Pedro Lapa é professor da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Foi diretor artístico do Museu Coleção Berardo entre 2011 e 2017 e diretor do Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea - Museu do Chiado, entre 1998 e 2009. Foi também curador da Ellipse Foundation entre 2004 e 2009. É doutorado em História da Arte pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. É autor de muitas publicações no domínio da arte moderna e contemporânea, de entre as quais se destacam André Romão. Manuela Marques é a mais recente autora a entrar na colecção dedicada aos fotógrafos portugueses contemporâneos, a “Série Ph.". A obra foi apresentada nas Éditions Loco, em Paris, a 7 de Fevereiro, e foi a oportunidade para a RFI conversar com a artista que assume “documentar poeticamente o mundo”. Neste programa, falámos também com a crítica de arte Teresa Castro e com o editor da colecção Cláudio Garrudo sobre “a arte da atenção” da fotografia de Manuela Marques. A coleção Ph., editada pela Imprensa Nacional, publicou, desde 2017, monografias de Helena Almeida, Paulo Nozolino, Jorge Molder, Fernando Lemos, Daniel Blaufuks, Rita Barros, Jorge Luís Neto, António Júlio Duarte, Alfredo Cunha, Jorge Guerra, Ernesto de Sousa e José M. Rodrigues.Agora, o foco é dado a Manuela Marques, artista nascida em Portugal em 1959 e a viver em Paris há largos anos. Cláudio Garrudo, o editor da coleção, conta que o objectivo é “ter todos os grandes nomes da fotografia portuguesa” e Manuela Marques faz parte.Nós queremos, com esta colecção, ter todos os grandes nomes da fotografia portuguesa. Obviamente, não podíamos deixar a Manuela de fora com o trabalho que tem desenvolvido ao longo destes anos.Neste “Ph.13”, podemos ver obras realizadas por Manuela Marques entre 1986 e 2024, nas quais um dos fios condutores é a sua visão sobre a paisagem, sublimada para além da realidade imediata e dotada de uma visão intimista e poética.O livro conta com um texto da crítica de arte Teresa Castro, que descreve a fotografia de Manuela Marques como “a arte da atenção”, em que os espaços fotografados são habitados “física e emocionalmente” pela artista. Em conversa com a RFI, Teresa Castro descreve que essa “arte da atenção” está presente na forma de conceber processo criativo, mas também numa certa “ética do olhar” que se poderia resumir - talvez -no facto de ela "fotografar com a natureza" e não se limitar a tirar fotografias da natureza. A expressão ética da atenção parece-me englobar duas coisas muito importantes no trabalho da Manuela Marques. Por um lado, o próprio processo criativo está intimamente ligado a esta ideia da atenção e, e ao mesmo tempo, a uma ética do olhar. Há uma forma de a Manuela trazer, para o centro das imagens e para o primeiro plano, elementos naturais ou fenómenos naturais ignorados ou pouco valorizados pela imagem e, por isso, é que eu acho que o processo de criação tem a ver com uma exploração que é uma forma de tomar atenção às coisas da natureza, de atentar nos elementos naturais, de atentar na matéria. Esta forma de atenção é também uma forma de estar disponível para o mundo (…)Para mim, a ética do olhar é uma forma de fazer com que a nossa atenção não seja apenas um fenómeno perceptivo, mas é convidar-nos também a tomar atenção, por exemplo, aos seixos, aos pedregulhos, à luz, às plantas, às árvores. De facto, há uma série de elementos naturais que estão muito presentes no trabalho da Manuela Marques, mas eu diria que ela não faz tanto fotografias da natureza, ela fotografa com a natureza. Por isso, eu acho que há uma ética ambiental. Teresa Castro sublinha, ainda, à RFI que as imagens de Manuela Marques são “uma experiência completamente sensorial e poética”, ligadas não apenas aos jogos de reflexos, de luz, de enquadramentos e de matérias mas, também, “a uma dimensão quase alquímica”. Tanto é que, no texto do Ph.13, podemos ler que “as fotografias de Manuela Marques têm frequentemente o efeito de uma revelação. Vemos como se víssemos pela primeira vez”. Uma ideia que reforçou na entrevista.É isso mesmo. É ver como se víssemos, por exemplo, uma nuvem, uma pedra, um lago, como se o víssemos pela primeira vez. Como se essas coisas ainda fossem virgens no nosso olhar. A fotografia da Manuela tem essa capacidade de nos fazer sentir isso, que nunca tínhamos visto uma coisa até ela ter sido fotografada pela Manuela Marques. Muitas vezes, são coisas da natureza, mas não só. O trabalho da Manuela Marques não se exclui na questão da natureza, mas as imagens, as fotografias que ela faz têm essa capacidade de nos fazer sentir essa emoção de ver pela primeira vez. Fotografar é “documentar poeticamente o mundo”Para Manuela Marques, fotografar é “documentar poeticamente o mundo”, uma abordagem, talvez “alquímica”, que lhe foi revelada ainda em menina. Quanto à natureza e à paisagem, é aí que a magia opera e que o mistério do processo criativo acontece.Eu acho que há alguns pontos que são para mim essenciais nesta questão da natureza, da paisagem, que é uma matéria viva e em constante transformação. Para mim, no meu trabalho, suscita muito questionamento. É um questionamento que não pára. Eu nunca páro numa ideia da paisagem ou numa ideia da natureza. É uma constante questão, para mim, devido à ligação que temos de uma maneira muito forte e que esquecemos completamente. Então, essa questão reactiva um fio que se perdeu.Eu não tenho medo da palavra ‘poética'. Não acho que seja uma palavra feia, ou suja, ou não sei quê. Eu assumo totalmente a palavra. A questão é que eu não estou muito interessada por uma arte em que a pessoa compreende exactamente o que está a ver à primeira vista. Eu prefiro estar num campo que coloca mais questões do que dá respostas ao que está a ver. Eu acho que é, por isso, que escapa um pouco a essa questão da representação imediata do que se está a ver. É documentar poeticamente o mundo. Vencedora do Prémio BESPHOTO de fotografia, em 2011, Manuela Marques tem exposto em vários países. Em Portugal, por exemplo, destacam-se as exposições “Echoes of Nature”, no Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea de Lisboa (2022/2023), “Weather Station”, no Centro de Arte Arquipélago, nos Açores, (2019), “La face cachée du soleil”, na Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (2017), “Temporada”, na Appleton Square, em Lisboa (2011), “Lá Fora”, na Fundação EDP, e “She is a Femme Fatale”, no Museu Coleção Berardo, ambas em 2009.Em França, expôs no Museu André Malraux, Le Havre (2022), no Centro de Arte Domaine de Kerguéhennec (2022), no Museu de Lodève (2019), no Centro de Arte Cyel em La Roche-sur-Yon (2019), no Centro Fotográfico Île-de-France, FRAC Auvergne e FRAC Normandie. O seu trabalho foi também exposto no Museu SAMoCA, em Riad, na Arábia Saudita (2024). No Brasil, teve uma exposição individual na Pinacoteca de São Paulo (2011) e participou em várias exposições colectivas no Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Niterói, no Museu de Arte Moderna de Brasília e no Centro de Arte Hélio Oiticica, no Rio de Janeiro. Deutsche erkennen uns sekundenschnell als Schweizer oder Schweizerin, wenn wir Hochdeutsch sprechen. Warum ist das so? Markus und Nadia hören genau hin und listen die Merkmale auf, die unsere Herkunft verraten. Kleiner Spoiler: Es liegt vor allem an unserer Aussprache. Am rollenden «r» zum Beispiel, an den harten «kch-» und «ch-»Lauten oder an Doppellauten wie «klääine Löite» statt bundesdeutschem «klaine Loite»: «Ichch packche määinen Kchoffer und verrääise.» Zudem nehmen sie die heiss diskutierte Frage auf, ob Schweizerhochdeutsch peinlich ist oder ob man stolz sein soll darauf. Geprägt wird unser Hochdeutsch stark von der Schule und von den Medien. Deshalb kommen Experten zur Sprache, die angehende Lehrpersonen und angehende Radiosprechende ausbilden. Es gilt, ein breites Spektrum zwischen mundartnahem Schweizerhochdeutsch und bühnenreifem Bundesdeutsch zu entdecken! Der Familienname Belart Der Name Belart ist ein Vatername, der wohl auf eine lautlich veränderte Form von Bernhard zurückgeht. Dieser Personenname erscheint im romanischen Sprachraum schon vor dem Jahr 1000 als Berardo, Berard u. ä., und dann auch als Belardus, Belard u.ä. Der in der Schweiz lediglich in Brugg (AG) alteinheimische Familienname Belart ist mit Glaubensflüchtlingen aus Frankreich, genauer aus dem damals zum Haus Savoyen gehörigen Piemont, im Jahr 1646 nach Brugg gekommen.

João Pedro Vale (Lisboa, 1976) licenciou-se em Escultura na FBAUL, e estudou na Maumaus, em Lisboa. Nuno Alexandre Ferreira (Torres Vedras, 1973) estudou Sociologia na Universidade Nova de Lisboa.Iniciaram a sua atividade artística no final da década de 1990, começando desde cedo a trabalhar em conjunto e realizando projetos que se destacam pela diversidade de meios, suportes e linguagens. Inauguraram no dia 10 do passado mês de julho a Casa Vale Ferreira, a sua primeira exposição antológica, ocupando a quase totalidade da Casa de Serralves, no Porto; e inauguraram Climacz, este sábado na Appleton Square, em Lisboa.De entre os seus projetos mais recentes, inclui-se a participação em festivais como Fabric, Fall River (EUA) em 2022; Walk&Talk, São Miguel, Açores (Portugal) em 2021; e MOVE19, Centre Pompidou, Paris (França), e LIAF19 — Lofoten International Art Festival, Svolvær (Noruega) em 2019. Destacam-se as exposições individuais na Rialto6, Lisboa (Portugal) em 2022; no MAAT, Lisboa, e no Museu Marítimo de Ílhavo, Ílhavo (Portugal) em 2019; na Galeria Presença, Porto, e na Galeria Cristina Guerra, Lisboa (Portugal) em 2018; e a criação de um espetáculo de circo para a primeira edição da BoCA em 2017. Participaram em exposições em locais como Haus der Kunst, Munique (Alemanha); Frac Nouvelle-Aquitaine MÉCA, Bordeaux (França); Galeria Leme, Estação Pinacoteca e Centro Municipal de Arte Hélio Oiticica, São Paulo (Brasil); NURTURart, Nova Iorque, e Smithsonian Museum, Washington (EUA); Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Unión Fenosa, Corunha, (Espanha); Centre d'art Pasquart (Suíça); Gasworks, Londres (Reino Unido); Museu de Serralves, Porto, Galeria Filomena Soares, Fundação PLMJ, Museu do Chiado, Museu Coleção Berardo e CAM – Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisboa (Portugal). Os seus filmes foram apresentados em festivais como Artprojx Cinema, Nova Iorque (EUA), Cineport, João Pessoa (Brasil), Temps d'Images, Queer Lisboa e Lisbon and Estoril Film Festival (Portugal). Realizaram inúmeras residências artísticas: em 2008, ISCP – International Studio and Curatorial Program, Nova Iorque (EUA); em 2019, em Lofoten (Noruega); em 2018 e 2020, Cité International des Arts, Paris (França). A sua obra está representada em diversas coleções nacionais e internacionais, como Tate, Fundação EDP, Fundação de Serralves, Museu do Chiado ou Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Entre 2014 e 2017, criaram o projeto BREGAS, em Xabregas, com o objetivo de apoiar e promover projetos de artistas e curadores locais. Tuttavia, quanto accade ora, nel cosiddetto post-superbonus?Questa è la domanda che abbiamo posto a Luca Berardo, Presidente di Assoposa, in una recente intervista radiofonica. Secondo Berardo, il post-superbonus è stato gestito in modo insufficiente, lasciando il settore impreparato ad affrontare le conseguenze dell'impennata di attività seguita alla misura.L'anno 2023 ha visto la chiusura di migliaia di partite IVA nell'edilizia, un dato che Berardo ritiene sottostimato ma che evidenzia le difficoltà affrontate dalle imprese del settore.In particolare, sottolinea le criticità legate alla comunicazione propagandistica attorno al superbonus, che ha portato a una percezione distorta dell'incentivo come un regalo eccessivo per l'edilizia. We chat with two great musicians who live in the Northeast...Alan Chapell from the West Village in NYC who is from Stamford, CT and Marc Douglas Berardo in Westerly, Rhode Island who is from Rye, New York. Both musicians tell us about their back round and we get the pleasure of listening to a couple of songs from each of them. In this episode, Michael spoke with Ramiro Berardo, a professor in the School of Environment & Natural Resources at the Ohio State University. Ramiro discussed with Michael his research on natural resource governance using social network analysis (SNA), the diversity of resources that are now available for scholars trying to learn SNA, and the more recent trend towards social-ecological network analysis.
