Abschließend diskutieren wir "The Platform 2" (2024).

@PhilTheFilipino is back with his monthly series titled, "Netflix & Phil"! For these episodes, Phil recommends different shows that you'll find on streaming sites like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. This month, surprise surprise, we're back on Apple TV lol. This time to recommend the outstanding Sci-Fi-Drama, For All Mankind.Synopsis: In an alternate timeline in 1969, Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov becomes the first human to land on the Moon. This outcome devastates morale at NASA, but also catalyzes a U.S. effort to catch up. With the Soviet Union emphasizing diversity by including a woman in subsequent landings, the United States is forced to match pace, training women and minorities who were largely excluded from the initial decades of U.S. space exploration.

This week on Geek Force, the Squad discusses Disney+'s new "Star Wars: Rogue One" prequel show, "Andor". They also examine and talk about all the exciting content that was presented at Netflix's Tudum event - updates about new seasons of "The Witcher" and "You" to new movies "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" and "They Cloned Tyrone" starring John Boyega. And finally, Cat and Eming look at episode 5 of "House of the Dragons" - where Rhaenyra and Laenor wed. Let's just say it was a very tame wedding, by Westerosi standards.
A Thinking Thread. This sci-fact, thought-provoking audio drama is adapted from a short story by award-winning British writer Deryn Pittar, and told by Esther Luttrell. The fashion industry is always looking for something new; a cloth to surprise the world and delight the wearer, a fabric that handles and drapes with style and elegance. Jessica hopes their latest creation will save the family's fashion business. Their researchers have created a ‘thinking thread' and a walk in the rain was intended to test its capabilities. What no one anticipated was for artificial intelligence to have a will of its own. From Mojave Beach Productions' Saratoga Theater. Music credits and appreciation to Fesliyan Studios and Pixabay.
