Major IPs don't typically see big cancellations. So what caused this? What wild, speculative, egregious reason could possibly keep us from getting a rebooted Stargate series? Well.....

Daarmee wil Peking de afhankelijkheid van Amerikaanse chipmakers als Nvidia en AMD afbouwen en de achterstand op de VS inlopen, vertelt techredacteur Stijn Goossens in deze Tech Update. China bereidt een omvangrijk investeringsplan voor om verspreide AI-datacenters te bundelen tot één samenhangend, landelijk netwerk. Dat meldt Bloomberg op basis van ingewijden. Verschillende overheidsinstanties, waaronder de invloedrijke National Development and Reform Commission, werken aan het plan. Staatsbedrijven China Mobile en China Telecom moeten het merendeel van de datacenters beheren en met elkaar verbinden. Het plan past in China's nieuwste vijfjarenplan, dat loopt tot 2030 en zwaar inzet op AI en data-infrastructuur. Vanaf vandaag verschijnen gesponsorde 'snaps' tussen de gewone chats, met alleen een klein label 'ad' ernaast; KLM is een van de eerste merken die meedoet. Het platform telt in Nederland zo'n 6 miljoen maandelijkse gebruikers en draait nog altijd verlies. Belangenstichting SOMI sleept Snapchat voor de rechter via een massaclaim. SOMI stelt dat het platform verslavend is ontworpen, met functies als de 'streaks', en dat dit in strijd is met de Digital Services Act. As You Wish Talk Radio with James Gilliland Contact, Consciousness, and Self-Mastery: James Gilliland and Peter Slattery on Disclosure, Discernment, and the New Earth James Gilliland Opens with ECETI Announcements In this episode of As You Wish Talk Radio, host James Gilliland opens with housekeeping announcements for upcoming events at the ranch, including a Retreat to Silence with Jesse, a Self-Mastery Ambassador Training with James and Peter, and a remote viewing workshop with guest Peter Slattery. James describes the ranch as a place where silence is never truly silent because, in his view, many masters and beings are present there. He then introduces Peter as a longtime contactee, author, documentary creator, and “brother from another mother.” Peter Slattery on Contact and Activity in Australia Peter joins from Australia and discusses preparations for his upcoming workshops and travel to the United States. He and James describe intense recent sky activity, including fleets of ships, objects around the space station, activity near Starlink, and craft seen with the naked eye. Both men say that contact activity has increased dramatically, and Peter suggests that the multidimensional nature of the phenomenon is becoming harder to ignore. James says activity at the ranch has become so frequent that guests often see multiple objects in the sky at once. Disclosure, Controlled Narratives, and Spiritual Censorship James and Peter then turn to what they see as problems inside the UFO and disclosure communities. They discuss online attacks, hacking, character assassination, black magic, demonic influence, reptilian or lower-astral interference, and the use of fear, rage, and division to destabilize people. James says that when critics cannot refute evidence of contact, they often attack a person's character instead. Peter emphasizes the importance of energetic clearing, discernment, and self-mastery so people do not unknowingly carry or amplify negative influences. The Divine Feminine, Yeshua, and Ancient Teachings James and Peter also discuss the divine feminine, Mary Magdalene, Mother Mary, Yeshua, the Ethiopian Bible, ancient contact, and suppressed spiritual history. Peter connects the rise of the divine feminine to a correction of long-standing masculine imbalance, while James argues that Yeshua's deeper teachings were about empowering individuals to make their own direct connection with God or Source. They also discuss Mary Magdalene as a highly trained spiritual figure rather than the diminished figure they believe religious tradition later portrayed her to be. Self-Mastery, Clearings, and Creating Heaven on Earth The conversation repeatedly returns to self-mastery and personal responsibility. James says people should ask whether their actions are helping create heaven on earth or contributing to competition, slander, division, and victim patterns. Peter recommends regular energetic clearings and shielding practices, including visualizing an orb of light and connecting with the heart. Peter describes clearings as necessary, but also says people must look at their own wounds, ego, rage, and projections if they want lasting transformation. Peter cautions that children should not be pushed into skywatching or contact work without proper protection, prayer, and clearing. James agrees that parents should create safe, clear environments and listen to children rather than dismissing their experiences. He recalls passing a talking stick around a fire circle with children and being impressed by their answers about healing the Earth, saying many parents realized they needed to listen more deeply to their children. The planning tools in use today were designed for neither problem.Host Bridget van Dorsten is joined by Kay Aikin, CEO and Founder of Dynamic Grid, energy engineer, grid architecture advisor to the DOE-supported GridWise Architecture Council, and contributor to the UN Environmental Program's building decarbonisation work. Kay unpacks what an AI training facility actually does to the grid with full GPU load for hours or days, then a drop to ten percent in seconds during checkpointing. She talks about how at the scale now planned, the Stargate project in Texas alone could represent ten percent of ERCOT disappearing in four seconds. The behaviour is stochastic and cannot be modelled with traditional statistical tools. At distribution level, virtual power plants responding to wholesale signals without circuit-level visibility can create competing oscillations, the kind of emergent dynamics that contributed to the Spanish grid failure.The proposed fix is an AI controller at the substation, sending price-based signals and flexible operating envelopes to large assets and VPP operators, giving them twenty-four-hour forecasts and real-time circuit visibility. Total cost: under a hundred thousand dollars installed. The reason it isn't everywhere is cost-of-service regulation. Utilities earn returns on deployed capital, so a million-dollar transformer replacement is more profitable than software that eliminates the need for it.Without new approaches, rebuilding the US distribution grid could cost up to ten trillion dollars by 2040. Kay is developing grid utilisation metrics with regulators in Maine, Virginia, and Maryland to incentivise extracting more from existing infrastructure.
