Iwaszkiewicz, historyczka sztuki, mediewistka, autorka książki "Sekrety alchemii". Do wysłuchania rozmowy zaprasza Aleksandra Galant.
Welcome to The Nonlinear Library, where we use Text-to-Speech software to convert the best writing from the Rationalist and EA communities into audio. This is: The Humane League - Room for More Funding & 2023 Impact, published by carolinemills on November 17, 2023 on The Effective Altruism Forum. About The Humane League The Humane League (THL) exists to end the abuse of animals raised for food. THL is laser focused on the efforts that have the biggest impact for the greatest number of animals. We are distinguished from other animal welfare organizations by the effectiveness of our corporate campaigns, our unique role as the most aggressive campaigners, and our approach to multiplying our movement's impact globally through the Open Wing Alliance (OWA) and in the US through the Animal Policy Alliance (APA). Our scalable interventions have a proven track record of reducing farm animal suffering - according to a 2019 Rethink Priorities report, our corporate cage-free campaigns affect nine to 120 years of a hens life per dollar spent, and have a follow-through rate of 48%-84% (we've found up to 89% in recent years)[1]. We are proud to be recognized by Animal Charity Evaluators and Founders Pledge as one of the most effective animal protection charities in the world. "While we expect all of our evaluated charities to be excellent examples of effective advocacy, THL is exceptional even within that group. Giving to THL is an excellent opportunity to support initiatives that create the most positive change for animals." - Animal Charity Evaluators, 2023 THL evaluation report Our Strategy & 2023 Impact THL believes in focusing our collective energy where it will do the most good. Since chickens represent 90% of all land animals raised for food, any interventions we make for chickens have the greatest potential impact. And restrictive battery cages - small wire cages used to confine laying hens - are one of the worst sources of suffering for chickens. Ending the battery cage means ending the acute suffering of millions of birds. Holding companies accountable to their cage-free commitments. Thousands of companies around the world have pledged to transition to 100% cage-free, eliminating the practice of confining hens in tiny, barren battery cages. Now, THL is holding these companies accountable, ensuring they keep their promises. Globally, 89% of companies followed through on their 2022 cage-free pledge. And in the US and globally, THL pushed the companies falling behind on their commitments to follow through on their promise. In 2023, THL held 36 companies with global cage-free commitments accountable to reporting progress on their pledges. Companies like Kellogg's, PepsiCo, and Yum! Brands - the world's largest service restaurant company and the parent company of KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell - began publicly reporting on their cage-free commitments. All of this is translating to real change on the ground, with 39.4% of the US egg-laying flock free from cages (over ~120 million hens), up from ~5% when THL began this work in 2014.[3] (Global data is currently unavailable) Progressing the cage-free movement globally. In addition to holding companies accountable for their existing commitments, THL is working to secure new cage-free commitments in key strategic areas around the world. Through the OWA, our coalition of nearly 100 member groups in 67 countries, THL is developing a global movement of effective animal advocates that conduct coordinated international and regional campaigns for layer hen and/or broiler chicken welfare. This year, the OWA pushed 103 global companies to pledge to rid their supply chains of cruel battery cages, including first cage-free commitments from corporations headquartered in Japan, the Middle East, Greece, Ukraine, Peru, Ecuador, South Africa, Argentina, South Korea, and Taiwan. Jollibee Foods Corporation, the largest and fastest-growing restaurant group in Asia, pledged to reform its global supply chain,...
Wykład dr. Piotra Dworczaka, Kawiarnia Naukowa Festiwalu Nauki, 16 listopada 2020 [1h08min] Dr Piotr Dworczak podczas wykładu Kawiarni Naukowej Festiwalu Nauki przybliża słuchaczom, czym zajmowali się w swoich badaniach ostatni laureaci Nagrody Nobla z ekonomii. W 2020 roku profesorów z Uniwersytetu Stanforda – Roberta Wilsona i Paula Milgroma uhonorowano za wkład w rozwój teorii aukcji i jej zastosowania.

"The original wheated bourbon" has been the focal point of our podcast in the past, but we've never rated and reviewed this variant of the Wellerz product line. Weller Antique 107 is somewhat of a modern classic bourbon that is passionately referred to as OWA (old weller antique). While this whiskey is abundant in many states, it seems to be more elusive in Kentucky these days. But is it worthy of the status it has been given in the bourbon community and all the hype? We will give you the definitive answer. Join us this week as Steven returns to action and talks about a recent beer mishap. Other topics include the new Daniel Weller release, the Maker's Cellar Cask release, and many other fun bourbon related banter. Link to bioRxiv paper: http://biorxiv.org/cgi/content/short/2023.04.25.538277v1?rss=1 Authors: Cmentowski, V., D'Amico, E., Ciossani, G., Wohlgemuth, S., Owa, M., Dynlacht, B. D., Musacchio, A. Abstract: Chromosome biorientation on the mitotic spindle is prerequisite to errorless genome inheritance. CENP-E (kinesin 7) and Dynein-Dynactin (DD), microtubule motors with opposite polarity, promote biorientation from the kinetochore corona, a polymeric structure whose assembly requires MPS1 kinase. The corona building block consists of ROD, Zwilch, ZW10, and the DD adaptor Spindly (RZZS). How CENP-E and DD are scaffolded and mutually coordinated in the corona remains unclear. Here, we report near-complete depletion of RZZS and DD from kinetochores after depletion of CENP-E and the outer kinetochore protein KNL1. With inhibited MPS1, CENP-E, which we show binds directly to RZZS, is required to retain kinetochore RZZS. An RZZS phosphomimetic mutant bypasses this requirement. With active MPS1, CENP-E is dispensable for corona expansion, but strictly required for physiological kinetochore accumulation of DD. Thus, we identify the corona as an integrated scaffold where CENP-E kinesin controls DD kinetochore loading for coordinated bidirectional transport of chromosome cargo. Autorzy słuchowiska politycznego „Stan Wyjątkowy” — dziennikarze Onetu Andrzej Stankiewicz i Kamil Dziubka — dobrze znają ten stan Macierewiczowskiej ekstazy, gdy kolejna awantura smoleńska wynosi go na piedestał. To niedopuszczalne” — opowiada Dąbrowski. Wraz z nim odeszli dwaj inni członkowie Zespołu Lotniczo-Nawigacyjnego podkomisji: Wiesław Chrzanowski i Kazimierz Grono. Dlatego to byli eksperci z podkomisji Macierewicza to najpoważniejsi prokuratorzy w oskarżycielskim filmie Świerczka — pokazują skalę manipulacji dokumentami i badaniami, która grozi Macierewiczowi odpowiedzialnością karną. I Macierewicz i Kaczyński mają dla krytyków jedną odpowiedź: jesteście agentami Putina. Ale to już ograny zarzut. Zresztą słyszą dokładnie taki sam zarzut z drugiej strony — i to z coraz poważniejszych kręgów. No i jeszcze taka jedna wątpliwość. Cały odcinek do wysłuchania w aplikacji Onet Audio.

Dlatego to byli eksperci z podkomisji Macierewicza to najpoważniejsi prokuratorzy w oskarżycielskim filmie Świerczka — pokazują skalę manipulacji dokumentami i badaniami, która grozi Macierewiczowi odpowiedzialnością karną. I Macierewicz i Kaczyński mają dla krytyków jedną odpowiedź: jesteście agentami Putina. Ale to już ograny zarzut. Zresztą słyszą dokładnie taki sam zarzut z drugiej strony — i to z coraz poważniejszych kręgów. No i jeszcze taka jedna wątpliwość.

Welcome! Have you ever fought with your spouse when you were hangry? Let's face it- some people can get pretty grouchy when they need something to eat. So if you have something important to discuss and you feel irritable, it is best to wait until you get some food in your system before you dive into the conversation. After a hard day at work When you get home after a hard day at work, and your spouse immediately starts unloading their day on you it can be hard to avoid overreacting. It would be better to spend the first ten to twenty minutes after you walk in chilling out, connecting, and only talking about the good stuff. That will give you the chance to breathe and unwind before discussing anything important. I sometimes do the Tarzan yodel while driving home. It makes me feel much better and helps relieve the stress, pressure, and frustration I am feeling. You can do a couple of Tarzan yodels while driving home or park down the street and do it to decompress before you get home. You could even consider going to the gym on the way home. Whatever you do, make sure that you don't fight or discuss difficult and important topics when you are hangry, frustrated, or in an agitated state. It is all about the outcome you want Try to reach a point in your relationship where you can be vulnerable and still feel connected. Be cool if your partner or spouse needs some time out after a terrible day. If you also had a tough day, giggle and understand that you are both on edge. You can talk later after you have collected yourselves. Give yourself time to think about OWA before you talk: What is the outcome you are seeking? What is the why you want to talk about it? What action will you take to get the outcome you want? It is all about the outcome you want. Don't approach things with an attacking mode your desired outcome is to vent. Just talk about it and express how you feel. Go in with the long term in mind Go into a relationship with a long-term mindset. If you do, it will foster compassion, patience, and understanding. We all mess up at times. So those qualities will allow for some failure in your relationship and give you room to breathe. A long-term mindset and the desire to do what it takes to make your relationship last longer will release you from making excuses to bail out or thinking that you will leave if your partner hurts you or screws up. ***Leave me your feedback. Let me know how you are learning to put aside how you feel, use the 5-second rule, and take action on the things that improve your relationship fitness. Definitions of 'networking' have taken on new meaning and relevance over the past two truly tumultuous years since the pandemic began..The idea of networking doesn't need to be intimidating or 'formalized' but an enlightening, uplifting and reassuring way to learn, gain new perspectives about yourself, and what your work means to you . It's a pattern we're seeing out there, and some agency friends experience in their careers when they make the mistake of putting themselves in this situation. CEOs at young companies hire a marketing leader, usually a woman with substantial experience, and expect her to singled-handedly transform the fate of the organization. And being the "one woman army" is a really difficult position from which to generate success. In a meaningful discussion of recent experiences she's had as a marketing leader, Jenn Edwards takes us through the highs and lows of being the sole marketing pro at a young company, questions to ask and her point of view on whether or not it's a good idea to even take such a position. If you're thinking about a new CMO / head of marketing job and you think you'll be a OWA or OMA, this is probably a great episode to listen to.Let me know what you think! Welcome to The Nonlinear Library, where we use Text-to-Speech software to convert the best writing from the Rationalist and EA communities into audio. This is: Effective Animal Advocacy Resources, published by saulius on the effective altruism forum. This article contains a list of research organizations, newsletters, research libraries, personal blogs, conferences, podcasts, funds, notable written works and other links associated with Effective Animal Advocacy (EAA) movement. The list is biased because I only included resources that I know of. If you think something is missing, please comment. Introductory materials Animal Welfare (article from effectivealtruism.org) Plant and cell based meat (6 min TED talk) Farm Animal Funders briefings (targeted at big funders) Research organizations Here is a list of organizations and departments that publish animal advocacy strategy research: Animal Advocacy Careers - “researching career trajectories and addressing talent constraints in the animal movement”. Animal Ask - founded with the express aim to optimise and prioritise future asks to assist animal advocacy organisations in their efforts to reduce farmed animal suffering. We provide organisations with in-depth research, narrowly targeted at key decisions between different animal asks, supporting organisations, individual activists, policymakers and donors so that they may do more good in the long term. Animal Charity Evaluators (ACE) - charity reviews, intervention reviews, general research, advocacy advice, interviews, and more. Animal Ethics - resources on ethics, sentience, animal exploitation and wild animal suffering. Charity Entrepreneurship - a research and training program aimed at creating multiple high-impact charities. A lot of their 2019 research was about what new animal-focused charities would be the most impactful. CIWF research, CIWF USA research Faunalytics - original research focusing on farmed animal and movement-building topics, a library of lay-friendly summaries of academic research, and one-on-one support for advocates who want help finding data or designing or understanding research. fishcount - estimates of wild-caught and farmed fish numbers, discussion of fish welfare issues. Fish Welfare Initiative - will do research about welfare reforms for fish in the next 5 months. MFA research - evaluations to optimize various advocacy strategies. OpenPhil - the largest funder in farm animal advocacy (~$35 million per year), shares some of its internal research. Rethink Priorities - animal-related research so far focused on neglected groups of animals, corporate campaigns, and wild animal welfare. Sentience Institute - meta-level research for the EAA community. THL Labs - “informing advocacy strategies through actionable research on their effectiveness”. Wild Animal Initiative - “working to understand and improve the lives of animals in the wild.” Previously, it was two organizations: Utility Farm and Wild-Animal Suffering Research. Some of the texts are only available on the websites of these defunct organizations. They merged in 2019. In total, there seem to be about 35 full time researcher equivalents in animal advocacy research space. Note that I excluded organizations like Asia Research and Engagement (ARE), Farm Animal Investment Risk & Return (FAIRR), Centre for Animal Welfare Science Excellence and Animal Welfare Foundation that do or fund animal welfare related research that is not directly about advocacy strategy. I also excluded clean meat research. For incomplete lists of animal advocacy organizations in general see all ACE's charity reviews and a list of OWA organizations. Newsletters Main newsletters: But Can They Suffer - monthly summaries of the most relevant new EAA research. The last three newsletters can be seen here. OpenPhil Farm Animal Welfare Newsletter - original content by OpePhil. All previous newsletters are available in the archive. THL Labs newsletter - updates include monthly summari...

Welcome to the Relationship Fitness Podcast! My purpose in every episode is to help you learn one nugget that can take your relationship to the next level of awesome. Let's talk about what lemons and relationships have in common. What's on the inside comes out We are all faced with stressful situations and competing priorities. Marriage, family, and parenting bring pressure every single day. Jobs, money issues, and raising kids bring pressure from all directions. You know it's true! Here is the truth: what comes out of a lemon when it's squeezed is what is on the inside--lemon juice. Likewise, when your relationship is under pressure, what comes out is the character, abilities, and skillset you have on the inside. Acting and reacting As we grow up, we learn how to deal with stress by watching the grownups in our lives. If we don't have good role models, then we don't understand and experience good relationship skills. Our intentions may be the very best, but we sometimes react in negative ways. How we act is our character, and how we react is the brainwashing from our childhood, whether good or bad. Take a look, and take a step back Start by looking at how you react under the pressure of daily stress. How are these typical reactions working for you? Are your reactions to stress bringing positivity, love, and connection, or are they driving your family apart? If every moment of every evening in your family is spent avoiding communication and togetherness, then you need to make changes. Follow the OWA principle: ask, “What is the outcome that I truly want? What is my WHY? What action can I take to get to the outcome I want?” When you are being squeezed, take five seconds to look inward and ask if you are about to drive a wedge between people. If so, take a step back and aim for connection. Take a time out, and be sure to give your partner the time to step back if they need it. ***Leave me your feedback. Think about your character and what you are displaying in your relationship, and let me know how you are working toward “awesome” with your partner. Improving your relationship fitness and solidifying your relationship legacy WILL make a difference. You are not just raising children, but someone's future spouse and someone's future parent.
