Wake up, it's a beautiful morning! It's the spring of 1995. That most eclectic of decades, the nineties if you will, was no longer the new kid on the millennial block. Pop culture has boxed up the eighties for another day, had shaken off baggy, was in the process of returning grunge back to the US and was now striding confidently onwards with a swagger all of its own. The country was beginning to look and sound different. The political landscape was shifting towards something ‘new' and felt more relatable, and pop shared this sense of renewed optimism that, actually, anything was possible. Which, of course (you know the script by now) was perfectly represented in the eclectic tracklist of the latest, legendary compilation NOW, That's What I call Music as it reached yet another milestone with volume 30. The cover was new, the graphics were new, and the variously compiled selections represented what the nation was tuning into across TV (possibly with Chris Evans), radio (possibly with Chris Evans) or carrying home from the local music shop (possibly with, eh, no, actually).Springtime was giving us blooming boybands, blossoming Britpop, some classic returning popstars, and a VERY large slice of dancefloor tuneage. In fact, a WHOLE CD of it! Blimey, we were all mad for it, indeed! And, joining me for this poptastic 1995 episode is radio presenter, actor and massive pop tart (his words) Grant Stott.Discover how Grant, alongside Zoe Ball, really did make a big splash in 1995, hosting the BBC network Saturday morning show Fully Booked, alongside plenty of the artists on NOW30 - yes, even Jimmy Nail!Along the way, also discover which pre-NOW compilations inspired Grant's listening (there are some crackers!), how he ended up drunk with the Spice Girls (and the Krankies, but not at the same time, sadly) and laugh as two middle-aged men try and remember Eurovision facts and generally recollect a rather hazy year indeed!Expect starring roles from (amongst others) Janet Jackson, Massive Attack, Pato Banton (on several occasions) Cannon and Ball (!) and a plethora of NOW1 throwback stars. And find out which tracks on NOW30 would make it on to (shameless plug!) Grant's Vinyl Collective show every Friday at 6pm on BBC Radio Scotland. (You're welcome!) Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this episode of General Witchfinders, we take a close look at The Creeping Flesh (1973), a British horror film from cult studio Tigon British Film Productions. Best known for low-budget horror that ran alongside the likes of Hammer Horror and Amicus, Tigon was founded in 1966 by Tony Tenser and operated out of Hammer House on Wardour Street in London. This marks our first dive into their back catalogue—and what a place to start. The Creeping Flesh stars Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee (#BigChrisLee) as brothers on opposing ends of a bizarre scientific discovery involving an ancient skeleton, reanimation, and some very shaky ideas about inherited evil. Lorna Heilbron plays opposite them as the increasingly disturbed Penelope. The film was directed by Freddie Francis, a key figure in British horror cinema. Francis replaced Don Sharp at the last minute and brought his usual visual flair, having previously directed Paranoiac, The Evil of Frankenstein, Dracula Has Risen from the Grave, and Tales from the Crypt. He's also better known in wider circles for his cinematography—earning two Academy Awards and five BAFTAs for work on Sons and Lovers, The Elephant Man, The Innocents, Return to Oz, and Glory. He also worked on Dune, Cape Fear, and even music videos for All Saints and Jimmy Nail. Cinematographer Norman Warwick handled the visuals on The Creeping Flesh. Warwick was also behind the camera for The Abominable Dr. Phibes (see Episode 10), Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde, and Confessions of a Window Cleaner. The film was shot at Shepperton Studios and Thorpe House in Surrey. We believe The Creeping Flesh was the 20th film pairing Cushing and Lee, likely falling between Horror Express (Episode 7) and Nothing but the Night (Episode 42). Hello everyone! Welcome back to Hits 21: The 90s.At the roundtable this week it's Rob, Ed, and Andy! This week - KWS get to covering and stealing, Erasure are Abba-ish, and Jimmy Nail... has a go/does his best, delete as appropriate.Twitter: @Hits21UKEmail: hits21podcast@gmail.com
It's a brand new season of PCL, you wonderful people! A reason for celebration and joy all over the world except for the fact that our first episode is apparently on a Celine Dion album that first came out in 1993. How is this the case? It's the one with 'Power Of Love' and 'Think Twice' on it, two monster power ballads which are a weakness of ours so perhaps this will actually be up our streets? There is also a record breaking amount of album and single releases that we get the chance to talk about because Celine's album was at number for multiple weeks at the start of 1995 so you can hear us chat about the likes of Leftfield, Quicksand, PJ Harvey and for some reason, PJ & Duncan. And we also bring up the topic of Jimmy Nail about three times so sorry about that. As always please do give us a follow on our social media platforms and why not go and give us a nice rating over on Spotify now that you're able to while you're checking out this episode's companion playlist (which contains ALL of the songs we talk about on this one) and our ongoing and sprawling playlist of songs from each album that we do an episode on. Cheers!
Hey you! You're about to listen to another GREAT episode of Trve. Cvlt. Pop! WELL DONE! On this weeks show we do basically the opposite of what Gaz used to do on his old podcast Track One, Side One and, instead of picking a bunch of opening tracks from albums, we pick some of our favourite closing tracks from some of our fave albums. There's plenty of good stuff from the world of funk, stoner rock, college rock, soul, goth-punk and much more. Plus we pay tribute to former Kerrang! magazine editor, NME man and friend of the show James McMahon, there's talk from the recent Therpy? London show and we talk A LOT about Jimmy Nail... no, Jimmy we're not lying!
For our last "proper" episode in season five before we get into our 1994 end of year round-ups we return to a band that we've covered a couple of times before. And while you could argue that we realistically shouldn't be covering this record because it's not a studio album and is half full of previously released tunes, well... shut up. We're very obviously too big of fanboys not to do this one as well. And to help us out with discussing such a big record we are joined by the brilliant Niall Bakewell from The Zeroes Podcast. Full disclosure: we recorded this episode a good while ago and out of sequence with the rest of this season because Niall had to make the trip over to us from Northern Ireland and he's a very busy man so we happily worked around his schedule. There are also plenty of other bands and acts that we talked about in this one as well such as Pearl Jam, Stone Roses, Sheryl Crow and, erm, Jimmy Nail. Hmmm. Along the way we do touch on some more serious subjects as you can probably imagine so this one isn't necessarily as light-hearted as other episodes but there are also some of Dave's worst jokes to date to try and balance it out. As always please do give us a follow on our social media platforms and why not go and give us a nice rating over on Spotify now that you're able to while you're checking out this episode's companion playlist and our ongoing and sprawling playlist of songs from each album that we do an episode on. Cheers!

This week on The Metro, Rev Jeff Ivins brings you the following bands for your time warp back to the 1980s: Magazine, Rick Astley, Human Sexual Response, Midge Ure, Jimmy Nail, Musical Youth, Devo, Erasure, Bananarama, Level 42, Cutting Crew, Elvis Costello & The Attractions, Bronski Beat, Blondie, and finishes up with Culture Club.
This week we're talking about the rare phenomenon that is Foreign Accent Syndrome & we deliver some dodgy impressions while we're at it.
W/C 8th April 2024This is one of those songs where I don't actually know the original. I was introduced it by me by Jimmy Nail(not personally, obvs) as he covered it on his album Tadpoles in a Jar in 1999.It turns out it was written in 1972 by a band called Family, and I am listening to it for the first time as I write this.I have always loved the JN version, because it's a perfect little thing, a little gem of a song that doesn't demand your attention or sit proud in your subconscious, but is a thing of beauty none the less. And it evokes my Friday night walk home, post weetabix procurement, perfectly.Stay safe.My Friend the Sun - Jimmy NailMy Friend the Sun - FamilyTherapy For Me (or TFM as I now refer to it) is a bit of an audio curiosity. It started out as a mechanism for me to clear my head, with the hope that by saying stuff out loud it would act as a little bit of self-help. It's remains loose in style, fluid in terms of content and raw - it's a one take, press record and see what happens, affair. If you want to keep in touch with TFM and the other stuff I do then please follow me on Facebook, Insta, Twitter or Patreon. Thanks for getting this far.
Real quick: here's a move from the late 90's about a band that was big in the 70's mounting a reunion tour and having to face some demons in the process. In episode 22, Johnny talks to music supervisor, movie producer and music manager Tarquin Gotch. Tarquin's career saw him rise to Head of A&R at Arista Records in the 1980s - overseeing acts like The Thompson Twins, Simple Minds, The Stray Cats, and The Beat. He then moved to Warners, transitioning Prince, Madonna and many other American acts into the UK. Moving into music management he oversaw The Beat, Stephen Duffy, The Dream Academy, Hugh Harris, General Public, XTC, Roger McGuinn from the Byrds and Jon Lord from Deep Purple. In a chance encounter in 1984, through his actress and model friend Kelly LeBrock, Tarquin met writer-director John Hughes on the set of Weird Science. He went on to become music supervisor on the John Hughes films Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Some Kind of Wonderful, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, She's Having A Baby, The Great Outdoors and Uncle Buck. Running John Hughes' film company in the 1990s, Tarquin executive produced the films Curly Sue, Dutch, Only The Lonely, and Home Alone. He has since produced both film and TV including the 1998 film Still Crazy, the TV series Crocodile Shoes with Jimmy Nail, the documentary series Cars That Rock with Brian Johnson, and the return of prison sitcom Porridge for the BBC. Tarquin currently manages Brian Johnson of AC/DC, and founding members of the Police, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland. Johnny's talk with Tarquin covers his work curating Life Moves Pretty Fast, a boxset celebrating the music of John Hughes soundtracks, released on Demon Records in 2022. They discuss Tarquin's time working alongside John Hughes and John Candy, his process of putting songs in front of John Hughes for consideration, and which composer he believes revolutionised the art of film scoring. This conversation was recorded online at the beginning of February 2024. Thanks to James Van As who wrote and performed the brilliant music (check out James' Loco Looper game) and to Willow Van As who designed the amazing artwork and provided general podcast support. Welcome back to another episode of Bad Dads Film Review, where today we're dialling the time machine back to the late '90s for a dose of rock-n-roll nostalgia with Still Crazy.Still Crazy, a 1998 British comedy-drama directed by Brian Gibson, takes us on a hilarious and heart-warming journey with a fictional '70s rock band, Strange Fruit, as they attempt a comeback after a tumultuous split two decades earlier. It's a story about second chances, the bonds of friendship, and the enduring power of music. The film opens with the band members leading their separate, somewhat lacklustre lives. When they decide to reunite, we're treated to a rollercoaster of old rivalries, forgotten romances, and the challenges of reliving past glories. "Still Crazy" is not just about the music; it's about the personal struggles and triumphs of each band member as they navigate this new chapter.Still Crazy balances humour with poignant moments. The film is a nostalgic trip with a soundtrack that captures the essence of the '70s rock scene. It's a warm-hearted look at aging rockers who aren't ready to hang up their guitars just yet. While it may not have stormed the box offices, Still Crazy has garnered a cult following over the years, praised for its witty script, dynamic performances, and a soundtrack that's a character in its own right. As dads, there's something relatable about revisiting past passions and the idea of 'getting the band back together.' We'll discuss the film's themes of reconciliation, the passage of time, and the joy of reigniting old dreams. Plus, it might just inspire us to share stories of our own 'glory days.'So, whether you're a fan of classic rock, love a good comeback story, or just enjoy a film with heart and humor, Still Crazy is a must-watch. We love to hear from our listeners! By which I mean we tolerate it. If it hasn't been completely destroyed yet you can usually find us on twitter @dads_film, on Facebook Bad Dads Film Review, on email at baddadsjsy@gmail.com or on our website baddadsfilm.com. Until next time, we remain... Bad Dads

Everyone Dies In Sunderland: A podcast about growing up terrified in the eighties and nineties
Something particularly alarming about growing up in the eighties and nineties was how ambivalent everyone was about basic road safety – even though horrific accidents happened with terrifying regularity. In June 1925, the brakes failed on a coach as it made its way down a steep hill at Dibbles Bridge, in North Yorkshire. Seven people would die in what was at the time the worst road accident in British history. Fifty years later, thirty three people would die at Dibble's Bridge in identical circumstances. Nearly fifty years on, this crash remains the worst road accident in British history. It took another 20 years for seatbelts to become mandatory on coaches. Along the way: David Bowie ingratiates himself with the people of Sunderland! John Pertwee takes a very unorthodox approach to convincing electrical retailers to sell their customers extended washing machine warranties! Ben Wishaw smells lovely! Jimmy Nail thinks she's lying (she's lying)! The gang behind THE OFFICIAL PODCAST OF STACEY SOLOMON SCENTED AIR FRESHNERS also recall the first time they were censored. W/C 22nd November 2021 You probably won't have heard this track before, tbh I wouldn't expect you to have unless you are a fan of the music of Jimmy Nail. Its the last track from an album called Tadpoles in A Jar, and whilst many have been dismissive I have always had a great deal of time for his voice and his take on the world. And of course I have a soft spot for the North East. It seemed like a good choice, an ironic and somewhat flippant take on our PM, and the car crash of a week he had been having. All good. But then I started to listen back. And all manner of imagery from the last few days began to collide. The harrowing scenes from the channel earlier in the week, the senseless stabbing of a 12 year old girl in Liverpool, 'rape culture' in schools and just today the closing of borders due to a new 'variant of concern'. Maybe the big man had it right all along. Matt stuns the boys with his perfect Jimmy Nail (if Jimmy Nail sounded like Max Boyce). We've beaten Newcastle twice in less than two weeks so it was fitting to have a discussion with John about whether he liked Newcastle Brown Ale or why they have a 24 hour Greggs. Stuart's bets go from ridiculous to hopefully the sublime and we discuss the upcoming FA Cup fixture with Southampton (although we were recording it during the fourth round game to decide that).Support the show (http://gunners.com)

“The venues are more of a pay off than the awards, they’re the benchmark for us” Bondy, Catfish and the BottlemenAli and Dan discuss Catfish and the Bottlemen and their ascent from small, independent venues to bona fide festival headliners since their debut album, The Balcony, was released in 2014. As well as making their cases for their favourite Catfish anthems to be included in the final seven song setlist, they also compare the songwriting talents of Van McCann and Arctic Monkey's Alex Turner, the Reading/Leeds announcement that there will be two headliners per night, snobbery in the music press, the UK arenas most likely to score low on the gameshow Pointless, whether Scottish music fans are the best in the world, Jimmy Nail and Kempy's favourite soft beverage, Robinson's Blackcurrant corida.THIS WEEK'S HEADLINERS An adolescent Van McCann, frontman of Catfish and the Bottlemen, began submitting his tracks to the BBC Introducing Uploader a decade ago. He did so with intent, quoted as saying “we believe that once our music is heard, the people will love it”. He was relentlessly committed to the world hearing their music; throwing demos onstage at gigs and stuffing them under car windscreen wipers to get the word around the country. The journey started to pick up pace after their 2013 appearance on the BBC Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds’ festivals. A year later, their debut album, the Balcony, was released. Filled with perfect three-minute indie-rock anthems that resonated not just in their hometown of Llandudno, but nationwide. BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq described them as his favourite band of the year and, judging from their ascension up the line-up posters of festivals across the country, he wasn’t the only one who fell in love with the 11 songs on The Balcony, all of them – according to Van in an interview with Lammo - about girls and getting out a small town. The songs on their debut were made to be played live – or rather screamed back at the band from their legions of devoted fans - and follow-up The Ride, released in 2016, and last year’s effort, The Balance, have capitalised on Van’s instinct for a great hook and huge singalong choruses that match the bands’ stadium sized ambition. Experiencing Catfish live – even watching footage of their gigs and the reaction of their fans – prove that they are worthy festival headliners and next year, alongside Stormzy, come full circle as they top the bill at Reading and Leeds festival. Episode 50, the final chapter of The Story of Rock and Roll Radio Show for the second decade of the 21st century aired at 21h00 on 26 Dec 2019. The show was in an earlier timeslot so it's about an hour longer than normal, the music was great, but I struggled a bit to find the rhythm. There are good reasons for this but I won't go into them here, let's just call it a year. For TSORR it's been a steep learning curve, it's been exciting and really interesting. Thank you all for the incredible support and for listening. I learned a lot in this first year of podcasting and you can look forward to exponential improvements in Season II of The Story of Rock and Roll Radio Show in 2020.On this show were some great moments, the music is always rock solid, excuse the pun. Having an extra 10 songs allowed me to experiment with two tracks from the movies. The first being Atticus Fetch (Tim Minchen) performing a track called 'So Long' off Season 6 of the Californication Series. Then the final track of the show, 'The Flame Still Burns', performed by Jimmy Nail and written by Mick Jones, of Foreigner fame, is from a movie called Still Crazy. All rock fans should see it and you will get some more detail about it on www.thestoryofrockandroll.com. It is special, those who know will know. We had a bit of a look at 2019 and I reckon that Mania is now my best Metal album for 2019. It's from a little known band out of San Francisco called Hell Fire.Artists featured included: Def Leppard, Marilyn Manson, Ace Frehley, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Northward, Dio, Van Halen, The Sex Pistols, Blue Scream, Rose Tattoo, Coheed & Cambria, Newsted, Dirty Honey, The Wildhearts, Strange Fruit, ACDC, Arapaho, John Mellencamp, Iced Earth, Linkin Park, Iron Maiden, Skid Row, The Almighty, Alice In Chains, Bad Company, Desperado, The Clash, Cinderella, Airbourne, Atticus Fetch, Hell Fire, Strange Fruit, Sugar Drive, In Flames and The Wildhearts.
Don't bother asking yourself, "how did I get here?" just listen to us talk about Talking Heads' "Once in a Lifetime" instead! We also talk about music videos in our bonus segment, "I Promise We'll Be More Prepared Next Week." Covers by: Big Daddy, Blenderhead, Phish, Jimmy Nail, Blind Corn Liquor Pickers, Barb Jung, The Bad Shepherds, David Chevalier ft. David Lynx, and Angelique Kidjo. Spotify Playlist here

The song this week is entitled "Seasons" and came about atfer a conversation I had with a chap a while ago....he had emigrated to Australia and decided he had made a mistake....he was originally from Wirral and I mentioned hot weather and "barbies" to which he replied he was fed up with the heat etc...I casually mentioned the fact that I enjoy the seasons and he said that was it...that is what he misses most....this was the inspiration behind the song which ended up on one of my DVDs of the area. Theresa May had a cough during her speech at the Tory Conference...which has become BIG NEWS....it was a COUGH that's all...we all get them...the BBC news coverage was pathetic...as always...I thought she did really well...but the stupid BBC have to make a major issue of it with unfunny comedy clips.GROW UP!!!!....I am an admthe pressure while others keep in the background and share the glory but not the disasters....and I'm getting a bit sick of politicians thinking they are showbiz personalities with their modern hairstyles etc....they should concentrate on doing their job !!! And still with the useless BBC....a car crashed in London and injured 12 people....it wasn't a terror attack...but just in case the BBC send a helicopter up with full news crew taking aerial pictures of the situation ending up with a disappointed statement that it wasn't a terror attack....cost of the whole thing ONE MILLION !!!....what a total waste of money...MY MONEY !!...what a pity they couldn't sensationalise the situation like they do with everything else...the BBC are rubbish..I watched a programme about chat shows going wrong which featured amongst others Jerry Lewis being interviewed and he was so rude to the interviewer....he simply answered Yes or No to the questions with a bored look on his face....I could never stand him anyway....and Denzel Washington was the same....these "stars" need a reality check and should remember who put them there in the first place....the programme also featured Wogan trying to interview that drunken idiot George Best....dreadful...I remember Jimmy Nail turning up at Radio City in Liverpool and a young lad who worked there asked him for his autograph to which he got "I haven't got time for that sort of thing" and brushed past him...haven't heard much of Mr.Nail lately....I wonder why. And finally...I am delighted to announce that my composition Googi The Liverpool Duck has entered the charts at NUMBER 6 !!....however NOT the charts we know....it's the Bottom Of The Pops chart which is featured on Radio Merseyside on Sunday...the programme is presented by a chap called Graham Mack and is really good....he has asked the local population to vote for the worst novelty records ever made...they are all in there...Benny Hill...Bernard Bresslaw...the number one was The Barron Knights....but hey there is still time...I was very disappointed when Googi never made the classical music charts but this has made up for it.

The North East of England's Case for Culture is a bold plan to raise £300 million for art projects. Instead of being an adjunct to development culture is seen as the key to the region's redevelopment. But only a few years ago Newcastle cut its arts budget entirely. Organisations are exploring new ways of working. Jim Beirne of Live Theatre takes John Wilson to the pub the theatre runs, the profits of which pay for a new play every year. It also owns restaurants and prime office space, to fund its theatre and outreach projects. The Northumbrian piper Kathryn Tickell has just launched a new organisation, Magnetic North East, to foster the identity, music and traditions of the North East. It has released an album of songs and tunes, new and old, about the River Tyne, by artists ranging from Jimmy Nail to the Unthanks. Last Friday it held a grand concert in the region's village hall - Auditorium One of The Sage, featuring famous North East artists such as Paul Smith of the band Maximo Park, young folk musicians and a host of children giving a world premiere of a work by David Almond.Kathryn Tickell, John Mowbray - the High Sheriff of Tyne and Wear, and a prime mover in the Case for Culture, David Almond, who wrote Skellig, the Olivier Award winning playwright, Shelagh Stephenson, whose new play is set in her hometown of Tynemouth, all contribute to John Wilson's exploration, as he rambles around Newcastle, of the role of art in the regeneration of the North East of England.Presenter: John Wilson Producer: Julian May.

Two fat, ugly, unappreciated, overacting and arrogant losers move from one unfunny joke to the next. Anyway, enough about the Don’t Jump the Shark boys, (zing!) would you like to know what film we are covering? Drum Roll Please…. Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny We are so bored with this one we spend a good 10 minutes of the episode discussing Lou Diamond Phillips and Jimmy Nail. Basically Liam Lynch couldn’t direct a film even if you stapled his groin to the camera. And I did. Kyle Gass (Ironic that is his name given the amount of fart jokes in the film) couldn’t act in a film even if you stapled his groin to the clapperboard. And I did. The key lesson here is I got a staple gun for Christmas, and I am not scared to use it. Hello everyone and welcome to a very very special episode of Operation Retroshock. As some of you may know that Chris' dad, Gary had been diagnosed with Lung Cancer and Chris is doing a fundraiser on the 29th September for Macmillan cancer research. The person who donated the most money via paypal would have an episode of Operation Retroshock or Wrestleshock dedicated to them. Rory Bradfield generously donated the highest amount and chose for Chris' father to pick the subjects of this episode. Many thanks Rory, the hosts had some great fun discussing the chosen topics! First up is the buddy film that started it all with Riggs and Murtaugh in Lethal Weapon. This was a very popular film with Gary and gave the hosts some notes to read out. Then we go from the crime busting duo to the cat and mouse of Tom and Jerry. Would this cartoon work today? Is it too violent? The hosts then have a musical interlude before discussing one of Gary's favourite TV programme of all time - Auf Wiedersehen Pet starring some top notch talent such as Christopher Fairbank, Timothy Spall and Jimmy Nail. Some of our american listeners may not be familiar with this but look for it on YouTube or DVD. You wont be sorry! We have a great song to round out the show! If you would like to make a contribution to the upcoming Coffee Morning that Chris and his sister are holding, then please send what you can to chrisvint@hotmail.com. A Sketch show about Random stuff by Ian Todd featuring Jimmy Nail,John Barrowman,Geri Halliwell and more stars!
Auf Wiedersehen, Pet On this months episode Meds and Kell talk about the classic comedy drama Auf Wiederdehen, Pet. Created by Franc Roddam and written by the brilliant Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais it ran from 1983 to 1986 and then from 2004 to 2008. Introducing such actors as Tim Healy, Timothy Spall, Kevin Whately, Jimmy Nail, Pat Roach, Christopher Hairbank, Gary Holton and later Noel Clarke to the screens all of these actors have gone to higher things, except Gary, sadly he died during filming of the second series. The basics of Pet are a group of our of work builders head to Germany to seek work, here we see them get into all kind of situations some good, and many involving the character of Oz brilliantly played by the awesome Jimmy Nail. There was only four series of Auf Wiederdehen, Pet and because of the sad loss of Pat Roach i very much doubt we will see these characters on our television screens again. Enjoy. We'd just like to thank Arthur Vasey Robbo1510, Eamon, Dangelus and Crystal who both sent us nice comments over the past months. And a big shout out to Rick Moyer, and Peter Foltz who all contributed to Waffle On, we shall shout you on our next recording. Apologies for the clicking sounds you may hear during this episode. We recorded this two months ago before i became a dad and we think it was the old battery lead causing the odd click in recording. We have a new lead so all is well. Thanks
