If it feels like your sales strategy isn't working like it used to, you're not imagining it. A lot of business owners are getting stuck after years of doing the same thing over and over again. In this episode, Kelly breaks down why selling in 2025 looks dramatically different – and what you need to do about it. She explains how consumer behavior has shifted back to relationship-driven buying cycles, and why traditional Internet marketing tactics are falling flat in today's economy. From building your Dream 1,000 to using trust-building offers to lead buyers into your high-ticket programs, Kelly shares the exact strategies her team is using to increase launch conversion rates and decrease ad spend. If you want your business to grow in a slower economy, this episode gives you the playbook. Key Takeaways: Sales has slowed, but that doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. The entire market is recalibrating. The fast-buying era of Internet marketing is over. People are making slower, more intentional buying decisions, especially at the mid and high ticket levels. Relationship-driven selling is back. What worked offline for decades is what will win online today: top-of-mind awareness, strategic follow-up, and trust. Start building your Dream 1,000. A segmented, documented list of ideal buyers, affiliates, and collaborators that you follow up with every 10 days. Use a low-ticket, trust-building offer. Get your best buyers into a paid experience where they can get a fast win, and start building rapport before your main offer. Raising your prices isn't a one-size-fits-all fix. Elevating your avatar takes time. Most businesses right now – large and small – are buying slower and more cautiously. Simplify to multiply. Trim expenses, focus on your most profitable team members, and hone the non-AI skills that set your brand apart. As people around the world waited for the announcement of a new US president, Sam Sutton, the author of Politico's Morning Money newsletter – which goes out daily around 5AM – was hard at work preparing three different newsletters covering the various potential outcomes (Trump win, Harris win, or too close to call). Needless to say, he only needed one of those, and since that time he has been hard at work trying to provide insights to readers about how Trump 2.0 will impact the economy, the regulatory environment, trade policies, crypto and more. On this episode of Press Profiles, Sam gives a pretty good idea of what we can expect. He also talks about his path to journalism, his flirtation with politics and why at the end of day he decided, “it was a lot more fun to cover these people than to be one of these people.”

In the impact space, there is often pressure to work for free or support every cause. You can easily find yourself having to make tough decisions about which projects to take on. Our guest, Rebekah Miel of Miel Creative, will share practical tips pulling from years of experience about how she has managed these experiences, lessons she has learned the hard way, what she learned about how to avoid the overwhelm, and how to make decisions that still align with your values. “In my younger years, I aspired to changing the world. Then reality kicked in, and I settled for 500 square feet.” - Betty Soskin, 102 year old, retired park rangerIn their career, Rebekah Miel has had the good fortune of being able to travel around the globe to hear the stories of frontline community members impacted by everything from climate change to natural disasters to harmful industry. As an empath and an impact-focused entrepreneur, it can be overwhelming. There are too many directions to go in. While it is a noble pursuit to want to change the world, it's important to recognize that making an impact often starts with small, intentional acts close to home. Rebekah notes: "The question I find myself asking over and over is: how can I create change in my industry while staying true to my values? It's not about the size of the impact I make, but the depth and authenticity of it. A common mistake I see is the belief that impact has to be massive to be meaningful. This often leads to burnout or a sense of inadequacy when the reality doesn't meet the ideal. What I want people to understand is that focusing on smaller, manageable projects can often lead to more sustainable and genuine impact. True change is a collective effort, and sometimes the best thing we can do is inspire and empower others to take action alongside us. Other times the best thing is simply show up and listen." Rebekah Miel is that lone pair of headlights driving in the opposite direction during a hurricane evacuation. You'll no longer find her sweating through a Tyvek suit in the lower 9th or eating curry in a refugee camp in Unawatuna, but that doesn't mean she is any less risk-averse. These days she's balancing the death-defying feat of raising pre-teen twins with the act of listening hard for how to be a good citizen in her adopted hometown of Durham, NC. Her current job title is Creative Director of her own creative shop, Miel Creative where she helps make beautiful sense out of a complex world for B corps, non-profits, and other purpose driven organizations. https://mielcreative.com/https://www.linkedin.com/in/rebekahmiel/:#BCorp #BeTheChange #BeautifulSense #TheHardSkills #OrganizationalImpactTune in for this empowering conversation at TalkRadio.nyc

Long before New Mexico ever made it on the map as a top 10 dairy state, one family packed their bags like pioneers and headed East - from California to Clovis. Eric Palla was just a small boy at the time, as his father Wayne staked out a dairy and a dream that today includes 11,000 cows across three facilities, with two located in New Mexico and one in west Texas. And that ‘s not all. In addition to the dairy, the family also farms 15,000 acres and operates a 1,300-head cow-calf herd. What were the 3 best business decisions for Palla Dairies in the past 10 years? We sit down with Eric Palla today to find out on the Uplevel Dairy Podcast. We are talking growth, scaling and diversification with Eric Palla, including core business philosophies and high-impact actions, like: Consolidating operations for efficiency Hiring an operations manager Raising their own replacements on site, combined with using genomic selection to drive their beef-on-dairy breeding strategy This episode is brought to you by Zoetis. Ihr seid bei "On the Way to New Work" – heute mit Marco Peters.
If I tell you you must scale your personal brand for your social enterprise to grow, would you know where to start?Today, I'm excited to be joined by Dylan Vanas. On paper, Dylan is the Founder of one of the most successful SaaS companies, Agency Box, and the co-founder of Mindful Agency, yet as you'll see during this interview, he's much more than that. He has been featured on Fox, ABC, and Yahoo, has his own column at Entrepreneur.com, and is a successful two-time eight-figure entrepreneur. As creators of our organization, as the face of it, we are the brand; we are, by definition, a personal brand. Regardless of how massive a company is, people resonate with people, which explains why people like Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos have bigger followings than their companies, which is why they are famous in the first place. This marketing principle also applies to social impact businesses and their founders; focusing on building a solid personal brand is a non-negotiable.Tune in and listen to the forty-ninth episode of Avant-garde Entrepreneur. You'll hear Dylan's tips and advice to build a robust personal brand, learn the differences and links between a business and a personal brand, and learn how to use your personal brand to scale your impact business. You've heard it said that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. In a way, it is true. Mothers – and fathers – have a great impact on our nation as they teach and train their children. All great leaders were once children, and the impact of parents in a child's life is immeasurable. Our young people suffer when they are allowed to be grown up children instead of adults, and our culture suffers when parents do not take on the responsibilities of preparing children for adulthood and being active citizens to protect liberty so their children may flourish in freedom. Many parents are becoming involved in politics as they watch our nation decline, and it is having a huge impact on business and politics, affecting public policy at all levels of government. Linda's guest, Amber Infusino, was an average mom – not unlike millions of other parents – who didn't pay much attention to politics or policy. A night of violence and months of unrest in her local community awakened her to accept her responsibility as a parent and community member to get involved in solutions to promote healing and a positive path forward.
