Episode 174 of the Award Travel 101 podcast focused heavily on Hyatt's newly announced award chart changes and how travelers can adapt to them. Cameron Laufer and Mike Zaccheo explained that Hyatt is replacing its traditional fixed categories with a more dynamic five-tier structure across eight hotel categories, resulting in noticeable increases for many properties. Standard award rates are rising roughly 17–38%, while some peak pricing jumps could reach as high as 67%. Although a handful of properties decreased in price, far more increased, especially luxury hotels. The hosts discussed examples like Park Hyatt Siem Reap remaining at 15,000 points per night while Secrets Punta Cana increased slightly from 29,000 to 30,000 points. They also noted positives, including free night certificates remaining valid at top-tier pricing and expanded booking windows for elites and cardholders, while questioning whether Hyatt may quietly shift more nights into higher pricing tiers over time. The episode also covered several loyalty program updates and transfer partner changes. Hilton launched a summer promotion offering 2,000 bonus points for shorter stays and 4,000 for longer stays, while Kimpton introduced its seasonal secret password promotion. The hosts highlighted major transfer partner shakeups, including American Express removing Etihad as a transfer partner in the U.S. They also reviewed transfer bonuses ending soon, including bonuses from Amex to Hilton, Chase to Southwest, and Capital One to Qantas. In the “highlight post” segment, they addressed a listener frustrated with having 193,000 British Airways Avios, emphasizing that Avios become much more valuable when used through partner airlines such as Iberia, Qatar Airways, Finnair, American Airlines, and Alaska Airlines, while reminding listeners that Avios are easy to keep active with occasional account activity. The hosts wrapped up with personal trip updates and practical award travel advice. Mike shared several upcoming trips, including Napa Valley, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Paris, detailing how he pieced together premium cabin flights and hotel stays using a mix of American Airlines, Alaska, Air France, and Hyatt points. Cameron discussed rebooking a tour through a shopping portal for significant cashback and planning logistics for an overnight arrival in Athens after a long economy flight. The episode concluded with a “tip of the week” focused on organizing complex award itineraries using tools like spreadsheets and TripIt to track reservations, monitor schedule conflicts, and simplify “gardening” award bookings over time.Episode Links:Hilton Summer PromoKimpton Secret PasswordAmex drops EtihadHyatt ChangesWhere to Find UsThe Award Travel 101 Facebook Community. To book time with our team, check out Award Travel 1-on-1.You can also email us at 101@award.travelBuy your Award Travel 101 Merch hereReserve tickets to our Late Summer 2026 Meetup in Milwaukee now. award.travel/mke2026Our partner CardPointers helps us get the most from our cards. The Inventive Journey

In this episode of the Inventive Journey podcast, host Devon Miller talks with Michael Timmons, founder of GoodFences.ai, about a career built around solving difficult problems in unexpected places.Michael's journey started in Central Texas, where football taught him teamwork and an early software engineering job introduced him to the power of technology. He went on to earn an aerospace engineering degree from the University of Texas and spent four years working on NASA ground control software for the space shuttle. There, he helped modernize legacy code that traced back to the Apollo era and learned how high-pressure teams make decisions when the mission matters. From NASA, Michael moved into logistics work with American Airlines, where he helped solve complex railroad optimization problems. Later, he reunited with former NASA colleagues and launched a consulting company that ran for 17 years. That business exposed him to national missile defense, energy, insurance, criminal justice, international distribution, and large-scale modernization projects. In other words, Michael did not choose easy puzzles. Easy puzzles apparently did not make the calendar. The idea for GoodFences.ai came from a personal frustration. Michael and his wife bought a home and wanted to install solar panels. They knew the HOA rules, understood the state law, had a vendor selected, and expected the approval to move quickly. Instead, the process dragged on for eight months. Michael eventually joined the HOA board, giving him a front-row seat to both homeowner frustration and board-level inefficiency. That experience revealed a business opportunity. Many HOA architectural requests are repetitive, rule-based, and similar to past approvals. Yet boards, managers, and homeowners often spend hours or months moving them through manual processes. GoodFences.ai was created to automate much of that work, improve consistency, reduce administrative burden, and help communities approve compliant requests faster.Michael also shares practical founder lessons. One of his worst business decisions was buying an expensive tool before the company was ready for it. It looked useful, but timing matters. A powerful tool adopted too early can become a very polished money pit.His rule of thumb for new founders is simple: talk to people. Especially for technical and introverted founders, it is easy to stay heads-down building. Michael argues that conversations are essential because they create feedback, customers, partnerships, introductions, and momentum. This episode is a strong listen for SaaS founders, AI entrepreneurs, HOA professionals, property managers, technical founders, and anyone trying to turn operational frustration into a real company. Michael's journey proves that startup ideas do not always come from glamorous brainstorming sessions. Sometimes they come from trying to install solar panels and realizing the neighborhood approval process needs a software intervention. The most interesting part of Michael's story is that every chapter connects. Aerospace, logistics, missile defense, consulting, and HOA automation all involve systems thinking. They require someone to identify constraints, understand stakeholders, reduce waste, and create a process that works better than the old one. GoodFences.ai is the latest expression of that same skill set, aimed at a market where delays, inconsistent reviews, and volunteer board overload create very real pain. The result is a practical example of AI solving a workflow people actually experience.Learn more about Michael's company at goodfences.ai, and listen to the full episode for a practical look at AI automation, founder resilience, customer discovery, and solving painful business bottlenecks. To chat about this one-on-one, grab a free consult at strategymeeting.com

In Episode 173 of the Award Travel 101 podcast, Angie Sparks and Cameron Laufer covered a wide range of points and miles strategies, starting with two standout community posts. Angie highlighted an important discussion about insuring a complex trip booked across multiple credit cards to maximize welcome bonuses. The group recommended considering a standalone policy through companies like Allianz and using tools such as Squaremouth to compare coverage, while also putting the most expensive trip components on the card with the strongest travel protections. Cameron shared a clever positioning flight success story where a member booked Delta flights to JFK through Air France Flying Blue after transferring Chase points during a transfer bonus, saving a significant amount of points. The discussion also touched on the importance of understanding cancellation fees across different partner programs, with Virgin Atlantic noted as a favorite for inexpensive Delta award cancellations. The episode also covered several major pieces of points and miles news, including Chase's 30% transfer bonus to Southwest, IHG's 100% bonus on purchased points, Citi's 25% transfer bonus to Wyndham, and new Qatar Airways restrictions limiting how many people can be added to family and friends redemption lists. Angie shared a recent Wells Fargo business card approval with a $500 bonus that will help offset a large pool deposit expense, while Cameron discussed receiving his Rakuten-to-Bilt transfer and reminded listeners about the updated earning structure for different Bilt status tiers. The hosts also gave personal trip updates, including Angie's evolving Morocco itinerary and Cameron's plans to lock in Hyatt stays before upcoming program changes while continuing to prepare for Greece travel. The main topic focused on “workhorse cards” — the credit cards the hosts rely on consistently for everyday spending and maximizing rewards. Cameron highlighted favorites like the Chase Ink Cash for 5x office supply spending, the Amex Gold for dining and groceries, the Citi Strata Premier for its broad 3x categories and American Airlines transfers, and even the premium Bilt Palladium setup. Angie discussed cards she uses heavily in rotation, including the Citi Custom Cash for groceries, the Hilton Surpass for earning a free night certificate through annual spend, the Venture and Venture X for simple 2x earning, the Chase Freedom Flex for rotating categories, and the Venmo card for Costco purchases that code as grocery spend. They wrapped up with a practical tip for travelers booking independent hotels abroad: always compare prices across hotel websites, portals, Booking.com, Expedia, Costco Travel, and aggregators like Trivago because rates can vary dramatically.Episode Links:Chase to Southwest BonusIHG Buy points BonusQatar RestrictionsCiti to Wyndham BonusWhere to Find UsThe Award Travel 101 Facebook Community. In Episode 172 of the Award Travel 101 podcast, Angie Sparks and Cameron Laufer opened with a discussion inspired by member Leena's safari planning post, where the community shared advice on destinations, timing, and operators for an unforgettable milestone birthday trip. The conversation reinforced how award travel can make extraordinary journeys — from Bali girls trips to Indian weddings and African safaris — suddenly attainable. The hosts also covered several major news items in the travel space, including changing valuations for Southwest Rapid Rewards points, Rove adding Air Canada Aeroplan as a transfer partner alongside a 25% transfer bonus, and Frontier's promotional offer awarding bonus miles for paid round trips. One of the biggest developments discussed was the shutdown of Spirit Airlines. The episode also included candid updates on the hosts' own award travel strategies and frustrations. Angie detailed multiple recent credit card denials despite having strong justifications for her existing card lineup, leading her to focus more on maximizing current cards rather than chasing new bonuses. Cameron mentioned cancelling a Hawaiian Airlines card for Player 2, while both hosts shared ongoing trip-planning adjustments. Angie successfully rebooked a Morocco flight using American Airlines miles for a better itinerary and leveraged Fine Hotels + Resorts credits for luxury accommodations. Cameron discussed continuously monitoring award space for an Athens trip after dealing with phantom Alaska Airlines availability and frustrating tax refund discrepancies from American Airlines. The main topic featured a “You Asked, We Answer” segment revisiting interesting community questions. Topics ranged from compensation expectations after a large champagne spill in Emirates business class damaged a traveler's electronics, to reactions surrounding Spirit Airlines' collapse and the impact on low-cost flyers in Fort Lauderdale. The hosts also discussed Ethiopian Airlines business class consistency, especially for travelers hoping to avoid outdated aircraft products, and debated whether parents should open rewards cards in their children's names to stockpile points for family travel before stricter “lifetime” bonus rules become widespread. Cameron closed the episode with a practical tip reminding listeners to carefully audit airline refunds after cancellations, noting that while his American Airlines points redeposited correctly, part of the cash refund required manual escalation.Episode Links:Southwest Point ValuationRove Adds AeroplanFrontier PromoSpirit Ends OperationsWhere to Find UsThe Award Travel 101 Facebook Community. To book time with our team, check out Award Travel 1-on-1.You can also email us at 101@award.travelBuy your Award Travel 101 Merch hereReserve tickets to our Spring 2026 Meetup in Phoenix now. award.travel/phx2026Our partner CardPointers helps us get the most from our cards. Behind the Lens: How Klaus de Jong Brings Wine Culture to the World

I have been watching, waiting, watching and waiting again...to talk with Klaas De Jong. He produces some of the most unique and cinematic wine footage in the trade. But it isn't just about the footage, it is the story telling. And he didn't come from the wine side, he is a movie maker who loves wine and he brought the two worlds together. If ever there was a guest who could turn the scrutinizing lens of cinema on a glass of wine, it's Klaus de Jong—part philosopher, part producer, and entirely convinced that the best stories ferment slowly at the intersection of culture and entertainment. You'll leave this episode with the rarest of vintages: the inside track on how wine media is shaped, poured, and served to global audiences, straight from someone who's reimagined vine-to-glass storytelling for the screen. Klaus de Jong unpacks why wine TV shows have long lagged behind food programming, revealing how a cinematic, "Chef's Table" approach finally cracked open the vault, giving rise to serious "edutainment" for wine lovers and professionals alike 02:25. He guides you through the dual headwinds of modern film and the wine trade—the shrinking cinema crowds, the anxious global wine industry, and the high stakes of quality demanded by platforms like Apple TV and American Airlines 09:10. Independence—no sponsors, no advertisements, just stories—remains Klaus de Jong's north star, shaping his work into something both credible and captivating. And through tales of grand cru houses and luxury Champagne brands meeting 21st-century uncertainty 14:07, you'll witness why authentic, rock-and-roll storytelling must replace snobbery if wine is to reach a new, open-minded audience 17:19. There's even a philosophical detour into the very taste experience, courtesy of a Michelin-starred Dutch chef who turns wine pairing—and the traditional swirl-and-sniff routine—on its head 43:29. As Klaus de Jong shares his journey from the Dutch film scene to international streamers, and teases a dramatic English-language feature on the infamous "Sour Grapes" wine fraud, he peels back the curtain on the art, the hustle, and the accidental education that comes with a well-made glass and a well-told story.

In the 1950s, the phrase “women's liberation movement” had yet to be spoken or written. Yet, stewardess and union leader Dusty Roads were already challenging the status quo. She led the fight against American Airlines' discriminatory employment policies, which included firing stewardesses at age thirty-two, banning marriage, and enforcing humiliating girdle checks and weigh-ins. The airlines insisted that stewardesses remain perpetually young, single, and attractive to entice traveling businessmen to buy tickets. These policies were not just about image, they were also about economics, allowing airlines to save on benefits and avoid retirement payouts. Male stewards, notably, were not subject to these same rules.Outraged by this injustice, Dusty vowed to fight back. Although she had been hired before the new age policy and was “grand mothered” in—meaning she was exempt—she felt compelled to stand up for her younger colleagues because it was the right thing to do.In 1958, Dusty became one of the first female lobbyists in Washington, D.C. She became a visual and vocal presence, forging relationships with congressional representatives, senators, aides, and even vice presidents and presidents. Dusty helped draft a bill to overturn the age policy, but the all-male committee dismissed it as “The Old Broads Bill,” and it failed. That moment made her realize she was fighting not just the airline industry, but national gender discrimination.Dusty went on to become the most influential voice in her union. Her story embodies the courage and determination that helped pave the way for a more inclusive and equal society. https://elainerock.com/http://www.yourlotandparcel.org

My guest today on the Online for Authors podcast is Ken Webb, author of the book Trapped in Deception. Ken Webb is a retired U.S. Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel with thirty three years of total service and eighteen years of active duty through mobilizations and deployments. He also spent twenty two years with American Airlines before making a major life transition that led him to relocate to Lima, Peru. There, he focused on personal reinvention, studying Spanish, improving his health, and pursuing the creative work he had long envisioned. His debut crime thriller, Trapped in Deception, launches a developing series shaped by the leadership pressures, complex human dynamics, and lived experiences that defined his career. Ken's writing explores themes of identity, transformation, and moral conflict, bringing authenticity and depth to crime and intelligence fiction. From his home in Peru, he continues to expand the series while advocating for reinvention at midlife and the healing power of storytelling.   In my book review, I stated Trapped in Deception is a crime thriller by Ken Webb. This is a fast-moving novel that captured my attention quickly. The main character, Shawn Larson, is the kind of guy we've all met: good-looking, charismatic, and a complete con-man. We learn right away that he works the scam and is willing to be deceptive for years in order to get the payout. More than that, Shawn is ruthless.   But what happens when he cons the wrong person, and this person, Eddy, realizes he has the chance to get even? That's the story that Ken weaves, and this story takes us from Dallas to Miami to Peru, as Shawn begins his next con.   I especially love how the 'good guys' though good, aren't pristine. They each have a past, and this past isn't always pretty. Ken did a great job pulling me into the story - and leaving just enough room for a sequel! This week on Breaking Battlegrounds, Chuck Warren and Sam Stone are joined by Manhattan Institute Cities policy analyst Santiago Vidal Calvo and Washington Free Beacon editor and Middle East Forum junior fellow Alex Welz, plus a special radio edition of B's Corner true crime. Santiago Vidal Calvo Born in Caracas and now leading the Manhattan Institute's Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) efforts, Santiago opens with an on-the-ground report from Venezuela following the capture of Maduro — including the first American Airlines flight back to Caracas in nearly a decade — and explains why Trump must press for elections in Venezuela before the U.S. midterms if his policy is to survive a potential shift in Congress. He walks through how government agencies have weaponized "privacy" exemptions and bureaucratic stonewalling to block public records requests, and why Manhattan Institute is willing to take these fights to court when ordinary citizens cannot. Santiago then breaks down his Daily Wire piece on New Jersey Transit's $150 train ticket from Penn Station to MetLife for the 2026 World Cup — versus a $60 Uber on the same route — and contrasts New Jersey's mismanagement with Kansas City's pro-tourism approach of expanded bar and restaurant hours. In the second segment, he unpacks Mayor Zohran Mamdani's "racial equity plan" and the redefinition of poverty in New York City through a $150,000 "true cost of living" benchmark — which conveniently labels two-thirds of the richest city in America as unable to afford it, justifying a massive expansion of government with 400 new indicators and 600 goals. Santiago argues the real diagnosis isn't race but housing supply, the rent freeze, and the cost of opening a business. Follow Santiago on X: @SantiVidalC B's Corner B brings the 1981 disappearance and murder of 6-year-old Adam Walsh from a Sears in Hollywood, Florida — a case that took 27 years to officially close, briefly entangled Jeffrey Dahmer as a suspect, and was ultimately tied to serial killer Ottis Toole. Out of unimaginable tragedy, Adam's father John Walsh launched America's Most Wanted, founded the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and helped drive the creation of the Amber Alert system. The team also revisits the era of the Sears catalog and what that brand once meant to American life. Alex Welz, an editor at the Washington Free Beacon and a junior fellow at the Middle East Forum with a master's in national security from the University of Haifa, walks through the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire, why disarming Hezbollah remains a generational challenge despite UN Resolution 1701 and the Taif Agreement. On Iran, Alex argues the regime turned out far less fragile than Venezuela-style optimists hoped, but ballistic missile capacity, the navy, and oil revenues have all been dramatically degraded, and the latest wave of protests could still force a fold. In the podcast segment, the conversation deepens and Alex shares his prediction for where Iran stands by November 2026. Dynamic airline ticket pricing, Blackhawk helicopter altitude instrumentation, a U.S. Government equity position in Spirit Airlines, the NTSB preliminary report on the fatal LGA accident, capacity cuts at airports, AI-enabled ATC, the Digital Tower Technology Coalition, and SpaceX Starlink in-motion aviation plans. Aviation News JetBlue sued over claims it uses customers' personal data to set ticket prices Airline executives have told Congress that personal data is not used to dynamically set ticket prices. However, a complaint has been filed in federal court alleging that JetBlue uses “trackers” and shares data with third parties to dynamically set prices. This stems from an exchange on X where a passenger complained about a ticket price increase and JetBlue responded by saying the passenger should try “clearing your cache and cookies or booking with an incognito window.” JetBlue later stated that the response was incorrect and added that “fares can change at any moment as seats are purchased or as inventory is adjusted based on demand”. Army aviation chief: D.C. crash ‘wasn't about' outdated Black Hawk cockpit At a media briefing on Bell's MV-75 tiltrotor, The Air Current asked the commanding general of Army Aviation, Maj. Gen. Clair Gill, whether last year's fatal midair collision between a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines regional jet changed the Army's thinking about fielding the Black Hawk's partial replacement. Gill answered, “No, it's completely unrelated.” The MV-75 will have “a more advanced cockpit, but the D.C. crash really wasn't about whether or not it was an advanced cockpit or not.” This implied that faulty altimeters and outdated avionics in the accident helicopter did not substantially contribute to the crash. The NTSB found that altitude exceedances on the Washington, D.C., helicopter routes were likely exacerbated by inaccurate altimeters on older UH-60L “Lima” Black Hawks, including the one involved in the crash. Possible Spirit rescue fuels new fears about government involvement in business The Federal government is considering an equity deal to keep Spirit Airlines afloat. Under the proposal, the airline would receive $500 million, providing additional liquidity as Spirit works to emerge from bankruptcy. The U.S. government could own up to 90% of the airline, according to sources. Reportedly, the government would charge Spirit a reasonable interest rate and move to the top of the debtor list. CBS News says, “The loan would be protected by Spirit assets that would exceed the government’s costs, and would provide taxpayers with a warrant — the right to own 90% of the company after it emerges from bankruptcy.” Also, “The Pentagon would use Spirit’s excess capacity for transporting troops, military cargo, or other missions. The airline would then likely be sold to another carrier.” See:  Spirit Airlines nears deal with Trump administration for $500 million rescue package White House mulls using Defense Production Act in Spirit Airlines takeover Ted Cruz pours cold water on Trump administration plan to bail out Spirit Airlines: TERRIBLE idea’ NTSB Report LGA Air Canada Incident [PDF] On March 22, 2026, Jazz Aviation LP flight 646 (operating as Air Canada flight 8646), a CRJ-900, was substantially damaged after it collided with Rescue 35 (R35), an Oshkosh Striker 1500 aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) vehicle, while landing on runway 4 at LaGuardia Airport. The captain and first officer were fatally injured.  Of the 2 flight attendants, 72 passengers, and 2 crew of the ARFF vehicle, 39 were transported to local hospitals with 6 serious injuries reported. The airplane was a Part 129 scheduled flight from Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL), Montreal, Quebec, to LGA. A review of the ASDE-X system data by the FAA determined that the system did not generate an aural or visual alert on the ASDE-X displays in the LGA ATC tower to warn controllers of the potential runway conflict. FAA orders Chicago O’Hare International Airport to cut over 300 planned flights daily between May and October The FAA is ordering flight reductions at Chicago O’Hare International Airport over the summer travel season. 3,080 daily flights were scheduled for peak summer days in 2026. Now O’Hare flights will be restricted to 2,708 per day from May 17 to Oct. 24. This change is motivated by capacity and operational delay concerns. The FAA said it intends to bring in more air traffic controllers, speed up controller training, reduce delays by optimizing routes and airspace, and increase communication between the agency, the airport, and airlines during high-risk periods. FAA quietly developing AI enabled air traffic management system The Strategic Management of Airspace Routing Trajectories (SMART) is an artificial intelligence-powered software tool designed for air traffic management. People familiar with the project say it could fundamentally change how the U.S. airspace system operates. Palantir, Thales, and Airspace Intelligence (ASI) are competing on the initiative. Operational start could be as early as later this year. The system could enable the FAA to plan for bottlenecks and anticipate schedule conflicts before an aircraft even leaves the ground. This contrasts with today’s human-centric, reactive ATC structure. Digital Tower Technology Coalition Pushing Remote ATC The Digital Tower Technology Coalition “is an alliance of stakeholders advocating for the FAA's implementation of the digital tower program, as outlined in the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024. By leveraging U.S. airports, regional partners, air traffic controllers, original equipment manufacturers, and federal partners, our coalition seeks to ensure an efficient and transparent process while strengthening U.S. global competitiveness in cutting-edge aviation technology.” See the Press Release: Introducing the Digital Tower Technology Coalition, Representing Bold Commitment to Innovation in Effort to Modernize U.S. Aviation [PDF] SpaceX Cuts Starlink Aviation Prices – New GA Plans Start at $200/Month When SpaceX imposed a 100 mph speed cap on all non-aviation plans, general aviation pilots were forced to switch to more expensive aviation-specific tiers. That generated an outcry from the flying community, including a petition with over 9,500 signatures. GA pilots had been using Starlink Roam for $50 per month with a 100GB data cap. Now SpaceX has made some changes to its in-motion aviation plans. Aviation 300MPH is renamed General Aviation Local 50GB, the price is lowered to $200 per month (from $250), and the monthly data limit is increased to 50GB (from 20GB). Additional data can be purchased in 50GB blocks for $25 (from $10 per GB). The Aviation 450 MPH plan is now General Aviation Global 50GB, which is still $1,000 per month, but the monthly data cap has been increased to 50GB (from 20GB). Additional data can be purchased in 50GB blocks for $100 (from $50 per GB). Today's Headlines: Trump announced a 10-day Lebanon-Israel ceasefire, claimed the Iran war is "going swimmingly," and said Iran agreed to hand over nuclear material — which Iran has not confirmed. The head of the International Energy Agency warned Europe has roughly six weeks of jet fuel left due to the Strait of Hormuz situation, with possible flight cancellations and energy shortages ahead. Congress failed for the third time to pass a War Powers resolution to curb the Iran war, this time losing 214-213. At $10 billion a week, the White House budget director refused to say how much the war will cost, explaining that costs "fluctuate." It was a full day of congressional hearings. RFK Jr. faced the first of seven back-to-back days of testimony. Trump nominated an actual doctor — a 24-year public health veteran — to lead the CDC, which is genuinely surprising. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll testified that he pushed back against Hegseth's general-firing spree, with Republicans on the committee taking his side. Pete Hegseth quoted Pulp Fiction instead of the Bible at a Pentagon prayer service. Budget director Russell Vought testified that DHS is "disintegrating." ICE deported 442,000 people last year, but only 38% had any kind of criminal record — pending charges included.Minnesota prosecutors charged a federal ICE agent with assault for pointing his gun at drivers on a state highway — the first case of its kind, with 17 more incidents under review. An 86-year-old French widow of an American military veteran has been in ICE detention since April 1st, after missing an immigration appointment while settling her late husband's estate — reportedly tipped off by his son over an inheritance dispute. A judge blocked above-ground construction on Trump's White House ballroom pending congressional authorization, though underground bunker work continues. His 250-foot DC arch cleared a federal design review despite massive public opposition. Spirit Airlines could liquidate as early as this week. United Airlines' CEO pitched Trump on merging with American Airlines — which would control nearly 40% of the global airline market. Democrats won New Jersey's special election by 59 points.
