Today I am interviewing Michelle Seiler Tucker who is Founder and President of Seiler Tucker. Michelle shares her wisdom of many years of advising and helping to scale and sell businesses. Michelle has released a new book called Exit Rich with 6 P's method (#1 People, #2 Product, #3 Process, #4 Proprietary, #5 Patrons and #6 Profit) we focused on People & Product in this episode. Within people is to ensure that you have all the right people in the right roles, not only for now but have a future view as well. You can't sell a business if it's 100% dependent on you. Business owners and leaders need to focus on their strengths, hire out their weaknesses, and focus on the right area. The goal is to grow a business that can be run by the people around you. Product is all about making sure you continually innovate and market your business, don't be a Blockbuster and be complacent, always look for ways to meeting the needs of your customer or clients. Create a mindset in the business for innovation, of pushing the boundaries, pushing so much that you fail. The first Rewind the Clock of the season is here! Josh Gryniewicz is here to teach you the basics of storytelling, the powers of storytelling, what's new since his first episode aired, including now offering Disruptive Story Mapping for clients in the mental wellness and population health space, and much more. Tune-in to get started.Storytelling is a part of every business, and today's guest helps you leverage this into a skillset. His company has evolved heavily and that holds a lot of lessons learned for you, the listeners.Episode #166 of "That Entrepreneur Show" https://www.VincentALanci.com/.Each week, the founder of a company or brand shares what worked for them, what they needed to improve on, and all of their learning lessons along the way.Meet Gryniewicz:A little over a decade ago, working as a health communicator on a paradigm-changing project, I began to see story as critical to system change. I went back to grad school to study narrative formally while continuing to work professionally in public interest communication on a range of issues. Since that initial experience, I have worked in social change and health communication as a storyteller. I have helped shape and share stories for social justice, public safety, racial equality, health equity, universal health coverage, mental health advocacy, and more. Issues are messy, but narrative gives us the structure to reimagine what's possible and see solutions. In 2018, I launched Odd Duck, a boutique communication consultancy specializing in storytelling and content development. Welcome to USAV Bandwidth, a show hosted by Chris Salazar-Mangrum, Vice President of USAV and Patrick Whipkey, Director of USAV, to share their expertise and have insightful conversations with professionals from the AV industry. What does it take to partner internationally? While some small and mid-sized firms don't necessarily have the resources to go and serve their clients locally in another country, there are ways to manage new markets that are driven by platforms willing to simplify their integration. To understand the value of networking, our guests Andy Tan from TSI APAC and Max Jaramillo from ConsorcioTec talk about the advantages of connecting with new hubs that provide solutions and quality support beyond the boundaries set by the pandemic, as well the keys to establish a complete partnering program. This kind of collaboration is meant for sharing best practices and trying new things when working with one another. Jump straight into: (01:03) - Enabling projects based in Latin America and APAC - “We are offering this opportunity by building a group of independent contractors and integrators in this region, expanding the opportunities in terms of business referral.” (5:38) - International partnering network development process - “One of the advantages of working with one of our members is that as you mentioned, they already are tied into the vendor community as well”. (9:34) - How the pandemic changed the partnering strategy worldwide - “Now we have international guys partnering together because they can't cross country borders.” (13:41) - What does it mean to build a strong network - “It's not just doing the project. It's maintenance, it's backup services. It's first responders.” Connect with Andy through https://www.linkedin.com/in/andy-tan-cts/ (LinkedIn) Connect with Max through https://www.linkedin.com/in/maxjaramillo?miniProfileUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_miniProfile%3AACoAAAFPbBUBdSeVp-jW8ENcUVp8kObDbAQ6bXY&lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_search_srp_people%3Bwpkx8dVsTtqRapiuR9cRYQ%3D%3D (LinkedIn) Thanks for tuning in!
