In this podcast, we explore the growing health movement and the urgent need to reform our food systems. As a long-time advocate for ancestral health, we discuss the concerning influence of corporate interests and flawed medical narratives. We delve into the dangers of seed oils, which disrupt cellular function and mitochondrial health, causing metabolic issues. I share a strategy for detoxing seed oils quickly using a low linoleic acid diet. We also emphasize the importance of natural light, grounding, and ancestral practices, aligning with our evolutionary biology for optimal health.I share my 2025 "ins and outs," prioritizing real foods like meat, organs, fruit, honey, and raw dairy while minimizing EMF exposure. I advocate for whole, unprocessed foods and caution against trends like methylene blue. For me, it's always meat, organs, fruit, honey, and raw dairy – an ANIMAL-BASED diet, which I believe is optimal. This inspiring conversation encourages personal responsibility, questioning norms, and reclaiming our radical health.--- --- ---00:00 Introduction to Reposted Podcast00:30 Seed Oil Detox & 2025 Changes01:07 Dr. Saladino on Cultural Health Movement01:38 2025 Health Predictions03:55 Political Momentum for Health Change06:37 Simplifying Food Choices & Ingredients10:54 Food Addiction & Processed Foods13:33 Food as Fuel vs. Harmful Addiction17:41 Discerning Food from Poison21:49 Misalignment of Genetics & Modern Food23:55 Challenging Beliefs & Neurobiology27:38 Benefits & Science of Creatine32:17 The Harms of Seed Oils42:40 Mechanistic Damages of Seed Oils54:44 Detoxing Seed Oils1:03:59 Light Diet & Cellular Health1:07:44 Reconnecting to Ancestral Roots1:11:47 Paul's In's & Out's for 20251:17:13 One Trend Paul Would Like to Die1:20:09 Paul's Parting Words & 2025 Projects--- --- ---DISCLAIMERDr. Paul Saladino received his medical degree from the University of Arizona Medical School. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Who wants more sustained ENERGY in Midlife in 2025?? It's officially the first week of January, and I know so many of us are feeling excited about new beginnings. A new year means a fresh start. New possibilities. New chances. But if you're anything like the women I work with, you might also feel the weight of past resolutions that didn't quite stick. Maybe some guilt? Frustrations? Here's the thing.. this episode isn't about New Year's resolutions. Nope, I don't believe resolutions work anyway and they can be very overwhelming. It's about why waiting for the “perfect time” to focus on your health doesn't serve you... and why tracking simple things like your food, energy, sleep, digestion and mood can be a powerful first step to feeling better and having more energy in this midlife season. Today we are diving into simple health tracking to help you boost energy but also learn to listen to your body more. Honestly, there is no “perfect time” to begin tracking your health. Jan 1st isn't the perfect time, when you get a health scare isn't the perfect time… there is NO perfect time…. You just have to DECIDE that you are going to start tracking for your health. Period. A decision. SO today DECIDE to ditch the delay... and begin to track your health SO THAT you can boost your energy and feel so much better in your whole health. Midlife for women is a season where your body feels like it's shifting in ways you don't always understand, right? Maybe you've been struggling with low energy, brain fog, or mood swings. Maybe you've tried different diets or routines, but nothing seems to stick. Maybe your sleep is consistently disrupted and you never feel rested in the morning. Tracking your health in a journal is a great way to learn to listen better to what your body is telling you. (Cuz it's always telling you something!) Decide today is the day, no matter how many times you have tried journaling or tracking your health in the past, that you will commit to yourself in this very important manner. I pray this blesses you and moves you to action today and into the new year! XO, Michelle ****When you're ready to fix your fog & fatigue so that you can have energy + desire again...without the overwhelm & stress of figuring it out on your own.... schedule your Fatigue Freedom Call NOW! Georgi is a dear friend of mine and today, I am sharing a raw and honest conversation I had with her about her history with her health. She talks about her love for wine to now, not drinking for 6 months. She talks about her relationships, where they were going and how things are now. She went from being told she needed a slew of medications, to losing 45 pounds over the span of 8 months. We are WAY MORE than the number on the scale. That should be clear and made clear. However, so much can change in our lives when we FEEL better and Georgi, DOES! It took 1 decision to start and a million steps forward. I couldn't be happier for her! Welcome back to Manifest with Tori DeSimone! Today, Tori talks about how summer is in full swing and that it's important for us to truly embrace this current season of life. In order to start or continue living an active lifestyle this summer, some of her basic wellness and general health suggestions will make all the difference. If you're feeling sluggish, in a slump, or just want to enjoy summer to the fullest, check out these 5 techniques that you can start now to improve your mood and energy. A body in motion always feels better physically and mentally, don't forget that! LTK: https://www.shopltk.com/explore/Toridesimone Hair care: https://liketk.it/4e9dt LMNT: https://liketk.it/4e9f2 Summer morning: https://liketk.it/4e9jr Nick Bare episode: https://open.spotify.com/episode/6T5s6twYsYJ8qIKWNcazXN?si=UpM7C-1uRlO8JVt5754R1w Manifest Planner: https://themanifestplanner.com/ A consistent sleep schedule. I genuinely feel so much better when I follow a regular sleep pattern. In the summer, the sun rises early and sets late, and I find that when I watch both the sunrise and the sunset, I am able to sleep better while feeling incredibly grounded. It also helps that I leave my windows open when I sleep. In the morning, the sun shines directly through my window, waking me up and allowing me to go outside and get sunlight in my eyes first thing. Hydrate. Being dehydrated leads to so much we don't think about, such as mood swings and feeling exhausted. I love using LMNT to hydrate, which is a sugar free drink that helps replenish electrolytes lost in sweat. Nature's version of LMNT is to add a pinch of pink Himalayan salt and lemon to a glass of water, which is also very beneficial. Less screen time. Being away from screens is incredibly liberating and will immensely improve your mental health. A physically moving body is great, but a sharp mind is equally as important. Reading a book, playing a board game, talking to someone, journaling, painting, making bracelets, going for a walk, or just sitting and enjoying what's around you are all things that occupy the brain, while also replacing unnecessary screen time. 2 Finding more movement. Aside from working out, how can we continue to move our bodies? With the weather being warm, can we park a little farther away and walk to dinner? Can you bike to your workout class? Can you meet up with friends outside for a walk instead of happy hour? Can you make an activity goal of 5,000 steps at sunset every night? There's always a way to go one step further in order to better yourself, and there are countless creative ways to do so. Eating fresh, seasonal foods. Eating seasonally, like buying fresh peaches or jersey tomatoes, feels amazing and tastes delicious. Are there new recipes you can try out, such as grilled chicken on top of a greek salad with a side of orzo? Or adding mint to a fresh squeezed lemonade? Walking to the farmer's market is also a great way to get active, eat locally and seasonally, and get creative in the kitchen. These 5 simple tips are a great place to start your journey! While these tips are simple and you will notice a big impact, they're not always easy to do everyday. Be gentle with yourself and begin with just one at a time, then gradually add one more to your routine. You make 30,000 decisions every day, and it only takes one to alter the course of your life. Making good, thoughtful decisions one at a time will create the balanced lifestyle that you desire in the long run. Go to https://zocdoc.com/manifest and download the Zocdoc app for FREE. The beauty of creating a routine that supports your wellness is that aside from a few basic tenets, you can choose what types of practices fit your preferences and lifestyle. If you have access to a sauna, it can be an efficient means to reduce stress, enhance recovery, and lower inflammation. Although sauna therapy has been a tradition in certain cultures for thousands of years, it's also a current trend in the wellness space due to its numerous science-backed health benefits. When my friend, Prince EA, had the idea to start a podcast in a sauna, I was happy to have a conversation with him about all things health. On today's show, you're going to hear my interview with Prince EA's new podcast, Sauna Sessions. We're going to cover a wide variety of health topics like how vitamin D impacts your hormones, how hydration plays a role in brain function, and simple rules for healthy eating. We'll talk about the studies behind declining fertility rates and what you can do to boost your reproductive health. You'll also learn about how environmental factors like epicaloric controllers and epigenetic controls can influence your weight and risk for disease. In this interview, I'll be sharing some of my personal story of regaining my health, my current fitness routine and how it can fluctuate, and my philosophy on supplementation. We're also going to cover some nutrition basics, the number one exercise for human health, simple biohacks you can incorporate into your routine, and so much more. This episode is packed with tons of insights you can use to take action on your health today! I hope you enjoy my interview from Sauna Sessions with Prince Ea. In this episode you'll discover: The health benefits of sauna therapy. How spending time in the sun can improve your hormones. The best foods for boosting your vitamin D levels. What percentage of Americans suffer from chronic illnesses. How epigenetic controllers and epicaloric controllers impact your health. My current fitness routine. On today's episode we have a very special guest, Elliot Chudleigh from the Online Parent PT on Instagram, and our topic is simple health habits and helping parents to have more energy and feel good. Often in the fitness world there's a disconnect between being a fulltime parent and “the fitness junkie” that makes being into fitness seem difficult or somewhat impossible, but Elliot has come up with an approach to make it seem much more accessible and doable. “The outcome goal would be, ‘I'm going to lose 10 pounds' for example, whereas the identity based goal is ‘I'm gonna be the type of person who works out every day.'” How this whole thing came about 1:40Identifying differently 7:55The habits that define one as a healthy, nutritious, energy-filled parent 11:50How to get people started 19:30The gym is often not accessible 27:30Look to control the controllable 30:45Find more about Elliot 36:35“If I want to be the person who works out, then I need to do little things every day to put myself as that person. So it might just be that I just do a 10 minute workout every day and it's just those little things that then identify yourself as a person when you're having a conversation with someone, ‘Yeah I work out 5 days a week' you become that type of person, therefore that starts changing your identity.” 9:49@witfitptwww.theonlineparentpt.com/challengehttps://www.facebook.com/theirishmummy/https://www.instagram.com/the_irish_mummy/Pick up a copy of Journal to Joy.
