Now that the Seattle Seahawks know they'll be without star OLB Uchenna Nwosu for a matter of weeks, they can adjust their roster accordingly before the official cutdown to 53 players by Tuesday's deadline. They took one step towards protecting themselves today by acquiring OLB Trevis Gipson from Jacksonville. What's still unknown is whether Nwosu will need to be placed on IR, which would require him to miss at least 4 games. I'll react to this news, as well as a couple new lists from ESPN and the Athletic. Where do the Seahawks players rank on ESPN's Top 100 players list and Mike Sando's QB tiers? I'll get into it. Locked On Chargers - Daily Podcast On The Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles allowed defensive coordinator Renaldo Hill to take a demotion in Miami, but it could be a blessing in disguise. Hill may have saw the writing on the wall in LA, or maybe the Chargers will get more from new DC Derrick Ansley. After failing to get the most out of a defense with stars like Derwin James and Joey Bosa, a change felt necessary. The team did move extremely fast to promote Ansley after his impressive work in the secondary. Can his track record of development spread throughout the rest of the defense? The Chargers also promoted Tom Donatell into a new role as secondary coach and passing game coordinator. After receiving interest from other teams, Los Angeles seemed eager to lock his services down with a bigger role. Australia's AVOD wars are heating up. Foxtel Media boss Mark Frain reckons “tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars” will move in the next 12-18 months. User experience will win, making ad loads and frequency capping a key battleground. Razorfish boss Jason Tonelli warns that presents a new problem for publishers: As users hop from one service to the other, how will BVOD and AVOD players collectively manage frequency capping? “That will be the next frontier”. Brands are hungry to test the waters, adds Tonelli, with early adopters lenient on measurement. But down the track, measurement will need to be robust. “Is it OzTam or not? That is a debate we have to have.” Foxtel's Frain says sitting outside of OzTam hasn't stopped Foxtel writing revenue on Kayo. Ultimately, per Tyler Fitch, head of Advanced TV & Partnerships at Tubi – which has amassed 50m AVOD subscribers – breadth of content, personalisation and UX will determine winners from losers. He thinks the former SVOD purists that once “scoffed” ad ad-funded models have some hard lessons ahead.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

1) Yield To The Holy Spirit - Yielding to the leading of the Holy Spirit is not a passive thing. It is active and it requires you to surrender your will For His Will. David did as the Lord commanded him, which brings us the second thing we must do to catch the Wind of the Spirit. 2) Obey the leading of the Holy Spirit. - The Lord told David to MOVE QUICKLY once he “heard” the sound of marching. (What is also interesting regarding how God moved in those days was the story of Elijah - and when he prayed for the drought to end. 1 Kings 18:41 “ go eat, and drink, for I Hear the sound of a heavy rain”)

Act 10:42 KJV And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. Quick is synonymous of being alive or lively!!! Paying attention being apt and ready, eager, alert, at attention, focused, Courageous!!! A lot of us are slow of heart to believe! God is looking not just for us to believe but for us to move quickly in our faith to do what he requires of us. If we wait too long doubt can creep in. If we wait too long we might miss the blessing and have to redo the lesson or may die in our sin without the change that God had for us all because we didn't move quickly. The quick(alive) and the dead if you were in combat in a war you would have to make a split second decision on what to do to avoid being a target of an unruly weapon. Well same in the Spirit. Act 10:38-43 ISV 38 God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and because God was with him, he went around doing good and healing everyone who was oppressed by the devil. 39 We are witnesses of everything Jesus did in the land of the Jews, including Jerusalem. “They hung him on a tree and killed him, 40 but God raised him on the third day and allowed him to appear— 41 not to all the people, but to us who were chosen by God to be witnesses and who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 He also ordered us to preach to the people and to testify solemnly that this is the one appointed by God to be the judge of the living and the dead. 43 All the prophets testify to this: everyone who believes in Jesus receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” So you see we have a mandate of God from Jesus after God rose him from the dead to preach is word. Preaching doesn't always have to look traditional and be in a church on a pulpit. It can you talking on the phone to someone and you being a witness of Jesus telling that person about how great Jesus is and what he has done and he will do when he returns. Praying for folks that their faith fail them not. We have a responsibility to use the gifts God gave us for him. Whatever you are into make sure it lines up with God's will and make sure folks know you are a witness not for your Glory but for the Glory of God and to help spread the gospel of Jesus. He is coming back and he will judge those alive when he returns and those that are dead. So look alive and move quickly!!! While we are on our journey we have to remember that we don't have to fight our battles like the world does because 2 Corinthians 10:4 KJV(King James Version) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 ISV(International standard version) 3 Of course, we are living in the world, but we do not wage war in a world-like way. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not those of the world. Instead, they have the power of God to demolish fortresses. We tear down arguments 5 and every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive in order to obey the Messiah. 6 Once your obedience is complete, we will be ready to reprimand every type of disobedience. In otherwords we are fighting in a war where our real emeny is invisible; we cant see all that he is up to. Which means we have Spiritual warfare going on. God has given us his Word as our weapon to fight anything that would even but try to come up against God's Word. But if we tend to drag our feet to get with God we might miss out on our safety in the middle of battle. God's Word will not work for us if we don't know it! Gods word wont work for us if we don't use. You have to Know his word to use it. Hebrews 4:12 KJV “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 NI --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/courageous-beauty/message
The new Police Minister hopes to produce a package of options to tackle gang problems in coming weeks.Chris Hipkins picked up the portfolio last week after Poto Williams.Gang tensions have been surging in Auckland, with a series of drive by shootings - alongside a plague of ram raids by very young offenders.Hipkins told Heather du Plessis-Allan they want to move quickly.“We are looking at the moment around what the legislative settings are to make sure that the police have got all of the legal options that will usefully help them to crack down on the harder end of criminal offending, particularly around organised crime.”He says they'll start by looking at young people who aren't engaged in education, employment or training.“That number of young people has been growing in recent years. If we get them re-engaged, we know they're less likely to find themselves on a pathway that leads them to further trouble.”LISTEN ABOVE

Common Sense, something many think they have, is a subjective thing, and surprisingly rare. I have, however, been fortunate enough only recently to have been exposed to this rare commodity when I heard Saul Griffith speak in Melbourne as a part of the National Sustainable Living Festival and then read the latest book from the chief economist at The Australia Institute, Richard Denniss. The book, "Big: The Role of the State in the Modern Economy", is really just an essay, but packed into its less than 100 pages (and small pages at that) is boundless common sense about shaping Australia's economic future. Regular listeners to the ABC's RN Breakfast program will be familiar with the voice of Matt Bevan, which has been absent for a couple of months now he has been putting together the new podcast, "Australia, if You're Listening?"; a podcast that takes an in-depth look at Australia and the climate crisis. The practical, intellectual, emotional and physical experience surrounding the climate crisis has produced for many a certain "climate anxiety" and that is being looked at by The Conversation again through a podcast - "Ten years to 1.5°C: how climate anxiety is affecting young people around the world – podcast". Other Quick Climate Links for today are: "The business leaders who love cycleways and public transport"; "Storm Franklin: ‘danger to life' flood warnings in Shropshire and Worcestershire"; "The Politics of Science"; "Germany needs a more joined-up climate diplomacy strategy"; "Move quickly and make small changes: how to reduce the impact of your polyester clothes"; "The way we use air conditioning is changing, and it's time we talked about it, expert says"; "Some Coalition MPs say that arson is mostly to blame for the bushfire crisis. Congress passed and President Biden signed the $2 trillion American Rescue Plan Act. How will it affect your organization? In this episode of Netsmart CareThreads, Tom Herzog, Chief Operating Officer for Netsmart, and Kevin Scalia, EVP, Corporate Development at Netsmart Technologies, discuss this significant legislation. What's included in it? What does it provide for the human services and post-acute provider communities we serve? Here's what Tom and Kevin talked about: - Funding and grant opportunities for human services and post-acute care providers in the American Rescue Plan Act. - The impact of COVID-19 on the scale of this legislation. - How Netsmart collaborated with leading industry associations to build a common agenda to highlight the funding needs of providers who need technology as the bridge to fully integrate with other key components of the healthcare ecosystem. - Potential future legislation with levels of funding that could fundamentally change the way Netsmart clients deliver Home and Community-Based Services. - Move fast: Some providers wait too long to put together a business plan and strategy. Lots of money being allocated, it will be spent fast. Also non-traditional competitors are moving into the space. - Think big: Look beyond vertical thinking like opening new facilities…to horizontal thinking like how to leverage current service lines and expertise in new settings This discussion with Kevin Scalia was taken from our show Netsmart Care Threads. One of the very few things that’s actually been pretty good about our current state is that the ability to watch new movies has become more democratic. Of course, I’m of the opinion that all movies are better on a big screen, so I’m definitely not saying what we’ve got right now is better, but because high profile film festivals have had to get creative, some of them have made their movies accessible to people everywhere.

Special guest Mary Jane Burke, Marin County Superintendent of Schools, describes how schools, community organizations and local government agencies are stepping up together in a powerful way to meet the needs of children and families. Marin County was one of the first regions to establish an emergency pop-up childcare program to support essential workers at a time when school campuses and regular childcare facilities are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Marin sprang into action even before Gov. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order on April 4 to help facilitate expanded access to these types of childcare facilities. What key steps did the partners in Marin County take? And what are some early lessons learned? Are you new to real estate investing? Do You Know How To Recognize A Wholesale Real Estate Deal? If you do, then you should be willing to act (very quickly) when you see it. The first step for new real estate investors is to make sure that you know how to tell a good wholesale real estate deal from a bad one. Too many beginners don't the difference. Knowing the difference between a wholesale real estate deal and a dud is the basics of this business. You should learn what a wholesale real estate deal is for your market if you don't already know it. In this video I talk about the concept of "you eat what you kill" and having the "killer instinct". I learned both of these from my mentor. At the Wholesaling Real Estate Boot Camp, I use an analogy of a lion walking in the jungle that hasn't eaten in two weeks. If that lion were to see a deer, it wouldn't think about whether or not it should eat that deer. It would just eat it. As an investor you need to be like that lion. If you see a good wholesale real estate deal, then you should pounce on that deal just like that lion would pounce on that deer. You shouldn't hesitate for even a second. If you do, someone else will grab it. For example a student of mine wanted to go and look at a house. But they couldn't get off of work. Someone else bought the house that same day (an hour later). If you want the real juicy wholesale real estate deals then you are going to need to move quickly when you see them. You won't always have the luxury of time (most of the good deals you will need to make a split second decision - virtual wholesaling) If you don't act fast, your competitors will beat you out every single time. Would you pick up a $100 bill off the sidewalk? How about a $20 or a $5? What about a quarter? Well good deals could have YOUR ANNUAL SALARY in equity so you need to be aggressive and ACT FAST to grab the best deals. If you don't want that $30,000 or more in equity in your bank account someone else will. So when you see a deal, if it looks like a deal, and it is a deal them MOVE QUICKLY and have that killer instinct. In order to move quickly and pounce like this, you need to be able to recognize a deal when you first see it. You will need to know your target market (your city you are focusing on) very well. You will need to know prices per square foot for wholesale real estate and for retail real estate in your target market. You would need to know the after repair value (ARV) and what it would cost to repair the house. You need to know what investors would pay to BUY that house and you need to know what investors could SELL that house for after it has been fixed up. You should have a "buy zone" that other realtors and wholesalers know, so that you can have a constant stream of potential deals to look at. For example in the house in this video, in this city, my "buy zone" is $80,000 to $90,000 (for a 2 bed 1 bath) and $100,000 to $120,000 (for a 3 bedroom 2 bath). That's because I know I can sell 2/1's for $130,000 to $140,000 and I know I can sell 3/2's for $180,000 to $190,000. Do you know your target market city that well? If you do then start acting fast and learn how to take down deals before your competitors by having that killer instinct. This applies regardless of whether you want to wholesale, buy and hold or fix and flip houses.
